Abandoned morgue with corpses. Abandoned morgue. ST. PETERS HOSPITAL MORTUARY, Surrey, UK
Early morning. And I had to wake up at such a time... An important meeting was scheduled for today. I didn't know the reason. I could only guess why I was needed so early. Another casting trip?.. Anything is possible. I couldn’t get my mind off the thought that we had already gone around all the casts. What else could it be? It was a strange feeling... As if I was afraid of something. Although, why be afraid if I spend almost all my weekends and all my free days in such places. After all, stalking is my hobby.
I looked at my watch. 6:34. The meeting was scheduled at 7:30 sharp. I started to fuss, started to rush, because I had to walk at least forty minutes to my destination, and I was still completely not ready. It was heard to such an extent that something fell in the corridor. And as if I hadn’t heard anything, I continued to prepare. She went into her room, opened the third drawer, and took out a small box from it. It is there that I keep my pocket knife, which I always carry with me, you never know... I couldn’t help but remember how I once tore my jeans with this knife, quite by accident.
I quickly changed my clothes, put on my sneakers, threw on my jacket and literally flew out of the apartment, locking it. The elevator didn't work, I had to go down the stairs... Finally, I left the front door. Quickly turning the corner, I walked at a speed I had never walked before. I was in a hurry, although I had quite enough time. The street must have been after rain, because everywhere I stepped there were puddles. This is still okay, but the dirt... Almost new sneakers have turned into something that can hardly be called shoes. Trying to ignore my appearance, I finally went out onto the noisy street and headed towards the meeting place. The meeting place, oddly enough, was a bus stop. This means that we will either go somewhere, or where we are going is not far from it.
Twenty minutes of walking passed and I arrived at the stop. I came early. There was no one here yet. I sat down on the bench, if you can call it that, and stared blankly ahead. For some reason it seemed that we would go exactly there. Although, why... In the morning my head doesn’t cook at all. I was sitting, calmly looking into the distance... When suddenly someone came up from behind and shouted in my ear! I flew away from the stop almost onto the road. And, naturally, that someone was Ilina. My friend, who is also into stalking and most often organizes such trips with me. I grumbled something, to which she only began to smile angrily. It’s that kind of smile that sometimes you just want to punch you in... Because it’s incredibly annoying.
- Well, where are we going? — I asked completely calmly.
“I don’t think you’ll like it there very much,” Ilina answered mysteriously.
- And to be more specific? You know, I don’t like it when something that can be said in a few words is stretched out into a whole story. - I reminded.
The friend grinned, after which she took her PDA out of her pocket and began frantically looking for something in it. Having found that “something,” she turned 90 degrees and stared at the end of the road. Well, of course, how could I not have guessed? This is perhaps the only casting in this area that we have not yet visited. No one knows exactly what this cast was before. Some claim that it is a hospital, some that it is a maternity hospital, and some even start a legend about the morgue. And to be honest, I don’t care what it is. The main thing is not to die of boredom there. Some locals say that no one has ever returned alive from there. After the building was abandoned, of course.
- Do you really want to go there? Remember all the legends about this casting... - I began to intimidate my friend.
- All this is nonsense. You know, I’m a realist,” Ilina mimicked my phrase from the previous dialogue.
I chuckled and walked towards the cast. He was located nearby... Very close. You could say, a couple of steps - and we are there. The building is surrounded by a fence with barbed wire, and apparently you still have to look for a passage. This is upsetting. Although... It’s even more interesting. Ilina walked to my right. We walked and never said a word. Apparently, they were so focused on finding a crawl space. Ten minutes passed and we came close to the fence. And from a distance this place did not seem as scary as it did up close... Five floors, two buildings. There are no windows and no one knows why... Rumor has it that there is a basement. But these are just rumors. We walked around the fence. It was not possible to see the back side of the building, because it went into... The forest, or something. We returned back to the gate, which was locked. That's why it was quite problematic to get inside the casting. Suddenly we saw an old man walking towards us.
- Why do you want to go there? Do you know that no one has ever returned from there alive?
- What do you care? - I suddenly became bolder.
- Oh, young people... You were never taught manners. Anyway, okay. How are you going to get in there?
- We think about it ourselves. Rumor has it that there is one passage here, but it’s underground,” Ilina answered.
- Exactly. I know about this one... There are rumors that it is located deep in the forest. I can take you there if you want...” the last sentence was said with an obviously bad purpose.
Ilina and I both understood this. They began to slowly retreat and ran... Into the forest. They thought that this was the only normal place where they could hide from the old maniac. And along the way we ran into the very depths... But we are masters in this. No matter how many times we found ourselves in the forest, we always went far. So it is this time. I caught my breath and then came up with an idea:
- Since there is a passage underground and here in the forest, that means we need to start looking for it.
Ilina nodded. In my opinion, she didn’t care how to get into the cast, the main thing was to get in. It was almost the same for me.
We began to wander throughout the forest, in search of this treasured underground passage. After a ten-minute search, we finally came across a hatch located near an old, dried oak tree. I opened the lid and looked inside. Darkness, complete darkness. And we only had a flashlight in my phone, and even then it was bad... Well, we should be glad that at least we have some. There were no stairs leading into the depths of the dungeon, so I had to jump down. Naturally, I was the first to jump, because Ilina is always very afraid of places where you can’t see anything, it’s damp and the atmosphere is generally depressing. She jumped in after me, muttering something under her breath.
Silence and darkness reigned. I turned on the flashlight on my old Nokia and we slowly walked forward. I illuminated everything under my feet, everything above my head, the walls and generally the entire dungeon. There were a lot of rats, Ilina constantly squealed from their unexpected appearance. However, they were very friendly, and to be more specific, they didn’t bite. On the contrary, when they saw us, they ran away in all directions, as long as we, such giants compared to them, were not nearby. It was calming. And now we have already passed the first turn. After it there was a staircase leading deeper, and a little further there was a creepy slope, which we, naturally, did not notice. We were walking, everything seemed to be fine, but suddenly we flew down... At first there was a feeling that we had fallen into some kind of hole or, even worse, a trap set by someone... Unknown. Ugh. With every second it became more and more terrible to be in such a place. We didn’t even know how to get out of here, we walked wherever our eyes looked...
Suddenly there was a terrible roar. All over the dungeon. I shuddered and Ilina almost fainted. There was nowhere to hide. We went further, trying to make as little noise as possible. Unfortunately, I often came across stones that were impossible to see, because I was shining only forward. And yet I wonder who could be in this dungeon, except us and, of course, the rats?..
I noticed a hole in the wall. Big one. Apparently, this wall has collapsed over time. That's what I thought until I looked inside and saw... The staircase to the top. I beckoned Ilina with my hand, she looked at me in surprise and came up. We both, joyful and cheerful, trudged along this stupid staircase, which in some places collapsed when we stepped on the unstable steps. By the way, the stairs were wooden. At any moment it could collapse completely, which is what I was afraid of. I don’t know what was on Ilina’s mind. We climbed and climbed and the stairs seemed endless... But we still got out. The room into which the sun's rays penetrated, it was unclear from where, it had no windows. There was only one door that had practically fallen off, and behind it was a pavilion. I immediately realized that we had penetrated the casting point. It was either a hospital or a morgue. I couldn't tell right away. Only with time...
The pavilion was a veritable ruin. The only staircase that led to the second floor collapsed in places over time. It was not clear how to get upstairs. The entrance door to this abandoned place was boarded up and filled with various furniture. We still have to look hard for a way out of here. But that comes later. Right now we were focused on finding the stairs. I really wanted to walk around this entire building, I wanted to find something unusual... Idiot hopes. They always accompany both of us on such “hikes.” And most importantly, they never make excuses... I approached the table, which was unclear how it had survived in such an atmosphere. There were various documents on it. The first one that came across was a photograph of a person, with his name, surname, date of birth, and... Date of death written on it! We were in an abandoned morgue and now we knew it for sure. I was already staggering. Fear took over me more and more. I wanted to leave here as soon as possible, but there was no opportunity...
- What are we going to do now? — I asked the only question that worried me now.
“We’re looking for windows...” Ilina answered.
At first I didn't understand her answer. Then it only dawned on me that, apparently, she wanted to jump out of the window. Well, yes, it was the only way out. Or maybe not the only one?..
- Right away? Maybe we can go around the rooms? What if there is a staircase... Or a door... Any exit... - I began to think.
- Can. The main thing is not to stay in one place,” my friend correctly noted.
It suddenly became dark. It was as if someone had turned off the light. As always, the phone died at the most inopportune moment. And I didn’t get a connection on him here. You can guess why... I had to go with my intuition. It felt like we were wandering in circles.
- Useless. There’s clearly something wrong going on here...” Ilina began to despair.
- Yeah, I agree. And now what are we going to do... - I fell silent abruptly. I began to listen to rustling sounds coming from somewhere ahead. I looked closer and finally saw a slightly open door. She approached quietly... The sounds became audible more clearly. They were creepy, similar to someone’s slurping sound, and then my fantasy took over... I shook my head, as if driving these idiotic thoughts out of myself.
I was already starting to move away from this door, when suddenly... I stepped on a fragment. The sound echoed throughout the entire pavilion. This means that the strange “slurping” sound was also heard where the strange “slurping” came from... Moreover, it immediately subsided.
“We’re finished...” I said quietly.
There was nowhere to run. Nothing was visible in the darkness. And then some kind of feverish attack came over me, or something... I ran back to the table. I don’t know how I found him in such darkness... I took a strange piece of iron, one might even say a stick, that was lying on him and confidently walked towards the door. Ilina was already in a state of semi-fainting, but I dragged her with me. Well, don't leave her there...
I opened the door. For some reason, the fear completely disappeared. The “stick” was ready, and so was I. It was brighter in this room than in the pavilion and I could see some cabinets with giant drawers. Stupid thoughts came into my head again... And in the middle of the room there was a table. There were a lot of boxes on it, making it difficult to see what was in the corner behind them. I walked around the table. There were no signs of life here. The boxes were overflowing with syringes... I also noticed a strange green liquid under the table. A disgusting sight. I turned away and stared at Ilina, waiting for her reaction. She was shaking so much that it was scary to watch. The face is pale, there is fear in the eyes...
“P-p-p... B-b...” the friend couldn’t even pronounce the word normally.
I turned around to face another door that was in this room. It was made of iron, I opened it with difficulty. Suddenly, Ilina came to her senses and began to have verbal diarrhea:
- Damn, really, why did we come here? Why are you opening this door? Do you want to die? Nonsense... We need to get out of here, we need to get out of here somehow...
- Calm down. “I think this door leads upstairs,” I said calmly.
And indeed. The door led upstairs to the second floor. I slowly began to climb the steps, looking around... It smelled like something rotten. There was a similar smell in the pavilion, but here it was much stronger. I regretted that I had not taken a gas mask with me, or a respirator... There were bones lying on the steps. Bones, skulls... Yes, apparently a not very good fate befell this abandoned morgue... Now it’s clear why it was abandoned. I also heard strange sounds. This time it was not a slurping sound, but... A howl or something. Well, or something similar to it. Dogs?.. No, it was so strange that dogs simply couldn’t make such a sound... My hands began to tremble. I was so focused on the corridor on the second floor that I almost tripped over the flask lying under my feet. There was something written on it. I picked her up from the floor, turned her around and threw her safely back onto the floor. The language in which those words were written was not at all clear to me.
It was somewhat reminiscent of Spanish, and on the other hand, Czech... Or maybe it’s not a morgue at all, but some kind of laboratory? Or something similar...
Then I noticed that Ilina was missing. A few seconds ago she was still standing next to me, but now she was not here. Wait, a few seconds?.. I most likely stood there in my thoughts for about five minutes. This is usually what happens. But now I was worried about something completely different. Where could your friend have gone? If she had come down the stairs, I would have noticed it, despite the fact that I was in thought. So, the second floor corridor. I followed it.
There was everything on the floor: syringes, flasks, papers, and once I even came across a fallen, now broken, couch. God, something terrible was clearly happening here... And probably a lot of people didn’t have time to leave here, which means... Once again lost in my thoughts, I safely crashed into the wall. Something fell behind the wall. I felt uneasy again. I went into some room. Apparently, this used to be the “director’s” office. Or there should have been... There were documents scattered everywhere. The same as in the pavilion. First name, last name, date of birth, date of death... I started rummaging through these papers, without knowing why, and I got very carried away. A lot of unfamiliar names that didn’t interest me at all... And then suddenly this happened! I was in a stupor for five minutes, looking at the document and not believing my eyes.
My name. My last name. Date of birth... And date of death. Just today! I had no words.
Suddenly Ilina entered the room.
- So here you are! Sorry, I lost my PDA, so I went looking... But I couldn’t reach you, it was like you were in the astral plane.
I continued to sit and stare at the paper I had dug out.
Ilina sat down next to her in bewilderment and stared at the leaflet. After reading the last sentence, she dropped her PDA from her hands.
- Uh... What is this? This... - my friend couldn’t find the words.
“But the main thing is today’s date.” What the... - I said.
I tore this paper. All this was reminiscent of some kind of crazy dream... First, a strange roar in the dungeon, then a “chomping” outside the door, then a howl, and now a paper confirming that I was dead. Amazing!
- Maybe we can go up to the fifth floor? They say that there is one large pavilion there...” Ilina suggested.
- Went. - I agreed. There’s nothing left to lose anyway...
We found the stairs incredibly quickly. There was nothing lying on it, it did not collapse when we climbed it. Now it all seemed even strange. The doors leading to the third and fourth floors were iron. And to enter them, it was necessary to enter some kind of code. There was also such a door on the fifth floor, but there was no need to enter the code. It opened on its own as soon as we approached it. Only there was no large pavilion behind it. A series of narrow corridors leading to rooms. And there are three of them. At first there was an idea to split up, but it was too crazy. So we went to the second corridor, which was in the middle. Darkness reigned again, but a light bulb shone dimly near the door.
Periodically it blinked and the light disappeared for a while. It didn't matter much because the corridor ran stupidly straight. There was a puddle at the door. I opened the door, stepped over the puddle and entered the room... Naturally, there were no windows. Ilina came in after me and the door slammed. There was no handle. Exit from here, now, too.
“Now it’s clear why no one has ever returned from here alive...” Ilina said sadly.
“Now it’s clear that we won’t return from here either.” - I said even more sadly.
Both fell silent. There were no thoughts. Just emptiness... All around. And inside. I glanced at the closet, which was placed very strangely. Although, everything is strange here. Even us... I opened the closet door, hoping to find at least something there. I looked inside... It was something like a secret room. I went inside without waiting for Ilina. If she needs it, she’ll come in herself. The room was round in shape. The usual papers and documents were lying around... The friend also entered this room and began to look around. Her gaze fell on the boxes that were to my left. Incomprehensible movements were behind them...
Ilina tugged at my sleeve. I turned 180 degrees and we hid behind a pile of huge boxes. Now we just sat there waiting to see what would happen next. We were already ready for anything. It's your own fault...
We heard hoarse breathing to our right. I almost jumped out of surprise, I kept silent about Ilina... IT appeared before us. Former man. And now - an almost rotten, fetid corpse. This creature took Ilina by the collar, lifted her up, and... I didn’t look any further. I sat in tears, knowing that I couldn’t do anything and regretting that I didn’t have time to save my friend... My best friend. The only person who was dear to me. Through tears, I looked at this brat, this monster, and then at my friend’s body... Lifeless. With a pierced throat... In a pool of blood. I wanted to scream in horror, but I couldn’t...
A couple of minutes later I fell somewhere. It took forever to fall, although it was 3 minutes. I woke up in wet sweat in bed. Ilina was lying next to me. There was a stitch on her neck...

I'm Dasha, I'm 14 years old. I want to tell my terrible story, but don’t think that this is all a blatant lie.
Once, when I was 13 and a half years old, I could not even think that I would become so curious. My friend and I loved everything mystical and scary. My best friend's name is Vika. And such friends are Nastya, Katya and Alina. So we all Nastya, Katya, Alina, Vika and I gathered for the construction site. We took a pocket flashlight - 7 pieces. But why so much, we didn’t think.
We walk near the old hospital, it is more than 100 years old. Some girl about 16 jumped out of this hospital and ran to us. We saw this girl for the first time in our lives. She had blue hair and was covered in piercings. We almost screamed in fear ourselves. She almost knocked me off my feet. She immediately jumped out onto the street strashno.com and stones flew from all the windows. We got scared and ran away as best we could. Then after 20 minutes we returned back to that building.
We walked very quietly. That girl (her name was Karina) was in that hospital for 1 day. And something was tormenting her. The next day we looked for this hospital, and it turned out that it was a hospital. We went there so calm and quiet. The current moved to the part where the morgue was located, we simply could not breathe - everything there stank so much. I looked under one blanket, strashno.com, and there lay the body of a boy. That girl Karina took his hand and put it on her heart - and after a couple of minutes the boy began to breathe. We looked at all this with huge eyes. The boy was about 16-17 years old. His name was Nikita. We raised him up and asked:
- Nikita, how long did you lie here?
He said:
- Look at my hand.
I was shocked that the boy died 7 years ago, and he was taken to the morgue when he was 15 years old. We didn't understand what kind of joke this was. Suddenly something fell and we rushed to the exit. And before leaving the morgue, we saw a girl hanged, although she had not been there before. We rushed to the other door. And here is information about the boy, what he looked like: Black hair, bangs covering his left eye. Piercings all over the face. And there is a scar on my hand from strashno.com cuts. We thought he was crazy. But in this we were greatly mistaken. As we walked along the corridor, we saw blood on the walls, various cones, syringes with blood. We all got goosebumps. While we were looking for another way out, we went down to the very basement, where the connection was very weak. And even the phone barely worked. We saw 500 corpses, if not more. They all seemed to be alive. And they’ve all been lying in the morgue for over 50 years, but they look like they’re 19 years old. We were really shocked by this. When we found a way out, we ran away from that hospital.
After 5 days we learned that maniacs lived in this hospital and killed children under 19 years of age. They were found dead and without eyes. But in that place the killings continue to this day. When we pass by this hospital, we hear the howl of strashno.com and the scream of the people who are dying there.
The morgue is the place where the deceased spends his last days before being buried or cremated. People are afraid of morgues. A visit to the morgue is the worst thing that can happen in a person’s life. If we talk about morgues that are no longer functioning, but still exist with their crumbling infrastructure and the ghosts of people who died for unknown reasons, then goosebumps immediately run through the body from fear.
St. Mary's Hospital Mortuary, UK
This hospital also served as a shelter, but is now closed and boarded up. The hospital had a special color palette, the same for all rooms, even the morgue. The table in the photo looks like it's waiting for its next corpse.
Harold Wood Hospital Mortuary, Essex, UK
This place looks like the forensic experts abandoned it as a result of emergency layoffs. According to photographer WG: "Unfortunately, the only things worth photographing in this hospital are the morgue plates and body refrigerators."
St. Peter's Hospital Mortuary, Surrey, UK
In French, “morgue” means “to look solemnly, to challenge.” This word became very relevant in the middle of the 15th century. At that time, bodies were laid out in morgues for public identification.
Mortuary at Cambridge Military Hospital
This morgue is incredibly broken. There is a telephone on the table, very symbolically. It seems that someone is about to call.
Unknown Mortuary, UK
These are not bakery ovens! These are refrigerated cabinets waiting for their “visitors”.
Unknown Mortuary, Germany
The urban explorer and photographer who captured this creepy image says: “I've visited a lot of morgues and I have to say these are truly the creepiest places. You never know what happened there before you arrived, and it can’t help but worry.”
Ellis Island Mortuary, New York
More than 3,000 souls died at Ellis Island Hospital. The photographer who took this photo came to the island in 2008. He visited an abandoned hospital, namely the mental health ward, the infectious disease ward, and the morgue. Without a doubt, this is one of the creepiest attractions you can find.

Fans of industrial tourism claim that they go to abandoned buildings solely for adrenaline and the spirit of post-apocalypticism, but psychologists are confident that a fashionable hobby can also signal serious problems for extreme sports enthusiasts.
Each city has its own hobby: Peter, who lives under a leaden sky, is a fan of rooftops, Nsk, which does not shine with architecture, holds his breath and looks at panoramic photos of his beloved from Slava Helio, the worker of Kemerovo is actively interested in... "abandoned buildings."
Abandoned morgue
There are a good dozen unfinished, abandoned and crumbling buildings in the capital of Kuzbass - the city, as in Soviet times, continues to “give coal”, now without being distracted by other infrastructure. As a result, in Kemerovo itself and its surroundings there are a lot of social street children: abandoned kindergartens, unfinished seven-story (!) morgues, even collapsing hydroelectric power stations. Actually, Novosibirsk would have had the same gloomy situation if it weren’t for the “merchant spirit” of the millions of small companies that populated the cold factory floors. Kemerovo ruins are filled with homeless people, condoms and... children's coffins.
Appeals like: “We want to organize an outing, a team of 4-5 people, no younger than 15 years old, sports training, experience of at least two explored objects…” regularly appear in local social media communities, which enjoy stable interest from young Kemerovo residents. Among the latter there are both beginners and “gurus”: “Dwinx, Morgue is the very beginning. If you want, I’ll take you there, there are no corpses, just a dump of used condoms, but there were fragments of a human body” (quoted verbatim - ed.).
As stalkers say, the most popular in Kemerovo is "Dwinx" ("Titanic" or "Honey") - an unfinished building on Voroshilov Street. In the 90s, it was assumed that the morphological building of the Kemerovo State Medical Academy would be based here, but due to lack of funding, the construction of a building for future doctors was stopped. People's love for it is explained by the fact that "Med" is located near residential buildings, it is not difficult to get inside, and there is actually no security. Also, those interested in industrial tourism are well aware of the long-term construction projects on Volgogradskaya Street (one of them is the legendary forensic building, popularly known as the “Abandoned Morgue”), on Sibiryakov-Gvardeytsev (between Tereshkova and Mirnaya streets), on Stroiteley Avenue (behind the Institute of Food Industry) , plus the Aurora cinema located there, which is being renovated (according to official data).
According to local “experts,” in order to get into most properties, it is enough to simply climb into the unblinded windows of the second floors, or the day before “come quietly with a nail puller, free the front door from nails so that the boards can be moved aside and the next day you can enter without unnecessary noise.” there". For what? Everyone has their own reasons: someone needs a place for an extreme date, an intricate photo shoot, rope jumping, a quest, someone stupidly craves adventure on the fifth point or a base for banal drinking, but, apparently, there are also lovers of less rosy hobbies. This is evidenced by the mutilated corpses of domestic animals found in “abandoned” buildings.
According to one of the Kemerovo researchers of “abandonment”, lyceum student Georgy Kuznetsov, for him personally, visiting an uninhabited, crumbling building brings “primarily aesthetic pleasure”:
Georgy Kuznetsov
When you come across an unfinished or abandoned building, you feel as if you are immersed in the atmosphere of the time when it was built or abandoned by people. In such buildings, time seems to flow differently, slower. I also get a little adrenaline rush when visiting abandoned buildings alone.
There is plenty to get adrenaline from: in eyewitness accounts there are references to absolutely terrible artifacts like “a swimming pool in an old kindergarten filled with blood.” Let us leave truthfulness to the conscience of the speaker. Fortunately, “monuments” of ordinary mismanagement are more common - “medical” long-term construction sites are full of empty containers for medicines, undisposed waste (for example, the condoms mentioned above, which could be used as urinals in hospitals). In others, homeless people set up their homes, and antisocial elements organize simple leisure activities.
- Was it true that fragments of a human body were found in an abandoned morgue?
Georgy Kuznetsov: Yes, indeed, fragments of human/animal bodies can be found on various abandoned buildings, not only in the Morgue. But I almost never came across them. They usually don't last long because there are stray dogs walking around there looking for something to eat. Well, my eyesight is bad, I can’t see everything. And in the photographs from the Morgue, taken by one person in the fall, there was a pool of blood, a bone (probably a human tibia) and a sacrum. Also in the second Morgue building in the basement there is a child’s coffin, which was probably brought there just like that.
Citizens who are keen on “abandonment” sincerely do not see anything special in their expeditions: well, let’s go, take a photo, grab some adrenaline. Meanwhile, experts are not so optimistic. Novosibirsk Family and perinatal psychologist, senior lecturer at the Department of Psychology and Anthropology of the New Siberian Institute Ekaterina Egorova believes that “a person’s constant desire to visit abandoned houses could theoretically be associated with some kind of psychological trauma or with a difficult emotional state.” However, Ekaterina emphasized, in order to understand why this desire may be associated with a particular person, it is necessary to talk with him.
By listening to a specialist, we will refrain from making sweeping diagnoses for lovers of “abandonment”. After all, there is an optimistic view that industrial tourism is the archeology of the future, so what's wrong with some Indian Jones starting now?
Where is Silent Hill in Siberia?
Omsk
Children's Psychiatric Hospital
The building was abandoned in the 90s. The windows on the first floor are covered with iron bars, but if you get into the building, eyewitnesses say, there is something to see. True, homeless people periodically move into the building.
Unfinished dormitory
A dorm in an open field is a favorite place for encounter fighters, patrolmen, paintball players and other counter-strike fighters. There is no security.
Sports complex
Large two-story building with a swimming pool and a basement. There is no one inside, the windows and doors are barred. Quite often there are police patrols in the area.
Tuberculosis dispensary No. 3
Now the building is not in use, but is under police surveillance and guarded by a guard with a dog. Plus, there are some unfriendly locals hanging around. However, to those who have passed all the obstacles, rooms will open up, filled with a thick layer of pills, deposits of medical records, instruments, books and posters.
Tuberculosis dispensary building
A small one-story building - empty and not dirty, where you can find funny medical gizmos. There is also a swimming pool and bathrooms. The downside is the same aggressive locals.
Buildings of the mental hospital named after Solodnikov
Two buildings of the Omsk Clinical Psychiatric Hospital are apparently patiently awaiting renovation. The proximity to a functioning mental health center gives some peace of mind regarding the visits of drug addicts and “gamblers” here. For eligible persons, admission is free during business hours.
Sanatorium-preventorium "Energy"
From time to time, the four-story building of the ex-sanatorium changes owners, who try (albeit without enthusiasm) to bring life back to it. The building is empty, but it is maintained - for example, broken windows are repaired from time to time.
Tomsk
City Hospital No. 1
Since City Hospital No. 1 moved, the fate of the orphaned, century-old building with a rich history has been in limbo. According to those who have been there, the ex-hospital is guarded by homeless guards who work rather sluggishly for food and shelter. Therefore, if you wish, and if you don’t make any noise, you can walk through the entire building and take interesting photos.
Novosibirsk
Design bureau of the Comintern plant
This darkly majestic house with columns among the gray workshops of the industrial zone has long excited stalker passions. But the privacy was violated - about five years ago the building was put up for reconstruction, and then construction began in earnest.
Polyclinic of the Sibselmash plant
Another “Stalinist Empire” building, known among local lovers of “abandonment” as Silent Hill. A passenger elevator was preserved inside for a long time, but the monumental staircase was always the hit of the adventurers' program.
Test site of the Research Institute of Energy
A delight for fans of cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic fiction. As, indeed, many things in the vicinity of CHPP-5. During Soviet times, the test site was intensively involved in testing insulation, power line supports, and other things.
Sanatorium "Niva"
A thoroughly ruined three-story ex-sanatorium in the near suburbs of Novosibirsk
For a long time it did not attract the attention of stalkers, which is somewhat strange, because the object was not guarded.
Mochishchensky Palace of Culture
The abandoned cultural center has lost part of the roof and flights of stairs, so colleagues strongly advise thrill-seekers to be careful and “watch the ceiling so that the slabs that have not completely collapsed do not crush them.”
Iskitim (NSO)
Unfinished hospital
Perhaps the most famous “abandoned building” of the Novosibirsk region is the eight-story unfinished surgical building of the hospital. Stalkers appreciate the beautiful view from the hospital, but emphasize that you should not go there alone: the local outcasts are too harsh.
Barnaul
City four-year school
The building, built at the beginning of the last century, is now in disrepair. The place is easily accessible, as a result, here you can meet a lot of companies with radically opposite goals - from homeless people to police officers.
Krasnoyarsk
Former administration of the Krasnoyarsk river fleet
Although the three-story administrative building with outbuildings was abandoned in 1999, it remains in good condition thanks to the current security. There are persistent rumors that under the building there is a flooded bomb shelter for 400 (!) people.
Former management of the Divnogorsk motor transport enterprise
The building, located on the road to the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, is now, alas, being prepared for demolition. And at one time, local stalkers carried armfuls of... gas masks from there.
Irkutsk
Former dining room
Not long ago, Irkutsk stalkers lost a beautiful building: the dining room, amazingly preserved on the outside and practically falling apart inside, was dismantled. And at one time, artifacts of the Soviet past were found there - books and signs like “manager” - eternal souvenirs for friends.
Water and wastewater treatment facility
A very interesting place for a stalker - a water supply and sewerage facility behind the Lower Embankment - will probably soon face a similar fate. Previously, it was possible to go down the hardware stairs to the bypass channels. However, the platforms below were always rusty and fraught with trouble.

Something is chasing me, but I can’t understand what it is, I can’t see my friends, I can’t see the white light, this creature is chasing me everywhere. I can’t get out of here... (From the last notes of the previous guard).
I was walking with my friend Petka along the street, we had only one task, to visit an abandoned morgue. All the homeless people who lived there left that place immediately! As soon as we arrived at this place, fear came over us. We were confused by the terrible appearance of the hospital and found a half-torn diary lying on the ground on the street, the following words were written there...
My name is Tom Johnson, 1969, I came to work as a daytime security guard at the hospital morgue, but I think it was in vain. Sometimes I hear quiet footsteps along the corridor, sometimes I heard someone scratching at my door, I decided not to look. The next day I heard footsteps. But these were not employees, because many were at lunch and many had nothing to do in the morgue. When I was getting ready to go home, I heard someone drumming with unbearable force on the door. Psycho? Don't think! A psycho is not so capable of this. Although, according to patient statistics, only one is capable of this, he was in a coma after an accident. It broke into me before I even had time to write anything, I hid quickly and it found me.
Hmmm... Petka, this is not a joke. Yes, no joke on the minibus. DTPee. - said Petka.
- Don't yell! Even though I’m afraid to get out of here, we’ve gone too far to the hospital.
We found the inscription MORTUARY.
We went there without taking flashlights, because we found a power supply and thus we turned on the light. We went to the morgue. We were not surprised that there were coffins and skeletons lying everywhere, some even had parts of their flesh on them. Although the morgue is a cold room.
Here we found only the last torn records of the previous guard (see records at the very top).
We almost fainted from this. The notes were torn and even covered in blood.
Then we heard the sounds of fireworks exploding in the next room.
We tried to find something without even knowing what.
We started looking too late when something started scratching at the door. The door was iron. It beat, beat, beat and never quite hit. We found an inscription that was being written right now. "You are not on your territory; for this you will be punished!"
We heard explosions outside the door. Why the hell are they making explosives in a hospital? But It blew up the door and rushed towards us like a crazy person who was in a coma after an accident. It looked like he was injured after an accident. He started tearing at my friend, I abandoned him, I couldn’t save him in any way. I ran away from that place and began to look for a way out of the morgue, like the labyrinth of a minotaur, only in reverse. I heard him running, banging his crutch on the floor. Yes, this was the participant in that accident!
The solution has been revealed. But my cherished dream is to escape from this place as soon as possible. I saw him in the distance and he saw me too, he ran at me like an angry bear, who, in addition, yells like a psychopath.
I rushed and found a way out, but It jumped out in front of me and rushed at me. I bent down sharply and he ran under me and, scratching on the floor, he wanted to stop.
He ended up in a refrigerator where it was minus degrees, and the door slammed in his face. Thank God he didn't have any firecrackers.
I left this place at exactly the right time. They wanted to demolish this hospital.
There were also past hospital workers there, but I will never forget this place and my beloved friend... I asked the workers about the person with the accident, they said that he was a complete psychopath, of his kind, there were only 147 people like him on the planet, but they kept silent about the trouble with the guards...
