Airbus a 320 aeroflot best seats. Airbus A320 cabin layout: the best seats. Airbus A320 Aeroflot best seats in economy class
The Airbus A320 aircraft is one of the best narrow-body aircraft of all Airbus products. This company produces airliners of high quality and comfort; Airbus aircraft are economical on short and medium distance routes.
The Airbus A320 made its first flight in 1987 and immediately won recognition in world civil aviation. This aircraft can carry from 150 to 180 people. In the first case, business class seats are arranged 2+2, and in economy class – 3+3. To understand which seats on the plane are considered the best, you need to familiarize yourself with the seating chart.
Aeroflot actively uses Airbuses in its fleet. The total number of these aircraft reaches 67 units. Let's look at the location of seats on the Airbus 320 now.
The Airbus A320 cabin layout has several options. Each of them does not infringe on passenger comfort. The following options are available:
- four-seater (business class);
- five-seater;
- six-seater.
In the picture you can see the location of the seats and the width of the aisles.
As with all aircraft, business class seats are located at the head of the aircraft. In the Airbus A320 this is row 1-5. The step between the rows is small, but it is enough to make passengers feel comfortable. It is worth noting some features of the first row:
- There is a mount for a baby cradle on the wall in front of the passenger;
- a passenger in the first row does not have to worry that the back of the seat in front will recline on him;
- However, in the first rows there are no footrests, like for passengers in the next rows.
Numbering of seats on Airbus A320 Aeroflot aircraft
We invite you to study the numbering of seats for passengers planning to fly on an Airbus A320; the cabin layout is also posted on the Internet.
There are both bad and best seats on the plane. Aeroflot provides aircraft cabin seat maps freely available on the Internet. There are also standard places; being in them has neither any advantages nor disadvantages.
The figure above shows a diagram of the Airbus A320 aircraft. Aeroflot allows you to choose suitable seats yourself if desired.

The best seats in the Airbus A320
The best seats on the plane are considered to be the sixth, ninth (with comments), and tenth row. Concerning sixth row, then you don't have to worry about this:
- backrests reclined in front;
- you will receive your food first, because it is from you that the food is distributed;
- There are mounts for cradles, which is convenient when flying with children.
Among the negative aspects, one can highlight the limited space for outstretched legs; not everyone is comfortable looking at a blank wall all the way.
In the ninth row The backrests, unfortunately, do not recline, but there is free legroom. You can easily let your neighbors pass without leaving your seat. Tenth row, seats A and F somewhat skewed due to the emergency exit, while there is more legroom than usual, the backrests also recline as standard.
The most comfortable and best seats on the Aeroflot A320 economy class aircraft are in the tenth row B, C, D, and E.
There is a lot of space for outstretched legs due to the proximity to the emergency exit, the seats recline quietly, the seats are not sloping like A and F. There is only one limitation - you cannot put hand luggage at the feet. Only this moment is unlikely to upset passengers in these seats.
Remember, passengers with children, elderly people and people with disabilities will not be seated in rows 9 and 10; emergency exits must be vacated mobile in emergency cases.
The Ural Airlines fleet includes 19 Airbus A320 aircraft. This is a reliable and popular aircraft all over the world. It is not surprising that this model is represented in the company by the largest number.
The company does not have any new Airbus A320. Absolutely all aircraft were once purchased “used”. The oldest of them is the VP-BFZ board. The airliner made its first flight in September 1997 and was operated by Airworld, Ryan International Airlines, Flying Colors Airlines, JMC Airlines and Thomas Cook Airlines. The youngest of this series is the VQ-BNI board. The airliner made its first flight in March 2008 and was operated by only one airline (besides Ural Airlines): CEBU Pacific Air. Thus, the average age of aircraft is 12 – 13 years.
Unlike the model, which the company has in one layout, the A320 has a two-class cabin. There are 12 seats in business class and 144 seats in economy class. The capacity of the liner is thus 156 seats.
The seating layout presented on the airline's official website is as follows:
Let's look at the cabin layout in more detail and highlight the best and worst places to fly.
Row 1-3. The first rows are traditionally allocated to the best seats, in this case – to business class. There is nothing special about Ural Airlines business class. Here you will find increased distance between the rows of seats, wider seats, an individual menu and a calm interior. For this you pay extra money.
Row 4. This is where the Airbus economy class begins and the first serious disadvantages appear. But let's start with the positives. The fourth row is one of the best in terms of comfort in an economy cabin. In front of the seats there is only a partition separating the cabin from the business class. This means that no one will disturb the reclined back of the chair. The distance from the partition to the chair is enough to stretch your legs. Plus, there are no toilets or kitchens nearby, which means the row is quieter. Add to this the absence of problems with cold and stuffiness.
The disadvantages are that such places are dismantled first. Passengers with children also like to sit here. Will you like this neighborhood? It's not the same for everybody…
Row 9. Not the best places to fly. There is an emergency exit behind, so the seat backs are locked and do not recline. It will be very difficult to sleep here. Be that as it may, this point should be clarified with airline representatives. According to reviews from passengers flying with Ural Airlines, in some planes the seats in the 9th row were reclining freely.
Row 10. There are both pros and cons here. The advantage is that the row in front is blocked, which means your neighbor’s chair will not disturb you. The emergency exit also creates additional legroom. The downside is that there is a second emergency exit behind, so the seat backs are also blocked and do not recline.
Row 11. Good places to fly. The seat backs recline freely and there is plenty of legroom. The only thing is that in places A and F one armrest on the side of the aircraft wall may be missing. We remind you that pregnant women, passengers with small children, animals, disabled people and the elderly are not allowed to sit in places with emergency exits.
Row 26, seats C and D. The only place where there are toilets in economy class is at the tail of the plane. There will always be increased passenger traffic, constant queues, bustle and conversations. Places C and D are not only close to the toilets, but they are also the outermost ones to the aisle.
Row 27. The outermost row is the most undesirable place for flying. The seats rest against the partition from the toilet, so they are limited in reclining. The sounds of the drain tank can be heard throughout the flight. There will always be people waiting in line near your seat (especially in seats C and D). It can also be cold in the last rows - you will have to ask the flight attendants for blankets or stock up on warm clothes.
The Russian airline Aeroflot is one of the most reliable, and it operates 169 aircraft of various models. The average age of the aircraft fleet is 4.3 years. This is an indication that Aeroflot, among other things, has fairly new aircraft. Of these, the majority, namely 63 aircraft, are airbus a 320. This aircraft is always popular with airlines due to its convenience for passengers and reliability. According to the Aeroflot Airbus A320 scheme, the best seats can be chosen long before purchasing air tickets.

Features of the location of seats
Airbus manufacturers offer several configurations of the A320 aircraft. However, Aeroflot Airlines uses 2 of them in its aircraft fleet:
- 20/120
- 8/150
Business Class
There are only 5 rows, each of them has 2 chairs, which are located on both sides of the aisle. On the diagram of the cabin of the Aeroflot Airbus A320 aircraft, you can see that just before the start of business class there are partitions. They have special mounts for baby bassinets, so these are ideal seats for those traveling with a child. In addition, there is a toilet nearby, which is also convenient. However, it is worth considering that in the 1st row the seats do not have a footrest, which may cause some inconvenience.
Business class has very comfortable and wide seats, the backs of which recline so much that you can relax and take a nap during the flight. Behind the last row there is a thin wall that will separate you from economy class. It's not exactly effective against noise, so it might bother you.
Economy class
6th row. On the diagram of the Airbus A320 aircraft cabin, some of the best seats are located here. There is enough distance between the chairs and the wall in front to comfortably place your legs and put your bag. There are special fasteners attached to the partition on which baby cradles are hung. Therefore, there is a high probability that even if you fly without a child, your neighbors may be passengers with babies.
On the other hand, it is from these places that food and drinks begin to be served, so you will get a choice from a full range. But the passengers in the rear will have to be content with what is left.
8th row. These seats are located in front of the emergency exits; for this reason, the seat backs here either will not recline at all, or this ability is very limited.
9th row. The backs of these seats also do not recline, as there is another pair of emergency exits behind them. However, there is enough space in front of the row to comfortably place your feet during the flight. Plus, you won't have to disturb your neighbors if you want to leave your seat. The only caveat is that the seats near the windows may be slightly sloping.
10th row. The seats here are also located near the emergency hatches, but there is a lot of free legroom in front of them, and the backrests recline, making them most comfortable. But the seats near the windows are slightly crooked.
Places near escape hatches have a number of restrictions:
- You cannot place bags on the floor in front of you or under chairs.
- Tickets for these seats are not sold to passengers with animals or children, disabled people, teenagers under 16 years old, or pregnant women.
24th row. The most uncomfortable seats are those located near the aisle, as other passengers will walk past them to go to the toilet, and the flight attendants may hit you with the trolley.
25th row. According to the cabin layout of the Airbus industrie a320 jet airline Aeroflot, these places are the most uncomfortable. They are located near the toilets. This may lead to the fact that other passengers will disturb you throughout the flight. They can knock on the door and touch you. Also, foreign and unpleasant odors and sounds will be heard from the bathroom. In addition, the seat backs here do not have the ability to fully recline.
In the A320 model aircraft with an 8 by 150 configuration, emergency exits are located in front of rows 12 and 13.
Airbus A320– the most popular type of aircraft in the Aeroflot airline fleet. Liners of this type are capable of carrying up to 158 passengers and transporting them over a distance of up to 6,150 km.

Amenities in the cabin of the Airbus A320 Aeroflot
Personally, I like that all Aeroflot aircraft of this type are equipped with USB sockets that are installed in each seat. This is important, especially when flying with transfers. It is possible to recharge your phone, gadgets, and photographic equipment.
USB sockets are located in the seat in front of you, at the bottom. Look carefully.
By the way, Aeroflot also has a cool feature on the Airbus A320 - it distributes entertainment content via Wi-Fi. That is, if you haven’t downloaded movies and music with you on the road, then a whole set of films, cartoons and various audio has already been prepared for you. There are even video clips.
It works like this: connect to Aeroflot’s Wi-Fi network, and you will automatically be transferred to their application. There is no need to install anything. Personally, I most often use the page that displays flight data and the location of the aircraft.
The main thing is that your gadgets are charging (see above about USB sockets) and there is something to do during the flight. In this regard, Aeroflot is certainly cool in caring so much about passengers.
The best seats in the Airbus A320 Aeroflot
Of course, the best seats are in business class, there is more space and better service. But if you fly in economy, then there are many criteria and everyone has their own.
For me, the best seats on the A320 are near the window in front of the wing or further behind the wing. Moreover, if you want to have only one porthole, then choose odd-numbered seats (for example, 25A or 27F). If you choose even-numbered seats, you will have two windows, and, frankly, they are located inconveniently. See photo.
If you are shy and don’t like to disturb your neighbors by constantly running to the toilet, then choose seats near the aisle (C and D). However, then you will be deprived of beautiful views from the porthole.
If you are a long-legged beauty or just a two-meter tall guy, then of course choose the chairs near the emergency exit, where there is more room for your legs. However, remember that the backrests do not recline; pregnant women, disabled people, and passengers with children are prohibited from occupying these seats for safety reasons. Also, if you're flying on an Airbus A321 (which is slightly longer than an A320), these wonderful seats are located right next to the toilets, and the extra space is usually filled with passengers shuffling from foot to foot while waiting for their turn to use the restroom.
Use it to find the best places for you.
What do they feed on the Airbus A320 Aeroflot
On flights lasting up to 6 hours, passengers are offered light snacks, a sandwich, as well as hot and cold drinks. On flights over 6 hours, Aeroflot airline serves a hot lunch.
After takeoff, you will be fed a sandwich and offered drinks. To be honest, I like S7 Airlines’ sandwiches better. I hope that one day, after all, the time will return when economy class passengers will be given decent food. In the meantime, a full meal is a paid service.
By the way, for some time Aeroflot also pleased with the free choice of seats on the plane during online check-in. But now this service is paid.
In principle, I continue to choose this airline because I like the service on board (which I described above), the fact that the flight attendants are festively dressed and in the traditions of the airline there is a reverence for flights, which coincides with my feelings.
We have written a lot about one of the most popular airliners of our time, the Airbus A320. You can read a detailed review, and about choosing the best seats on the ship.
Now we will look at a special case of the Airbus A320 configuration, namely the one it uses on its flights. In total, this airline's fleet includes 80 A320 aircraft.
Let's look at the Airbus A320 cabin diagrams available on the Aeroflot website
For convenience, we will depict one of them schematically and figure out which seats are best to book and which ones should not be taken or taken as a last resort.
Let me note that while quite recently all Aeroflot A320 aircraft had the same configuration, now there are already two of them. The only difference is the ratio of business and economy class seats. Let's look at both of these schemes and see where the best seats are located on the Aeroflot Airbus A320 and where you will be more comfortable during the flight.
Airbus A320 interior diagram Aeroflot. Option 1
Seats in rows 1-5. These are business class seats. In these narrow-body Aeroflot aircraft, the pitch between the rows in the business is not very large when compared with the wide-body long-haul Airbus A330. However, “business class” is “business class”. Let us note several features of the first row:
- 1. No one will recline their seat back on you, since the angle of inclination of business chairs is quite large, this is important.
- 2. On the wall in front of you there are mounts for baby bassinets. Therefore, there is a possibility that there will be passengers with small children next to you. Although in business class this happens extremely rarely and is rather an exception to the rule.
- 3. The seats in the first row do not have a “footrest”; it is just a comfortable footrest. On these aircraft it is installed under the seat in front.
Seats in the 6th row. Located in front of the partition separating business class from economy class passengers. These places also have several features, both positive and negative:
- 1. Just like in the first row of business class, no one will lean back their seat on you. In economy class this is even more important, since the distance between rows is minimal.
- 2. You will receive food first, as passenger service begins from your row.
- 3. There is enough room for your knees, but you won’t be able to stretch your legs forward very much.
- 4. There are mounts in the wall for cribs, so it is possible to be close to babies.
- 5. Some passengers are not very comfortable looking at the wall the entire flight.
Perhaps these are all the features of the 6th row in this configuration. Whether or not you should book these places is up to you to decide.
Seats in the 8th row. These seats are worse than standard economy class seats as there are emergency exits immediately behind them. Because of this, the seat backs do not recline or are severely limited in this regard.
Seats in the 9th row. The backrests in this row are also locked, however, there is one very significant advantage. The distance to the 8th row has been increased, so there is a lot of free legroom. Your neighbors won't bother you much if they want to leave their seats. Locations A and F are slightly worse due to the fact that they are located near the escape hatch.
Seats 10A and 10F These chairs have enough legroom and the backrests recline as standard. However, due to the close proximity to the emergency door, the seats are missing one armrest. And the hatch design itself sticks out a little.
Seats in row 10 B,C,D,E The best economy class seats on board. They are also called places of increased comfort. The seat backs recline quietly and there is plenty of legroom. You will be very comfortable here during your flight.
Remember that these places have some restrictions! Carry-on luggage cannot be placed at the feet and under the seats, blocking the passage to the hatches.
Let's add that at 9 and 10 Passengers with children and animals, passengers with disabilities and elderly people are not allowed to fly in rows.
Row 24, seats C and D— proximity to toilets can be inconvenient.
Last 25 row. Some of the seat backs in this row do not recline, and the proximity to the toilets is not the most pleasant neighborhood.
“Wanters” will constantly walk around you, and sometimes small queues will form. The sounds of a slamming door and a lowering tank accompanying all this will also not add pleasant impressions during the flight.
Register for such places as a last resort when there are no other options!
