Manual for visiting the rock festival invasion. Getting ready for Dobrofest: yes - money, no - alcohol. What you can and cannot take with you What to take to the open-air festival
We waited! In a few days, Yaroslavl will host the Dobrofest music and entertainment festival for the ninth time, which this year had to be postponed to the end of July due to the World Cup. Portal 76.ru decided to remind you what you need to take with you to Dobrofest and what to be prepared for.
Short, expensive, awesome
First, you have to be ready to fork out. Hanging out at the festival for three days is no cheaper than a vacation at sea. A subscription for all three days with an unlimited number of visits to the festival territory will now cost 4,700 rubles per person. If you are going to come by car, you will have to pay another 1,500 rubles for parking. Do you want a warm shower? You are welcome! But again, it's paid. A subscription to use a warm shower and a VIP toilet costs 500 rubles, you can buy it at the entrance to the festival. Food on the territory of the festival is also, of course, for money. In one of the tents at the food court, they will cook on coals: 100 rubles for buckwheat porridge, 200 for a hot dog and 290 for a burger.
You can't take alcohol with you. Absolutely impossible
You can bring food with you, but not all. It will not be possible to carry food in glass or metal containers, perishable food. It is forbidden to bring alcohol into the festival area and parking, from drinks you can bring water in a plastic bottle, but be prepared for the fact that at the entrance you may be asked to open the bottle and let you smell the contents.
Prepare for the vagaries of the weather. These days, weather forecasters promise heat - from 25 to 29 degrees during the day, but at night no higher than +18 and rain with a thunderstorm on Saturday. Therefore, bring warm clothes for the night and a change of clothes in case of rain, unless, of course, you are going to shock everyone with your appearance of a dirt man, as some festival guests already did a couple of years ago.
What else is prohibited
It is forbidden to bring drugs and medicines into the festival territory, with the exception of life-supporting ones, the need for which must be confirmed by medical documents, be prepared for them to be checked at the medical aid point. It is also forbidden to carry pyrotechnics, explosives and weapons.
What to bring to the festival
The organizers advise you to take what you would take with you on a hike.
- Tickets and money.
- Passport or driver's license.
- Medical insurance policy or a copy of it.
- Cell phone, better inexpensive.
- Warm clothes and change of clothes.
- Tent and sleeping bag.
A bonus for festival guests is the opportunity to watch a lunar eclipse while listening to the songs of their favorite bands far from the city lights.
The festival will start on Thursday, July 26, three groups will perform on the Red Stage from 21:00. From noon on the 27th, the fun will begin in full. This year, foreign bands Buckets n Joins from Israel, The hives from Sweden, The Exploited from Scotland will perform at Dobrofest. The Green Stage will feature "Cockroaches", "Pilot", Louna, "Pornofilmy", Anacondaz and many more interesting bands.
Europe hosts over 100 music festivals each year, attended by millions of people. Everyone can easily find a fest that best suits him in terms of genre. Europeans and Australians in general just go crazy with such events, only in Russia it is by no means popular. Last summer I visited 4 major music festivals in Europe: EXIT, Sea Dance, Tomorrowland, Sziget. The emotions that I experienced are difficult to describe in words, videos or photos. This experience definitely affected my later life. In the article I will talk about what is so strong that touches such a huge number of people and makes them spend a lot of money and time on music festivals every year.
If you want to know how to go to Tomorrowland 2015 or Sziget 2015, join our company - fill out the form at this link.
Atmosphere of happiness
Think back to when you were at summer camp as a child. How many emotions did you experience there. It was like a small world in which you completely dissolved. Woke up with the same people every day for several weeks. We made friends and quarreled, played and worked. If you have ever participated in something like this, you will easily remember the highlights. Music festivals will allow you to have the same juicy and magical experiences that you once had as a child. Imagine that you will be with the same people for a whole week. Only this time they'll be out different countries peace! Moreover, you will have a common interest - performers that you all like! This morning you are lying on the grass with the Norwegians, having lunch with the Canadians in the afternoon, and in the evening you are having fun jumping under the Prodigy with the Australians. It's all thanks to music festivals!
1 reason: The atmosphere of the student camp. Again. And it doesn't matter that you are already well over 20! Get out of the gray days
100 to 1
What kind of music do you like? Electro? Rock? Or maybe Indy? Do you like Korn, Prodigy? Or is it Skrillex and Calvin Harris? How do you like this idea: to see ALL the concerts in one week? Music festivals will give you such an opportunity! You buy a ticket for the price of 2-3 concerts, and you watch 20! It is here that you can see those whom you danced at school discos or listened to when preparing for an exam 🙂 At the Hungarian Sziget, I first saw the Blink 182 group - those guys that I associate with my first relationships and school trips. As my friend Danya said: We are already old, but THEY are still young 🙂
Reason 2: See all your favorite artists at once
Enchanting Journey
How many emotions do you get from traveling on a trip to the sea? Lot? I think yes. But what does it depend on? From a beautiful place, a secluded place, from those PEOPLE that you meet. Sometimes it is, of course, noisy discos. At the music festival you will get everything at once in an extremely high dose 🙂 In total, more than 100,000 people gathered on one stage of the Belgian Tomorrowland. Can you imagine how much it is? 🙂 If not, watch the video on my channel How many people on Tomorrowland. Lots of friends. But along with this, you can always find a secluded place where you can spend time with new friends. Some festivals are located on the banks of rivers or reservoirs. So, the Serbian EXIT takes place in a fortress on the banks of the Danube, and Sziget on a huge island in the middle of the Danube! The entire island is dedicated to the festival. But no one forbids you to study the culture of the country where the festival takes place. This is a great chance to get to know such countries as Serbia, Montenegro, Hungary, England and others.
3 reason: Tons of new information about countries and new people will appear in your head. It will give you a lot of food for thought.
Love and gingerbread
I am sure each of you has many friends in your country. Would you like to have friends all over the world? Of course, you can travel, as I do, and at the age of 25 have friends in 50 countries of the world, but the lifestyle of a traveler is not suitable for everyone due to their interests. BUT! Why not go to a place where people come from all over the world! I assure you, after only 1 festival you will have at least +50 new acquaintances and +5 new friends. Minimum! I think, reading this article, you don’t even think about how you would react to the invitation of your new friend John to come to Monte Carlo or visit French Leon, and by the way, saying Milena, with whom you drank coffee at the festival, lives in a house with a view on the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Do I need to pay for it? Need! Friendship. There is no place for money here.
That's not all. You can find your love at a music festival... Do you think they are different? Do you think they speak a different language, so it will be difficult to communicate? Or do you think that no one will truly understand your “Russian soul”? Bullshit! You haven't even tried! Communication with Egyptian waiters does not count. All people are the same and everyone wants love. Based on my own experience of relationships with girls of other nationalities, I will say that love is the same all over the world. It is important to find your person. And no language can stop you. And as my friend Zhenya says: “The Russian language is very rich, so we can easily hurt another with a word, which we later regret. In English, you have to think before you blurt out swear words. They won't be as tough."
Reason 4: At the music festival you can find new friends with a common interest and even love 🙂
New discoveries
Not only will you definitely discover new favorite artists, but you can also radically change your life! New people, new places, new music creates a lot of new thoughts in your head. These are the very insights (insights) that “open your eyes”. You will see things from a different angle. You will suddenly realize that you love to sail when your new Swedish friend tells about his trip on the Baltic Sea, you suddenly decide to move with your family to Australia, because it turns out that nothing is holding you back, and with 10 Australian friends you have already planned a trip to the Great Barrier Reef 🙂
Reason 5: A music festival can drastically change your destiny. This is your chance to go beyond your ordinary world. Don't be afraid - it will be interesting 🙂
Phew. While writing, I again plunged into memories of my native Serbia, the warm sea in Montenegro, the most powerful sound on the main arena of Tomorrowland and wonderful nights in a tent on Sziget in Hungary.
One thing I know for sure - 2015 I will definitely return to Europe in the year to experience again that storm of emotions that does not allow me to sleep peacefully! 🙂
Also, if you want, we can go together. I decided to gather a group of like-minded people and go to festivals together. Most likely it will be Tomorrowland and Sziget. Oby festa is an orgasmic fierie. I will organize myself. If suddenly you understand that you want to be in our team, I will be happy to get to know you and tell you how we will proceed. To participate, you will need to pay a small registration fee. Tentatively, it will be a group of 20-30 people who will live together. I will open a new world for you 🙂
Are you going to the Open-Air music festival for the first time? Don't know how to prepare? In this article, I will talk about my experience of traveling to music festivals. From this article you will find out: how much money you need, what things you need to take with you to the festival, how much food and water cost. What can be taken and what can not.
PURCHASE OF TICKETS.
Tickets for major music festivals, such as Dobrofest, Invasion and others, usually go on sale almost a year before the event. The earlier you buy your ticket, the better. For example, tickets for the Invasion go up 3 times a year. First in January, then in April, and finally in June (the festival itself is in July). At Dobrofest, the price tag usually rises at the end of spring. Many other festivals use similar price planning.
On the INVASION usually you need to buy an entrance ticket, a ticket for a tent and a parking ticket (if you are traveling by car). The properties of entrance tickets are usually described in detail on the site. Let me just say that you should not save on the entrance ticket and it is better to take a VIP in order to be able to walk around the entire festival area, hang out near the stage and not have stupid restrictions. But it usually makes no sense to take a VIP tent: it is often more convenient and comfortable to stay in an ordinary tent camp - it simply has more space. VIP parking usually only means parking closer to the entrance. There are no other bonuses, like security or something else, alas.
On the DOBROFEST more honest and accessible. There are no VIP tents, we set up where it is more convenient, and there are no VIP tickets, everyone is equal. There is a VIP parking, it is closer to the festival, but not much, a couple of hundred meters, so you can buy the usual one. Plus, at Dobrofest, parking is not in a field among potholes and earth, as on Invasion, but quite on an asphalted site. And the tickets are much cheaper. And Dobrofest is much closer from the city than Invasion. And getting there is more convenient. And in general, the festival spirit at Dobrofest is still preserved, while the Invasion has become boring, pretentious, with active state propaganda and performances by army choirs of bunny boys. In general, I mean, when choosing where to go this summer - to Dobrofest or Invasion - think better;)
As a result, we buy tickets in advance, we don’t save on the entrance ticket, if we are talking about the Invasion, but we don’t waste it on unnecessary bonuses, like VIP tents and VIP parking lots. And we begin to prepare for the trip itself.
ACCOMMODATION AT THE FESTIVAL.
So, we are going to an open field for fresh air, for an average of up to 3 days, and we need to think about how we will survive at the festival all this time. Treat this trip like a fun hike or camping trip. Since all the accompanying conditions are provided here. Is it a little more comfortable than just in the forest, there were no mosquitoes and they are not allowed to make fires. To begin with, we will decide where and how we will live.
And for life we will need:
– tent (1 for the whole company)
- sleeping bags (1 for each nose)
and as a bonus, for convenience:
- inflatable mattress
- travel mat
- foam-"podzhopnik" with a clasp
- inflatable pillow
We live in a tent, we sleep in sleeping bags. Sleeping bags are not needed for winter, because. festivals are still held in the summer. You can never guess the weather: it can be sultryly hot, it can rain, or it can get colder. But it is better to proceed from the calculation of the average temperature of about 10-15 degrees at night (this is for the selection of a sleeping bag). For minimal comfort, sleeping bags and a tent will be enough, but sleeping even on a canvas bottom of a tent on uneven ground among grass and bumps with pits may not be very comfortable (pits / bumps digging into the side), so it’s not at all superfluous to take an air mattress: it will provide a more comfortable sleep at night. Tourist rugs will allow you to comfortably sit near the stage, if the weather allows, when the bands that are not the most interesting for you are playing, and the foam pad with fasteners will completely solve the problem of “sit where I want” and so that your pants or shorts do not get dirty. An inflatable pillow may seem completely unnecessary at first, but it is especially useful in marathon festivals, where by 2-3 nights you will already feel that you can’t sleep well without a pillow.
By the way, if you know how to play, be sure to take a guitar with you. Become the star of the nearest tents at night 100%.
FOOD AT THE FESTIVAL.
The most interesting question is food prices at the festival. It all depends, of course, on the region of the event, on inflation in the country and on the greed of the participants-organizers of outlets.
At the festival, the main food is usually:
- kebabs (expensive)
— doshiraks and rolltons (available)
- a tent with a homemade "dining" kitchen (usually with an incredible queue and little)
- hot dogs and boiled corn
- chips, crackers, etc.
And for drinks:
- beer (beer, and again beer)
- mineral water
- sweet sodas
- if there is a VIP zone - then a bar with strong alcohol, very expensive
The cost of food at the festival is always inflated relative to normal store prices. So, in previous years (2014-2015), beer at the Dobrofest festival cost no less than 150 rubles for 0.5, as well as ordinary water (for the same 0.5). A barbecue costs an average of 300-500 rubles for a small portion. Boiling water for doshirak-rolltons costs about 50 rubles, the rollons themselves cost an average of 70-100 rubles. Hot dogs 100-200 rubles, home cooking from 50-100 rubles could be eaten modestly, 300-400 rubles - for a normal lunch.
But it is important to take into account that the festival is still held in the open air….. and you will always want to eat. Appetite works up very quickly. And in hot weather, you will also really want to drink. I would recommend proceeding from the calculation of 5-6 thousand rubles for 3 days of festival rest for 1 person, so as not to limit yourself too much in nutrition, but also without unnecessary waste, with a certain amount of savings.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU TO THE FESTIVAL: FOOD, THINGS, FIRST AID KIT.
In fact, for starters, do not be lazy, go to the festival website and read the rules of this festival, what can and cannot be brought into the territory. However, the rules are usually about the same.
It is forbidden to carry any drinks (even water), especially alcoholic ones. All perishable food is prohibited. Those. by and large, you can take cookies, doshirak and waffles. Although sometimes the sellers of tents lobby the guards, and she forces them to throw out doshiraks at the entrance (hello Invasion). In general, our advice is that you can take a chance and try to take food with you. But it is better to proceed from the fact that you will buy everything on the spot.
Things. It is forbidden to carry anything piercing, cutting (including knives, scissors, etc.). In general, as when going to a club for a concert. But what you MUST take with you is: a hat (necessarily, suddenly it’s hot), sunscreen in a tube, new and with a receipt (because sometimes it’s forbidden to bring it in), warm clothes in case of a cold snap (jacket, sweater), light, non-rubbing shoes (including sandals, sneakers). Shorts and jeans, of course. We advise you to take 2-3 sets of clothes in case of changeable weather. Getting wet in the rain, walking in damp clothes all the next days (and if the rains drag on) is not very pleasant, and there will probably be nowhere to dry, with constant showers. We recommend spending money on a raincoat, moreover, a dense one is better, it is inexpensive, it will help great. And rubber boots can come in very handy, if the ground is flooded with rain, it will quickly turn into mud, especially near the stage.
First aid kit. In general, everything is also very strict with this. You can carry only the most basic means. Be sure to stock up on a band-aid (a lot: rub your feet how to drink), activated charcoal, mezim. If you have an allergy - some kind of remedy in allergy pills (and a doctor's note, no joke, they may not be allowed to carry it through). Ambulances are always on duty on the territory of the festival and they can urgently help with something, but not always and not in everything.
Don't forget toilet paper too. There are toilet stalls at the festival, but they rarely have paper. Often the organizers offer the service of showers for extra money, and sometimes for free. You can usually wash yourself at the “social water”, which is extracted from the ground. Many people drink this (for free), but you should think about your health, and it is better to buy bottled water on the festival site.
No cosmetics are allowed. The necessary creams (from sunburn, for example) can only be taken in tubes: a bottle, a bottle, a glass will be taken away. By the way, you don’t need to take anything from mosquitoes to the festival. Due to the loud sound, there will be no insects in the nearest area. Seriously!
It is better to photocopy documents and take copies. There will be enough photocopies on the territory of the festival. You can lose the originals or they can get lost themselves. Do not take valuables to the festival. Or carry them with you all the time. Of course, most of the festival visitors are normal people. But in any "herd" it will not do without a "lousy sheep". Alas, remember this.
Do not forget to take PowerBank to your smartphone or phone to charge your gadget 2-3 times during the festival. Dobrofest and Invasion usually offer a device charging service, but there are usually queues for this topic, especially around 2-3 days of the festival. Although charging (plug + cord) do not forget too.
Well, that's all the basic advice for those who are going to music Festival especially for the first time.
SEE YOU AT GOOD FEST, INVASTION and other festivals this and next years!

In Helsinki, the traditional Afisha Picnic, which has grown on the scale of Park Live, the Parisian Rock en Seine and other events. Buro 24/7 tells you how to prepare for a music festival in order to make your time there as comfortable as possible.
Print the program in advance and mark the necessary performances in it
Yes, line-up programs are often handed out at the festivals themselves, but it would be better if you print out the order of the musicians' performances on all stages of the festival in advance in order to have time to decide who you will go to and what time to come. Keep in mind that it may happen that two of your favorite artists will play at the same time and you will need to choose which one to go for. Also remember that it is better to arrive in advance, because a queue may well form at the entrance, and it takes time to take good places at the stage.
Print your tickets
If you have e-ticket, print it out just in case. In no case do not post tickets on social networks so that the barcode or QR code is visible.
If you are traveling abroad
If you have just received a visa for the sake of going to the festival, most likely you already have all the most important things - plane tickets, insurance, accommodation reservations and, in fact, the visa itself. If you plan to travel on a visa that you were given for a long time some time ago and for another trip, then you need to purchase all this (yes, you should not disdain insurance either). Buy the currency of the country in which the festival takes place. Study the area where the event is taking place: how to get there from your accommodation, what is near the site, what is near your temporary home, and so on. Get a guide, especially if you plan to stay in another country longer than during the days of the festival.
Check out the list of
what not to bring to the festival
Everything that cannot be brought to the festival, the guards will force you to throw it out at the entrance or take it to the storage room (the Flow Festival definitely has such). Perhaps among these things there will be nothing that is dear to your heart, but still it can spoil the impression of the event. So, now you can’t bring alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and professional photographic equipment to almost any festival, and you definitely can’t come anywhere with weapons and drugs. There are other restrictions as well. For example, you can’t bring selfie sticks on Flow (thankfully).
Take something to sit on
right on the ground
Most festivals have special seating areas with ottomans and sun loungers, but as a rule, there are always fewer of them than visitors, so it’s better to make sure that you sit comfortably in advance. It can be a blanket for a large company, travel rugs or seats, and folding chairs are allowed somewhere (for example, at the Afisha Picnic).
Stock up on cash
It is absolutely certain that not all festival outlets with food and goods will be equipped with terminals for paying with bank cards, so stock up on cash. It also makes it easier to control your spending. However, there will also be points with bank cards, so if you don’t have time at all, then don’t be discouraged. If you buy drinks at the Flow festival, don't throw away the bottles - there you can return them to special collection points, and for each bottle you will receive one euro (this deposit is included in the price of all drinks at the Flow site).
Take your identification documents
Just in case, it is better to have some documents proving your identity with you - a passport, driving license, and so on. They may not be useful to you, but it is still better to take them with you.
Stock up on wet wipes
You will spend the whole day outside. Perhaps in the rain or in crazy heat, so bring wet wipes with you just in case - antibacterial and some for the face.
Don't forget your portable phone charger
A power bank is a must-have accessory for today's festival goer, because you're sure to shoot a lot on your phone and it'll run out of power before the headliner comes out. There are also charging stations for all kinds of phones at festivals, but queues can form for them, so it's best to rely on yourself.
Bring a raincoat and a sweater or jacket
You never really know the weather, so even if you're going out for the festival on a sunny day, it's still worth bringing a raincoat with you if you don't want to get wet. It can get chilly in the evening, in which case you'll need a jacket or sweater or light jacket. Of course, if it is very hot outside, then you can do without “extra equipment”.
Bring sunscreen with you
Get ready not to do the following things:
Do not sing along loudly to your favorite performers while in a crowd of spectators: they came to listen to a musician they also like, not you.
If you move closer to the stage, then do not stand in front of people shorter than you: they also want to see at least something on the stage, and not your back.
Do not wear things that are too dear to your heart: you should not be sorry to take your clothes in the mud, put grass or juice stains on them and soak them through in the downpour.
Do not smoke in a dense crowd - it is still inconvenient, it will be unpleasant for someone, and then the mother will scold someone underage, suspecting of smoking (and this can also threaten adults). Step aside.
- Do not wear open sandals or sandals on your feet if you plan to stand near the stage - your feet will simply be trampled! Choose closed shoes that will protect your feet even if someone steps on them. However, flip-flops or sandals will come in handy in the shower, as it is not recommended to stand barefoot in public showers.
- Bring a raincoat, raincoat, or anything else that will keep you out of the rain if the weather forecast says rain is a possibility. A large plastic trash bag can be used as a raincoat and won't take up much space in your backpack.
- You may need a bandana. It's a multifunctional piece that can be worn wet in hot weather to cool your head, or repelled and worn dry to ward off insects. A bandana will also keep hair away from your face, and it looks good too.
-
Put a water container in your backpack. It's best to put the water in a bottle or a rollable bag, but a plain drink bottle will do. In order not to hide water deep in the backpack, you can fasten it to the side of the backpack.
Be prepared for different ways of cooking. The amount of food you take with you will depend on: 1. your budget; 2. location of the tent relative to the stage; your desire to carry extra weight with you. Here's how you can eat at the festival without buying anything in tents:
- If you decide to cook, bring a compact and safe stove, stove fuel, frying pan, plastic bowls, plates and cutlery with you. You can take a flask with you and pour boiling water into it in special places on the festival territory (you can pour boiling water over instant noodles and other similar foods). An opener or a can opener will come in handy, but if you have an army knife, it will suffice.
- Buy rice, noodles and instant mashed potatoes. It's best to buy these foods in plastic containers that they can be brewed in so you don't have to carry a lot of utensils. You can buy instant soup.
- It is convenient to take with you smoked sausage, cans of tuna, jerky, sausages, nuts, raisins, dried fruits, bread, muesli bars, sweets and chips in a carton (so as not to accidentally crush them) - these products will not go bad, and they are not needed Cook.
- If you want to drink hot drinks, put tea and coffee bags (it's best to hide them in a ziplock bag), cocoa, milk powder and sugar in your bag.
-
Do not take anything glass with you. There is always a lot of alcohol at festivals and it is sold everywhere, as is food, but if you want to bring your own drinks, the bottles must be plastic, as broken glass fragments can injure other people. For the same reason, all alcohol at festivals is sold either in plastic glasses or in aluminum cans. You can take instant drinks with you (for example, "Cevita" or "Yuppi").
- Do not forget to put an empty bottle in your backpack to dilute the drink in it.
- You can also buy energy drinks.
- Find out in advance if you can bring your own bottles to the festival.
-
Take a minimum of toiletries. At the festival, everyone smells the same, so don't be overly scrupulous. Pack your toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, deodorant, and pads or tampons if you're a woman. This will be enough for you - leave the face cream and shaving gel at home. It doesn't hurt to pack a small towel in case you're going to shower at the campsite.
- Don't forget to bring sunscreen and insect repellant. The cream may start to melt in the heat, so wrap it in newspaper and store in the shade.
- Wet wipes can be used to wipe not only hands and body, but also kitchen utensils. Try to find multiple uses for everything.
- Pack a Band-Aid (for blisters), headache and sore throat pills, and any other medicines you might need.
- Take earplugs. They will come in handy if you want to listen to the performance of some very loud band or sleep.
-
Assemble a kit for repairing clothes and things. This set will help you deal with tears, cuts and breakages quickly and easily. Include duct tape, pins, bandage, string, and strong trash bags. Garbage bags have many uses: you can sit on them, you can make raincoats out of them, you can put wet and dirty clothes and shoes in them.
- It is important not to forget toilet paper, an army knife, a lighter, a flashlight (folding flashlights are especially convenient), a portable phone charger (a solar-powered device is ideal), zip-lock bags (in order to prevent your phone, passport, etc. from getting wet). important things), a camera (with a spare battery and a memory card) and money in small bills (there is often no change at festivals).
-
Take whatever things you want, as long as there is room for them. Depending on the festival, you may need the following items:
- Flags, streamers, posters
- Costumes, face paint, wigs, jewelry, cosmetics, temporary tattoos
- Magazine or book, deck of cards, games
- Glowing sticks
- Binoculars
- Picnic basket
- Cigarettes (or decide it's time to quit!)
- condoms
- Cooling package
- Addresses of friends to send postcards from the festival
-
Help the children get ready if you are bringing them along. Children love festivals, but it's harder to pack their bags because they have to be comfortable and cozy there. It is convenient to carry children in a bicycle trailer, but do not forget to attach a lock to it so that random passers-by do not decide to take it with them. Take a marker to write your phone number on the child's hand, as well as clothing and earmuffs in case it's too loud and the child wants to sleep. Explain to the child what he should do and where to go if he gets lost. Think over everything to the smallest detail.
- Take things with you that you can keep the kids busy with. They must be quiet, they must have batteries and many small parts. Suitable soap bubbles, water guns, etc.
- Make sure your child has their own camera (you can buy them a disposable film camera), a favorite toy (with a sign with a name, phone number, or email address in case it gets lost), and a fun costume.
- Bring sweets for the kids.
-
Get ready to go to the festival. You will need tickets, a map, a navigator and a roadside assistance business card. If you have a small car, buy railings and a roof rack. You will need cables to secure the tent and other luggage from above.
- Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a car charger for your phone, and CDs from the bands that will be playing at the festival to set the right mood for you.
- If you make stops along the way, take packaged sugar, pepper, salt, napkins, toothpicks, etc. with you at gas stations.
- When you park near the campsite, write down the number of the parking space, because you will forget it as soon as you leave the car. If the seats are not numbered, attach an empty bottle to the antenna or tie a flag so that the car can be seen from afar.
-
When you return to your car after the festival is over, you will be tired, hungry, cold and possibly soaked through. Leave a bag in the car with warm, comfortable clothes, soft socks, food, drinks, and a towel. Turn on soothing music, and your trip home will give you many pleasant moments, especially if it is cold and wet outside.
Choose comfortable bags and a backpack. Consider the method of transportation around the festival area and the distance from the campsite to the car. A backpack is best. The suitcase will be hard to carry far; in addition, you will cling to them for people passing by. Do not take a bag or suitcase on wheels with you: the wheels will not be able to roll on the ground and will get stuck in the mud.
Take a sleeping bag and a tent with you. There are many lightweight camping mattresses available. Choose one that doesn't need to be inflated - it will be much easier for you, and besides, you won't have to take a pump with you. To cut down on the amount of stuff you have to put in your backpack, you can choose to sleep with just your clothes on. Pillows seem like a luxury, but sleeping in a tent is much more pleasant with them. If the pillow does not fit in the backpack, it can be worn between the backpack and the back. Look for special travel pillows that are easy to inflate and deflate (you don't even need a pump for this).
Wear suitable clothing. Clothing for the festival should be bright and original - prove yourself! However, you should consider weather conditions and be prepared for weather changes. Don't wear jeans, because if it rains, they will get wet and absorb dirt, which will make you very uncomfortable. It is better to wear shorts or a short skirt and leggings or tights with rubber boots. Lightweight cycling and hiking pants (usually made from a fabric that can be washed and dried quickly and easily) will also work.
