A little history about the Savelovskoe direction
By order of Savva Mamontov, who was a philanthropist, as well as a director and at the same time a shareholder of the Moscow-Yaroslavl Railway, a railway from Moscow to Savelovo began to be built from the capital to Savelovo. This event dates back to the end of the twentieth century. The opening of this direction was carried out in the last month of 1900 on the Beskudnovo-Savelovo section. Primarily, this section was connected to the Moscow-Yaroslavl railway using a branch called Beskudnikovskaya. But already in 1902, after just a couple of years, the Moscow-Beskudnikovo section was opened. Almost 30 years later, that is, in 1930, the Verbilki-Bolshaya Volga line was launched, but was soon removed during the outbreak of the war and only in 1950 was returned to its previous state and extended right up to Dubna, but this happened only in 1969 .
Modern progress
There is a connection from the Sheremetyevo platform to the airport of the same name. Aeroexpress trains were planned to run along it, but in 2010 four standard electric trains were launched along the route every day, then they were cancelled. In June 2008, Aeroexpress trains began running on schedule from the Belorussky Station without stopping.
Landing platforms
The entire length of the route is equipped with high platforms. Additionally, turnstiles for passenger flow control (ASOCUPE) are equipped at Savelovsky station, Timiryazevskaya platform, Dmitrov, Beskudnikovo station (July 2014), Lobnya (Aeroexpress trains only).
January 2016 marked the beginning of equipping the Lianozovo and Dolgoprudnaya platforms with access devices. Signs with names have been repainted from blue-orange to dark red. Message modernization is progressing. The track park was updated in 1994, Lobnya, Mark stations. The Sheremetyevo platform was updated in both directions following the launch of the Aeroexpress train in 2008 with the Savyolovsky Station - Sheremetyevo Terminal connection, but later the Belorussky Station was appointed as the starting point.
