The cabins of Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft, which Pobeda Airlines flies, are equipped only with economy class. This was done in order to save costs. If for some reason there is a replacement of the board, the passengers' seats will remain the same, since all the airline's planes are the same. In order to choose the most convenient place for your flight, we offer you a diagram of the Pobeda aircraft cabin.
When purchasing air tickets on the official website of Pobeda Airlines, the reservation system offers passengers to choose seats based on the load of the aircraft for an additional fee. Passengers are assigned free seats in the aircraft cabin upon check-in for the flight.
When purchasing air tickets for an adult with a child, the reservation system assigns nearby seats for free. The system will automatically assign seats next to each other for only one accompanying adult and a child. For example, if a mother, father and 5-year-old daughter are flying, then mother and daughter will be seated next to each other, but father will not.
Passengers can choose seats in the cabin themselves, rather than using those offered by the system for free. You have to pay extra to choose a seat. If you have already purchased air tickets and want to change your seat, you can do this through your personal account on the airline’s official website or by calling the call center no later than 4 hours before departure.

Pobeda is one of the most economical airlines in Russia. For little money you can fly to another city in the country or even abroad. With a low price for transportation, Pobeda planes are quite good, so you don’t have to worry about your safety. The airline's newest aircraft are the Boeing 737-800; there are 12 of these aircraft in total.
Specifications
The Boeing 737-800 was produced in 2014-2015, and the company immediately purchased several aircraft. Aircraft have the following parameters:
- Maximum speed – 850 km/h.
- The maximum length of the route is about 6,000 km.
- Capacity – about 200 seats.
By purchasing such Boeings, Pobeda significantly increased passenger traffic on its routes.
The video shows the complete assembly of a Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Pobeda Airlines, as well as the takeoff of the airliner:
Interior layout
All of the airline's Boeing 737-800s look the same. The salon has a standard layout - 3 seats in a row on each side. The distance between the rows is not very large, and the passage for passengers and crew is only slightly more than 75 centimeters. Also, in airplane cabins, the seat backs do not recline, so you won’t be able to lie down for a while. There are toilets at the nose and tail of the aircraft. Buffets and a kitchen area are located at the front of the plane.
Best places
Pobeda aircraft are offered only in economy class; passengers usually do not choose seats; this can only be done for an additional fee. But if it is important for you to choose a seat, then take a closer look at the interior layout to determine the suitable seats for yourself.
So, the best places are:
- First row seats A, B, C. These seats are located near the exit, so there is more legroom. But these places also have their disadvantages, the main one of which is that the toilet is located nearby, so sounds from this room will be heard. In addition, people going to the toilet or waiting in line may interfere.
- Second row seats D, E, F. These seats are similar to the first row, but only in front of them is a buffet. There are advantages to this, such as the fact that you will be served first. Another plus is that these seats have more legroom. The downside is that you will feel smells and sounds from the kitchen, and there will also be a partition in front of you.
- Rows 15 and 16. In these places you can calmly stretch your legs, because the distance between the rows is large due to the fact that there are emergency exits there. But, like all chairs, it has its drawbacks: on the side seats, which are near the window, there may be no outer armrests. And in these places, all hand luggage will have to be put on the top shelf according to safety regulations. During the briefing, the stewards will separately tell you the rules for using emergency exits, so if you do not want to listen to the crew additionally, then it is better not to buy tickets for these seats. In addition, the seats in the 15th and 16th rows are considered seats of increased comfort, and their prices are higher.
Worst places
In addition to the best seats in the aircraft cabin, there are also worse ones, and there are quite a few of them, so be careful when choosing a seat!
Location of bad seats in the cabin:
- 32 row. This is the very last row on the plane. It's located near the restrooms, so people can form a line that will end up next to you. People may also be bothered by smells and sounds from restrooms. In addition, the seat backs do not recline, so you will not be able to take a nap during the flight.
- 12 row seats A and F. These seats cannot be chosen by those who like to look out the window, because there is simply no window there. On some planes, the same pattern is observed in row 11, so choose a seat away from these rows.
Since Pobeda does not have a business class, there are no very comfortable seats on the Boeing 737-800. Each location has its own pros and cons that you need to consider when choosing a location.
- In the tail of the plane, the seats are often slightly narrower than in the rest of the cabin, so take this factor into account.
- Turbulence is felt most strongly in the tail section of the aircraft. If you get motion sickness, choose places above the wings, where you hardly feel the motion.
- Study the seat layout on the airline's website, especially if you are flying with children. The diagram should indicate the location for attaching strollers. For example, the Boeing company Pobeda does not have it.
- If it's important for you to eat quickly on the plane, then choose the first rows in the nose and the first rows after the emergency exits in the middle of the plane. They start distributing food from there.
Pobeda Airlines is an excellent low-cost carrier. The company has its own strict rules for the transportation of baggage and hand luggage, but this is nothing, considering the cheapness of flight tickets. The company's planes are standard, very comfortable, so it's quite easy to fly, despite all the shortcomings that can be found.
The Pobeda company is a subsidiary of Aeroflot and the first Russian low-cost airline. The main goal of the company is to provide the cheapest air tickets possible, to the detriment of comfort and other services. On the flights of this airline you will not find business or, especially, premium class lounges. All seats here are exclusively economy class. This does not mean that you will fly like a “bucket”. The company's planes are new (from 2014), the cabins are clean. If you want more comfort and service during the flight, please pay extra and you will be happy.
In total, the company has 12 Boeing 737-800 models at its disposal. The interior layout is designed for 189 seats. The seat reservation policy is based on the principle: the more comfortable the seat, the higher the price. Let's study the airplane cabin layout in more detail and determine the most comfortable and worst places to fly.
Row 1. Good places to fly. This is the first row in the cabin, so there is a lot of legroom in the front. Plus, no one will lean back on you. The only remark is about place “C”, since it is located on the route to the toilet. You may get elbowed here. However, these are minor things. For booking the first row you will be asked for an additional 399 rubles (the price may vary depending on the distance of the flight).Row 2. seats D, E, F. This row is very similar to the first. There is legroom, no one gets in the way in front. You can recline your chair and sleep peacefully. This row also costs an additional 399 rubles (per seat).
Row 14. Not the most comfortable places. There is an emergency exit behind, so the seat backs are limited in their ability to tip over. Because of this, they can reject you without any problems. Hence the additional discomfort during the flight. These are some of the cheapest seats in the cabin.
Row 15-16. Good places to book, and at the same time the most expensive. There is a lot of legroom here, as the emergency exit separates the seat from the next row. You will have to pay an additional 599 rubles for the reservation (depending on the flight distance). Due to safety precautions, small children, elderly people and disabled people cannot sit here (this point should be clarified with the airline).
Row 31. The row is very noisy, as it is located a few meters from the entrance to the toilet. It is especially not recommended to book seats C and D, as they are the outermost seats on the aisle. Here you can be touched by elbows, leaned on, etc.
Row 32. The most uncomfortable seats, as they are located closest to the toilet, which will be used by most of the aircraft cabin. It is noisier here, someone is constantly walking and talking. The sounds of the drain tank can be heard throughout the flight. There is a possibility that the backs of the chairs do not recline due to the partition separating the salon and the toilet. In general, complete discomfort. By the way, these are also the cheapest places. If you want to save money, you will have to be patient.
The Russian low-cost airline Pobeda found itself at the center of a scandal after flight attendants did not allow a married couple with a child to sit together and even called the police upon boarding the airport. But this is not the first time that Pobeda passengers have encountered difficulties. Medialeaks decided to come to the aid of passengers and created instructions on how to fly with a Russian low-cost airline without any problems.
Paid help
A fairly logical solution to avoid problems at the airport and on board the plane is to call the airline’s hotline and ask everything that interests you. But here you need to be careful: Pobeda, like most low-cost airlines, aims to make a profit in all possible ways, including through paid telephone information.
The cost of a call is from 55 to 60.17 rubles/min. (excluding VAT) depending on the region and operator, including waiting time and conversation with the operator.
That is, you will also have to pay for a few minutes of Mozart on the phone. You pay the same rate if you order additional services over the phone, such as a seat with extra legroom or extra luggage space.
Therefore, to save money, we advise you to go to the Pobeda website and carefully read the section “Rules of Transportation” (and this article), and order all services on board when booking tickets online.
How to choose the right seats
Just the other day, when a couple with a three-month-old child sat together on a plane, despite the prohibition of the Pobeda flight attendant. To avoid this problem, you need to use the seat selection service at the stage of booking and purchasing tickets.
After you have entered your personal data and selected the number of pieces of luggage, the site will prompt you to select boarding seats. Their cost varies from 149 rubles for regular seats to 999 rubles for seats with increased legroom.
Thus, for just 149 rubles you can secure a flight next to your companion. If this is not necessary, then click on the “continue without selecting seats” button and the reception will assign you a random seat.
Replacement of a pre-booked seat is free of charge, but must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure. If you want to upgrade your seat to a more expensive one, such as a seat with extra legroom, you will need to pay the difference between the two fares.
You cannot pay for the seat selection service at the airport, but if it happens that you did not select a seat when booking your tickets, ask the employee at the check-in counter to give you seats nearby.
But remember that this is a matter of the human factor: a Pobeda employee is not obliged to meet you halfway. There is an assumption that at check-in counters passengers will be encouraged to purchase seats.
Changing seats on the plane is strictly prohibited. According to Pobeda rules, all passengers are required to sit in the seats indicated on their tickets. But in practice, you can always ask your neighbor to change places with you during the seating phase. Flight attendants are unlikely to notice this substitution. However, no one will just let you sit in empty seats.
A backpack is not a briefcase, or how to carry hand luggage
Most problems for Pobeda passengers arise from luggage and hand luggage. According to the airline's rules, you can take it with you for free in your hand luggage. only one item from this list: handbag, briefcase, baby food and cradle, outerwear or suit in a briefcase, laptop, umbrella, bouquet of flowers, camera, video camera.
But the question arises: what is meant by a briefcase and a handbag? After all, the latter can be either an inconspicuous clutch or a huge “trunk”.
A “handbag” is understood as a small bag of a rectangular, oblong or soft shape, designed for carrying small household items or cosmetics, the dimensions of which do not exceed 75 centimeters in the sum of three dimensions. A handbag can be equipped with a shoulder strap or chain, and have handles made of leather, textile, metal, plastic or bamboo.
At the same time, you cannot carry a beach or sports bag in your hand luggage for free; the style of your bag will be determined by the airline employees themselves, so it is better to choose the most neutral one, without flowers or other bright decor.
With a briefcase it is even more interesting; it is a briefcase or a laptop bag that is carried in the hand or on a shoulder strap. In the understanding of “Victory”, a backpack is not a briefcase.
A “briefcase” is understood as a narrow rectangular bag, the dimensions of which do not exceed 75 cm in the sum of three dimensions, designed for carrying documents (papers), books, a laptop computer, as well as small items and having corresponding compartments in the internal space.
You cannot carry a backpack, bag, box, beach or sports bag for free, even if they are no larger than the stated dimensions for briefcases and handbags. That is, if you are flying with a backpack and there is a laptop inside it, which you do not want to check in as luggage, take the laptop on board in your hands, the rules do not prohibit this.
For every item that does not qualify for free, or for every second item that you take on board, you need to pay extra. Carry-on baggage rates differ between booking online and paying at the airport, as with many airlines.
But Pobeda has a catch when paying at the airport: different rates apply for carry-on luggage at the check-in counter or at the counter at the gate. On the company's website they are indicated with a dash.
That is, absolutely all items that you take on board must be presented at the check-in counter. You must attach a tag to each bag or item that you transport separately. At the counter upon boarding, things are checked again, and if you have something without a tag, you will have to pay for it, but more.
At the gate, you will have to pay the same rates for packages of goods purchased in Duty Free shops at the airport. You can only carry your purchases without additional cost if you can put them in your free or paid for check-in carry-on bags.
Beware of the odds
For free, a Pobeda passenger can check in one item no larger than 158 centimeters in three dimensions and no heavier than 10 kilograms. For every kilogram of excess weight you need to pay 500 rubles on domestic flights and 10 euros on international flights.
Even 100 grams or less is considered “overweight” in the case of Pobeda, so be sure to weigh your bags before going to the airport and try to keep them lighter than the limits stated by the airline.
Separate rates apply for additional bags checked as checked luggage.
How to transport food and water
Pobeda Airlines provides passengers with drinking water on board free of charge. It can be carried by flight attendants, or passengers must go to the kitchen themselves.
Unlike other low-cost airlines, food and drinks cannot be purchased on Pobeda planes, so you need to take care of your own food. You can take groceries on board provided that they are in free or paid hand luggage bags, which we wrote about in detail above. You will have to pay extra for individual food packages.
Liquids can be carried in bottles with a volume of no more than 100 milliliters, with a total volume of no more than a liter. Everything here is the same as on flights of any other airlines. It is prohibited to take hot drinks on board.
Alcohol can only be purchased from Duty Free on the day of the trip; the bottle must be sealed in a bag and cannot be opened or consumed during the flight.
