: Regarding the restaurant. The menu is quite varied: For breakfast, milk, cereal, cheeses, egg dishes (omelettes, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs), something like our herring, croissants, jam, fruit. Waiters approach each table and offer tea/coffee. Natural coffee, milk on everyone’s table. If anyone wants a cappuccino, for example, they will make it for you at the bar. Lunch: usually one soup, mostly puree soup, sometimes mushroom, pea, onion or tomato. Next, two or three types of meat (can be chops, cutlets, shish kebab, fried or stewed meat), several side dishes to choose from: vegetable, grain or pasta, salads, both ready-made and individual ingredients for mixing yourself; fish are usually one or two types. Dinner is similar to lunch, only the choice of dishes is much larger. There are up to 10 types of meat, about the same side dishes. I am especially happy with the cuisine for the holidays. We arrived on May 26-27 for Shavuot, one of the significant holidays in Israel, and the dinner was rich. The only negative is that it is not clear where what meat is, there is clearly no pork, but there is lamb, which we don’t like and we had to determine only by the taste on our plate that the kebab was made from lamb. It would be better if they signed the dishes or drew animals on the signs, as we had in the Spanish hotel. In any case, it's not a problem, you can always ask. There is a large selection of sweets: cakes, jellies, rolls, mousses, jams, yoghurts, etc. Fruits and berries during our stay were: watermelon, melon, peaches, apples, pears, pineapple, and some other unidentified fruit. At a separate self-service counter there are taps with drinks: water, cola, sweet soda like Sprite, 2 types of beer, red and white wine. As for the 24-hour bar at the Rush-Rush Hotel, where performances take place: The drinks are the same as in the dining room (restaurant) + alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. You can “bad” any milk or coffee cocktails, or with natural strawberries, mint, chocolate, liqueur, tequila, rum, vodka, vermouth, whiskey, etc. If you take it to go, say “to go” and they will pour it into a disposable glass. As for the street bar near the pool: A stand with drinks for self-service is similar to that in the dining room, + once a day at lunchtime there is a mini McDonald's. Sometimes in the street bar itself they make something like shish kebab, there is always fruit ice in the refrigerator and several times we got into ice cream. Even in the hotel lobby, they periodically set a sweet table (they prepare something like a hot biscuit). In general, there is food for every taste and color. .. It’s not necessary to eat absolutely everything, so then + 5-10 kg in two weeks, but there’s also no need to go to local markets and shops for local sweets, ice cream and fruits. Everyone takes everything out of the restaurant, no one forbids it. We took fruit and wine with us on the way back, but Transaero quickly fed and watered us and nothing was useful. In general, the result. To everyone who is in thought... All or BB, or HB, etc. All is not only free alcohol, as many people think, it is often additional. entertainment (games, entrance to the spa, any drinks, ice cream and fruits around the clock throughout the day). For each excursion we took a lunch box and could easily eat it in any cafe. And people who bought lunch paid about 800 rubles in our money for a pasta dish + drink. I would like to appeal to people who leave information on various websites that the food at the hotel is monotonous, there is nothing to eat, and all-inclusive is not worth it. Friends, look into your refrigerators, what do you see there? I don’t think there are even two types of side dishes or main dishes. I generally keep quiet about the breakfasts of the majority of the population. Usually it's coffee and a sandwich. And here 3 types of omelettes, 5 types of cheeses and 10 different rolls with jam are not enough for them! Be objective in your reviews, don't scare normal people. I sincerely wish you the next time to go to the Dead Sea hotel on a breakfast or tomorrow-dinner basis, and best of all with children. It was because of such reviews that I thought for a long time whether to overpay me $200!!! for ALL or not, I won’t think any more, and you draw your own conclusions.
The main pride of Eilat are the mountains, sea and sun. It is for them that many tourists come here. It’s not for nothing that Eilat is considered the pearl of the Red Sea. In our article we want to talk about one of the resort hotels - Leonardo Club Eilat 4*. Address: Northern Beach, 88103, Eilat.
A little about the hotel
Leonardo Club Eilat 4* is a popular hotel where vacationers can find the perfect combination of comfortable apartments, excellent food and friendly service. The complex is located in the heart of the city, close to the shopping center and a ten-minute walk from restaurants and shops.
The distance from the hotel to the beach does not exceed 600 meters. Very close to the complex there are such facilities as the Dolphin Reef Nature Reserve and the Red Sea Caral Reef Aquarium.
The Leonardo Club Eilat 4* hotel was opened in 1996 and since then has successfully welcomed tourists within its walls. The last renovation of the establishment was carried out in 2005. The complex is part of the Fattal network.
The hotel is of great interest to tourists traveling with children.

- Superior with garden view. These rooms are located on the ground floor and have their own private access to the garden, which means access to the pool.
- Junior Suite - rooms of increased comfort.
- The Superior Suite is ideal for large families. These apartments are more spacious. And the bathrooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi. In addition, the rooms have small kitchens for preparing meals.
Catering
The Leonardo Club Eilat 4* hotel (Israel) operates on a very popular all-inclusive system. The Aviv restaurant offers its guests a varied buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
In addition, the hotel has a café where bartenders offer snacks and light drinks, wine and beer. During the season, every evening guests are entertained with shows featuring singing waiters.
Guests can enjoy light meals, ice cream and drinks at the Poolside Grill.
Hotel infrastructure
The Leonardo Club Eilat 4* hotel (Israel) is interesting for guests, first of all, for its water activities. Tourists have four swimming pools and a park with water slides. In addition, the complex has the usual artificial pond and a large outdoor jacuzzi. The area adjacent to the pools is surrounded by greenery, among which waterfalls gurgle pleasantly.
The Eilat Leonardo (Club Fattal) 4* hotel has a large conference room that can accommodate about a thousand people. The premises are rented out for organizing various types of events: banquets, exhibitions, weddings, seminars and business meetings.
The hotel has a fairly developed infrastructure. On its territory there is a hairdresser, a souvenir shop, and a library. Guests of the establishment can take advantage of babysitting services, an internet room and free parking.
Organization of children's leisure
The Leonardo Club Hotel Eilat 4* (Israel, Eilat) takes care of children's leisure, and therefore the administration has allocated funds to update the amusement park for young guests. Leisure activities for young tourists are divided into age groups:
- Up to four years old (Kishkushim club).

Beach holiday
Hotel Leonardo Club Eilat 4* (Israel, Eilat) was built on the third line, the distance to the coast is about 600 meters. Since Eilat itself is a fairly small and compact town, all facilities are within walking distance, including the beach. Slowly, you can reach the coast in 15-20 minutes.
Hotel guests can relax on the beaches of the Leonardo Plaza or Herodos hotels. At the reception you should take cards in advance, the presentation of which will allow you to use sunbeds and umbrellas for free.
Hotel Leonardo Club Eilat 4*: reviews
When talking about the complex, I would like to turn to the reviews of tourists who managed to visit it. Is the Leonardo Club Eilat 4* hotel as good as tour operators describe it? According to guests of the establishment, the hotel is certainly worthy of attention. However, it has both advantages and disadvantages that vacationers planning to spend their holidays in Eilat should know about. But let's talk about everything in more detail.
The Leonardo Club Hotel Eilat 4* complex is suitable for recreation for all categories of tourists: both young people and couples with children. As a rule, tourists from different countries relax in the hotel, so the contingent is international. The hotel has a beautiful, well-kept area, surrounded by greenery and flowers.
The hotel complex has fairly similar rooms, the only difference between which is where the windows of the apartments face. The rooms located on the ground floor have their own access to the pool. Otherwise, the equipment in all apartments is almost the same.
According to guests, the hotel's room stock has long been in need of updating, since the rooms show signs of wear and tear on the walls and furniture. The defects are not so significant, but are still noticeable to others, which slightly spoils the overall impression of the establishment.
The hotel has very friendly staff, including Russian-speaking employees, so there are no problems with translation, there is no language barrier. Registration at the reception upon arrival occurs very quickly and without delay. Although the administration of the establishment warns that check-in takes place at 15:00, in practice tourists, as a rule, do not have to wait for the appointed time if rooms are available.
After completing the paperwork at the reception, guests will receive a pleasant surprise - a compliment from the hotel, which includes a large fruit plate and a bottle of wine. Little things like this make your vacation more enjoyable.
The hotel rooms are equipped with double and single beds, as well as sofas and terraces. Comfortable apartments provide the opportunity to have a good vacation.
Service
Guests note a fairly high level of service at the hotel. The staff of the establishment is attentive and friendly. However, vacationers express rather contradictory opinions regarding room cleaning. While some tourists are completely satisfied with its frequency and quality, others express dissatisfaction, declaring a virtual lack of order. It is quite difficult to explain the reason for such opposite statements. Perhaps we should not discount the human factor. Apparently, not all staff cope with their duties equally well.
But tourists are completely delighted by the excellent team of animators who entertain children and adults throughout the day. Cheerful guys don't let anyone get bored. It’s especially nice that they are actively involved in the resort’s young guests who need attention. And in the evenings, the cafe often hosts themed evenings, shows by visiting artists and local animators. It is simply impossible to get bored in the hotel.
This article is a personal photo review of a vacation at the Leonardo Inn Dead Sea hotel on the Dead Sea in Israel. Our reader was interested in her opinion about traveling to this hotel with a baby, so in my description I will try to focus on the details related to staying at the Leonardo Inn with children.
HotelLeonardo Innand its location on the Dead Sea
The Leonardo Inn Dead Sea is a three-star hotel in the Dead Sea resort of Ein Bokek in Israel. The hotel is located on the second coastline, on the map it looks like this:
Hotel Leonardo Inn on the map of hotels in Ein BokekThe distance to the Petra Shopping Center is 250 m, to the beach – 500 m, to the village center where you can visit the public beach, Sky Blue Shopping Center, Paula Clinic and several cafes – 500 m (if you exit through the Taj hookah cafe Mahal).
The hotel has a landscaped green area, two outdoor swimming pools (for adults and children), and a natural solarium, separate for men and women. The hotel restaurant provides meals on a half board basis. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the hotel, and telephone calls can be made free of charge to 60 countries, including Russia.
Photo walk around the Leonardo Inn Hotel
The main building of the hotel has 4 floors. The first one contains common areas, the other three have rooms. The two-storey extension houses a restaurant and a solarium.
View of the hotel from the courtyard
We go into the hall. The photos turned out to be a little out of focus, but for the general idea I decided to publish them anyway.
From the hall there is access to the green area of the hotel.
Exit to the garden
Well, quite a nice little garden.
The green lawn is equipped with sun loungers and armchairs.
Everything would be fine, you can turn a blind eye to the shabbyness of the sunbeds, but they are completely crap with birds.
Geese live in the garden. They say that they are able to distinguish newly arrived guests from those who enter the garden not for the first time. Geese greet new arrivals with cackling sounds. I don’t know how it happens for others, but the geese just glanced lazily at us.
Immediately behind the lawn there are two swimming pools: an adult and a children's.
Showers by the pools
During the cold season (approximately November-March), the outdoor swimming pools at hotels in Ein Bokek are closed. Although it is not that cold during this period, sometimes you could go swimming.
It is prohibited to use the swimming pools in winter
The Taj Mahal hookah cafe in an oriental style is located by the pool. I indicated the prices of this establishment when.
We return to the hotel building to go up to the solarium. We go into the elevator. It's not very big, but I think it can fit with a stroller.
The elevator is quite shabby
The solarium (sunbathing area) is located on the roof of the building attached to the main building. The exit is on the third floor near the elevator. To get to the solarium you need to climb a narrow staircase. This is not easy to do with a stroller.
Kostya goes to the stairs on the roof to explore the solarium
Skin diseases such as seborrhea, dermatitis, psoriasis and others are treated in humans. Many of them are embarrassed by the manifestations of these ailments. To ensure that vacationers do not feel constrained while taking therapeutic sunbathing, the solarium at the Leonardo Inn Dead Sea hotel has separate areas for men and women.
Each solarium has sunbeds, fans, a shower, a washbasin, a refrigerator and a water cooler. All equipment and items are well worn and look sloppy. And the cleanliness leaves much to be desired.
To go to the toilet, you need to leave the private solarium area and go down to the roof.
Now let's go to the numbers.
There is a water cooler between the stairs and the corridor on each floor. However, the water smells of bleach or something like that, so it’s better to boil it before drinking, fortunately there are kettles in the rooms.
Numbers hotelLeonardo Inn Dead Sea
The hotel has 96 rooms located on the 2nd-4th floors of the hotel building. Almost all of them are the same. Let's take a look at one of them.
Let's go to our room
The room is not big. A baby's cradle, and even a stroller, will hardly fit. But the double bed is simply huge.
We were immediately confused by the strange door in the room. If you open it, you can see another similar door, only from the back side. And if you’re “lucky” and it’s open, then so will the neighbors. It turns out that the rooms of the Leonardo Inn hotel are paired with each other. The unreliable lock in the form of an ordinary door handle confuses me. I also read in the reviews that one woman lived in the hotel with a two-month-old baby, and the neighbors constantly smoked in the room, which made her feel smoky through the cracks in the doors. True, her number was eventually changed, but she had to fray her nerves.
Let's go into the bathroom. Everything seems to be quite decent here.
A soap and shaving cosmetic set awaits you in the bathroom. From the smell it seemed that the gels and shampoos were not the freshest. This is what cosmetics that have been stored for a long time smell like. Didn't use it.
Opposite the exit from the bathroom there is a wardrobe with a mirror.
Inside there is a safe, shelves, hangers.
Each room has: safe, mini-fridge, TV, kettle and replenished tea supplies.
There is also air conditioning. He is, however, quite old-fashioned.
And it is controlled not by a remote control, but by a special wall device.
A few careless details.
And rip out the remaining socket
Let's go to the balcony. He's very tiny.
Odd numbers overlook the Dead Sea, even numbers overlook the garden. The first odd-numbered rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors (rooms 101, 103, 105 and 201, 203, 205) have a beautiful view not of the sea, but of the trees. It looks something like this:
Although a tree can also be a plus in extreme heat, creating shade on the balcony.
Meals at the hotel
The Leonardo Inn hotel provides meals on a breakfast or half board basis. The hotel restaurant is located in an attached building, accessible from the second floor. We booked a room without meals, so I can’t give my assessment. In the reviews, guests respond very well to the restaurant, the quality and variety of food.
Beach and SPA complex
The Leonardo Inn does not have its own beach. However, at the reception they issue free cards for daily access to the beach and spa complex of the neighboring Hod Hamidbar hotel. The walk to it is 400 m (5-7 minutes). I described my impression in, you can read it.
Towels for spa treatments can be borrowed from reception at the Leonardo Inn. However, during peak hours they are quickly sold out, and you have to wait a long time for the next batch.
I read in recent reviews that at the end of July 2016 there was a fire in the SPA of the Hod Hotel. Instead of this complex, guests were directed to the spa at the Herods Hotel.
Car parking
Judging by the color of the markings, parking in the asphalt area near the hotel must be paid. In fact, hotel guests can use it for free.
We arrived in the evening, and the packing was busy. However, a new parking lot was being built very close by. There were a lot of empty spaces in the unfinished parking lot, so they left it there.
Our reviews of the Leonardo Inn Dead Sea Hotel
Based on this review article, it may seem that we have a negative impression of the Leonardo Inn Dead Sea 3* hotel. Not at all! Kostya and I are not picky at all. During our travel activities, sometimes we had to spend the night in such holes that this Leonardo Inn in comparison with them is a royal luxury hotel with 5+ stars. In this article, I simply tried to be objective, and then let everyone decide for themselves what is critical for them and what is not. If there is a need to save money, then next time we would not mind booking the Leonardo Inn hotel again, only this time with meals. 🙂
As for the reviews of other tourists, most of them note decent cuisine, outdated interiors, battered furniture and friendly staff. All guest reviews can be read on Booking using this link.
Prices for Leonardo Inn hotel rooms
Leonardo Inn Dead Sea is considered one of the most budget hotels on the Dead Sea in Israel. Prices are constantly changing throughout the year and are never fixed. Very often in winter there are discounts of up to 40%. If you book the day before or on the day of arrival, you can also get a room at a lower price. But during high season there may be no available rooms at all.
We managed to book the Leonardo Inn hotel in early January 15 minutes before arrival at the super price of $87 per night without meals. It is not often that you can get such a price in this hotel. Booked on Booking.
Prices range from $90 without meals to $200 with half board. If you are preparing in advance, then sometimes it makes sense to observe prices over a certain period. A discount may appear on any day, then you need to book.
For relaxation, you can consider and. How to choose - I wrote in the link.
I tried to give an objective review of the hotelLeonardo Inn Dead Sea3*. We stayed here for a short timerock, so some details may have been missed or some circumstances may not have been paid attention to. If you have something to tell about the Leonardo Inn Dead Sea hotel in Israel, share your reviews in the comments to the article.
