Circe
Circe(Kirka) - kćer Perseide i Heliosa, boga sunca, moćne čarobnice, nimfe ostrva Eya.
Circe i Scylla
Scylla(Skilla) - nimfa, ćerka božice Hekate i Forkisa.
Sipala je tečnost zelenu poput smaragda u more.

Praupner.
Odisej, mali Telegon i Circe
„Moskovski kicoši i cirkusi
Privucite podrugljive poglede!"
- A. S. Puškin, "Evgenije Onjegin", VII.
Circe(Latinizirani oblik grčkog imena Kirk, drugi grčki. Κίρκη ) - u grčkoj mitologiji, kćer Heliosa i Perzeida (ili Perzijanaca) Oceanida. Prema nekima, kćerka Apolona i Efeje.
Vještica. Srodan Hekati, boginji mjeseca i, poput Hekate i Medeje, predstavnici čarobnjaštva.
Kirk i Odisej
Protagonist Eshilove satirske drame "Kirka" (fr.309-311 Radt) i niza komedija.
Glave, kosa, glas i cijeli njihov izgled
Postali su svinje. Samo je um ostao kao prije.
Plačući, Circe ih je otjerala u štalu i bacila u hranu
To su žir i jednostavne i jestive i travnate bobice -
Hrana bačena u blato usnulim svinjama.
(Homer "Odiseja", pesma 10)
U šolju ćete pomešati piće i sipati napitke.
Međutim, to vas neće očarati. Neće dozvoliti ranije
Lijek koji ću vam dati. Zapamtite detaljno:
Cercea priprema otrovan napitak
Znate šta: uzmite ljude i idite istraživati ostrvo, a ja ću ostati ovdje i gledati brod.

Dosso Dossi - Circe i njeni favoriti
Dosso Dossi - Melissa (Circe)
