What is Pandora? Pandora's Box in the myths of ancient Greece. Pandora's Box - a legend from Ancient Greece Open Pandora's Box
***Warning! The information contains many energy stamps that can activate the core of human dissonance. Before getting to know her, balance your inner world, calm down and do not participate in what you hear. ***
The deep source of all human diseases is the core of dissonance. It was compiled over the course of all earthly incarnations of the immortal Soul. With each new earthly life, the core of dissonance grows, like a snowball, with new negative energy stamps of a person. The formation of the core of dissonance began with subatomic particles at the moment they overcame the gravitational thresholds between the levels of consciousness of the Implicit and Explicit order, from which the cells of a human being were created. At the moment “now” the core of dissonance in each person has already been formed and with each new earthly life it only increases its strength. The core of dissonance includes all negative energy stamps acquired through all earthly incarnations of the immortal Soul. Energy stamps are the emotional dependencies of a person who is stuck in the vortex energy flows of life experience. Energy stamps are a special form of energy created and sealed in the human energy body as a result of certain experiences during earthly life. People should know that their immortal Soul, leaving earthly life, chooses which negative energy stamps to forever include in the core of their personality. All negative energy stamps present in the core of the personality are components of the core of dissonance. The core of dissonance is Pandora's box, which a person fills up throughout his earthly life. By replenishing it, a person increases in size, like a snowball, the core of dissonance. A person carelessly distributes the contents of “Pandora’s Box” to other people, giving “generous gifts” to the entire Universe. The Universe accepts these gifts with love and, strengthening their energy flows, returns them back to the person.
Despite the fact that energy stamps can be healed and released, a person does not particularly bother himself with this. For what? After all, “There is no one on earth more intelligent than man!”
You have just become acquainted with one energy stamp of the core of dissonance. From the point of view of a person’s logical mind, this statement is positive.
A person’s EGO, together with the energies of power, significance and comparison, makes up negative energy stamps:
- “Who are they, and who am I!”
- “You have to crawl and crawl before me!”
- “I pay money, that means I order the music!”
- “Money is everything!”
- "Wash your hand!"
- “If you don’t apply it, you won’t go!”
- "A raven will not peck out a crow's eye!"
With the same energy of power and energies of greed, despotism, a person creates negative energy stamps:
-"I am the owner! And you are biomass!"
- "You are all rednecks!"
- "Your place is in the trash heap!"
- “I can do this, but you can’t!”
-"Only I can resist injustice"
- "I am the people! I am the country!"
From the energies of false promises, selfishness, cunning and meanness, promising others to do the impossible, while saying to yourself:
You are a herd! YOU are lazy and disgusting! I wouldn’t give a penny for your Soul! All of you are just waiting for handouts and manna from heaven!
From the energies of fear, guilt, obligations, sin and justice, discussion and condemnation, negative energy stamps are created:
- “It was NOT with milk, it won’t be with jelly either!”
- “I was born a beggar, I will die a beggar!” -
- "Nobody needs me!"
- "Life is a complete mess!"
- "Tired of life!"
- “Why live like this?”
- "There are only swindlers around!"
- “I won’t give what’s mine to anyone!”
- "What will people say?"
- "I don't care about everything!"
We could continue ad infinitum. Each negative energy stamp throughout life adheres to the core of dissonance, which comes to this earthly incarnation with the core of the personality of a newborn person on earth. The snowball of the core of dissonance increases due to the core of dissonance present in the genetic histories of the two genera (mother and father) of the DNA molecule of human cells. Mixed special forms of dissonance core energy are capable of attacking the consciousness of subatomic particles of the cells of a human being and subordinating them to their will (zombifying). It must be remembered that the subatomic particles of human cells take on the image that the owner of the Temple of God that they created created for them: - man. The continuous attack of the consciousness of subatomic particles by the energies of the dissonance core leads to the destruction of the collective consciousness of one or more human organs and the occurrence of diseases of these organs.
Man is given the most powerful processor - the human brain. Its possibilities are endless. With the help of the brain, all processes in the human body are launched. It is the brain that is able to heal, neutralize and release a person’s negative energy stamps and destroy the core of dissonance already in this earthly life. For this you need: - this knowledge, willpower, intention and faith. You are all free to make your own choices. You can continue to fill your Pandora's box, and the Pandora's box of your home, villages, towns, cities, countries and planets.
Then do not pray to God, crossing yourself with one hand, and with the other, raking in all the energetic dirt and filling it with the Temple of God - your being. By doing so, you are turning the temple of God into a garbage dump. Before it begins to turn into fertile soil for harvest, more than one earthly incarnation is necessary.
When a person looks at another person, he sees God before him, and not what “the logical mind sees.”
The expression "Pandora's box" came to us from Ancient Greece, becoming the personification of sudden troubles and misfortunes. There is a version that supposedly the thing that the girl Pandora kept was called differently by the Greeks. But, translating this myth, the scientist Erazim of Rotterdam dubbed this object a box in his scientific work “Proverbs.” In this form, the saying has survived to this day.
Pandora's Box - what is it?
Pandora's Box is a casket that contained misfortunes and illnesses; such a severe gift was prepared for people by the Greek titan Zeus. Over time, the expression “Pandora’s box” became popular and received a double interpretation:
- The personification of all kinds of troubles.
- An extremely curious person who can harm himself and others with his persistence.
This myth was very popular among both the Greeks and the Romans; in both legends, the blame for what happened was placed on the gods and Pandora, who opened this box. Another interesting interpretation is that it appeared in the 17th century, thanks to fashion designers. To demonstrate fashionable clothes, mannequins were created, which were willingly placed in the homes of the rich. These figures were called Pandora because:
- the dolls opened chests with outfits;
- misfortunes turned into the beauty of fashionable things and scattered around the world, giving women joy.
Pandora's Box - myth or reality?
Scientists have been arguing for decades whether Pandora's box really exists. If we take as a basis the theory that before Pandora appeared on Earth with harmful baggage, humanity did not know diseases, we can assume that we are talking about the development of a race. There are versions that Pandora's mysterious box is:
- An environmental disaster that changed human genetics.
- A gift from alien civilizations who conducted an experiment on the Earth's population.
- An object that destroyed the more developed civilizations of our planet, leaving one that survived, but lost the makings of health and the ability to control energies through mutations.
The Legend of Pandora's Box
The question immediately arises: why is the vessel of misfortune associated with the name of the girl, and not Zeus, who filled it? This story is told by the myth of Pandora's Box, which was preserved by the inhabitants of Hellas. When people received fire from the titan Prometheus and almost became equal to the gods, the lords of Olympus became very angry and decided to punish everyone. They created the beautiful Pandora to bring a box of troubles to Earth.
The name translates as “gifted by all”; each god tried to endow the girl with the best qualities:
- Hephaestus sculpted a wondrous figure;
- Aphrodite endowed with beauty;
- Athena prepared the richest clothes;
- Hera gave great intelligence;
- Hermes - resourcefulness and;
- Zeus inhaled his soul and irrepressible curiosity.
What is Pandora's box for?
Pandora's Box is a myth, similar to the story of the Trojan Horse, because the girl herself did not know where and why she was being sent, and even with incomprehensible baggage, which was given by the Thunderer himself. Initially, the beauty was offered as a wife to Prometheus, but he refused because he was expecting a dirty trick from the gods. The titan's brother Epithemus fell in love with Pandora and took her into his home with a modest dowry. According to the Romans, the god Mercury himself brought the bride's luggage.
What does Pandora's box mean - it is a sophisticated punishment for people, which Zeus prepared. And later he became the personification of what he was stuffed with:
- diseases;
- misfortunes.
What's in Pandora's Box?
Some researchers hypothesize that the contents of Zeus' gift were wisely encrypted by ancient storytellers. The mystery of Pandora's box remained unsolved for many centuries, but the troubles and illnesses contained in the vessel can be interpreted as:
- deadly or dangerous viruses;
- seeds invisible to the eye that poison the earth;
- radiation that provokes all kinds of disasters.
If we assume that in ancient centuries people called aliens from other planets gods, it is quite possible to assume the existence of a box with dangerous contents. The version is also supported by the fact that Zeus created silent misfortunes so that they could sneak up on people quietly and unnoticed. After all, viruses and radiation are also invisible to the human eye. Philosophers explain the essence of the myth in their own way; supposedly Pandora's box was a container of evil energy that spread throughout the world.
Who opened Pandora's box?
Zeus forbade Pandora to open the gift, but at the same time he hoped that the curious beauty would not be able to resist the temptation. The mystery of Pandora's box quickly ceased to be such, the chosen one of the gods inquired about the contents. The myth tells that tiny creatures flew out from there and began to sting the girl. If we rely on this presentation, we can assume that in reality the beauty released insects - carriers of terrible viruses. Legends are silent about the keys to Pandora's box. The poems of some Greek poets say that Zeus himself allegedly gave the keys to the girl.
What's left in Pandora's box?
The myth says that after the beauty opened the dangerous casket and suffered from the bites of winged creatures, she quickly closed the lid. But then someone’s voice ordered to open it again in order to be healed from the wounds. This was spoken by Hope, which Zeus gave to people as a consolation. Then there are two versions of events:
- Pandora obeyed, released Hope and was healed.
- The girl was afraid to open the casket again, and Vain Hope remained at the bottom forever.

What does the expression "Pandora's Box" mean? Allegorically, this is the source of various troubles and misfortunes. For many, this phraseological unit is extremely understandable and clear, but not many know the history of its origin.
The history of the phrase “Pandora's box” goes back to an ancient Greek legend. According to which, Zeus ruled the world from the sacred Olympus, and the people living on Earth did not know sorrow and troubles, they were happy and content. But on Earth they did not know fire. To help people, Prometheus stole the sacred fire from Olympus and brought it to Earth. For this offense, Zeus decided to punish not only Prometheus, but also the people who dared to use this gift.
According to myth, humanity originally consisted exclusively of men. The men led a carefree life, fought, had fun, sang and danced. But Zeus (god of the sky, thunder and lightning, in charge of the whole world, chief of the Olympian gods), as a punishment to people for the fire Prometheus stole for them, ordered Hephaestus (God of Fire) to create a woman.
To create a complex creature, Hephaestus attracted many gods, each of whom endowed her with a special gift. Athena, along with the Charites, dressed her in a sparkling dress and put a golden necklace around her neck. Aphrodite gave beauty, a seductive smile and a gentle voice. Hermes gifted with intelligence, sweet speech, cunning and deceit. They called the “newborn” Pandora - “gifted by the gods.”
Mercury attributed the unearthly miracle to the brother of Prometheus, a titan named Epimetheus, which translated from Greek means “he who thinks later.” And despite the warnings of brother Prometheus: “Do not accept gifts from Zeus.” Epimetheus could not resist, because Pandora was so beautiful and seductive, and took the girl as his wife. Pandora was the first woman on Earth.
They spent the first days of their life together, serenely walking, holding hands, in the cool forest shade, among garlands of fragrant flowers, satisfying their hunger with juicy fruits that hung so low that it was enough to just reach out to pick them.
One evening, while dancing on the lawn, they saw the messenger of Jupiter, Mercury, approaching them. He walked slowly and tiredly, his clothes were covered with dust and stained with mud, and on his shoulders lay a chest, bending him to the ground with its weight.
Pandora stopped and, with feminine curiosity, began to wonder what could be in this huge chest. She whispered to Epimetus to find out what brought Mercury here. Epimetus complied with her request, but Mercury did not answer his question and only asked permission to leave the chest for safekeeping in their house, explaining that he was too tired to deliver it to its destination today, and promised to pick up the box soon. This permission was given to him. With a sigh of relief, Mercury put the chest in a corner and left, refusing the hospitable hosts' offer to rest and have a snack.
Epimetus kept his word without hesitation and continued to have fun. But Pandora wanted to look at the contents of the mysterious box. Epimetus, surprised and shocked by his wife’s desire, declared that it was impossible to violate the decrees of the gods. Epimetus hastened to call his wife into the fresh air, where their friends were having fun and playing, but for the first time Pandora rejected his proposal. Frustrated and discouraged, Epimethe left the house alone, hoping that she would soon join him.
Left alone with the mysterious chest, Pandora was burning with curiosity. She carefully approached him and began to look at him with interest. It was made of dark wood, and a head was carved on the lid, so skillfully that Pandora thought she was smiling and encouraging her. The box was tied with a shiny gold cord, which was tied in an intricate knot on the lid. Pandora, proud of her skillful fingers, had no doubt that she would be able to untie it, and thought that there would be nothing wrong if she just loosened the knot a little without looking under the lid.
From the box, sounds like whispers came to Pandora's ear. After she untied the knot, they became louder, and she, holding her breath, put her ear to the lid, wanting to make sure that these sounds were really coming from there. It’s easy to imagine her surprise when she heard the words spoken in a plaintive voice: “Pandora, dear Pandora! Have pity on us, release us from this dark prison! Open the lid, we beg you, open it!”
Pandora's heart beat so fast and loud that its beats momentarily drowned out all other sounds. And then familiar footsteps reached her ears. It was Epimetus. She knew he was coming to force her to leave the house. Assuming that she might not have time to release the plaintive creatures, she hastily opened its lid to see what was there.
The insidious Jupiter put all the diseases, troubles, vices and crimes into the chest, and as soon as the lid of the chest was slightly opened, they flew out and, under the guise of small creatures with brown wings, very similar to moths, began to circle around Epimetus, who entered the house, and around Pandora, biting and stinging them mercilessly. Then they flew out through the open windows and door and attacked Epimetus's friends, and their joyful cries immediately gave way to pitiful groans.
Before this, Epimetus and Pandora had never experienced pain or anger, but as soon as the winged evil spirits bit them, they began to cry and - alas! - for the first time in my life we quarreled. Epimetus began to bitterly reproach his wife for her recklessness, but in the midst of his reproaches he suddenly heard a plaintive voice crying out for freedom. The voice came from the chest, the lid of which Pandora slammed shut as soon as she felt the first twinges of pain. “Open, open, I will heal your wounds! Please let me out of here,” the voice begged.
The unhappy spouses looked questioningly at each other and listened again. A plaintive voice again reached their ears, and Epimetus allowed his wife to open the lid and let out the one who asked to be free, adding that she had brought so much evil with her intolerable curiosity that it couldn’t get any worse. Pandora opened the box a second time. And a miracle, one of the gods, filled with pity for man, hid among the spirits of evil one good creature, Nadezhda, who began to heal the wounds inflicted by those who were sitting in the chest with her.
Nadezhda touched the bitten places on the bodies of Pandora and Epimetus, and the pain immediately subsided. After that, she quickly flew out the open window and began healing other victims of evil spirits, instilling cheerfulness in them.
Thus, according to the beliefs of the ancients, evil appeared in the world, bringing with it unbearable suffering, but hope always follows on its heels, helping suffering people and promising them a happy future.
Since then, people have forgotten many gods, but they have always revered Nadezhda.
Despite the fact that most people agree with the conclusion that women, like Pandora, do evil and are guilty of everything. Many experts consider history to be distorted by clergymen who have always hated women for their disobedience, poor suggestibility of religion, intelligence and insight, as the Inquisition wrote about in the Hammer of the Witches. Experts suggest that Pandora could have discovered not sorrow, but knowledge (just as Eve tasted the apple of wisdom), and dancing and carefree people simply began to realize their lives by looking at themselves critically. After all, you will agree that it is quite strange to endlessly dance and have fun in ecstasy. In addition, it was no longer reasonable to keep an unfamiliar object rather than check it; the situation could have turned out any way. And of course, not a single plaintive voice can leave a woman indifferent.
Ancient Greek myth, like a pre-literate narrative, has a special device built into it by which anyone who rewrites or retells this myth must first give away his location in time and space.
So we, retelling the content of the myth of Pandora, must determine the position of the narrator and his - my - audience. So, why do we even find it important to learn some of the details of the Pandora myth?
Unfortunately, we won't like the answer. We are still living in an era of transition from patriarchy, from so-called traditional values - the right of the strong, the rule of the mass man, the cult of development and expansion of human presence in nature and space - to humanistic values, to respect for the weak, persecuted, poor and sick, to mutual respect not on the basis of force, but on the basis of humanity, to the expansion of rights and human opportunities for the exiled.
And Pandora, if not the main one, then one of the main heroines of the entry into the world of our not yet over and, fortunately, yesterday that has not yet finished us off.

The Myth of Pandora
It is believed that the myth of Pandora is a very late reworking of some eastern legends that made such a strong impression on Hesiod that he decided to inlay the main legend of the Greeks - about the origin of the world - with the myth of Pandora. And he comes up with a fairy tale about “beautiful evil,” or κακὸν καλόν, embodied in Pandora.
The herald of the immortals called this woman Pandora,
For of the eternal gods who inhabit the houses of Olympus,
Each one contributed his gift to the grain-eating men for their destruction.
Bringing the cunning, destructive plan to fruition,
To the glorious Argo-Killer, the immortal messenger, your gift
The parent ordered to take him to Epimetheus...
(Hesiod. Works and Days. Translation by V.V. Veresaev)
How can this innovation of Hesiod, bordering on falsification, be compared with? Imagine that someone, setting out to describe the problems of modern society, suddenly announces that the fashion and sex industry is to blame: the fashion industry created mannequins, from which a deadly cult of ultra-skinny models grew, and another learned to produce inflatable rubber women for psychosomatic exercises of the rich, supposedly afraid of relationships with real women. Entertaining, but not very convincing.

Birth of Pandora
So, Pandora was not born on her own. Like another woman familiar to us from Hebrew mythology, this woman was sculpted by order of the supreme deity - specifically in order to seduce either the very first, or the smartest person, or a recently conquered deity.
God, who created Adam without any special plan, found himself forced to finalize the project. This is how the first woman, not counting Lilith, arose - Eve. And the Greek Zeus was going to take revenge on the titan Prometheus for stealing fire for people (men) and ordered his gifted son Hephaestus to create a creature that would set limits to the almost endless possibilities of man.
He achieved his goal thanks to two tricks. The first, the effectiveness of which was confirmed during Trojan War, which forever interrupted the relationship between gods and people, is the incredible beauty of a woman. It must be remembered that Hephaestus was the husband of Aphrodite - jealous, but also appreciated by the most beautiful of goddesses - his father's aunt. Therefore, in Pandora, Hephaestus, the grandnephew of his wife, invested not only all his passion for Aphrodite, but also all his jealousy for his wife.
Pandora's Vices
Pandora's charm, which awakens an irresistible and unquenchable lust in the dull tribe of men, was in some way copied by the mother of Hephaestus, who knew how to distract the father of gods and people from any matter, no matter how exciting.
However, even this property would be tolerable and would not cost the world of men any special costs, if only the woman worked by Hephaestus followed certain rules. Instead, and unlike Helen the Fair, who hatched from an egg laid by Leda, Pandora was endowed with four vices: laziness, curiosity, jealousy and vindictiveness.
Obviously, the fifth vice was a combination of vices devoid of any harmony: we already see in this set quite typical male stereotypes that determined the attitude towards a woman as a subordinate biological subspecies - at the same time despised, coveted, dangerous, and in some ways very significant superior to the “senior subspecies”, men.
The Myth of Prometheus
While Prometheus created man together with his brother Epimetheus, some conditions of the technical specifications could not be met. Prometheus found at first only one way out: to show current model you need to fake the test conditions.
Gradually, Prometheus hid all the weaknesses and illnesses, passions and fears that a human being had to overcome on his own in a deep pithos (barrel). Among the passions and misfortunes that should not have prevented a person from acting as a rational being was excessive daydreaming. And Hephaestus put this tendency to dream about the impossible into his special storage. Only when the barrel began to overflow did Prometheus realize that a person would not pass the test due to internal resources, and decided to provide his brainchild with divine fire - the very tool without which Zeus would not be Zeus, and Hephaestus would not be Hephaestus.
Prometheus understood that Zeus would definitely come up with something to destroy his brainchild, since he himself, as a deity, could not be destroyed. Hesiod does not specify whether Prometheus knew exactly how Zeus would achieve his goal, but the generally accepted and well-known version of the myth is this account.
Prometheus and Pandora. Johann David Schubert // wikimedia.org
Prometheus tells Epimetheus not to accept any gifts from Zeus. Meanwhile, Zeus sends the freshly baked Pandora straight to Epimetheus and, moreover, accompanied by the god of couriers and merchants, Hermes. When Epimetheus, warned by Prometheus, refused to accept Pandora, Zeus, in a rage, ordered Hephaestus to chain Prometheus to one of the mountains in the region of the present Caucasus mineral waters, where the eagle tore the titan’s immortal liver, which grew back every night again and again after each bird’s meal.
Another interesting detail that characterizes Zeus more than Prometheus. In order to intimidate Epimetheus and mislead the other gods, Zeus accused Prometheus of wanting to get along with Athena herself, who, apparently, lured the titan to the mountains, only instead of Olympus, where they were waiting for him, the titan found himself in the Caucasus. This plot twist is especially interesting: there could not have been any meeting between Athena and Prometheus, but the subtext of this gossip is the idea of the failed production of a perfect man, which the gods themselves so wanted to save.
And only after learning what trouble his ascetic brother was in, Epimetheus considered it best not to refuse Zeus’s gift and take Pandora as his wife.
Pandora's box is open
As was said, the lazy but curious Pandora soon reached the pithos and was about to transfer from there to her pyxid, or to the box that by that time already bore her name, at least something for further use. But, having opened the barrel, she released the bugs of the autonomous computer console “Man”, performed by Prometheus, collected by Hephaestus. Only the intervention of Hermes made it possible to leave at least something in the pyxid, hermetically closing this box.
But still, many misfortunes that lay in wait for man and for the time being hidden in the pithos of Prometheus and in the pyxid of Pandora - from madness and senile insensibility to diseases and vices that the young cultivate thoughtlessly, and the old madly - broke out and have not been seen since then. subside.

The Myth of Pandora as an Anti-Feminist Parable
Writer and mythologist Robert Graves was sure that this whole story “is not real myth, but an anti-feminist parable, and it is possible that it was invented by Hesiod himself, albeit based on the story of Demophon and Phyllida. Graves identifies Pandora (“gifted by all”) with the earth goddess Rhea, who was worshiped under that name in Athens and elsewhere. The pessimistic Hesiod accused Rhea of the fact that because of her, man became mortal, suffered so many evils in life, and wives were so prone to adultery.
We can say that the myth of Pandora is a cleverly woven ideologeme of “a dangerous and thoughtless woman, launched into production without appropriate tests.” In the scholia to Hesiod's poems on Pandora, one senses a desire to reconcile the most primitive misogynistic ideology with the first attempts at anthropological periodization of the universe.
According to this periodization, the first harvest of people was harvested in Attica, and the first man, Alalcomeneus, immediately found himself in the retinue of Zeus and Hera, resolved their quarrels in every possible way and even raised Athena when she was a child.
We remember, however, that Athena was born immediately fully equipped and fully grown from the head of her father. He, shortly before this, swallowed his beloved pregnant Metis for fear that their common son would overthrow Kronidas. The first generation of people worshiped the father of Zeus, Cronus, although they did not make any sacrifices, were vegetarians, lived joyfully, did not grow old, and instead of death fell into a pleasant sleep. The golden generation still somehow accompanies humanity in happy dreams. Truth-seekers and defenders of justice are considered its blessed representatives.
On the other hand, many archaists and conservatives are close to the intentions of Hesiod the misogynist, and in later times philosophers are born every now and then, one might say living with the myth of Hesiod. This is the famous German Pandorian philosopher - Arthur Schopenhauer.
Heroic epic
Hesiod and his scholiast call the people of the Silver Age “mama’s boys,” who were so accustomed to submitting to women in everything that they became famous only for their whining and grumpiness, for which Zeus eventually drove them all out. Hesiod says nothing at all about the painful similarity between the Silver Ages and the people of the so-called “Silver Ages” in Imperial Rome and in Tsarist Russia before the end of the latter. The copper generation that followed the silver generation already knew how to use weapons, their belligerence became the source of their cruelty, and the copper generation was wiped out by the plague.
The fourth, so-called heroic generation, which succeeded the people of the Copper Age, was the product of mixed unions of gods and goddesses and mortal men and women. The heroic epic tells about them. Military and political glory did not prevent them, however, before their death and departure to the islands of the blessed, they were noted in numerous cases of murder of relatives, incest, kidnapping, and so on.
The heroic age could not last long, because right at its very beginning Zeus ordered the creation of Pandora. Hermes, who accompanied Pandora to the ponderous Epimetheus, from the point of view of many researchers, is an allegory of the fundamental distrust that only people and gods can experience towards each other, even such extremely close deceivers as Hermes and Pandora. Let us not forget that Hermes regularly brings Persephone to her mother from Hades, and then leads her back to the underworld. And Eurydice - first to Orpheus, and then in the opposite direction - was taken by Hermes the Psychopomp (that is, Equipping the Soul on its final journey).
Pandora. Dante Gabriel Rossetti // wikimedia.org
The tragedy of the people of the heroic age also lies in the fact that they involuntarily understood the strong erotic principle inherent in Pandora, constantly in need of interpretation. What is this - “Pandora”? And this is also the one for which even a rational person of the heroic age can “give everything.” That is why Hermes also accompanies Pandora to Epimetheus. This function of the mysterious couple is discussed by Erich Fromm, who, like Sigmund Freud, whom he criticized, foresaw the danger emanating from the flat man of the next century.
Yes, all these generations will be replaced by iron men, whose main characteristic is no longer considered to be the criminal acts themselves, but the fierce collective lies of our century. That is why there is nothing surprising in the curiosity with which we wait for news about Pandora, the embodiment of double or even triple recursion. This curiosity is especially fueled by the outbursts of fiery misogyny that occur from time to time even in developed countries, remaining a sad norm for most countries on earth.
