Když začnete číst Deniskinovy příběhy, určitě si všimnete poznámek autorova jemného humoru, kterým přitahoval děti do divadla a cirkusu. Děti do něj šílely!
Strýček Míša mě měl posadit do letadla.
A když strýc Míša slyšel tuto „příjemnou“ zprávu, řekl mi:
- Mám to!
A teta Galya! No vydrž! Podal mi lístek a zmlkl. A taky mlčím.
A pak najednou začalo přistávat v letadle.
Letěli jsme zpět do Leningradu.
- Ahoj!
Řekl jsem:
- Ahoj!
Ona řekla:
- Těžko slyšet. koho potřebuješ
Řekl jsem:
— Anastasia Vasilievna.
Ona řekla:
- To zní špatně! Marii Petrovna?
Řekl jsem:
- Vy! Vy! Vy! Mami, jsi to ty?
Ona řekla:
- Těžko slyšet. Mluvte odděleně, hláskujte po písmenech.
Řekl jsem:
- Hm-ah, um-ah. Mami, to jsem já.
Ona řekla:
Denisko, jsi to ty?
Řekl jsem:
— Odjíždím zítra v sedm hodin ráno. Naše moskevské letiště je zavřené, takže je vše v pořádku. Nechte pe-a-pe-a ve-estretite em-enya-me!
Ona řekla:
- On-je-popel-oh!
Řekl jsem:
- No, buď ze-de-orove-a!
Ona řekla:
- Zhe-de-u!
A hned mi to došlo! Tady se dá dobře spát. Potichu jsem otevřel plstěné dveře.
Stop!
A oni mě kývli k sobě a uvolnili místo. Bylo mi teplo, ale stísněně a nepohodlně, protože telefon neustále zvonil a žárovka jasně hořela.
Pak jsme do novin napsali velkým písmem: „Stroj nefunguje,“ a mladík zhasl žárovku.
Okamžitě vyskočili a kníratý nahmatal a zašrouboval žárovku.
Vysvětlil jsem jim, co to bylo. Kníratý voják okamžitě řekl:
- Výborně, chlapče!
Nyní půjdu s vámi do jakékoli inteligence.
"Neopustil jsi tedy své nalezence?"
Řekl jsem:
- Co jsi, jak můžeš!
Doběhli jsme k bráně číslo dvě a nastoupili do letadla.
- A kdy jste s ním souhlasil?
Mustachioed zasáhl do našeho rozhovoru:
"Sejdeme se, nikam nepůjdeme!" Jezdil jsi někdy na koze?
Řekl jsem:
- To slyším poprvé! Co je to za "kozu"?
Odpověděl:
- Teď uvidíš.
A mávali rukama s mladými.
Ke vchodu na letiště vjelo malé, špinavé a zakřivené auto. Řidič-voják měl veselou tvář.
Moji vojenští přátelé nastoupili do auta.
- A kde bydlis?
Odpověděla jsem.
Řekl:
- Alie!

Mustachioed zasáhl do našeho rozhovoru:
Seznamte se, nikam nepůjdeme! Jezdil jsi někdy na koze?
Řekl jsem:
Poprvé, co slyším! Co je to za "kozu"?
Odpověděl:
Nyní uvidíte.
A mávali rukama s mladými.
Ke vchodu na letiště vjelo malé, špinavé a zakřivené auto. Řidič-voják měl veselou tvář.
Moji vojenští přátelé nastoupili do auta.

Strýček Míša mě měl posadit do letadla.
A když strýc Míša slyšel tuto „příjemnou“ zprávu, řekl mi:
- Mám to!
A teta Galya! No vydrž! Podal mi lístek a zmlkl. A taky mlčím.
A pak najednou začalo přistávat v letadle.
Letěli jsme zpět do Leningradu.
- Ahoj!
Řekl jsem:
- Ahoj!
Ona řekla:
- Těžko slyšet. koho potřebuješ
Řekl jsem:
- Anastasia Vasilievna.
Ona řekla:
- Je těžké to slyšet! Marii Petrovna?
Řekl jsem:
- Vy! Vy! Vy! Mami, jsi to ty?
Ona řekla:
- Těžko slyšet. Mluvte odděleně, hláskujte po písmenech.
Řekl jsem:
- Um, uh. Mami, to jsem já. Ona řekla:
- Denisko, jsi to ty?
Řekl jsem:
- Odjíždím zítra v sedm hodin ráno. Naše moskevské letiště je zavřené, takže je vše v pořádku. Nechte pe-a-pe-a ve-es-tre-tit em-e-nya-me!
Ona řekla:
- On-a-re-a-ona-oh!
Řekl jsem:
- No, buď ze-de-o-ro-ve-a!
Ona řekla:
- Zhe-de-u!
A hned mi to došlo! Tady se dá dobře spát. Potichu jsem otevřel plstěné dveře.
Stop!

A oni mě kývli k sobě a uvolnili místo. Bylo mi teplo, ale stísněně a nepohodlně, protože telefon neustále zvonil a žárovka jasně hořela.
Pak jsme do novin napsali velkým písmem: „Stroj nefunguje,“ a mladík zhasl žárovku.
Okamžitě vyskočili a kníratý nahmatal a zašrouboval žárovku.
Vysvětlil jsem jim, co to bylo. Kníratý voják okamžitě řekl:
Výborně, chlapče!
Nyní půjdu s vámi do jakékoli inteligence.
Neopustil tedy své nalezence?
Řekl jsem:
Co máš rád!
Doběhli jsme k bráně číslo dvě a nastoupili do letadla.

A kde bydlis?
Odpověděla jsem.
Řekl:
Alijev! Dluh dobrý obrat si zaslouží další?
Odpověděl z auta:
Mustachioed se na mě usmál:
Posaď se, Denisko, vedle řidiče. Budete vědět, jaký je příjem vojáka.
Řidič se laskavě usmál. Podle mě vypadal jako strýček Míša.
Posaďte se, posaďte se. Pojedu s větrem! řekl chraplavě.
Hned jsem si k němu sedla. V srdci jsem se bavil. To je to, co znamená armáda! S nimi se neztratíte.
Řekl jsem nahlas:
Řádek košíku!
Řidič dal plyn. Spěchali jsme.
