In order to visit sunny Spain, our citizens need a visa. As a rule, a visa is issued for a short period of time, allowing you to temporarily stay in Spain and other countries of the Schengen zone. A visa is valid for several days (issued for the duration of the trip), or issued for several years. Most people are wary of going through the Spanish visa process themselves, preferring to go to a travel agency. In fact, there is nothing super complicated in this procedure, and the only difference in the execution of a document when applying to an agency is that all the collected information, documented, is not assigned to the consulate by you, but by the agent. And the most tedious task is collecting the necessary papers, you will have to do it yourself. To date, the process of obtaining a visa to Spain is not so complicated, the main thing is that everyone Required documents were properly formatted. And below we will tell you exactly how.

The Consulate of Spain is loyal to the citizens of the Russian Federation. In 95% of cases, you will be approved for a 6-month multiple-entry visa even on the first application (this does not apply to urgent visa requests). Thus, the Spanish government is trying to increase the attractiveness of the country for tourists. Most applicants are not aware of such a “generosity” of the Spanish consulate, which can be used by mercenary agencies, promising each of their clients a multiple-entry visa, and even for six months at once. Even if you still decide to apply to the agency, be aware that the approved multiple entry visa is absolutely not their merit.
Of course, there are exceptions when the Spaniards issue visas for a shorter period, or instead of a Schengen visa they issue a national Spanish visa (not a Schengen visa), according to which, except for Spain, you cannot get anywhere. However, most often this happens with applicants who have previously been noted for incorrect use of visas, "bad behavior" or violation of the law or visa regime in the territory, having a corresponding note about themselves in the database. Such cases are indeed few, however, they cannot be completely ruled out. Carefully read the visa issuance.
