Brusel se ukázal být bohatý na objekty zahrnuté v seznamu světové dědictví UNESCO. Byli tady tři. Nejnavštěvovanější je ale bývalá tržnice, centrální náměstí města La Grand-Place.
Navštěvují ho téměř všichni, ne-li všichni, kteří přijedou do belgického hlavního města. Mnozí ani netuší, že tato oblast je samostatně přidělena respektovanou mezinárodní organizací. V roce 1998 však bylo La Grand-Place pod číslem 857 zařazeno na seznam památek UNESCO.
Oficiální stránky UNESCO komentují zařazení náměstí do jeho seznamu:
„La Grande Place v Bruselu je vynikajícím uceleným komplexem veřejných a soukromých budov pocházejících převážně z konce 17. století. Jejich architektura názorně ilustruje úroveň společenského a kulturního života Bruselu jako významné politické a nákupní centrum Evropa té doby“ (whc.unesco.org/en/list/857)
dobře zběhlý anglický jazyk na stránkách UNESCO se mohou dočíst mnohem více, ale dovolím si krátkou historickou odbočku a pár fotek objektů, které tvoří tento architektonický celek.
UNESCO definuje La Grand-Place jako památku z 15. století. Právě toto století se datuje od stavby majestátní gotické radnice, která se zcela dochovala a určuje tvář celého komplexu budov.
Radnice se začala stavět v roce 1402, definitivní podobu získala v roce 1455 dokončením stavby zvonice vysoké 96 metrů. Jedná se o jedinou dochovanou budovu v centru Bruselu po dělostřeleckém bombardování Francouzi v roce 1695. Radnice dodnes někdy slouží jako sídlo starosty, ale spíše slouží k turistickým výletům.
Ještě starobylejší budovou, která však byla v témže roce 1695 částečně zničena a později obnovena, je Bread House nebo King's House (holandský Broodhuis, francouzský Maison du Roi)
Chlebovna byla postavena ve 13. století na trhu, kde se pekl a prodával chléb. Ale za vlády císaře Karla V. na počátku 16. století byl dům přestavěn v gotickém slohu. Od té doby se o něm mluví jako o „Králově domě“. Takže až dosud má dvě rovnocenná jména. Nyní je zde bruselské muzeum, ve kterém se mezi četnými cennými exponáty nachází více než pět set kostýmů „Manneken Pis“, jehož první zcela zachovalý kostým daroval francouzský král Ludvík XV. již v roce 1747.
Zbývající budovy, souhrnně nazývané „Cechovní domy“, zde byly během čtyř let přestavěny různými cechy v Bruselu bezprostředně po zničení centra města na konci 17. století.
Ráno 6. října 2014, kdy jsem fotil tento materiál, bylo zataženo. Ale myslím, že nebude na škodu zanechat z náměstí ty „nejjasnější“ dojmy... Pro větší dojem můžete vidět, jak jasně a kontrastně vypadalo stejné místo noc před Nočními městy... Bruselské centrální náměstí + bonus
P.S. Přidám pár slov poslední fotka památník Everard "t Serclaes - lidový hrdina Bruselu. (Pro ty, kteří chtějí vědět, kdo to je, dávám odkaz en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everard ...) Všiml jsem si, kolik turistů stojí ve frontě na dotyk, ale spíš otírat nějakou část těla sochy. Něco to určitě znamená a taky jsem "drhla".
Ukázalo se, že místní věří, že socha přináší štěstí a pomáhá při plnění tužeb, pokud se dotknete (už horliví turisté začali třít). A pokud se dotknete svých rukou, určitě se jednoho dne vrátíte do Bruselu ...
Grand Place bylo srdcem Bruselu již od středověku. Victor Hugo, slavný francouzský spisovatel minulého století, který nějakou dobu žil v Bruselu, označil Grand Place za nejkrásnější z hlavních náměstí v Evropě, a to z dobrého důvodu)
Grand Place(ve vlámštině Grote Markt), neboli Velký trh, je historické náměstí v centru Bruselu, jedno z nejvýznamnějších turistických míst ve městě. Nachází se zde dvě nejvýznamnější pamětihodnosti - bruselská radnice a Bread House nebo King's House.
Tržní náměstí vzniklo ve 12. století na místě vysušených močálů. Zpočátku to bylo pouze tržiště starého Bruselu, jedna z vesnic na prastaré pastýřské cestě, po které se hnala stáda. Vesnice rostla a bohatla díky obchodu. Rozvoj náměstí Grand Place začal v roce 1402 stavbou radnice Hotel de Ville, která zabírá většinu jeho strany náměstí a byla z větší části dokončena v roce 1480. Původní radniční věž vysoká 91 metrů byla postavena v letech 1449 až 1455. Jeho věž je korunována korouhvičkou v podobě pětimetrové měděné postavy archanděla Michaela šlapajícího po ďáblovi. Na fasádě budovy je více než sto soch, jedná se o kopie starověkých originálů vyrobených v minulém století. Interiéry jsou bohatě zdobeny bruselskými nástěnnými tapetami a obrazy. Dvě fontány na nádvoří symbolizují dvě hlavní řeky Belgie - Scheldt a Meuse.
Bruselská radnice ve dne v noci
Na opačné straně náměstí byla ve 13. století postavena Chlebovna, která, jak název napovídá, sloužila ke skladování chleba. Později se tato budova stala známou jako King's House. Zajímavé je, že nizozemština stále používá starší název (chlebárna), zatímco ve francouzštině se této budově říká „královský dům“. V letech 1873-1895 byl zrekonstruován v celé nádheře architektonického stylu 16. století a nyní v něm sídlí Městské muzeum. V jednom z jeho nejzajímavějších sálů se představuje sbírka kostýmů čítající více než 350 exponátů.
13. srpna 1695 začalo ostřelování Bruselu francouzskou armádou, které trvalo několik dní. V důsledku toho bylo zničeno celé centrum města. Na Grand Place přežila jen radnice a částečně Chlebovna.
Po skončení války však byla oblast rychle (během pouhých čtyř let) přebudována bohatými cechy. Díky tomu areál získal vzhled velmi blízký současnosti. Obdélník náměstí doplňuje 33 cechovních budov postavených v 17. století, pseudogotických nebo barokních.
Každý den ráno se na náměstí otevírá květinový trh a v neděli ptačí trh. Kdysi za starých časů zde burgundská šlechta pořádala rytířské turnaje.
Nedaleko náměstí Grand Place se nachází slavný „Manniken Pis“ nebo „Manneken Pis“, „nejstarší občan hlavního města“ a „drzý znak Bruselu“. První kopie, která se nedochovala, pochází ze 14. století. Kupodivu je tato památka nejznámější památkou v zemi a dnes má 517 textilních obleků pro ceremonie a byla oceněna mnoha řády.

Je obklopeno domy postavenými v 17. Cechovní domy. Soubor tržiště jako celek byl v roce 1998 zapsán na seznam světového dědictví UNESCO. Grand Place bylo v roce 2010 vyhlášeno nejkrásnějším náměstím v Evropě. Moskevské Rudé náměstí pak obsadil druhé místo. Zde jsou umístěny budova radnice (radnice) a Bread House (King's House, Broodhuis, Maison du Roi). Každé dva roky (v sudých letech) náměstí zdobí slavný Květinový koberec z živých begónií, která láká turisty z celého světa.
V centru města obecně, a na náměstí Grand Place zvláště, dominují architektuře středověké domy ve vlámském stylu, zejména ve stylu vlámského baroka a brabantské gotiky. Architektonický celek bruselského náměstí Grand Place se formoval v 16.–18. století. Samotné tržiště (jen otevřená obchodní platforma) vzniklo na konci 11. století na místě vyschlých bažin, poblíž pevnosti na řece Seině, z níž Brusel začínal. Nejprve se to jmenovalo Nedermerckt (dolní trh). Počátkem 13. století přestalo být jen otevřenou plochou – objevily se takříkajíc první „pavilony“... Brzy, jak se město rozrůstalo, ho obklopovaly další budovy. Postaven ve 13. století Chlebárna(slouží ke skladování chleba), později se objektu začalo říkat králův dům. V letech 1402 až 1455 byla budova postavena radnice, která se dochovala dodnes. Mnoho budov v okolí náměstí však bylo zničeno najednou. 13. srpna 1695 začalo na několik dní bombardování Bruselu francouzskou armádou o síle 70 000 mužů. V důsledku toho bylo zničeno celé centrum města. Na náměstí stál pouze radnice a (částečně) Chlebárna. Po skončení války bylo náměstí za čtyři roky přestavěno bohatými cechy (je to něco jako středověké odbory). Cechovní domy jsou postaveny ve stylu baroka a Ludvíka XIV. Jejich fasády jsou zdobeny řezbami, girlandami, figurkami a sloupy. Každý z nich má své jméno a kdysi patřil k určitému cechu. Úzká – tři nebo čtyři okna – fasády těchto budov dnes snadno poznáte. Například dům „Rozhok“ patřil k dílně stavitelů lodí a jeho fasáda v horní části vypadá jako záď lodi. ALE Dům "Swan" byl úřadem řezníků a je podle toho vyzdoben plastikou labutě. V roce 1845 za pobytu Marxe a Engelse v Bruselu často navštěvovali kavárnu umístěnou v tomto domě (jedná se o dům číslo 9), zájemcům zde předkládali svůj „Komunistický manifest“. Stojící vedle dům "hvězda" proslulý vysokým reliéfem Everard Circlas(č. 8). V dalším domě "Vlčice" sídlil cech lukostřelců, dům "Vozík" byl postaven v roce 1697 cechem výrobců oleje a tuku. Je tu také „Dub“, „Liška“, jeden z domků postavil cech sládků (čp. 1) – a tam nyní Muzeum piva. V 18. století revoluční masy znehodnotily náměstí Grand Place, zničily sochy vznešených lidí a dokonce i symboly křesťanství. Budovy byly v hrozném stavu, fasády byly zohaveny, přemalovány a nerestaurovány. Nový starosta na konci 19. století sem ale vnesl pořádek – a náměstí se zaskvělo ve své někdejší nádheře. Až do 19. listopadu 1959 zůstávalo náměstí skutečně tržištěm - obchodovalo se zde... A v roce 1971 se zde objevil slavný Květinový koberec. Tato akce se ukázala jako oblíbená - a proto se od roku 1986 každé dva roky, průběžně, od 15. srpna, obrovský koberec různobarevných begónií o rozměrech 24 krát 77 metrů a celkové ploše 1800 m2. m. vzniká na náměstí Grand Place několik dní. A ze všech stran jsme se dostali na ulici Boterstraat, která nás zavedla na Grand Place.
Grand Place nebo jak tomu říkají místní obyvatelé Nejdůležitější bruselské náměstí Grote Markt je jedním z nejkrásnějších náměstí v Evropě s architekturou ze tří různých období (baroko, gotika a styl Ludvíka XIV.). Nachází se zde dvě nejvýznamnější památky - radnice a Chlebový dům nebo Královský dům (Broodhuis / Maison du Roi). Celý komplex je od roku 1998 zapsán na seznamu světového dědictví UNESCO.
Ve skutečnosti to bylo místo, kde obchodníci a měšťané prodávali a kupovali jídlo. Výsledkem je, že všechny ulice obklopující náměstí jsou pojmenovány po produktech, jako je kuřecí maso (kurka), bylinky (bylinky), sýr (tvaroh) a tak dále.
Kromě radnice a Chlebovny / Domu krále je kolem náměstí téměř čtyřicet budov z období 14. - 17. století.
Od roku 1971 každé dva roky 15. srpna vzniká na náměstí barevný designový koberec o rozměrech 24 krát 77 metrů z více než 700 000 různobarevných begónií.
Grand Place získalo statut městského náměstí od 12. století (tehdy nazývané „Nedermarckt“).
Sehrála také negativní roli v historii belgického města. V 16. a 17. století byly na náměstí z různých důvodů popraveny stovky lidí. Čarodějnice a protestanti byli upalováni na hranici a výtržníci a další darebáci byli sťati.
Pivovarský dům je sídlem belgického svazu pivovarů. V suterénu se nachází hlavní muzeum pivovarnictví v zemi. Muzeum je otevřeno denně od 10.00 do 17.00, o víkendu se otevírá ve 12.00. Cena ~ 6 eur. Zde se můžete seznámit s procesem vaření a ochutnat pivo v muzejním baru na konci prohlídky.
Restaurace a kavárny kolem náměstí nejsou levné, ale pokud jste unavení, objednejte si něco lehkého, třeba jen drink. Ale vy a obdivujte oblast a odpočívejte. V malých uličkách v okolí je mnoho restaurací v řeckém, tureckém nebo italském stylu, které jsou dobré pro rychlé zakousnutí. V okolí je také mnoho obchodů s belgickými vaflemi. V žádném případě nekupujte levné, jinak budete zklamáni a bez dodělání je vyhodíte. Raději zaplaťte více, ale užijte si chuť.
Velkolepé náměstí Grand Place v centru Bruselu je majestátní a elegantní zároveň. Jakmile jste na tomto náměstí, pochopíte, že všechny ostatní památky Belgie před tímto mistrovským dílem skutečného gotického umění prostě blednou.

Historie tohoto městského náměstí je zakořeněna ve staleté tloušťce starověku. Odehrávaly se zde všechny významné události tohoto města, Grand Place vidělo mnoho panovníků a státníků, skvělých lidí a celebrit. Každá etapa její historie je zachycením stránek městské historie:
- XII století - město Tržní náměstí bylo postaveno na místě vysušených močálů;
- XIII. století - byla postavena Chlebárna, kde se skladoval chléb: sotva kdo v té době mohl tušit, že se tato budova brzy promění v Králův dům, hlavní ozdobu náměstí;
- 1402-1455 - postavena gotická budova radnice;
- 1695 - náměstí bylo zničeno v důsledku několikadenního ostřelování města francouzskou armádou; letos zemřelo mnoho bruselských památek;
- počátek 17. století - náměstí Grand Place bylo přestavěno bohatými cechy; nyní si můžete prohlédnout tehdejší luxusní cechovní domy postavené ve stylu baroka nebo Ludvíka XIV.
Každá budova na tomto náměstí je skutečným mistrovským dílem světového gotického umění. Nedaleko jsou hotely v Bruselu, kde si můžete odpočinout po všech výletech.
Grand Place: architektonický vzhled
Krásou náměstí jsou budovy, které se na něm nacházejí. Například radnice z 15. století je jedinečná svou architekturou:

Jednou z velkých tradic Grand Place je vytvoření obrovského koberce květin každé dva roky. Neuvěřitelný pohled je kresba milionů různobarevných begónií. Jeho velikost je 24 x 77 metrů a celková plocha je 1 800 metrů čtverečních. metrů.
Jakmile jste v samém centru Bruselu - na náměstí Grand Place - nemůžete projít kolem této gotické nádhery. Zde se chcete nekonečně procházet, vidět památky Bruselu a zdobit toto náměstí svou gotickou krajkou.
