The best holiday at sea in July. Where to go to the sea in July inexpensively. Where to go on holiday abroad in July. Sunny and hot Cyprus
Where to relax at sea in July? This question at the beginning of the holiday season is one of the most pressing for the vast majority of tourists. The desire to plan a route in advance and determine the country to visit is quite understandable. In the middle of summer, comfortable conditions for relaxation do not exist in every region. What should we ultimately stop at, where should we go? What to choose: the domestic south or a direction a little further?
So, where to go to the sea in July? If you are going on vacation in the first days of the month, it is recommended to pay attention to countries such as Turkey, Montenegro, Greece and Cyprus. In the first ten days of July it is still moderately hot here, and the sea heats up to the most optimal temperature. In just a couple of weeks, the air will reach its maximum levels, and staying at the resorts can hardly be pleasant, especially if tourists with children go on the trip.
More about the resorts
Let's talk a little more about these countries. Of course, the most popular destination is Turkey; hundreds of thousands of Russians from all over our vast Motherland vacation here every year. The main advantages of local recreation include:
- Excellent July weather (water - 26 degrees, air - up to 35 degrees).
- Developed hotel network (accommodation options for every taste and budget).
- An abundance of all kinds of entertainment, high-quality animation (leisure for both adults and children).
- Quite reasonable prices.
Cyprus is also considered a popular, but more European destination. In addition to a high-quality beach holiday, here tourists can enjoy excellent cuisine, natural beauty and monuments of local culture. Young people prefer to relax in Ayia Napa - this small city is famous for its nightclubs and other entertainment venues, in addition, there is a water park for children and teenagers.
Don't like to bother with visas and documents? Welcome to Montenegro: a European holiday and a minimum of bureaucratic delays have made this destination a real find for tourists from Russia. Many couples with children vacation in Montenegro; this trend is explained by the excellent environmental conditions and unique local nature.
For those who are looking for seaside tours in July, meaning a vacation in the middle of the month, it is recommended to pay attention to destinations closer to Russia. So, Bulgaria could be an ideal solution. Its distinctive features include a comfortable climate and a fairly developed infrastructure.
For tourists who prefer moderate temperatures rather than intense heat, the Baltic countries (for example, Lithuania or Latvia) may be suitable. Here you can swim, sunbathe if necessary, or attend a rich excursion program to local attractions. In addition, such resorts are distinguished by excellent environmental conditions.
In mid-July, the high season begins at domestic resorts - in Crimea, on the shores of the Azov and Black Seas. We'll talk about them in a little more detail later.
Where is the best place to go at the end of the month?
Towards the end of July you can relax comfortably in a number of European cities. Excellent sunny weather during this period usually reigns in Spain, France, and also in the south of Italy. A vacation on the coast here can be quite successfully combined with excursion programs and shopping tours.
The advantages of a European beach holiday can be listed endlessly. There is excellent service, good environmental conditions and clean water, a lot of entertainment and opportunities for organizing interesting leisure time. Where to relax at sea in Europe in July? In addition to the states mentioned above, Portugal or Croatia could be a worthy solution.
Where is it better not to go?
When answering the question about where to go to the seaside in July, it is important to immediately dismiss the least comfortable tourist destinations. A large number of tourists act very short-sightedly and purchase vouchers to destinations that do not take into account their climatic features. We are talking about Egypt and Thailand. In the first case, in the middle of summer the air temperature reaches its maximum, and unbearable heat reigns everywhere (about 45 degrees, the air is very hot and dry). Such conditions for an unprepared person, and especially a child, can be not only uncomfortable, but also dangerous to health.
In the second case (Thailand), most of the country experiences prolonged rains, making relaxing on the beach a very unpleasant experience. Of course, there are exceptions to the stated rules. Thus, the island of Koh Samui, which belongs to the territory of the Kingdom, can be an ideal option for a resort vacation in July.
Domestic resort Anapa
With the development of the hotel and tourism industry in our country, more and more Russians prefer local resorts. For such trips you do not need to change currency, learn a language or apply for a visa. In addition, such options are great for parents with children, since children will not need to undergo long-term acclimatization.
A good option might be to decide to visit the sea in Anapa. In July, the city experiences the most favorable weather, the sun shines almost every day, and a couple of rains only bring down the moderate heat. During the daytime, the air temperature warms up to almost 30 degrees, at night it fluctuates around 20-22. As for water temperature, the monthly average is usually about 25 degrees.
What else can you do if you have already appreciated the sea in Anapa? In July, the tourist season reaches its peak, so any tourist will definitely be able to find entertainment to their liking. Thus, supporters of active beach holidays will be able to enjoy:
- diving;
- sailing;
- banana ride;
- riding extreme slides.
Culture and history lovers will certainly be inspired by a visit to a local knight's castle or a reconstruction of an African village. The youngest travelers will enjoy visiting the dolphinarium.
Russian resort Gelendzhik
You can have a good rest in the middle of summer not only in Anapa. Many lovers of domestic tourism go to appreciate the sea in Gelendzhik in July. The city is picturesque and has excellent climatic conditions; there are forests, waterfalls, mineral waters, and real vineyards. The urban resort area occupies approximately 100 kilometers of sea coast, the air temperature is slightly higher than the water temperature, which provides excellent conditions for sunbathing and water procedures.
Those wishing to relax can either stay in comfortable hotels or choose a more affordable offer in the private sector, as well as purchase a voucher for examination and further treatment in a sanatorium.
Other resorts
It should be immediately noted that the Black Sea is most popular in July; at this time, the peak season begins in almost all resort towns. It usually lasts about two weeks, and then subsides extremely slowly. In the middle of the month, the water in the sea can warm up to a record 27 degrees, and swimming in it is a pleasure.
In addition to the resorts already mentioned above, tourists prefer to visit cities such as Tuapse and Dagomys. For an interesting holiday with children, Anapa or Adler are certainly more suitable, but the real star is the southern capital of Russia - Sochi. In addition to the coast, the city has a huge amount of entertainment. When going here, be sure to visit the arboretum, amusement park, and Riviera Park.
Since this year, more and more Russian tourists come to relax in Crimea. Cities such as Yalta and Alushta are in greatest demand here. The most popular holiday month is July.
The sea is inexpensive
Where can you relax economically? The answer to this question is simple - visit Abkhazia. Despite the fact that a trip to this amazing country is usually classified as an economical trip, you are unlikely to forget such a vacation soon. Its main advantages include:
- clean sea;
- lack of crowds of tourists;
- subtropical climate, which allows you to easily tolerate high temperatures;
- clean air and an abundance of pine trees, which make it incredibly healthy;
- affordable prices;
- lack of visas;
- numerous ways to enter the country;
- the ability to speak Russian;
- attractions and cultural centers available for inspection.
Where to relax in July by the sea in Abkhazia? The most popular local resorts are Pitsunda, Gagry and Sukhum.
Resorts of the Azov Sea
Not only the Black Sea, but also the Azov Sea is very popular among tourists in July. Due to its small size and shallow depth, it warms up much faster and holds high water temperatures better. Its average temperature in July reaches approximately 28 degrees, which is ideal for water procedures even for the smallest children. The most famous resorts in this water area are cities such as Azov, Taganrog, Berdyansk, Stepanovka.
Instead of a conclusion
Now you know where to relax at sea in July. It should be noted that each traveler chooses the ideal route for himself, based on his own expectations, preferences and financial capabilities. If you are still planning a trip, please note that some countries may not be recommended for visiting in mid-summer due to unfavorable weather conditions (frequent, prolonged rains or excessively high temperatures).

27 hour layover in Istanbul - we walk next to the Blue Mosque
The most popular holiday option on the warm sea in July was, is and will be, even despite the extreme temperatures. Visa-free, all inclusive and short flights are the key to mass demand.
The entire line of the Antalya coast, under the aggressive sun, heats up to +33°С...+35°С (it feels an order of magnitude higher), the Mediterranean Sea – up to +28°С. The weather is clear, no rain, but that's just not enough. Very humid stuffy and sticky .
The situation is slightly different on the Aegean coast: thanks to the low humidity and winds, the degrees are felt as they are - typical +32°C...+34°C, and the water is refreshing with its +24°C.
Where to go to the sea in Turkey? Tourists taught by “hot” experience recommend only the Aegean coast (Marmaris, Bodrum, Kusadasi) - at least there you can really relax on the beach, and not hide in a hotel. Although, when has the extreme heat stopped you from vacationing in good old Side, Kemer or Alanya, especially in the high season?
- For two people in Türkiye in July 2019 - from 45,000 rubles for 7 days, all inclusive. Aegean coast – from 50,000
Bulgaria
Where to go to the sea in July and not get overwhelmed by the heat? In Bulgaria definitely the most comfortable weather . In mid-summer it is, of course, very warm here: the air temperature is +28°C...+30°C, and the sea reaches +24°C. Bulgaria in July is generally at its coolest; a month later or earlier it’s already cooler.
Judging by the reviews, one cannot remain indifferent to the country. Either it is included in the “inexpensive and worthy vacation - repeat” list, or in the “I do not recommend it to anyone”. Bulgaria's opponents are not satisfied with the Black Sea itself, the crowded conditions and outbreaks of infections during the season. Supporters counter that the whole problem is hygiene, and the combination of such a mild climate and sandy beaches cannot be found anywhere else.
Where is the best beach holiday in July? Albena is one continuous tourist reservation aimed at children, Golden Sands is a youth resort, Sunny Beach stands out for its number of hotels and all-inclusive services, Burgas stands out for its size and infrastructure, and people go to Pomorie to improve their health with therapeutic mud.

Greece
Symi Island, Greece (excursion from Rhodes)
Where the season is in full swing in July is in Greece. Moreover, the season is hot, sultry, but not to the same extent as in Turkey - all because of the more benign climate.
However, if at the beginning of July the temperatures still somehow differ in different regions, then in the end the entire country experiences maximum heat. In air up to +35°С, in water +25°С…+26°С. Due to the low humidity it was still hot easier to tolerate .
It is recommended to spend a beach holiday in Greece in July on the islands of Crete, Rhodes, Kos. They are blown by winds that dilute the hot sun. You can also go the opposite way: on the greener Ionian Islands, Corfu and Chalkidiki, the shade of trees helps. But remember that a lot of vegetation = high humidity.
You will have to forget about daytime excursions in open spaces; even the beautiful Santorini will not “enter” in such weather. But, unlike the rest of Europe, you can have an inexpensive vacation in Greece.
- Minimum prices for tours to Greece in July 2019 – from 50,000 rubles for 7 nights for two without meals; from 60,000 rubles – breakfast + dinner
Montenegro
Kotor, Montenegro
In addition to Turkey, you can relax abroad in July without a visa in Montenegro. And, moreover, relatively inexpensive.
However, this is by no means an alternative to the Turkish coast. Yes, there is a sea - the Adriatic - and the water temperature in it allows swimming - +25°C. But Montenegro is not included in the countries for beach holidays; it more for the soul – with nature, delicious cuisine and gentle sunshine. Therefore, more or less decent beaches have been occupied since June and amaze with the number of sunbathing bodies.
Searching for a tour, by the way, is not always relevant: sometimes it is more profitable to go on your own. Where? Tivat is the capital with developed infrastructure and cheap housing; Budva is a noisy, lively and crowded resort, and next to it are calmer Rafailovici and Becici, where you can find decent beaches. Ulcinj is known as the most distant, but the only city with a sandy coast.
- Tours to Montenegro in July 2019 cost from 55,000 rubles for 7 days for two
Where to go abroad for the azure color of the sea and golden sand? Cyprus has both available, in addition to the absence of hassle with a visa (done in 1-2 days).
However, what Cypriot resorts do NOT have in July is a favorable climate. It’s hot (+31°C…+34°C), too humid (which means we add more degrees according to how we feel) and nowhere to hide from the evil sun except in the room. But an undeniable plus is that you don’t have to get out of the +27-degree sea.
The best beaches, according to tourists, are in Protaras and Ayia Napa, but these places are inconvenient for excursions. Paphos and Larnaca, on the other hand, have a lot to do and walks, but the coastline is not the most impressive.
- A beach holiday in July 2019 in Cyprus will cost from 50,000 rubles for 7 days for 2 people
Where else can you relax abroad in July?
The list of possible vacation spots is by no means limited to the above-mentioned areas. From the reviews it follows that many tourists also like lesser-known resorts. There are many reasons: I don’t like the number of tourists, I’m not happy with the prices there. Where else to go to the sea in July?
Duomo Cathedral in Milan (they decided not to go up)
Italy is so hot in July that a beach holiday looks more attractive than an educational stroll.
The weather temperature is similar in all regions: +29°C...+31°C outside and +24°C...+26°C in the water. Let us note that Rome in July seemed tolerable to us, it was possible to live, but Milan, located much further north, is remembered as a place where it is better not to stick your head out at noon.
The best beach holidays in Italy - according to tourists' reviews - are in Sicily and Sardinia. You can spend a vacation for two in the Amalfi Islands, the island of Ischia or Liguria - picturesque and romantic. The region of Tuscany and Puglia are suitable for traveling with a child, and you can relax inexpensively in the most “Russian” resorts of the Adriatic Sea - Rimini and Riccione.
- In July, prices for holidays in Italy on a tour start from 65,000 rubles for 7 nights for 2 persons. Islands – from 80,000
Lookout on Montjuic mountain in Barcelona
(in the evening you can watch the fountain show - check opening days)
Where to vacation abroad in July in the most interesting and “beachy” way possible? We are all for Spain - there are so many places to have fun, admire, and swim!
At the very beginning of July, the sea is not hot: the water temperature is an uncertain +23°C (with the exception of the Costa Blanca region). But after the 10th the weather is completely stable, +24°C...+25°C for swimming and +28°C...+30°C for walking. To be honest, in Barcelona in the middle of the month we felt a little uncomfortable under the sun, it felt stuffy.
The main headache with Spain is deciding where to go and choosing a resort. In short: holidays with children and friends who cannot stand the heat - on the islands (Mallorca, Tenerife); beautiful beaches, sea and a cool amusement park on the Costa Dorada (Cambrils, Salou); Barcelona is the ultimate concentration of aesthetics and summer sales, Costa Brava is generally an inexpensive region and cooler; well, the cheapest resorts in July are Lloret de Mar (for party-goers and beachgoers) and Calella (very close to Barcelona).
- Prices for tours to Spain in July 2019 start from 65,000 rubles per week for two
Portugal
Our trip to the edge of Europe in Porto
Places abroad where it is warm but not hot in July can be counted on one hand. One of them is Portugal, which is haunted by the ocean breeze.
Summer in the country begins from the 20th of June, and therefore July is not yet the peak of active sun. On average, the air temperature is about +25°С…+29°С, and the Atlantic Ocean indefinitely jumps from +17°С to +22°С. It's cool in the morning and evening, and even midday doesn't force you to hide in the shade.
Where to go? A beach holiday in Portugal in July can only be arranged in Madeira, which also has the warmest water (+22°C, however). Reviews from tourists also mention the Algarve region, where people go to enjoy the views of rocky grottoes and long beaches. Near Lisbon, people sunbathe in the resorts of Cascais and Estoril. The ideal scenario for getting to know Portugal is a tour of the capital and Porto, and then relaxation in Madeira.
Sochi
When talking about a beach holiday in July in Russia, first of all, they mean Sochi. In 2018, the resort became even more popular - the World Cup attracted crowds of fans. And after it ended, many stayed for a week to sunbathe. 🙂
Maldives
Surprisingly, you can also find inexpensive tours in July to the Maldives. Winter holidays on the paradise islands are amazing for the sums they shell out, but in the summer they cost much less.
This is understandable - the low season is coming. The weather does not change in terms of temperature, the same +31°C in the air and +29°C in the ocean. The likelihood of rain increases and, accordingly, humidity. With clear skies you can’t guess – you’ll either be lucky or not (but “no” usually lasts for an hour or two or at night).
The irony is that even at the height of the tourist season, the islands can burst into rain. So is it necessary to overpay for a slightly clearer forecast if the warm sea and bounty beauty are year-round? 🙂
- The cost of a trip to the Maldives in July 2019 is from 155,000 rubles per week for two (including breakfast)
Croatia
Nature in Croatia
Among the possible destinations for a beach holiday in July 2019, we note Croatia. The weather is quite calm and windless. Air temperature – from +28°С to +30°С, it is warmest in the southern resorts. The water stays in the range of +24°С…+25°С. You will enjoy Croatia in July with its good climate, turquoise sea and pine thickets right on the shore.
What will confuse a tourist? Beaches crowded with vacationers, which, for the most part, are either pebbly or concrete, and the discrepancy between the quality of hotels and the declared cost. The country, unfortunately, has long left the “inexpensive” category.
Middle Dolmatia - the towns of Brela and Makarska - are very popular in the season, because... The pebbles here are small. On the Istrian peninsula in Porec you can find cheap housing (and concrete instead of a beach), and in Rovinj and Umag you can find more expensive holidays, but also at a higher level.
- Prices for 7-day tours to Croatia in July start from 70,000 rubles for 2 people
Destinations for a holiday in July with a child
What does a child need from a holiday in July? Warm sea, familiar food and, of course, all kinds of entertainment. And for parents, so as not to worry - a short flight, gentle sun and availability of everything (from food to medical care).
So, where to go in July with a child?
- Albena, Bulgaria: a town where everyone enthusiastically makes Easter cakes on the beach or, in other words, the number 1 resort for families in the whole country. A varied children's table in hotels, shallow sea, a lot of greenery on the territory and tranquility at night.

Agree, not everyone will like to stay at home during the extra free time, so whenever the slightest opportunity arises, we strive to leave, fly away, or even sail away to meet new adventures. As a rule, a lot of advice and recommendations are given regarding where it is better to relax in July. We tried to select the most successful ones for our readers.
However, in addition to answering the question of where you can relax in July, in this article you will find a lot of other useful information about the weather, holidays and discounts on tickets at this time of year in different parts of the world.
general information
It's no secret that July is considered the peak of the tourist season, as they say, its height.
This month is famous for the hottest weather, so a huge number of tourists flock to various resorts of the Black, Red and Mediterranean Seas to spend their holidays, sunbathe in the sun and swim to their heart's content in the gentle waters.
It’s as if the answer to the question of where to relax in July has been received, but, you see, such a standard program does not exhaust all the possibilities for spending time in this summer month. Many people don’t realize that the middle of the warmest season should also be devoted to interesting excursions, cruises, active outdoor recreation, or even visiting European music festivals.
Destinations for beach lovers
Every year, many people look for the answer to the question of where to relax in Turkey in July. And there is nothing surprising in choosing this destination - the gentle sun, warm water, good climate, stunning sights and the high level of service provided cannot but attract thousands of travelers from all over the world.
It is believed that a holiday here in the second month of summer is not the most affordable pleasure. But in practice it often turns out that such a trip is cheaper than a similar holiday at Russian resorts.
In terms of climate, July is the hottest month in Turkey; the air temperature at this time of year reaches +35 degrees.
Greece, Spain, and Italy provide Turkey with both some company and competition. In addition, these are countries with a rich history, so interesting excursions are guaranteed for everyone.
Don’t know where to relax abroad in July, but can’t stand the stifling heat? In this case, it is worth paying attention that a less hot climate awaits tourists in Croatia and Montenegro. The air here heats up to +30 degrees in July, and the water temperature at these resorts does not fall below +25 degrees. It is these factors that make a beach holiday quite comfortable. Moreover, the purity of the Adriatic waters off the coast of Croatia and Montenegro is literally amazing.
In Bulgaria you can also have a great rest, since in July it is almost impossible to encounter prolonged precipitation here, but excessive heat and exhausting stuffiness can definitely be avoided. In addition, prices for holidays here in July are quite reasonable. You can go here if you have not yet decided where to relax in July with your child.
Travelers will experience extremely hot weather on Israel's beaches this month. The heat is especially felt in the depths of this ancient country, but near the sea such high temperatures (+40 degrees and above) are a little easier to bear. The situation is similar with holidays in Egypt and Tunisia.
Excursion Europe
For educational tours in EU countries, July is not considered the best choice. Due to the intense heat, the excursions and bus journeys themselves will not be a particularly comfortable experience. Although, as a rule, this does not stop those who truly want to see the most famous sights of the Old World. Therefore, if you are not afraid of stuffiness, heat or crowds of tourists, you can safely hit the road and see Paris, Rome, Madrid, London and other stunning places with your own eyes.
According to experienced travelers, in July it is still better to travel to less hot Scandinavian countries: the cities of Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. It will be comfortable, warm, but not stuffy here. An excellent option would be to travel by ferry from one Scandinavian capital to another.
Although if you are looking for an answer to the question of where to have an inexpensive vacation in July, this option is unlikely to suit you. Prices for these destinations are usually high. And, unfortunately, carrier companies rarely offer significant discounts on tickets in the summer.
Where to relax in July for cruise lovers
July is rightfully considered the peak of the cruise season. It is during this month that prices for many routes reach their maximum, and despite this, demand still increases significantly.
Booking a cruise from Russia on your own or with the help of different travel agencies is not a problem. You just have to get serious about choosing a direction.
In general, we note that there are many routes for such cruises passing through cities located on the coasts of the Mediterranean and Baltic seas. A rather interesting option would be a river cruise on deep rivers, of which there are more than enough in Europe: the Danube, Elbe, Seine or Rhine.
What about a holiday in the middle of summer?
Where to relax in July for fans of public events? In fact, there are plenty of places. The tip of summer is the perfect time to visit numerous legendary European festivals. Various festivals and carnivals on folklore or national themes are organized everywhere.
In addition, special days dedicated to classical music are organized in different countries.
Large-scale music festivals are often held in July, covering various genres - rock, indie, folk, pop and other styles.
The most iconic festivals are the Danish Roskilde, the Serbian Exit Festival, the Czech Rock for People festival, Bilbao BBK, held in Bilbao, and the Portuguese Optimus.
Where to relax with your baby?
Indeed, where to relax at sea with a baby in July? In general, it should be noted that at this time of year, many camps are actively operating for children and teenagers throughout Europe, where children from different countries can get to know each other, learn foreign languages and play sports. The most popular camps are located in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, as well as Malta and Cyprus. You can find a camp for your child that suits his interests, for example, music or theater.
And, of course, you should just have a standard holiday with your child at sea and improve your health.
Many travelers claim that it is much easier to relax with children in the Black Sea resorts of the Russian Federation, Crimea and Bulgaria, and there are plenty of reasons for such a choice. Judge for yourself - the climate here is not so hot and stuffy, and the culinary traditions are virtually identical to those throughout Russia.
With older children, you can safely go to Turkey or Spain, where hotels offer entertaining animation programs.
Active recreation is always a joy
Many tourists prefer a much more active or even extreme pastime to a lazy July beach holiday.
For example, in the Alps, in addition to skiing on artificial snow tracks, you can do equally interesting hiking along mountain paths and gorges.
The same situation applies to the Ukrainian Carpathians, where many walking tours are organized aimed at getting to know the national flavor of the region.
If you want to take an exotic trip, you can choose South America to go skiing. Try ecotourism in Peru or Brazil.
Or even opt for New Zealand.
Where to go in your country
July is considered the high season not only abroad, but also in Russia itself. Patriotic-minded Russians will enjoy their native resorts in the Krasnodar Territory: Sochi, Adler, Tuapse, Anapa, Gelendzhik. True, you should not rely on the fact that in this way you will close the question of where to relax at sea in July inexpensively. Holidays in the Russian Federation in July can be unreasonably expensive, especially considering that the quality of service in our hotels and boarding houses does not always please even less-pampered travelers.
You can also choose an excursion tour to Moscow or St. Petersburg, where the number of attractions is simply huge and, as they say, for every taste and budget. You can also go to Kazan, which, no doubt, has something to surprise any traveler.
Holidays with children in Russia

If you're not on a budget and want to avoid crowded beaches, Baikal might be the perfect option. In addition, you can visit Altai, where kayaking tours are always available in summer and horseback riding is popular.
Which countries can you travel to without visas?
In the midst of vacations and school holidays, consulates have difficulty issuing visas. But those who are late to submit documents in advance or are not going to bother with them can be advised to go to countries with visa-free entry or so-called facilitated entry.
Very hot weather in mid-summer occurs in Turkey, Egypt and Cyprus. As tourists say, here you can swim, sunbathe and try exotic dishes and fruits for a very nominal price.
Magnificent weather awaits travelers on the coasts of Montenegro, Ukraine, Georgia and Abkhazia. Exotic and clean beaches can be visited in distant Hong Kong.
What you need to do in July
- Douse friends or passers-by with water. If the selected object begins to resist, say that, according to the sign, happiness awaits everyone who falls under the “water distribution”.
- Relax on Red Lake. Even local residents often go out to sunbathe and fish in their favorite corner in July.
- Go on a picnic. Moreover, this item can be combined with a vacation on a nearby lake or simply go to any city park.
- Eat strawberries. The berry is rich in vitamin C and iodine. In addition, it is successfully used in folk cosmetology.
- Watch a movie outdoors. Such a display is not only original, but also romantic. By the way, this is a great option for a date.
- Have fun cycling. You will get benefits for your body and pleasure in one bottle.
- Go hiking in the mountains. Moreover, there are plenty of peaks nearby: Kuznetsky Alatau, Belukha and Sinyukha in Altai.
- Jump with a parachute and overcome your fears. July is a great time for unforgettable emotions.
It is not at all necessary to fly abroad to have a good rest. Our huge country offers a number of beautiful places for a quality vacation - mountains, seas, and forests - as they say, “I don’t want to take it.” But everyone forgets something about our picturesque places when a last-minute trip to Turkey looms before their noses.
This is how it turns out that he has explored all the foreign resorts, wandered around Europe, vacationed on the Pacific islands, but has only seen Baikal in pictures, and knows little about the Caspian Sea at all.
In general, my dear compatriots, quickly pay attention to the vastness of our country. And it’s better in the summer, when it’s warmer, sunny, when the birds sing and the soul rejoices. And everything looks prettier, well, you know what our “fields and meadows” look like in the cold autumn and the flowing spring. For example, in July. A great month to explore your native lands.
In July, the weather in Russia is different everywhere – it’s a no brainer. Somewhere in the second month of summer it is already very hot, somewhere it’s just warm, somewhere it’s even somehow chilly. Still, it would be very difficult to describe the weather in Russia - the territory is too large.
For those who do not live in the capital, or even nearby, and have never been there, the doctor ordered them to pack their bags and go to conquer. However, you are unlikely to conquer it in a week, but you will see enough beautiful things. Moscow looks very festive in summer (again, not everywhere) - gentle sunshine, trees, lawns and flower beds, people on rollerblades and bicycles cutting through, everyone is in a great mood. And at this time it is dry and hot here: during the day + 25-26 ° C (sometimes + 33-35 ° C!), and at night, as necessary - + 10 ° C, maybe + 20 ° C. The weather in the capital is very unpredictable and different every year - it can be hotter both at the beginning and at the end of the month. By the way, in July there may be rain - but not much, 5 times in just a month, and even then, the rains are warm and somehow romantic (acidic in some places. Just kidding!).
You can also go to this eternally gray city, at least in the summer which looks a little more positive (although there is not much difference). In July it is cooler there than in Moscow - during the day about +22-23°C (sometimes it warms up to +30°C, but rarely), and at night from +12°C to +20°C. In any case, in the sun it will seem to you that it is very warm outside, walking at night is also very pleasant (you just want to throw on a blouse), however, there may be rains, and there may be even more of them than in the fall. But in reality this is not scary either. By the way, in July, an amazing natural phenomenon of this strip ends - “white nights”, a symbol of the city, which lasts from June 11 to July 10.
If you have already been to the two capitals more than once, and don’t find anything like that on your trips there, then I will recommend you an unusual trip. For example, to the Kola Peninsula. So what! The places there are simply amazing. The cities, of course, are not “nice and cozy”, but what rivers, lakes, hilltops, endless expanses of the Barents and White Seas... This is why it’s worth traveling a long (and for some, short) journey. Just don't expect hot weather. In the Murmansk region in July it is only +17-18 degrees, with rare “gifts” in the form of +28°C, and at night you can’t walk there in flip-flops, as you can easily catch a cold: sometimes it can be +5-6° C. In general, it is even more difficult to talk about the weather in this area, because... It’s very unpredictable there, but at least in July it’s not so severe.
If such prospects do not appeal to you - to freeze, but to take a well-deserved vacation - but you are keenly interested in the history of Russia and its rich heritage, then a trip to Golden Ring will fit perfectly. If you don’t know what it is and what it comes with, then I’ll explain: The Golden Ring of Russia is a tourist route that includes several ancient Russian cities with their unique historical and cultural monuments (Sergiev Posad, Rostov the Great, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Suzdal and Vladimir and others). Of course, in these parts it can be too hot in July, but, gentlemen, we are not in the desert, and you can always hide in the shade of the trees if the top of your head is too hot. Since we are talking about several cities, it is too difficult to talk about the weather. But the average temperature in July in this band is +25-26°C, but it can be cooler (up to 17-18 degrees), and it can be very hot (up to +32-33°C).
Today, travel companies are actively promoting trips to Karelia. And for good reason! Karelia is a real miracle and a uniquely beautiful region with noisy rivers, fluffy fragrant pines, crystal lakes and waterfalls - you can write long and colorfully about the landscapes of the Karelian region. It is very useful to go there in July, because the area itself is cool, and in the second month of summer it will be more comfortable to spend the night in tents or rafting down rivers (if you have chosen this type of trip). If you look at the numbers, then in the region in July the average is +21-22°C, while in the sun the air can warm up to +29-30°C, but the nights can be completely chilly (up to +10°C).
And yet, hikes are hikes, but I want to go to the sea. We have a lot of seas, but we want to go to the southern ones. For example, to the Caspian. Where . Many do not take these regions into account, preferring the resorts of the Black Sea region. But in vain, because the Astrakhan region is an incredible expanse of water, lakes, old churches, excellent fishing, in the end. And in July it’s a good time to go here, because in July the lotuses for which this region is so famous begin to bloom.
During the day in the Astrakhan Territory in July it is hot, on average +33-35°C, and in the sun it can be even hotter, up to +38-40°C. There is practically no rain in July, there is a lot of sunshine - beautiful! And the nights here are pleasant and warm, +23…+26°C. If you are staying specifically in Astrakhan, then there will be problems with swimming in the Caspian Sea. Oddly enough, there are absolutely no normal beaches here, even on local rivers. Therefore, everyone goes to the much more comfortable beaches of neighboring Dagestan or Kazakhstan, although the path is not particularly close.
Since we mentioned it Black Sea, then we’ll talk about these regions. It is in July that people begin to actively pack their belongings and head to Gelendzhik, Anapa and Sochi. Perhaps, in terms of service, the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory are slightly inferior to Turkish and Egyptian cities, but you can still have a very cool holiday there! Naturally, the weather depends on the location of the resort - after all, the seashore is long! In Anapa, the average daytime temperature is about +28°C; in Sochi, which is located further south and where the climate is more humid, the average day is a couple of degrees hotter both day and night. And the water in the sea in July is already warming up quite well, although it is not the warmest of the whole year. On average, the sea temperature this month is +25-27°C, while the water gets warmer towards the last week of July, and the waters also become noticeably warmer when moving south.
Sea of Azov It’s a little less popular among our tourists, because it’s much shallower – but it’s great to go there with kids, especially since by July the water in the sea warms up very well.
And in the Krasnodar region there are a lot of beautiful places - caves, waterfalls, mountain gorges, dolmens - in addition to a beach holiday, at this time you can go on excursions and learn a lot of new and interesting things.
IN Stavropol region, where a number of mineral water resorts are located, is also very cool to visit in July. There is clean mountain air, gorgeous views, healing mud, in short, if you have exhausted your body over the course of a year - no foreign resorts: urgently seek treatment in the Stavropol Territory! In the mountainous region it is always a little cooler than on the coast, but you won’t be very cold here either.
Mountain republics of Russia - Dagestan, Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia– this is also a great destination for your next vacation! Don’t underestimate these places: there really are a lot of interesting, tasty, beautiful things there. There are also amazing ancient sights there. What is it worth - the oldest city in Russia and one of the oldest “living” cities in the world. The weather in different areas of this area is different, and plus conditions can vary depending on the altitude at which the city stands. But in general, July in these regions is not bad - on average +25-26°C during the day (sometimes much warmer, over +30 degrees).
It should also be noted Baikal. The pearl of Russia, the diamond of Eastern Siberia, the deepest lake on the planet! Just think! At least once in their life, every resident of our country simply must visit there. It’s just a pity that by mid-summer the water in Baikal may become a little cloudy, but still, the views are amazing! But swimming in Baikal is always chilly. But all the same, with a tent, on the shore of Lake Baikal, by the fire - oh, how great! The weather there, of course, is unpredictable, but in July it is quite warm near the shores of the lake, on average +27-28°C (and sometimes up to +35°C), but at night you want to warm yourself, as it can be very cold - up to +10 °C.
Thus, there really are an incredible number of beautiful places in Russia. And a lifetime is not enough to explore Russia to the end. So maybe we should start now?
July is considered the best month for traveling around Russia. In many regions the weather is sunny, without rain.
The beaches of the Black Sea coast are packed to capacity in July. The average air temperature in Anapa, Gelendzhik, Sochi reaches +27...+28 °C, the water warms up to +22 °C. By the way, many parents do not risk going on vacation with their children abroad: children may not tolerate the trip well. In addition, if a child gets injured or gets sick, a doctor who speaks Russian is easier to understand. And it’s easier to return home from our resorts than from another country.
For fishermen, Karelia is the best destination. For lovers of sightseeing tours - trips to Moscow, St. Petersburg, both Novgorods, Pskov, the Volga region. Extreme sports enthusiasts and fans of outdoor activities go to Baikal, Kamchatka and Altai, where you can go down wild rivers, travel on foot or on horseback.
And in Russia there are many offers of river cruises, for example, along the Volga - from Nizhny Novgorod to Tver.
Festivals, holidays, concerts
Summer is a traditional time for holding all kinds of holidays and music festivals. In Europe, rock festivals are held almost every week, where you can see the world's best performers in one or two days. Austria is especially striking - classical music concerts are constantly held here, bands perform right on the streets, and live music is heard in the cities almost 24 hours a day.
Also in Europe there are colorful processions and carnivals associated with national holidays and traditions. If you go on a trip along the Danube or Rhine, you can see directly from the deck of the ship how city residents celebrate their holidays.
