Reviews of Atlantis Condo Resort Pattaya. Reviews of Atlantis Condo Resort Pattaya Approximate prices and how to book, our experience
Renting a condo in Atlantis Pattaya is of interest to many readers. Involuntarily, I became interested in what kind of condo this is, why does everyone like it so much?
I decided to go and see, ask how much it costs to rent apartments in Atlantis Pattaya (Atlantis condo Resort), what the conditions are, what the pros and cons are, so that I can tell you later. It turned out to be very interesting, I’m surprised myself!
Atlantis Pattaya – new condo in Pattaya and apartments for rent
Last year, the advertisement about Atlantis condo Resort on TV was so loud that it was already cemented in the memory that there is such a condo in Pattaya.
Well, yes there are, you never know how many houses are being built, nothing unusual, I thought. And I was wrong.
Because Atlantis Pattaya is a really cool air conditioner. It’s not for nothing that 25-30% of the apartments there were bought by our compatriots. Apartments in Atlantis Pattaya in 2016-2017 were sold and bought better than in other condos.
Renting an apartment in Pattaya – how much does an apartment cost in Atlantis condo Resort?
Atlantis condo Resort consists of several buildings:

If you come to Pattaya for a short period of time, for a few days - a couple of weeks, it is most profitable to find and rent an apartment in Atlantis condo via Booking.
Because realtors usually price an apartment per month; they rarely agree to calculate it weekly. Not profitable. Plus you will have to pay extra for cleaning services
washing and electricity.
Great reviews, free internet, two sofa beds and a double bed. Beautiful and cozy apartment.
The apartment is fully equipped with everything necessary, quiet and cozy.
If you like to communicate with compatriots, the apartment is from a certain Anatoly, who rents it out on booking for 1,800 rubles per day and 13,000 per week.
This is a very good price, and if you do not speak English, then it will be much easier for you to contact and discuss all the nuances.
I don’t have all the information and I don’t rent out apartments. So if you are interested in renting an apartment in Atlantis condo, write in the comments, I will give you the contacts of a trusted Russian realtor who can help you.
For those who don’t need advice, I’ll still give one. Be careful. This year a lot of people wrote to me asking what they should do. Upon arrival in Pattaya, there was neither an agent nor a deposit, because they turned to some kind of sharashka or believed the scammers. For example, one of the cases.
Today I looked at 2 apartments - 1-bedroom (in ours, a two-room apartment - living room + bedroom) and 2-bedroom - 2 bedrooms + living room.
Rental price for a 1-bedroom condo in Atlantis – approx. 20,000 baht for a short period of time (month). Depends on the option and condition of the apartment, floor and other parameters.
You can also choose an apartment for rent in Atlantis condo on booking. Just enter your check-in and arrival dates and you will see the prices. Reliable and convenient option:
Atlantis on booking has excellent reviews from guests and is given high scores. On average from 8 to 10, which means excellent and excellent!
There are 2 sleeping places in 1 bedroom. The sofa in the living room folds out, it’s comfortable!
Atlantis Pattaya condo in Jomtien photo
Good European cuisine, all the utensils and utensils needed for cooking are there.
Rental price 2-thigh in Atlantis condo Pattaya in the area 35,000 – 45,000 baht. For a short period (a month). For a long time - 6 months-year – 25,000-30,000.
It all depends on the specific option, the owner, floor, location of the apartment, etc.
I looked at an apartment on the 5th floor. No one has ever lived in this apartment, new!
Good kitchen, good hood, large refrigerator, 2 balconies, 2 showers.
2 double beds and a non-folding sofa in the living room.
At the entrance there is a living room and to the left and right of it are bedrooms.
The footage of the 2nd hip in Atlantis is 69 m.
I really liked Atlantis, everything was great!
TV can be connected for 600 baht per month if you need it.
Atlantis condo Resort – Pros
Let's talk about the good, about the advantages of this condo.
The pool is everywhere. literally everywhere! And it's amazing! After Russia, this is generally cool, but even when you live in Pattaya and seem to be used to everything and have seen
everything, the pools of Atlantis Pattaya (Atlantis condo Resort) are amazing.
The space was used very well and the materials were selected. As the realtor told me, artificial grass is used as flooring on the territory
The condo was not chosen by chance. At first, natural grass was planned, but it was rejected by the receivers because it was not safe (falls, difficult care, insects).
An ideal pool for parents with children. Sloping entrance EVERYWHERE! Slide! The complex is like in a water park with a slide, fungus fountains and an overturning bucket.
When I walked today, all the people relaxing by the pool were a) Russians, b) parents with children.
Not many people. If you don't have children and want privacy, no problem. Children and families with children concentrate at the slides, and besides this part of the pool there are plenty of quiet secluded places where
nobody here! And yet, in the Atlantis pool there are several cool Jacuzzi areas, no massage is needed, just sit down and massage your sore spots with the jet :)
The condo is new. This means a good, fresh renovation, new furniture, kitchen, etc.
Good internet. Each apartment has its own router, they promise speeds of up to 10 Mbt, but the outgoing speed is of course different.
Internet in Atlantis – 600 baht per month, this is the normal price.
A good gym on the 8th floor overlooking the sea, new treadmills, exercise equipment, a comfortable place to relax on the roof.
Directly 400 meters to the sea. You can swim at Jomtien Beach.
sea view from the roof of the gym
Rent in Atlantis Pattaya (Atlantis condo Resort)
There is enough infrastructure, 7/11 has opened, there are markets with fruits nearby, Jomtien is just a stone's throw away, so EVERYTHING is there. And tuk tuk on 1 Jomtien.
That is, to get somewhere, you need to go through the condo opposite Jomitien to the sea, and the entrance there is only open during the day, because
that the hotel owners are very nervous that the residents of Atlantis are wandering through their passage.
Passage from Atlantis to the sea via Welkom Jomtien
The interior of the condo is not sunny due to the fact that the houses (Atlantis buildings) are stuck to each other. That is, it seemed to me that you can only sunbathe on the roof.
For some this may be a plus. On the other hand, saving on electricity)
Very often apartments have washing machines. If not, there are plenty of laundries in the area.
My summary and observations from visiting Atlantis Pattaya (Atlantis condo Resort)
For readers who were planning to live here for a month, yes! I think this is a great option.
Still, even 20 - 35,000 baht can be found, it is still cheaper than staying with a family in a good-quality hotel. For this money
for a month in Pattaya for a family you can rent 2 rooms in a very low-level hotel, probably with old rooms and karaoke under your nose.
I have several familiar families living there for a long time, they are happy with everything, everything is fine. so for both short and long term – ok.
Pattaya is a city like everyone else. Here, for the same amount you can rent a cool apartment in a new condo or an apartment in an old and dirty one,
on the outskirts, so Atlantis is not only not the worst, it is a good and not a standard option for Pattaya.
The price for water is expensive. 48 baht per unit (cube) of water. And 6 baht for electricity.
But since there are a lot of pools on the territory, the water in which evaporates, they need to be cleaned and maintained, drained and refilled, no one will work at a loss, that’s why the price is so high.
I believe that if you use air conditioning, do your own laundry and cook, in a 2-bedroom payment for electricity + water can come out to about 3-3500 baht per month, in a 1-bedroom 1000 - 1500 baht.
The Atlantis condo in Pattaya can be booked in advance if you are interested. If it is more convenient for you to rent in advance, write in the comments, I will give everyone the contacts of realtors who will advise you on the price and select your accommodation option in Atlantis.
About the deposit. Here they take a deposit per month, on average, 500 dollars. This is convenient, since before leaving you do not need to rush around and change baht into rubles or dollars.
There is no need to rush around before leaving, trying to spend unnecessary baht somewhere. (Different agencies charge deposits differently, please check)
You can also find an apartment in Atlantis condo using the hotel search engine Booking
Just enter your dates and see prices. Reliable and convenient:
The first floor by the pool is also a good option, the main thing is that it is not on the first floor, otherwise cars will be parked under the balcony.
1st floor in Atlantis condo
And so, I really liked everything. Weighing the pros and cons, I would probably take an apartment here. Very cute and uncluttered.
I remind those coming to Pattaya to be sure to take out insurance! Going to the hospital on your own will cost you very much ($70-100 per visit), so one such trip will completely pay for vacation insurance for several people. I can personally recommend Search hotels with discounts!
How to save on insurance?
Insurance abroad is required. Any appointment is very expensive and the only way not to pay out of pocket is to choose an insurance policy in advance. We have been applying for many years on the website, which gives the best prices for insurance and selection along with registration takes only a couple of minutes.
Here is a tree growing on the roof, as far as I understand, this is Pomelo
The condominium consists of five eight-story buildings, the project was completed in 2014.
The complex is completely new, everything is in very good condition. All apartments are standard, fully finished and furnished, lighting fixtures, built-in kitchen, built-in wardrobe, bathroom equipped with plumbing, air conditioning.
Overview of the complex
The buildings are arranged in a circle, forming a large courtyard surrounded by large lagoon pools of approximately 2,600 sq.m. (one of the largest swimming pools in Pattaya) with 8 Jacuzzis and an artificial waterfall. The entire yard is a tropical garden with flowers. It's very nice to be there.
For children there is a large playground in the pool, as well as a water slide.
The yard is originally decorated with a wooden ship and contains a recreation area.
The Minerva building houses the oriental restaurant Souk https://www.facebook.com/enjoysouk
Free sun loungers and outdoor showers are available to residents. The complex also has a comfortable gym with a fairly good number of exercise equipment and panoramic views of the sea.
There is free access to the roofs, where palm trees and flowers are also planted. There you can have a barbecue or sunbathe.
Each building has secure individual parking (car, motorbike, bicycle). The complex is surrounded by a high fence and green spaces, access is only possible with an individual card. 24-hour security is available at the entrance to each building, as well as at the entrance and exit from the territory.
Location and infrastructure
It is located quite conveniently, but nevertheless there are some shortcomings.
This is the Jomtien district, on the second street (parallel to the beach). This means that the walk to the beach takes 7 minutes (550 m), and you need to cross a large, busy second street and go along the 11th or 12th lane.
The journey by minibus to the city center (Walking street) is 17 minutes (5.7 km).
All the main shops and markets are on Bun Kanchana road, you need to turn right at the intersection. There is no pedestrian part of the road on this street; you need to walk either along the edge of the road or along the sandy side of the road for 5-7 minutes.
All the other cheaper condominiums are located there (Park Lane, Paradise park, The Majestic Jomtien). Nearby is a base for Cambodian workers who drive heavy vehicles along this street to work on the same road and live in outbuildings there. At night the street is poorly lit and walking there at night may not be safe. Despite this, the bulk of Russian vacationers settle in that area (rental prices are 2-3 thousand baht lower).
Khun Mae La-O Market Thai Food Market is 800 meters away on Bun Kanchana road. There you can inexpensively buy fruits, vegetables, local cuisine, seafood, meat, and there is a shop with souvenirs and cosmetics. Some sellers speak a little Russian, but the prices are low and the products are high quality.
Opposite it is Tesco lotus express: essential products, the lowest prices in the area (open 24 hours). There are many Thai cafes (prices for a serving of rice with seafood from 40 baht), high-quality motorbike rental (from 2000 baht per month), a dairy product store “Milk River” (homemade cottage cheese, sour cream, kefir, cooking). There are also 2 24-hour seven eleven grocery stores, but they are more expensive.
Also between the condo and the market is the Mari Jari SPA sauna http://mari-jari.com/eng/ and the Winchester men's club https://www.facebook.com/pages/Winchester-Club-Pattaya/423632431041283
There is also car rental Maks rent http://thai-rent-car.com/index_EN.shtml
The nearest grocery store is across the street from Atlantis, 3 minutes walk (220 m).
Unfortunately, the residential complex does not have public washing machines or dispensers with filtered water on site. You can wash things on lane 11 (15-20 baht depending on the size of the machine + washing powder 10 baht). It is easier to buy filtered water from the nearest store.
Description of apartments
There are two types of apartments: with one or two bedrooms.
Otherwise, the apartments in the entire condominium are absolutely identical: the same layout, the same room design, furniture and appliances.
One bedroom 35 sq. m. (one bedroom and living room with kitchen)
The apartment has an adjacent layout, at the entrance there is a kitchenette on the left (microwave, hob, drawers with utensils), a built-in wardrobe and a refrigerator on the right.
Next comes a dining table and 2 chairs, a guest folding sofa and an LCD TV opposite.
Next we go into the bedroom, on the right there is a built-in wardrobe, bedside tables and a double bed.
To the right is the toilet and shower.
Two bedroom 70 sq.m. m. (two bedrooms and a living room with kitchen)
Differences from the first option: the living room-kitchen area is larger, an additional isolated bedroom, the balcony is twice as large.
Approximate prices and how to book, our experience
We initially wanted to find a one-bedroom apartment for 3-4 months on a high floor.
When we arrived for the first time, we decided to go to the official condominium rental office on the first floor, and regretted it. We were met by a tall, red-haired Russian guy who looked at us with a hint of skepticism: we looked shabby after the flight, our faces were tired, and we were carrying our things.
He apparently thought that this was too expensive housing for us, and didn’t really want to tell or show anything, he simply said that rent from 20,000 baht for a long term for a one-bedroom option with a view of the city and 25,000 if for a pool + deposit 20,000- 25,000 baht. With two bedrooms 40,000 month + 40,000 deposit. Pool view is more expensive. He said that why show it if it will be expensive for you.
I won’t like this moment, and we went to the nearest guesthouse to look for offers directly from the owners. I looked through ads on VKontakte and on blogs and found 3 available suitable options.
First apartment
On the 4th floor, Poseidon building. View of the forest, but from the windows you could barely see the transformer box and the trash behind the fence. Since the apartment was selected for a long time, this was a significant disadvantage. Rented by a friend of the owner who lives next door. Price 15,000 baht, but negotiated to 13,000, deposit $200
Second apartment
Seventh floor, Jupiter building, view of the field and partly of the second street (noisy, a lot of cars and bikes). On the plus side there is a washing machine. Price 15,000 baht, no bargaining, deposit $300
Third apartment
Eighth floor, Poseidon building. panoramic view of the forest and city. The downside is the top floor, the roof of the house gets hot and during the day the apartment can be very stuffy. Hypothetically, thieves could break into apartments on the top floors, but we still don’t keep valuables at home, plus there is good security here. We really liked the view, so we chose this apartment. The price is also 15,000 baht, the deposit is $300, but they negotiated it down to 200.
What you should pay attention to when renting an apartment
I do not advise:
- Apartments with windows to the courtyard. In the yard there is a huge swimming pool and a garden, which means a lot of humidity, mosquitoes, lizards and other living creatures. Plus the constant sound of water (there is a waterfall in the yard), the screams of children. Although the apartments on the ground floor have a staircase leading directly to the pool from the living room.
- The top floor, because in hot weather the roof heats up and is constantly stuffy, the air conditioning has to be turned on more often. Plus there is a greater chance of robbery.
- Lower floors. First, the house is visible from the street; I know from experience that passers-by like to look out the windows of the first floors, you can hear cars, and dust flies into the house.
Case overview
Poseidon(The best building in my opinion, view of the forest and city, quiet, non-sunny side)
Apollo(view of the field, but noise from the road and sunny side in the morning, it can be hot in the afternoon)
Jupiter(view of the field and the city, you can hear the road a little, and the sunny side in the morning)
Venus(also not bad, but also a little noisy from the road, sunny side in the afternoon)
Minerva(not very good, all the windows face the road, it’s very noisy, although on the high floors you can see the sea. In this building there is a reception, a restaurant, a fitness club, a lot of people go there all the time, plus or minus I don’t know).
Additional information
The condominium has very expensive water - 48 baht per cubic meter, but cheap electricity - 4 baht. Therefore, another question is whether a washing machine is needed in the apartment, or is it cheaper to wash it in a machine on the street for 20 baht. Receipts are placed in the mailbox every month and can be paid at the condo office or 7/11.
There is Internet in the complex, and even routers are installed in each apartment, but we were dissuaded from paying for it (700 baht), as there is a 3G tariff from the cellular operator dtac with a much higher speed, and the price is the same. Everyone complains that the local Internet is slow and goes out several times a month. We require stable internet to work.
There are no public washing machines or water dispensers on the condo premises. Market and cheap shops are a 5-7 minute walk along a not very pleasant road. But there is a slightly more expensive store nearby. There is an oriental restaurant in the complex itself.
Condo on line 2, 5 minutes walk to the sea along a side street, but the road is lit, there are almost always people there, it’s not scary. The sea is cloudy and the beach is dirty (but this is the case throughout Pattaya). And it’s still a long way from the city center, almost 6 km.
People from different countries live here, not just Russians. Everyone is very quiet and civilized, no one litters or shouts.
The polite staff is pleasant, the area is constantly cleaned, everything looks well-groomed. Although I saw some shortcomings in the decoration of the premises.
Disadvantages of finishing the complex
Our apartment is on the top floor and the roof on the balcony leaks a little in the corner. The floors and walls were not leveled before laying the finishing materials, they simply laid the laminate and painted it as it was.
When cooking, the hob becomes very hot and if you use the one that is closer to the wall, the glass protective panel against the wall may crack. And for some reason, to the right of the stove there is no protective panel against splashes, all the grease flies onto the wall, stains are already visible. Everything must be covered with a lid.
Also, one of the two shower heads no longer works (it sprays in all directions), so we use the second one. As a tenant, in principle I don’t care about these little things, but if I were the owner, I would not accept an apartment from the developer with these shortcomings. And it’s a little strange that the house has just been commissioned and some things are already starting to break down.
conclusions
Despite the minor shortcomings, Atlantis Condo Resort is a very good housing option in Jomtien. I am especially pleased with the courtyard and the relatively good finishing of the apartments, with 24-hour security. The disadvantages include some distance from the sea (after all, the second line) and a significant distance from the city center.
Where to look for apartments and prices
For the long term, it is more profitable to look for offers from owners through VKontakte groups about Pattaya and blogs.
One bedroom apartment can be rented from 12,000 per year(with an annual contract) and from 16 000 per month. Weekly pay will definitely be more expensive.
There is an official rental and sales office at the entrance of the condominium, but the price is higher: 20,000 baht for a single room / 40,000 baht for a two-bedroom apartment.
For a short period of time, you can use the Airbnb.ru service or other apartment booking systems. There are also agencies.
The title turned out to be an advertising slogan, which is still shown on TV in Pattaya. Why the Atlantis advertisement sounds like the first giant in Pattaya, I don't know. In fact, the earlier giant is the Lumpini Park condominium in Jomtien. It is several times larger than Atlantis. But Atlantis condo proudly bears its title and rightfully deserves all the honors bestowed upon it by the strongest PR company. Really cool condo!
Atlantic condo Pattaya
Now there are no people left in Pattaya who have not yet heard about this grandiose project, which was brought to life quite recently in 2015. We couldn’t help but visit it, and even more so we couldn’t help but show it to you, our readers.
Photo of Atlantis condo from the road
Where is Atlanis Condo located
Condo Atlantis is located in the area on the second street from the sea. It's not difficult to walk to the beach. You need to cross the road and then move along a straight street. 7-10 minutes walk and you are on the beach. It takes longer to get to the search market, about 30 minutes. There are currently vacant lots around the condo, but due to the illuminated busy road in the evening there is no fear of stray dogs.
7/11 right in the condo. A lifesaver will always be at hand
Atlantic condominium territory
In the courtyard, all free space is occupied by pools, waterfalls, palm trees and recreation areas. There's all sorts of cool entertainment to be had all over Atlantis. For example, an entire ship was built here. And you can climb on it!
Even Slava and I were very tempting to climb it. I can imagine how much delight it causes in children.
It is not for nothing that the condominium was designed primarily for married couples with children. In addition to the ship, a small slide was installed here. Almost like a water park at home. When there is a desire, but there is no opportunity to go to, then a slide in the yard will save the situation.
Atlantis also has waterfalls and a large swimming pool. Water is literally everywhere. It seems that the entire condo area is one continuous pool. Those who live on the first floor can dive into the bass directly from the balcony.
The water in it is clean and cool. I checked! Without any doubt, swimming here will be pleasant and will not get boring even after a long time.
Where can I order a transfer from the airport?
We use the service - KiwiTaxi
We ordered a taxi online and paid by card. We were met at the airport with a sign with our name on it. We were taken to the hotel in a comfortable car. You've already talked about your experience In this article.
Atlantis condo is currently the most popular and most populated complex among the new ones. Even now in the low season, most of the apartments are occupied. Many people move in for the winter already in the summer. I can imagine what will happen here in winter and in the New Year!
Rent an apartment in Atlantis condo
It has its own characteristics. Firstly, Russian staff works at the reception. We have never seen anything like this anywhere else in Pattaya. Secondly, there are no studios in Atlantis, as we were told, only one- and two-room apartments.
How much does it cost to rent an apartment in Atlantis? The Russian guy told us the price for 1-bedroom 14 thousand baht per month for a rental of 6 months. For long-term contracts, Internet is paid separately. Electricity 8 baht per unit (government rates 4 baht), water 33 baht.
They don’t show the apartments, so as not to have to lift their loved one out of the chair once again. They only suggest looking at photos of apartments in catalogues. Thai staff are much more pleasant to deal with. They will show you everything, tell you with a smile, and not slip you some catalog with photos of apartments. After all, you need to feel the apartment, understand whether you are satisfied with the floor, the view from the window, the smell, the cleanliness, the presence and absence of any objects. Therefore, the photo of the apartment in the article is not ours. This is one of the apartments of the owner who posted an ad on social networks and offers to rent an apartment in Atlantis Condo directly without intermediaries.
They did not insist on viewing the apartment. Atlantis suited us quite well in terms of quality, but not in price. We estimated that 14 thousand rent + 600 internet + 2000 bills = a total of almost 17 thousand baht per month ($500). A little expensive.
We knew we could find something less expensive. They only wished Atlantis to remain the same wonderful air conditioner and continue to delight its residents.
Atlantis reviews
Atlantis condominium in Pattaya is truly one of the best. Both the territory and the size of the pool and the furnishings of the new designer apartments in Atlantis fully correspond to the price required for occupancy.
Here are the reviews from our reader, who lived in Atlantis Condo with her child for 2 months:
“We rent an apartment in Atlantis for 13,000. Wifi is included in the price. I paid 1,700 baht for electricity and water for June, despite the fact that we don’t turn off the air conditioning at all. Everything is close here. Beach street 5 minutes, tuk tuk 10 baht, right in Seven's house. Super gym and generally very beautiful area. In general, there are monthly contracts starting from 15,000. Annual from 11,000. There are no studios in this condo. Only 1 bedroom. But the apartment is great. Everything is."
By the way, we later learned that renting an apartment in Atlantis through a Russian owner would be a little cheaper than through an unfriendly reception desk. Within 12-13 thousand baht per month. It is quite possible to find such prices when renting for 2-3 months in the low season.
However, we usually do not trust such private advertisements, otherwise there are many stories on the Internet. We prefer to rent officially through the reception with an agreement and payment receipts. Or through the Airbnb website, as there is also support and a guarantee that you will not be left without housing.
How to book an apartment in Atlantis for daily rent
It is not possible to rent an apartment in the Atlantis condominium daily or weekly on site, but you can book it through Booking using the following links. We advise you to book on the same day if there is a free apartment for your days, as they are snapped up very quickly in this air conditioner.
Rent an apartment in Atlantis condo
- 1-bedroom apartment for up to 4 people
- Pool View Apartment and 2 Bedroom Apartment
- Large family apartments with 2 rooms
- Many apartments from the cheapest to large apartments for 11 people
- Apartment with Pool View
Please note that when renting an apartment in Atlantis through Booking or Airbnb, you will be asked to pay an additional amount for cleaning and laundry (600-1000 baht). Moreover, the cleaning will be done after you leave. This is normal, not a scam, since a condominium is not a hotel. The owner of the apartment will pay this money to the cleaners and take the linen to the dry cleaner. If you want to order cleaning during your stay, it will be paid separately (usually 300 baht).
Atlantis condo on the map
Coordinates: 12.887205, 100.882599
Initially, we were looking for room B110 (my parents lived in it on our last trip) with access to the children's pool area through the lawn. Firstly, it’s convenient, and secondly, you’re already familiar with the room and know what to expect when you check in. Unfortunately, the second point turned out to be almost one hundred percent theory; in practice, everything was different.
When booking, the approximate time of arrival was indicated. The keys were in the mailbox so there was no need to meet us. A little later, a young man arrived who immediately indicated that he was not the owner, but was only moving in. By the way, he apparently doesn’t solve any questions (he listens, nods, promises to clarify... but we didn’t get any results. Even simple answers). Basically, the impression was that he had either just started working with the owner of this apartment (more precisely, two apartments, + Rent B812, but more on that a little later), or he was simply replacing someone. Not a single issue regarding our apartment was resolved.
Pros:
- The room was booked through Bukin, but from the owner, and not through the Condo management company or realtors. Accordingly, the price was two times lower than a year and a half ago. At the same time, the booking conditions were incredibly attractive, which at some point raised some doubts about the reality of this offer. I would like to note right away that we did not have any problems with payment and check-in/accommodation. Bukin/Owner withdrew from the card the amount indicated in the column: 100% of payment.
- I would like to draw your attention to the moment of conversion. The payment amount is indicated in baht (and is charged in baht at the current exchange rate), and the amount in rubles is also indicated. But they will withdraw more than the specified number ₽ from the card. So banks calculate as follows: ruble to dollar, dollar to baht (or vice versa). For us it turned out to be about a 3-4% plus to the amount of payment in rubles.
- cleaning (once a week) is not included in the price. For me this is a definite plus, as I consider it a useless waste. I can wash the floors myself, but replacing towels and bed linen doesn’t cost that much money;
- A huge plus is the appearance of a washing machine (with vertical loading). For the entire stay, water was paid immediately (1000 baht for 15 days). By the way, I was very pleased with the machine (9 programs: from 28 to 54 minutes. You can change/add/exclude something else there, but we didn’t use it) on the P9 (28 minutes) when fully loaded, everything is clean without any complaints. Spinning is more like drying, which is a fabulous bonus in this climate. The dryer was on the balcony and everything dried perfectly overnight. The only BUT: after the rain, we still had to move it to an apartment under air conditioning due to high humidity;
- There was a water dispenser at the entrance. Very convenient and economical. 6 liters - 4 baht. The water there is warm and... not tasty (even if cooled). A little advice: when you go to get water, look at the machine’s screen or just place your bottle and press the button. In most cases, there was paid water left that was not included (although for the sake of clarity of conscience I recommend waiting a few minutes. Suddenly the previous user ran for an empty container). Take 1 baht coins and an extra empty bottle of 0.5-1.5 liters with you. Drop the coins gradually, not all at once. The machine in housing B overflows. (In the neighboring building (according to the residents), on the contrary, there is not enough water;
- On the plus side, I would also like to note the presence of two keys to the apartment, but there is still only one magnetic key to the central entrance to the building.
Cons... unfortunately there are many of them.
- We never received an additional set of bed linen + pillows and a blanket (for the sofa). For some reason there were 4-5 towels. In Big C and Tesco, prices for bedding destroyed us with their inaccessibility (relative to price/quality), so we made do with buying inexpensive fleece (200x80 cm for 200 baht/piece);
- Internet: Wi-fi appeared from time to time after a week, but it was of no use to anyone. And no one cared. The presence of free wi-fi was indicated when booking the apartment as a mandatory option. To our bitter disappointment, wi-fi (aka the elusive bakuri) did not work normally for a single day... From time to time it illuminated us with its unexpected appearance, but then mysteriously disappeared into nowhere. In this regard, we sang songs of praise to Thai mobile operators, whose Internet works beyond all praise everywhere, except... what location do you think? That's right, our number 110, where 3G barely streamed videos from YouTube. Here it’s worth addressing the ubiquitous and extremely important BUT: the video only works near windows and on the balcony. At the dinner table, the hope of watching the video died immediately;
- And all this against the backdrop of the absence of Russian TV channels (like a year and a half ago). Out of hopelessness (on the fifth day) we started playing news/shows in Thai in the background. After about ten minutes it seemed to us that we understood this beautiful, melodic and completely unfamiliar language;
- Safe. He is no longer there and there is no use asking him. To be fair, I note that when booking a room on Bukin, this option was not available;
- More than just an unpleasant aftertaste was left from the lack of hot water. If this seemed like a whim to you, then here’s a small addition for you - there’s no warm one either. At all. Only cool. At times it seemed to me that the water in the pool was warmer than in the shower. As a result, the words of the kindest cat Leopold were more relevant than ever: “We will survive this trouble.” And they survived. With terrible discomfort, but we survived;
- The cleanliness of the apartment leaves much to be desired. The first impression is the most ordinary unkemptness. It seems clean, but... . The second impression is shocking when you pay attention to the chairs, sofa and curtains... all this does not just require cleaning, but rather replacement. I won’t write anything more about this, because I don’t have the slightest desire to choose/choose words too carefully (as for the cleanliness of bed linen and towels, there are no complaints here);
- This is a problem. The presence of a plunger immediately alerted me... and for good reason. There are no complaints about the sink in the kitchen and the toilet, but the sink in the bathroom and the drains on the floor in the bathroom/toilet are a nightmare! The water in the sink takes at least an hour (and its volume is tiny. Only one person can wash/brush their teeth). In the shower, the slope of the floor is reversed; the water does not go into the drain hole, but accumulates in the opposite direction. The same applies to the toilet flush. Since the partition between the shower and toilet is narrow, water naturally flows throughout the entire bathroom, and due to the incorrect slope, this water runs into the bedroom;
- Dishes. Plates/mugs/forks/spoons - yes. But the pots/pans... they seem to be there, but they’re not there. It is unlikely to fry something unburnt in a frying pan “a la WOK” - it is in a completely sad state. The large saucepan originally stood under the sink and gave off the smell of a mopping bucket (which, by the way, is not there). There is also a small “saucepan-ladle”; it is the only one that inspired confidence. If you are going to cook yourself, then first go to the mini-market for household goods, etc. From the condo towards the center to the ring and up along the right side. It's not far from the condo and the prices are reasonable for "disposable" kitchen utensils that you don't mind leaving behind;
- The refrigerator is fine, but the freezer has character. Ice from 7/11 remains ice, but we couldn’t freeze anything. Bacon, for example, did not freeze in two days;
- The chairs on the balcony are complete... another sadness. I don't understand why they are still there? It is absolutely impossible to sit on them. The backs of the chairs sagged and were held together only by torn wire braiding. The gate is not just covered in rust, it is dying a slow and painful death. By the way, it is only held on by the upper hinge, so be careful. The latch also changed color from black to red. Although if you are traveling with kids, this will be a definite plus for you and you can be sure that the children will not run into the pool. Because opening the gate is problematic even for an adult, but for a small child it is simply unrealistic.
In general, when booking this apartment, be prepared for a lack of silence. The pool is open from 09:00 to 21:00, but this does not mean that during the remaining 12 hours there will be no swimmers (this happens rarely, but is quite noisy and impressive). If you are annoyed by the enthusiastic squeals of children, as well as the endless running of parents and the same children from all over the condo (more reminiscent of Brownian movement), if you are not prepared that the majority of bored vacationers within a radius of 15 meters (and others passing by) will look at your balcony (and its filling up to the clothes on the dryer) then this apartment is not your option.
But if you are traveling with children (especially with toddlers), then this option is still worth considering. Similar rooms nearby cost 10-30 tr. more expensive and the owners don't speak Russian. The Germans usually live in the next room, and the Chinese always live diagonally. Now I write exclusively about similar apartments with access to the children's pool area through the lawn.
Many rooms have access to the pool from the balcony. I didn’t live, I don’t know. In my opinion, such apartments will be convenient for guests without small children and for those who spend a minimum of time in the apartment during the day, but like to cool off in a cool pool and swim in the silence of the night.
I am sure that the situation with the B812 is a pure coincidence, but not writing about it would be a crime.
Ten hours of travel is incredibly exhausting. The body and mind require certain algorithms to be followed: relax, take a shower, lie in bed for a few minutes. Each of us has our own “wants”. But I very much doubt that a person (even for a moment) could immediately have the desire to grab a broom and a floor rag in order to be able to walk barefoot, wash dishes... just to be able to eat and drink tea, sort through luggage in search of what they brought Bring towels with you, because the choice between sleeping on a terrible sofa with a clean bed or a huge bed with dirty bed linen is obvious.
There is a washing machine that categorically refused to make life easier. Instead, she organized a boycott and dumped all the water on the floor of the balcony, which forced her to forget about it.
The apartment was, of course, later cleaned, although this was no longer relevant. They also brought bed sheets/towels. But settling into this cesspool after a ten-hour journey (flight, customs, transfer) was... let there be an ellipsis here, because none of us could find even a remotely suitable definition for these emotions.
But in general the apartment is more well-kept than B110.
P.S. The plunger from B110, the day after the arrival, spent most of the time working on the toilet B812.
Most likely we will never return here again. Yes, very convenient location (both condo and apartment). Near 7/11 and hypermarkets (Tesco and Big C). Night market nearby. Morning seafood market. There are at least two cafes within walking distance with good food, service and affordable prices. Everything seems to be good, but it’s at least half as good as last year.
P.S.
The children's area has been replaced and is now safer;
There seems to be less garbage in the “green” zone;
At 7/11 you can connect to unlimited Internet for a week or a month. Gestures help you because English is not their strong point. Maybe there was such a shift;
There are only two working massage zones left;
The connections on the white slide came apart (if your spine is problematic, it’s better to ride while sitting).
Massage.
Last time I recommended the White Salon. Forget it like a bad dream. The service died from the complete indifference of the staff.
But the massage on the beach (black umbrellas) was a very pleasant surprise. Especially the woman with number 134 (rudely, of course, but they are all numbered there). The foot massage is simply divine. This is not just physical pleasure, but also incredible emotional relaxation. One bad thing: it only works during the day. For this reason, you can always agree with her about a time the next day (or whenever necessary). She will be free in at least 15 minutes and will wait the same amount if you are late. The price is higher than in salons: 300 baht, but it's worth it.
The salon is from the condo down to the end of the street on the right side (the “lots of shoes at the entrance” factor was decisive:
- First of all, I would like to note that there are very powerful air conditioners there. If you are afraid of drafts, then choose your locations carefully. In the foot massage room, these are the first two chairs directly under the air conditioning. Although if you are cold, they will wrap you in blankets;
- I found the perfect master here named Tut. In the photo album you will find the spelling of her name in Thai and a photo. After her massage, my legs were always light, and I was well-rested.
Excursions.
Like last time, we took it from Maxim at OlegTur. We have nothing to write about them except words of gratitude.
Food:
“Crocodile” is the same as it was a year and a half ago. Tasty, inexpensive and comfortable. Kiki is still there and still surrounds everything with care.
Cafe "St. Petersburg".
The cuisine is Russian. See the menu in the photo album. Delivery. Walking distance from the condo is about 15 minutes.
The impression is ambiguous. I'll start from the very beginning. It’s very hot there (the fans are clearly there for beauty, not for comfort), the service in a practically empty room is a C-minus (many ridiculous mistakes: they brought a glass of juice instead of a liter, they messed something up in the kitchen. And naturally it all remains on the table and on the bill. On our first visit, almost all the dishes had a clear excess of garlic. The solyanka was not made with meat broth, but apparently there was nothing in it. The dumplings turned out to be inedible. I left the tongue in sour cream sauce with garlic. no comments. Those were the minuses, and now about the pluses: potatoes with meat, dumplings, pies.... mmmmm! And the most gorgeous thing is kvass! It’s quite good! And what a library they have! taste. You can take it with you and return it later.
There is free delivery, which is very convenient. Fortunately, the garlic disappeared from the dishes the next time we ordered.
Hypermarkets:
Big C and Tesco.
The best time to go there for groceries is in the evening. And there are fewer people and higher discounts (this is about chilled products).
Parents of boys should pay attention to radio-controlled cars (we haven't looked at girls' toys). Exactly the same ones at the festival cost one and a half times more;
I was amazed by the gigantism of the packaging. The boxes look like 300 grams, but in fact they are 80-90 grams (this applies to cookies, sweets, breakfasts);
Otherwise, it’s a very ordinary hypermarket where you can find everything you need for your stay.
The only thing we couldn’t find there were the usual notebooks for elementary school. Even ordinary thin checkered ones. See all finds in the photo album.
But the office pleased me with its diversity. The prices are really steep, but this is in comparison with those in Irkutsk.
Tesco near Terminal 21.
More precisely, a sports store of the Decathlon chain.
Mine were looking for a mask (see photo). At the markets they only sell glasses + a pipe (200-300 baht). At the festival the price for this mask is 1700 or a little more. Decathlon has 800 (I don’t dare to say that they are the same).
As for clothes, the prices are slightly lower than on the website of the Moscow store (curiosity forced me to compare).
If you are with children, then go to the slot machines (behind the escalators). The children will be delighted. 10 baht per attraction.
Terminal 21.
The whole shopping center is an amazing photo zone!
There are several photos in the album, but I recommend Googling more detailed information (fortunately there is plenty of it)
In terms of shopping, I was only interested in children's stores. Not very many of them.
The first store captivated me with its displays of car models. The price is steep, but I want to buy everything at once (see photo). And your age/gender/hobbies are completely unimportant.
A store with robots, quadcopters, etc. (if I’m not mistaken, they are nearby). The selection + price is much better compared to other stores. Plus a Russian-speaking employee.
Fast food.
Carl's Jr (Terminal 21). If it's a hamburger, that's it. Don't rape your taste buds with McDuck and King.
Night market.
Everything here is the same as before: an abundance of various hundred-ruble goods.
Clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc.
But now it’s problematic to bargain with them. Minus 10 baht-ok, and when they hear 30 they simply lose interest and stop conducting dialogue. It was somehow more fun before.
The “edible” rows this time seemed more diverse, but I didn’t want pizza, and the sushi/rolls didn’t inspire confidence. See the photos for the rest (selection/prices).
