Montenegro in autumn is a thrill! When is the best time to go on vacation to Montenegro? What to see in Montenegro in autumn
We rested in lovely Tivat from August 28 to September 5. We were very afraid about the weather, but we were extremely lucky. All week it was about 31 degrees Celsius and almost always sunny, only once in the evening it rained for five minutes. And on the day of departure the weather turned bad. The water was really good all week (about 26 degrees) - not fresh milk, but comfortable for swimming, even in the morning. There was never a storm during the holiday. But this may be because we were in the bay... So for those who like to bask in the sun and splash in the sea, the weather is simply beautiful!!
In September of this year we vacationed with our child in Montenegro (Rafailovici). I liked both the holiday itself and the weather. For two weeks the weather was consistently warm. Of course temperatures are above 32 degrees. It was no longer there, but since we are with a small child, these temperatures were just right for us. The water was warm and you could swim as much as you wanted. There are significantly fewer people compared to August and this makes the holiday calmer. There was no crowding noise either on the beach or in the city. My opinion is that holidays during this period are extremely favorable for families with small children.
We vacationed with a friend in Montenegro in mid-September 2013. Of the 12 days of rest, most of them were spent in Kotor. This period is considered the end of the season and there are many advantages: on most beaches there were few people and sun loungers were free, although during the season this is a paid service, and they said that entrance to some beaches was also paid.
The weather during this period is very changeable. As a rule, it is very warm during the day, it is very comfortable to sunbathe, the sun leaves an even tan. The temperature was either 20 or 28, but a couple of times it was like putting on a jacket. The evenings are cool, and it rains most often in the evening or at night. The water is warm, it definitely felt like 22-24 degrees. Sometimes it was stormy, then there was no time for swimming. At such a time, it is better to go on excursions, there is something to see there.
In the first half of September 2015, I was on vacation in Budva (Montenegro). The weather was sunny and hot. Although the temperature throughout the day remained above 30 degrees, it was easily tolerated and the heat was not annoying, most likely due to the proximity of the sea. At the same time, the water in the sea was so warm that you didn’t feel cool when swimming. It rained once in 14 days and that was at night. But after it, the air temperature did not drop and it was still hot, but the water became a little cooler and a little less comfortable (below 21 degrees). Summer flew away from Budva, and rain and autumn greeted home.
We rested for two weeks in the second half of September. Immediately when we arrived, it seemed like we were in paradise and eternal summer, but then we cooled down a little. Because it rained often and there were cold nights. We lived in a house in the mountains, so it was cool in the mornings. The temperature was not specifically measured, but it felt like it dropped to 10 degrees.
It rained for two days, then the temperature reached 35 degrees for 3-4 days, then it rained again. But the sea was very warm, so we had time to swim and sunbathe. In general, a swimsuit with a sundress and a light jacket with jeans came in handy. But when we left, so that it wouldn’t be so offensive, there was a strong storm with rain.
Autumn Montenegro has many advantages over the summer version. The daytime temperature, which at the peak of the season exceeds +30 o C, drops to a comfortable +22-27 o C. The salty Adriatic Sea cools down slowly, so in September and October it is almost as warm as in summer: on average +20-23 oS.
Due to the temperature difference between sea and land, the coast is shrouded in haze in summer. In autumn, the difference smoothes out, the air becomes transparent and clean, there is no “hellish stuffiness”, which is often complained about in July and August. There are plenty of fruits all around - figs, grapes, tangerines, kiwis, pomegranates fall into your hands completely free of charge. And most importantly, with the departure of the bulk of tourists, prices decrease. cheaper on average by half. The closer to the end of October, the more favorable the price for housing.

A little fly in the ointment
Holidays in Montenegro in the fall also have their pitfalls - otherwise no one would leave this paradise until winter.
- Autumn weather is unpredictable - cloudy days, light rain and even downpours are possible. Be sure to take umbrellas and raincoats with you.
- In the evening it becomes quite cool, so you will have to add a warm sweater or jacket, trousers, socks, and sneakers to the usual “resort” set.
- With the end of the summer season, life in small coastal towns comes to a standstill. For some this is a huge plus. But if you still don’t mind spending the evening at a disco or brightening up your leisure time with shopping, choose a large resort - Budva or Bar. There is always something to do here.
- In September, tour desks are still open at full capacity, but by October they close. If you plan to see the country, you will have to travel independently by public transport or rent a car. Both options, although associated with additional hassle, will save you a lot of money in the long run.
- It is warmest in the fall in Ulcinj, the southernmost and sunniest city on the Montenegrin coast, near the border with. The resort is famous for its excellent sandy coastline. But there are also a lot of inconveniences: the beaches are located far from housing (at least 1.5 km), and you need to be especially careful in the water - with the slightest storm, dangerous whirlpools arise here. Excursions in Ulcinj are scarce even in summer, not to mention during the high season.
So, lovers of heat, crowded parties and organized excursions are better off choosing another destination or waiting until next summer. Those who value peace, an abundance of fruits, comfortable temperatures, and are not afraid of independent travel will definitely enjoy Montenegro in the fall. Below is a little more detail about tourist places where it is definitely more pleasant than in the summer.
Botanical Garden Milocer
How to get there: by bus Budva-Petrovac, which runs every half hour, and sometimes more often. Ticket price is 1.5-2 euros. Travel time is 10-15 minutes.
Six kilometers from Budva lies a real sea of greenery - the Milocer Botanical Garden. Once upon a time, representatives of the Serbian royal dynasty of Karadjordjevics walked along the local alleys. And even now the rich and famous admire the magnificent park from the windows of the luxurious hotel-island of Sveti Stefan, located just 500 meters away.
In addition to Mediterranean conifers, Milocher is full of exotic tropical plants imported from Asia, America and Africa. Stone arches and grottoes add special chic to the garden.
Convenient paths lead to the embankment, framed by cypresses and olive trees, as well as to the elite Royal Beach. During the season, it can only be used by hotel clients; for non-resident holidaymakers, the price ranges from 75 to 120 euros. The price includes the rental of two sun loungers and two towels. By the end of September, no one takes money for entry, so everyone can relax like a king. True, without a sunbed.
By the way, from September onwards St. Stephen itself is allowed, although not for free, but at half price: 10 euros versus 20 in the summer.
Walled city of Kotor
How to get there: by bus Budva-Kotor, which runs every half hour. Ticket price is 3-3.5 euros. Travel time is 30 minutes.
In summer, one of the most beautiful ancient cities of Montenegro, surrounded by high fortress walls, is crowded. People arrive here in the thousands on cruise ships, excursion boats and yachts. At the entrance to Kotor, traffic jams form, and congestion of tourists occurs on the narrow streets.
Another thing is autumn. Finally, you can calmly look at ancient buildings, wander through antique shops, and look into the Maritime Museum and the Cat Museum, which serve as a symbol of the city. But the main thing is that in cool weather it is much easier to climb to the top of the Kotor Fortress.
According to various sources, from 1350 to 1420 steps lead to the very top. In the heat, this path turns into torture or, if you like, a test of strength. Moreover, you still have to pay extra for the torment: from April to November, entrance to the fortress costs 8 euros. But there are also workaround “unofficial” routes to the ascent, which no one is looking after in the fall.
Durmitor National Park
How to get there: by bus Budva-Zabljak (departure at 8.45). Ticket price is 15 euros. Travel time is 4 hours 45 minutes. You can return by return bus at 17.55.
Landscape of Durmitor mountains in Montenegro
The mountains of Durmitor are beautiful at any time of the year, but autumn is a truly golden time for lovers of photography and fabulous landscapes.
If you rent a car, then on the way from the coast you will be able to “grab” a few more beauties - the canyon of the Moraca River and the monastery of the same name, the Biogradska Gora nature reserve, the canyon of the Tara River and the 172-meter-high Djurdjevic arched bridge. In addition, the mountain serpentine is replete with observation platforms.
It’s worth coming here for the whole day or even two, and not for half an hour, as happens with most sightseeing tours. You can stay overnight in Zabljak, the highest mountain town in Montenegro at the entrance to Durmitor.
The park has more than 100 km of hiking trails and 18 of them, the most famous of which is Black Lake, can be walked around in an hour. But to conquer the highest point of Montenegro - Bobotov-Kuk Peak (2532 meters) - you will need a whole daylight hours, with access to the mountain at 5.30 in the morning. “Then I had to lie down for another day, but it was worth it!” - say tourists who accomplished this small feat instead of catching the last autumn warmth on the beach.
A small but incredibly attractive and good-natured country, the landscapes of which are sometimes compared to the beauties of Switzerland, located in the southwest of the Balkan Peninsula, on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, Montenegro offers a wonderful vacation at very affordable prices. The Tour Calendar will tell you why the time period from late April to early July and from late August to late September is the best time to travel to Montenegro.
Tourist season in Montenegro
These days, Montenegro is a popular tourist destination among Russians. The season here lasts from April to the last days of October. This compact country amazingly combines mountains covered with dense forests and picturesque lakes, fast-moving rivers with wild waterfalls and the azure waters of the Adriatic, spacious beaches and modern ski centers. The only thing that is a little upsetting is the underdevelopment of the hotel infrastructure and the low level of service. However, many tourists who are unpretentious to artificial gloss and value primarily environmentally friendly holidays in the lap of nature choose this particular country for their vacation. In addition, it doesn’t hit the pocket too hard, which is doubly nice.
High season in Montenegro
A massive influx of holidaymakers is observed in the summer, at the height of the swimming season. The beaches of the Adriatic Sea cannot boast of proper equipment, but the cleanliness of the water and coastal zone, unprecedented for the Russian Black Sea coast, acts as a magnet for millions of tourists. The main ethnic composition of people who come to Montenegro on vacation is represented by Russians and Serbs. Our tourists try to combine lying on the beaches with yachting, speleology, canyoning, rafting, fishing and cultural and educational programs. After Croatia introduced a visa regime for Russians and Ukrainians, an increase in tourist flows into the country is expected, which will undoubtedly affect the quality of the recreation industry due to new cash injections.
Low season in Montenegro
A pronounced low season in both prices and the number of tourists in Montenegro is observed from the end of October to March. But we are talking only about the south of the country. In the north, in the ski centers, the season is in full swing. What are the benefits of a holiday in Montenegro from mid-autumn to early spring? The price tag for most excursions at this time drops as much as possible, you can rent a good house for the daily cost of a room in a 5* hotel, and the banal absence of similar tourists scurrying back and forth is no less.
Best time for excursions
In the relatively small territory of Montenegro, a considerable number of man-made and natural monuments are concentrated, taken under the protection of UNESCO. Arriving in Montenegro, you will definitely want to get acquainted with its rich nature. About 30% of the country's area is allocated to national parks alone! You will also definitely be amazed by the ancient cities, medieval architecture, bearing the stamp of bygone times. All in all, there's a lot to take in here. The smartest decision when planning excursion routes is to focus on good weather. At the height of summer, such trips are very tiring, but the second half of April, May, June, September and the first two weeks of October will be ideal for implementing the plan.
Beach season in Montenegro
The beach season in Montenegro begins quite early. The Adriatic warms up very quickly, which is why many parents love it so much. In May, the water temperature reaches +18 °C, swimming in it is quite invigorating, but the tan is excellent. In June, more people plunge into the sea: the thermometer in the first days of the month rises to +21 °C, and by the end it can be about +23 °C. You can go to the beaches with children in July and August, if the main criterion is a warm sea. At this time, the water becomes like fresh milk; you can swim for hours without worrying about hypothermia. However, you should avoid staying in direct sunlight: the weather at this time is very hot, and the sun bakes mercilessly.
Velvet season in Montenegro
Not everyone can handle long trips in the heat well enough. And even more so, multi-hour excursions. And rest in the midst of summer may be contraindicated for health reasons. But this is not a reason to deny yourself the pleasure of lying on the beach, swimming to your heart's content and breathing in the heady sea air. The velvet season in Montenegro is a real fairy tale of the passing summer, finally bestowing with all the best: a gentle warm sea, a gentle sun, just about to ripen juicy fruits and some kind of magical feeling of peace. This period lasts throughout September with a water temperature of about +22 °C..+23 °C. If you are lucky with the weather, you will be able to fully spend time on the beach in the first two weeks of October. However, in any case, the water will be refreshing, no more than +20 °C..+21 °C.
Ski season in Montenegro
Montenegro is also popular in winter. Fans of active recreation flock here, because the country is famous for its modern, comfortable ski resorts. The ski season here lasts from mid/late November to the last days of March/mid-April. The air temperature, even in the depths of winter, is very pleasant - not lower than -10 ° C. Strong cold winds practically never happen here; the weather is pleasant with a large number of sunny days. In winter, at the resorts you can not only go snowmobiling, skiing and snowboarding, but also diversify your cultural leisure by witnessing the annual competition "Montenegro Ski Fest" (in Kolasin), held in February or the January "First Snow Festival" in the resort of Zabljak.
Children's season
Children's camps “far abroad” are a modern trend in demand in the Russian tourism industry market. Why go to Italy or Spain, when very close by, in Montenegro, there are excellent health camps with a sports or linguistic focus at very reasonable prices. The same Mediterranean climate, the same gentle sea and bright sun. According to some parameters, Montenegro generally occupies a leading position among countries offering the organization of children's recreation. If only because it is a “walking textbook” on geography, where the maximum natural diversity is presented, which is a good basis for educational and exciting leisure time. And the health benefits of this for a growing organism are enormous. Most camps operate in the summer, but it is better to book tours in the winter, since by mid-spring many quotas are already closed.
Wellness season
If we are talking about inexpensive but effective health improvement, then the first thing that comes to mind is Montenegro. Do not take this as an advertisement, but the natural healing factors of these places are impressive. The mild climate, healing mud, mineral radon waters, sulfur springs, coupled with European technologies and modern medical facilities work real miracles. Unfortunately, not everyone is yet aware of the powerful health resort potential of the country in Russia. Here they treat rheumatism, dermatological diseases, and correct the functioning of the nervous, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. The most favorable time to undergo a course of procedures is spring and autumn, when the weather is warm and not hot.
Fishing season
Local lakes, of which there are over 40, are simply teeming with trout and other fish delicacies. The Adriatic is also rich in its inhabitants. Fishing in Montenegro has long been a popular form of tourism. The fishing season in sea water lasts from mid-March to the last days of November, in lakes and ponds - from May to the end of October.
It's time for holidays and festivals
Montenegrins know a lot about fun. National holidays are celebrated on a special scale. Since the majority of the population professes the Orthodox faith, it is not surprising that their most revered holiday is Easter. In second place in importance is Christmas (Bozhich), preparation for which begins on St. Day. Nicholas, falling on December 19th. From time immemorial, on January 5, in Tutsindan, a lamb or pig was slaughtered for the Christmas table. Today this day is considered a “children’s” day: parents should not punish their children if they behave badly. On Christmas Eve or Badnidan, they remember ancient traditions: men go into the forest for a Christmas log, and it is possible to “get” it with only three blows of an ax, after which the log is brought home and thrown into the fire, having previously been sprinkled with wheat and poured with honey. It burns in the oven for three holiday days in the name of the well-being of the family. On January 7, when you find yourself in Montenegro, you can be convinced of the deep religiosity of Montenegrins and their reverent attitude towards traditions. Restaurants and cafes offer Christmas menus during the holidays. In February, the memory of the patron saint of Kotor, Saint Tripun, is honored. The city hosts big celebrations with the participation of the country's best musical and folk ensembles. In the last days of the month, Herceg Novi is at the epicenter of flower madness, this is the time of the grandiose “mimosa festival”. A month later, camellias rule the roost here, and the small village of Stoliv joins the celebration. As part of this event, exhibitions of floral compositions and music concerts are held. The country's national holidays include Independence Day, which falls on May 21, Statehood Day on July 13, and Montenegro Declaration Day on August 28.
Climate in Montenegro
The landscape “diversity” of Montenegro has caused the formation of several types of climate in the compact territory of the country: on the Adriatic coast - Mediterranean, in the north - temperate continental, in the mountains - mountainous. In the central lowland regions, which do not have access to the sea, the weather is cooler than on the seashore. In general, the country's climate is favorable for a comfortable holiday at different times of the year.
Montenegro in spring
In March, real spring comes to the Adriatic coast. At midday, the thermometer rises to +15 °C..+16 °C. However, this is not the best time for forays into nature, since in the first month of spring there is heavy rain, only occasionally alternating with sunny weather. In the central regions, air temperatures are more “restrained”; there is also a large amount of precipitation. And there is still snow in the mountains; the ski season comes to an end only in the last days of the month. The thermometer here shows from +5 °C (day) to -3 °C (at night). The next month brings significant warming throughout the country: in the coastal regions - up to +20 °C, with a high probability of precipitation, in the central regions - up to +13 °C, and in the mountains from +8 °C to 10 °C. The snow here gradually begins to melt, completely disappearing by mid-May. Despite the precipitation, starting in April, the weather is favorable for exploring excursion trails, of which there are many in Montenegro. This is the period of awakening of nature: spring primroses on the hills, delicate aromas of meadows and the flight of the first butterflies. In May, the tourist season opens at seaside resorts. It's truly summer weather here, but it's still too early to swim. As night approaches, the air cools by an average of 10°C. Precipitation continues to fall, but with less regularity and intensity. The driest coastal city at this time is Bar. It is also warm inside the country, but in the mountainous areas the weather remains cold: during the day no more than +13 °C.

Montenegro in summer
Summer on the Adriatic coast is quite dry and hot. June is the most “democratic” month in terms of weather. The sun is quite safe and is not debilitating yet, and the water is a little invigorating. In July and August, the average daily air temperature is about +28 °C, but sometimes the thermometer crosses the mark of +30 °C. In the highlands, summer weather is characterized by moderate warmth: during the day the thermometer rises to a maximum of only +25 °C. It gets significantly colder at night, so take this into account when going hiking. Approximately the same climatic situation is observed in the central part of the country, except that evening temperatures are a couple of degrees higher.

Montenegro in autumn
Autumn is the time for vitamins. Local fruits ripen: persimmons, citrus fruits, pomegranates, kiwi, figs, etc. An excellent opportunity to saturate your body with nutrients before the coming winter. At this time of year, the Adriatic resorts are warmer than in spring. The velvet season lasts about 1.5 months. The gentle weather is generous with sunny, fine days. The fierce southern sun has not been rampant for a long time; instead, it gently warms with soft rays. By the way, the tan during the velvet season is the most durable. At this time, the water is still warm enough for swimming - from +23 °C to +20 °C. The absence of cold currents has an effect. The sea becomes truly cool only at the beginning of November. From the second half of October, a gradual cooling begins, rains become more frequent, leaves begin to fly off the trees, changing their color to crimson and gold shades. In the mountainous areas (Kolashino, Zabljak) it is already quite cool at this time - about +11 ° C, and in November the first frosts “hit”, and there is a high probability of snowfalls.

Montenegro is a country of lazy giants. With a height of 168 cm, I reach the shoulder of a male Montenegrin, the female is not much lower - I assure you! It is unknown what caused this, but I checked with the guide about this. The second point is laziness! This is also not at all exaggerated, and believe me, our Emelya is a fierce nimble on the stove.
In the fall, you can buy local, 100% organic fruits without the slightest problem.
The country is delightful, beautiful, unusual, contrasting, with an interesting history, delicious - both from the smell in the air and from the cooking! giants love a lot and quality!
They grow everywhere, on the streets, in gardens, in a ditch, on a rock, in a trash can. Everything will sing on its own and no one needs it due to that same legendary laziness.
They have a joke about this: when the time comes to harvest the olives, two Montenegrins lay a blanket under the olive tree, sit down next to them to rest and wait for the wind to blow so that the olives fall; if there is no wind, it means that the year turned out to be a bad harvest!
Another key point is the absence of theft: cars sit open all day long, with bags and things inside! Shops everywhere have special baskets for umbrellas; no one takes someone else’s; in supermarkets, the compartments for bags are bags WITHOUT LOCKS (like many public toilets - I really don’t understand this at all), they throw everything away and wander around the store, chatting among themselves, with the sellers, in a word, in no hurry! Amazing! It’s amazing, do the Russians really not pull there, everything that lies, or if they pull, it doesn’t teach the Montenegrins anything? They're probably just lazy -)
Now data:
1. On every five meters there are BAKERS - bun bakeries in our opinion - heavenly baked goods! In the evening, all the bread that has not been sold is hung in bags on special hooks near trash cans for all those in need. It is not acceptable to eat stale bread. We ate yesterday's bun, it was delicious! I brought one home, even the cat grabbed her by both bushy cheeks.
2. In October it is hot, you can sunbathe, swim in warm weather, and Montenegrin and Italian women in boots and leather jackets will walk nearby. They're cold!
3. The coastal area is very Italian due to the neighborhood and Venetian enslavement at one time, so here you can taste the perfect Italian pizza!
4. Russians are not liked, at least not by females, whom we call crows. Predatory black evil women!
But what kind of cultured drivers are there: you can go on a red light, they will stop in front of you and let you through, in general they love pedestrians, respect is like for pensioners! And old age in the mountains is honorable =)
5. The climate is changing as suddenly and quickly as Beyoncé's wigs! On the coast it is hot, palm trees, agave, nudists. Literally an hour and a half of climbing into the mountains - here you have coniferous forests, it’s cold, rainy and you want to put on woolen underpants.
6. Grapes and Australian gooseberries, commonly known as kiwis, grow in every yard to create shade and protect from rain! No one picks fruit - everyone is too lazy! We collected! And they ate... Unwashed! And nothing happened))) bad)
7. In cities there are stands where an obituary is posted for any deceased person, the locals study the lists very carefully, everyone here knows each other and is very devout!
8. About piety: unlike ours, they are very modest, almost everywhere on the territory there are vegetable gardens with cabbage and carrots, a garden with fruits, hives with bees, bushes with roses. Everything is yours! And it looks very picturesque.
The priests are simply in black clothes, no pathos of Russian churches with kilogram gold crosses all over the priest’s fat belly!
9. The water in the tap is drinkable, but terrible - with sediment! They say it contains a lot of calcium, which settles. Maybe that's why they are so huge?..
10. Men walk with children more often than mothers, this is a touching sight, but this is where the tenderness of Montenegrin men ends))
It’s customary for them to sit all day long in taverns, chatting, and the women take care of everything; apparently, the Turkish influence is already showing up here. There is also a local joke about this - a Montenegrin man is like a floor lamp in a house: he stands there useless and glows!
11. it’s very salty, so it’s difficult to drown, and after swimming a layer of salt collects on the body, you can take tequila to the beach and lick each other))) The water temperature is either 45 or 16 degrees Celsius on the street is 20+, so in In August, you can cool off in the sea and warm up in the fall))
Anastasia Vozvolnaya was with you.12. Montenegrin raki has nothing in common with Turkish raki, only if it is strong! Delicious!
Now is the best time in Montenegro! And immediately in response to this statement I receive two questions from tourists: What is the air temperature in September and October in Montenegro? And is it still possible to swim in the sea? The air temperature is the most comfortable, during the day about +22 + 27, the sea is even higher + 20, rain occurs occasionally, but it is not terrible. But the most important thing is that the crowd has subsided!
Now nothing prevents you from walking through old towns and cute villages, watching sunsets while walking along the beaches, inhaling the aroma of pine and fir trees in the parks. There is no longer the hellish stuffiness, like in July-August at +42 C, sweat does not flow in a stream, after all, I work in the sun from morning to evening...
So I enjoy everything - fresh air, deserted beaches, warmth, not heat, greenery and flowers on the sea and yellow foliage in the mountains. I still walk around in sandals and dresses, and this will be the case even at the beginning of November. If you are still in doubt - should you go to Montenegro during the velvet season? Stay at home and suffer that you will not see the country of the Black Mountains and the Adriatic Sea in its best month - October!
In the photo - Milocer beach, where in past centuries only royal dynasties vacationed. In the summer, entrance to it is 120 euros, now the season has ended at the Sveti Stefan hotel, the sun loungers have been removed from the beaches, the entrance has become accessible, as you can see - ordinary people take advantage of it. Photo taken on September 29
I wouldn't be me if I didn't show you the food! The most delicious, just picked from the tree! I am against buying local fruits and berries, when they grow in large quantities in many hills and abandoned gardens. There are also figs, although they started in July, but they are different. The green-yellow skin does not mean that it is immature, it is such a variety, try it for softness. Figs in Montenegro grow like a weed! And if you’re looking for a bummer, go to a civilized market, there it’s 3 euros / kg
Either apricots or peaches. I first discovered them at the end of September, very tasty!
A place where you can sometimes enjoy delicacies and see the Budva Riviera with the famous hotel island is called Chelobrdo(Bald Hill in translation). It’s good here in the morning when the sea is emerald blue, or at sunset.
If you rent a car, you can leave it at the point - 42.264382, 18.900234. You can also walk up the old Egorova trail fromPraskvica Monastery , it was built by a Russian monk 200 years ago, there is a sign hanging there about his useful work. For a full-fledged program, I advise you to also look into the women'sRustovo Monastery , it’s not far from Chelobrdo, you’ll like it because there’s a church dedicated to our royal family, the Romanovs.
My trophies
I also have favorite places with fruit in the Tivat Bay :)
Edible pomegranates usually grow in gardens; they are large and sweet. The skin does not have to be pink or red, it can be green on the outside and ripe on the inside. By the way, Montenegrins do not always eat fruit; often in winter you can see the ground behind the fence strewn with rotten tangerines, it’s so sad to see.
The inside of the pomegranate is gorgeous! I destroy them several times a day.
The olives will soon ripen and there will be a gorgeous celebration in the old Bar. Great olive harvest this year!
Quince will be ready soon. I use it to make a gorgeous brandy - dunya.
By the way, I don’t go to the market to buy fruit, as tourists usually do, but to buy small cucumbers for pickling and homemade pink tomatoes. In the photo you can see yellow tangerines, also Montenegrin, and kiwis are also ripe
It's still green and colorful here in the fall! Although in spring, of course, there are a hundred times more flowers
What’s also cool in autumn is the clean, clear air. In summer everything will be hazy from evaporation.
There is a walking trail near St. Stephen, now it is wonderful and uncrowded
Let me remind you that it’s possible to get to the island hotel! And it’s cheaper in the off-season, article
