The climate of Sudak is generally similar to the climate of the southern coast of Crimea, but much drier. The resort is characterized by: clear sunny weather, absence of sudden temperature changes.

To the south of the New World are the Blue and Golubaya bays, separated by Cape Kapchik. On the shore of the Blue Bay there is Tsarsky Beach - a narrow pebble strip near a bowl of mountains, decorated with a juniper grove. It is believed that Nicholas II rested on the beach during his visit to the New World. Today, due to the danger of rockfall, Tsarsky Beach is closed to the public. However, you can swim in the waters of the Blue Bay from yachts regularly cruising along the bays.

Active recreation and excursion tourism in Sudak and the New World go hand in hand. The fortress appeared in the 12th century, at a time when the coast of the peninsula from the Bosporus (Kerch) to Chersonesos belonged to the Genoese. Their capital was located in Feodosia, and a military base was located on the territory of modern Sudak.
