We inform you about the special traffic rules that will be implemented in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah during December 31, 2019 and January 1, 2020:
As the emirate prepares to meet New Year with an attempt to break two Guinness World Records for the longest pyrotechnic show and drone display, access to Al Maryan Island will be restricted from 11:00 am on 31 December.
The only vehicles allowed access are taxis, Uber, public transport and private vehicles presenting a unique badge sticker (Rixos Bab Al Bahr management will provide on request for their guests).
At 23:00, all major roads leading to Al Maryan Island will be completely closed. This means that after this time, no vehicles will be able to reach the hotels until the roads are reopened around 03:00 hours on January 1, 2020.

Rooms at the Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort delight at first sight - huge, beautiful, with modern furniture. Designers organically combined two styles - oriental and high-tech. The basic category of rooms is deluxe.
Care for the guests is visible in everything. For example, the room must have a kettle and a tea set. In addition to tea leaves, coffee, cream and sugar, it includes stevia. This pleasantly surprises not only people leading a healthy lifestyle and dieting girls, but parents of allergic children.
Tourists with a child are usually offered a choice of a room with either one extra-large bed and one extra, or two large beds. Usually parents choose the first option. Moreover, if a child is under 8-10 years old, as a rule, after a few days they are asked to remove the extra bed - it only takes up space while all three guests are quietly accommodated on the main bed.
The room also has a standard set of furniture, safe, air conditioning, hairdryer, TV, iron and board. The only caveat is that there is no outlet for a hair dryer in the bathroom (only for an electric shaver), and there is no mirror in the room. Therefore, you have to dry and style your hair while looking at the TV screen.
All equipment in the room is only from leading, well-established brands.

Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort Spa is located 16 km from the airport, almost on the border with Ajman. Grocery stores and pharmacies are within walking distance. Nearest shopping center located in Ajman - go to it about one and a half kilometers.
Partially children's entertainment can be found in Sharjah, but tourists tend to go to Dubai for the main entertainment program.
