Yalta is not only a popular fashionable resort or a beautiful historical city. This is also a wonderful place where it is convenient and pleasant to relax with the whole family. A significant number of hotels in Yalta provide a whole range of services for families who plan to vacation with children. The most comfortable hotels in Yalta for families with children are those that have at least four stars in their rank. There are quite a lot of such offers in the city itself. The convenience of a family holiday in this type of hotel begins directly from check-in. As a rule, hotels in Yalta, ideal for families with children, have at their disposal a fairly large fenced area where the child can run around for fun. In most cases, this type of hotel has a special children's corner with toys where you can keep your child occupied. If a hotel in Yalta, intended for family vacations, has a swimming pool, then part of it will certainly be occupied by a small children’s “paddling pool”. When choosing hotels in Yalta and planning a vacation with children, you should separately find out about the food features in each accommodation option. If not only breakfast, but also dinner is provided, there should be a specialized separate table for the child or children's dishes should be presented on the menu. Finally, it is worth clarifying the availability of specialized personnel to work with children. If parents decide to go on a long excursion, an ideal hotel for a family vacation should have a nanny who will be able to look after and occupy the child in the absence of mom and dad. When booking a hotel for a family holiday, travelers must notify the hotelier that they plan to check in with a child, so that they can be provided with a crib. In most cases, it is provided free of charge, but it is best to discuss this point in advance. There are several of the most popular hotels in Yalta for a comfortable holiday with children. Among them: “Yalta-Intourist”, “Orenda Premier Hotel”, “Villa Elena” and many others. This type of hotel is especially popular during the high holiday season. The optimal solution to guarantee yourself a suitable room in advance and at the best price is to pre-book the required number of rooms in the selected hotel.
Big Yalta- the largest resort region of the peninsula, a necklace of the best resorts of Crimea, stretching for 70 km between the endless expanse of the Black Sea and the rocky peaks of the Crimean Mountains, clad in broad-leaved and pine forests. The bends of the Yalta coast form bays and coves, where buildings of sanatoriums and boarding houses, modern buildings of resort hotels and spa hotels, charming private houses, ivy-covered noble mansions and palaces in the decoration of landscape parks are scattered as if multi-colored pebbles washed up by the sea.
Over the centuries since its founding, the villages and cities of Greater Yalta, sung in poems and immortalized in the paintings of outstanding painters, have not lost their former beauty and charm, but have acquired an infrastructure worthy of the best resorts in the world.
In Greater Yalta, like nowhere else in Crimea, all areas of resort life are developed. Impressions from a holiday in July
My husband and I went on vacation to Yalta in the second half of July. This month it was hot during the day, the air temperature was above thirty degrees. In the evening it became cool, about 18 degrees. The water in the sea this month is well warmed and pleasant. Since we tolerate heat well, we were quite comfortable. For those who do not tolerate it well, it is better to choose another month for rest. If you still decide to go this month, then you need to stock up on creams, light closed clothing and hats.
Youth recreation
My husband and I went on vacation together and had a wonderful time. In fact, a large number of tourists vacation in Yalta; it will be interesting for any group of vacationers. The city has a lot of entertainment for tourists with children; for young people there are cafes, clubs and restaurants, and for older tourists there are many museums, parks, and health centers.
What to take with you on vacation?
I prefer to travel lightly, since from there you carry full suitcases! Since it’s hot during the day and the sun beats down mercilessly, you need creams and hats. In the evening a cool wind may blow, you may need a jacket. And of course, comfortable shoes for excursions. If you forget some of the necessary things, it doesn’t matter, there are a lot of shops and shopping centers in the city.
Where is the best place to stay?
We settled in the vicinity of Yalta in Miskhor in a guest house. We got to Yalta either by bus or by our own car. From the village to the city it is just over 10 kilometers. I liked the fact that the village and the beach were not so crowded and it was very close to the city. And of course, accommodation not in the city itself is a little cheaper.
What to do at the resort?
Since we did not live in Yalta itself, our entertainment included a beach and a cafe. Therefore, we visited the city of Yalta very often. There is a beautiful embankment with many cafes, restaurants, and show programs. The city has a large number of parks, museums, a zoo, a water park, a dolphinarium and much more; you won’t be bored here.
We took two excursions for ourselves: a ride by cable car to the top of Ai-Petri, from where an amazing view of the central part of the southern coast of Crimea opens. You can also get to the top on foot. Our second excursion was to the Uchan-Su waterfall. Since it was the middle of summer and it was hot, the waterfall was not very big, but the area around was very beautiful. We got to the waterfall on foot.
The beaches in Yalta are pebbly, which is not very convenient, especially for those with small children. But the water is very clean and transparent. There is a beautiful embankment with numerous cafes, restaurants, bars, and entertainment show programs. They sell souvenirs. We rested mainly on Massandra beach. The beach is very lively, free entry, lots of water activities. Discos in the evening.
