All the main attractions of the city are located in Zone-1. Aerobus
Airbus buses: A1 and A2 are branded comfortable express buses that run from both airport terminals to Plaça Catalunya and from Plaça Catalunya to the airport.

Metro stations for access to the airport are located at the end of line L9 (orange line) - first Terminal T2, then the final one - Terminal T1. The entrance to the metro is on floor P0, near the bus stop.

The duration from Zona Universitaria station to Terminal T1 is 32 minutes. Trains run every 7 minutes.
To travel to the airport by metro you need a “Bitllet Aeroport” ticket. Its price from any station is €4.5*.
Important! Single Ticket and T-10 card are not valid for travel to airport stops.
When getting off at Aeroport T1 and T2 stations, you must confirm your ticket in the machine. If there is no ticket or it is invalid, you must purchase a new one in order to exit.
By taxi
El Prat Airport taxis await passengers around the clock at special stands: Terminal T1 - floor P0; Terminal T2 (T2A, T2B, T2C,) - near the buildings. You can follow the signs for the nearest taxi rank.

There are three taxi tariffs in Barcelona:
- Tariff T-1 - €1.07 per 1 km, plus €2.10 for car delivery and €21.23 for one hour of waiting:

- Tariff T-2 - €1.30 per 1 km, plus €2.10 for car delivery and €21.70 per hour of waiting:

- Tariff T-3 - €1.40 per kilometer, plus €2.30 for taxi delivery and €21.70 per hour of waiting:

- from 20:00 to 00:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
These rates can be seen on a sticker affixed to the rear passenger window. The client has the right to receive a receipt from the driver when paying for the service.
Note! Baggage up to 55 x 35 x 35 cm per person is allowed. Each subsequent suitcase is paid separately - €1.*

By train
Train R2 Nord
The only line that operates at the airport is the Northern line R2 Nord. Trains run every 30 minutes from 5:42 to 23:38.
- Cost: from €0.95.
- Travel time: 20 minutes to the Sants stop.
- Opening hours: every 30 minutes from 5:42 to 23:38 from the airport, from Sants - from 5:13 to 23:14.
The connection to the railway station is located in Terminal 2 (T2B), which is connected by a covered walkway. There are elevators for transporting people with disabilities.
On a note: From terminal T1 you can take a free shuttle to T2B.
Ticket machines are available at all airport stations and accept cash from €5 to €50 and credit cards. Menu in several languages. If any difficulties arise, you should approach the employee with a question.
To get from the airport to the city center you need to take the R2 Nord train to the Passeing de Gracia station, or Plaza Catalunya, but with a change.
To get to the seaside towns east of Barcelona (Calella, Santa Susanna, Pineda de Mar), you need to change trains R1 or RG1 at Sants station.
By car

To get to El Prat Airport from the north of Barcelona on your own, you need to take the Ronda de Dalt and Ronda Litoral highways.
From the south of Barcelona (Andora, Castelldefels, Sitges, Vilanova, Salou, Cambrils) you can take the toll highway C-32 (Pau Casals) or the free national road N-340, and then take the C-31 highway (Castelldefels highway) through Castelldefels.
When approaching the airport terminal, it is better to follow the signs to get to the required terminal.

In the airport area there are several parking lots for terminals T1 and T2.
There are two parking lots near Terminal T1 - Parking Building T1 and T1 Surface Parking (indoor and open, respectively).
Near terminal T2 there are two indoor parking buildings - RA and RS, and an open ground parking - Surface Car Park T2. Transition to T2A and T2C across the street.

The Long-stay Car Park is located on the road between terminals T1 and T2. You can get there by free shuttle.

Private VIP parking is located near each terminal. They wash cars, clean interiors, and refuel.

Note! Incorrectly parked vehicles will be towed and their owners will be required to pay a fine.

Car rental
Several car rental companies are located in the airport building. In terminal T1, rental offices are located in front of the baggage claim areas on the 1st floor. In T2 - in the main hall and near customs control.
Car rental prices start from approximately 45 € per day. Available to drivers over 21 years of age and with more than a year of experience. A driver's license, passport and credit card are also required. It is better to order Mashan in advance via the Internet, as there may not be any free cars on site or the price will be higher than that indicated on the website.
How to get from El Prat Airport to neighboring cities
Tarragona
From Barcelona airport you can travel to Tarragona by bus, train, taxi or car. The Empresa Plana bus runs every 3 hours from the Barcelona Airport El Prat T2 stop, travel time is 1 hour 15 minutes, fare is 13 € - 15 €.
Bus to Tarragona
Having chosen the train, you need to take the R2 Nord, get to Barcelona Sants and change to the Em train - go to Tarragona station. Em walks 5 times a day. Cost - 10€-19€.* Total travel time - 1 hour 5 minutes.

Andorra
From Barcelona airport every day from 10:00 to 20:00 there are buses from Novohotel to Andorra and from 7:30 from Direct Bus Andorra. The schedule should be checked on official websites. Travel time - 3 hours 30 minutes. Price - 33€-60€.
Taxi services will cost at least 300 €.* Travel time is 2-3 hours.
Lloret de Mar
The distance from the airport to Lloret de Mar is 92 km. To get there from Barcelona Airport, take the R2 Nord train to Estacio Sants station. Transfer to train C1 to Blanes (travel time - 1 hour 15 minutes). In Blanes, take the Pujol bus to Lloret de Mar. They depart twice an hour, directly from the railway. The cost of the bus is about €1.85, the travel time is 20 minutes.
By taxi the travel time will take about an hour, but the cost will be more than €137.
Salou
The resort town of Spain, Salou, is located 100 km southwest of Barcelona. You can get from El Prat airport by train R2 Nord, changing at Barcelona Sants station to the train to Salou. You must choose trains marked Regional, Regional Express, Catalunya Express, since tickets on such trains are more than 2 times cheaper than on long-distance trains. Ticket price is about €10. El Prat Airport has a developed infrastructure. Getting to Barcelona or nearby resort towns is not difficult. The cheapest means of transportation are trains. When forming your budget, you need to clarify in advance the cost and time of transport when traveling outside of Barcelona.

From Barcelona Airport to the city center you can take the Airbus express bus (Aerobus).
By train
From Barcelona Airport by train R2 "Renfe" You can get to the center of Barcelona at Sants central train station ( Estació Sants) () and stations Passeig de Gracia And El Clot.
