China or Vietnam what to choose in February. Sanya or Nha Trang. Thailand, Vietnam, China, India: what to choose, prices
Thai, Vietnam, Cambodia - exotic on the rise. Oddly enough, I liked Cambodia the most.
Thai last time seemed not at all friendly to me, especially in contrast to Cambodia. In Bangkok, they tried to take us somewhere in the wrong place by tuk-tuk a couple of times. The first incident happened during the day, the driver decided to take us to the shops, where he counted on kickbacks, although we gave him the exact address where we needed to go. I just had to get off at the crossroads and leave under the curse of the driver when we realized that we were going the other way and drove into the second store in a row. And the incident in the evening was very unpleasant. We also got into a tuk-tuk, it was already dark, called the address - agreed on the amount, and drove off. We sit and chat, and after a while I begin to understand that they are taking us to the wrong place. There are fewer residential buildings (we were with a friend alone). As a result, we jumped out almost on the go, in a dark place. Then for a long time they could not catch the car, no one just stopped. I barely managed to catch a taxi, he cautiously stopped and said along the way that this is an area for locals, there are no tourists here, it is very dangerous here, they are afraid to stop here. Just felt sorry for the two white girls standing on the side of the road. For which he received double payment and our immense gratitude. But the sediment is still there :)
Tai - about street food - they sprinkle glutamate everywhere, for them it's just a seasoning. Then I already got the hang of grabbing the tent sellers by the hand with a request not to add this muck :). And so, at first, a persistent feeling of disgust. On the third day you get used to it. Everything is cooked and served by hand, for us it's wild. Fruit can lie in a mountain right on the ground or asphalt. Bald dogs will sit nearby, cockroaches will run 10 centimeters each. There are a lot of geckos in the hotels on the coast in the rooms, but we had a mutual reaction with them. I screamed, we ran away in different directions :).
UAE - many times I was with a child when he was small. Now it doesn't pull at all. Too somehow everything is sterile there. The sea is just water (often muddy) and sand (bulk). There are no fish at all. You can only swim on the beach at the hotel. Or in a burkini in general). If you find yourself in Ramadan (we got there twice) - they won’t even sell a bottle of water in the city. I repeatedly got tweaks from local women :) - although I was in trousers-t-shirt-cardigan. It is very cold in hotels and shops, they just adore condos, we were not comfortable even in sweaters. We went on excursions a lot - but according to my recollections, somehow everything was past. Particularly not impressed. I only remember the constant - don't go there, it's impossible, don't you dare take pictures. Therefore, I concluded for myself that it is good only in the hotel - excellent rooms, good service. But the food is all imported, the fruits are appropriate. Yes, we were in hotels where there were lobsters with champagne for breakfast, and ladies (mostly Russians) in high heels on the beach. Everything is beautiful, chic, but not soulful somehow. I remember beer on the beach (0.33) for 15 bucks a bottle. Impressive. Of entertainment for children - nostalgia only for water and ordinary amusement parks. They know how, and it's really interesting there. The best I have seen yet. 26.07.2018 14:15:51, Olaroma
Today, tourists are paying more and more attention not to expert assessments, but to the reviews of those who have already visited a particular country. Just like reviews about, allowing you to choose the best hotel for your vacation, reviews about holidays in Vietnam provide an opportunity to optimally plan your route, visit. If you use reviews as a guide to action, yours will be bright and memorable!

Again cheating naive tourists!
Hi friends. We were vacationing in Mui Ne in Vietnam and ran into a specific razvodilovo from Pegas Touristik. This razvodilovo is carried out on the so-called free tour, during which you are taken to shops, where everything is supposedly sold the freshest and highest quality. We were brought to a store called Viet house, we bought a lot of tea and coffee like real suckers. When we tried it at the tasting, it was a very tasty tea. But in the room when we o...

New Year tour in Vietnam
Anyone who is going to celebrate the New Year and Christmas in Vietnam, I would like to immediately warn that in Vietnam 80% of the population are atheists, therefore, religious holidays are not widely celebrated, some believers celebrate Catholic Christmas. In Vietnam, New Year is not celebrated as a secular holiday, that is, the hotel will be more likely everything is decorated with a Christmas tree and garlands, but that's all. The local population does not decorate their houses, all shops and institutions work according to the usual schedule ...

Zoklet beach is a charm! See for yourself!
Hello! This information is for those who are lucky enough to have a rest in Nha Trang. 50 km from the city is the beautiful Zoklet beach (in Vietnamese - Doclet), which can be reached by suburban bus number 3. This bus also passes through the so-called "European Quarter" of Nha Trang. I myself stayed at the Hoang Gia Hotel, which is a two-minute walk from the beach. Decent hotel, I recommend, and inexpensive. You will also be offered an exciting...

South Vietnam: A mix of Vietnamese traditions and French heritage
At the beginning of December 2014, I happened to go on a long trip to Vietnam. The plans were to pass it from south to north, from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi, along the "Russian" coast with stops in Mui Ne, Nha Trang, Dalat, Hue, to see Sapa. However, all nine months flew by in the southern part of the country. I’ll make a reservation right away - I traveled alone with a backpack, a laptop, a tablet and a mobile phone, I bought everything I needed in Vietnamese supermarkets or on ...

Family summer in Nha Trang
Rested family from 29.06 to 14.07. 2017. They flew to Vietnam for the first time. Nha Trang is a city with very heavy traffic. There are practically no traffic lights, everyone drives as they like, but everywhere there are markings, zebra crossings, pedestrian crossings that no one observes. It seems that the Vietnamese do not know what traffic rules are. The tourist zone is the first three lines of hotels relative to the sea. We bought the Liberty Central hotel with breakfast on the second line. Very well. Don't wait...

So it was not the first time they rested in Vietnam, and they visited a lot of places, they decided to visit Ho Chi Minh City, or rather Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam. It is considered the economic capital of the country by right, and the locals still call it the way it used to be called - Saigon. We chose a two-day trip on a sleeper bus, with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Mekong Delta and a sightseeing tour of the city. We traveled to Ho Chi Minh by sleeping car...

Vietnam for the first time
Good evening everyone from Siberia! Vietnam was our first country in South East Asia. We chose the city of Nha Trang, and you know, my wife and I did not regret it. There is an absolutely different life, which cannot be compared with the European one. Of course, for the first time, the days were a little wild and creepy for us (My wife was still in the first months of pregnancy). all these aromas, rats on the streets, fish sauce makes itself felt over a long distance)) We stayed at the Liberty Hotel, which is on the second line. We also visited the village of Mui Ne. The road from Nha Trang to Mui Ne takes 5 hours (230 km). On the way, we made a stop at the Coral Pagoda of the Cleansing of Sins, passed the Dragon's labyrinth, the Vietnamese call it "12 circles of Buddhist Hell" (those who are afraid of enclosed space will be creepy). We went through the whole maze with a candle (given out at the entrance), we liked it. From the labyrinth to Mui Ne, the road took 4 hours. We flew by unnoticed, the guide told stories, w...

Elephant trip, Dak Lak
Compare the resorts of Thailand, Vietnam, China and India to decide where it is better to go to rest. If you want to decide which of these countries to choose for your next trip, then this article will be useful to you.
India, Thailand, Vietnam, China: where the climate is better
If we take the high season, then the climate in Thailand, Vietnam, China and India is about the same. Thailand has higher humidity. And in Vietnam, strong winds blow in the winter. In general, you can relax everywhere, especially in the best season.
High season:
- Thailand - November to April
- Vietnam - December to April
- China - December to March
- Goa - from November to April
China, Vietnam, Thailand, India: where to go, flight time
Consider a flight from the central part of Russia, namely from Moscow. The shortest flight will be to India - 7 hours. Next in terms of flight duration are Thailand and Vietnam. In last place is China (Hainan) - about 10 hours. If everywhere is almost the same, then why fly far?
Thailand, Vietnam, China, India: what to choose, prices
India (Goa) definitely wins here. Goa has the lowest prices for food, entertainment and alcohol. Here you can find the same fruits, seafood, delicacies as in Thailand, Vietnam and China, only cheaper. In Goa, you can go to a restaurant and spend 300-400 rupees. In Chapora, in the famous juice center, freshly squeezed juices cost 30-50 rupees. I haven't seen this anywhere else.
In second and third place are Thailand and Vietnam. Prices in these countries are about the same. But like everywhere else, prices are higher in the resorts, and lower away from the tourist trails.
The highest prices in China (Hainan). Everything, absolutely everything is more expensive in Hainan. Nowhere in Asia have I seen such expensive fruits, although they grow right there. Prices for food, alcohol and entertainment are also higher. Very expensive hotels, there are all chain Hiltons and Continentals at very high prices. My most expensive trip was to Hainan.
Thailand, China, India, Vietnam: where to go with children
In India (Goa) - you can, of course, go with children, but there are not many entertainments. There are gently sloping beaches where it is convenient for children to swim. Or spend time at the hotel, by the pool. Although there is a Russian community here with a Russian school, it is winterers there, not tourists.
Thailand - people often come here with children, even to places where it would be better not to go. Although they want to make Pattaya a children's resort, while it is somehow not at all childish. Yes, there are zoos, parks and farms, but everything else that is happening in Pattaya is definitely not for children. I saw parents with children at night on Walking Street. Why are you taking your kids there?
But there are other resorts in Thailand, with equipped playgrounds, children's rooms, for example, in Phuket.
Hainan - everyone goes to the Chinese health resort, and the Chinese themselves often come there with their children. There are a lot of children in the hot springs, and there are a lot of people in general. The Chinese go in groups of 20-30 people. If they have occupied any pool, it is better not to go there, it is useless to wait. If the Chinese are in line for some kind of attraction, then you don’t have to queue for them. More Chinese will come and come, and they will let them go ahead.
Vietnam - often travel with children, some even for the winter. Popular resorts for wintering with children are Nha Trang, Vung Tau.
Entertainment, nightclubs
Thailand - very specific entertainment, for an amateur. Sex shows, transvestites, prostitution cause mixed feelings. For partygoers, there is Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan. Someone likes and they fall in love with this place, someone does not like it at once. I visited all sorts of shows, honestly, I don’t want to anymore. The clubs are mostly Indians, Chinese. There are places for Russians, but something did not impress.
India (Goa) - very good clubs, trance parties, action, I personally like it. But the music is goa psi trance, sometimes techno. Not everyone will like these kinds of music. The audience, respectively, too - hippies, backpackers and all sorts of informals.
Hainan is very quiet, all establishments close at 11 pm, I didn’t see any parties there at all. But they are definitely there somewhere. But everything is somehow not for parties there, but for recovery. And parties are evil. I did not see a single Chinese on the beach with alcohol. If a person with beer means definitely Russian.
Vietnam - there are parties only in popular resorts, like Nha Trang. Well, in Ho Chi Minh City you can find something. In Mui Ne and Phan Thiet, this area is very poorly developed.
Service Level
Here Thailand has surpassed all. Still, tourism came to this country a long time ago, so there is everything for them here. Hotels of any price category, from guest houses to very cool 5-star hotels and villas. You can go to the islands, everything is developed there too.
In second place is Hainan. There are many expensive hotels, which are obliged to live up to their high status.
In third place is Vietnam. There are also many different hotels here, but a large selection is only in popular resorts like Nha Trang. In principle, China and Vietnam are approximately the same in terms of level.
In last place is Goa. The total mass of hotels is something dead, furnished with grandmother's furniture, shabby, etc. There are good hotels here, but they can be counted on the fingers. Although people go to Goa not to sit in a hotel. And those who "understood Goa" do not pay attention to such trifles. Anyway, if you are a service lover, you can hardly appreciate the local flavor. But I personally like it.
Public transport in Thailand, China, India, Vietnam
The most convenient public transport system is in some resorts in Thailand, like Pattaya. Cheap blue tuk-tuks for 10 baht actually run every 5 minutes, for 150 baht you can get to Bangkok. The roads are very good.
If we consider Phuket, then everything is much more expensive there, public transport goes only to Phuket Town, and taxi drivers want to tear off “three skins” from tourists.
In second place is Vietnam. The second place is only for slip basses and open basses. What a good system, why do not all countries of the world have such transport yet? There are city routes in Nha Trang, you can cheaply travel around all the nearby attractions. And you can get around the city on foot. In big cities like Ho Chi Minh City, there is a lot of transport, but the route system is very confusing.
In third place is Goa. In general, you will not see public transport in the resorts, but from Dabolim there are local buses to the resorts. But the taxi is so cheap that you can safely use it. Prices from 50 rupees. You can safely take a motorbike, there are no trucks here, there is no busy road nearby.
In last place is Hainan. Public transport runs, but you have to wait and wait. Taxis are expensive, everyone wants to charge you more. You can't rent a bike, the traffic is hellish. Pedestrians are not allowed at all, even on the green at the crossing. Although in Thailand, Goa and Vietnam the same thing exists.
Thailand, Vietnam, India, China: food
Separately, it is worth comparing the cuisine of India, China, Vietnam and Thailand.
In India, the food is specific, a lot of spices and peppers. But after a certain time you fall in love with this cuisine and ask for more spicy. I never liked curry in bags from the supermarket, I never ate because I didn’t like it. In India, I tried very different curry dishes and I really liked them. Why do we have curry in our stores - not curry ???
In Thailand, the food is spicy, I also really like it. Thai tom yum soup I can eat endlessly. The traditional som tam salad deserves special attention.
In Vietnam, there are fewer spices and some dishes are generally bland. Therefore, everyone who does not like hot peppers is offered to go to Vietnam. Here you can cheaply try any exotic, like a crocodile. But I personally was not impressed by Vietnamese cuisine. Soup Pho I can't eat at all. The grass is smelly and vile.
Half of the dishes are prepared from instant vermicelli. I never ate this at home, and somehow I didn’t want to here.
In Vietnam and Thailand there are so-called buffets or buffets, where you cook food yourself in unlimited quantities. Very colorful places.
In China, the cuisine is not bad, but I'm not thrilled. A lot of spicy, but there are also sour, sweet in unexpected combinations. In Hainan, almost every cafe, even street cafes, has aquariums with various marine reptiles. There are macaroons and fast food there, but most of all it is aquarium cafes. I really like the tables in China, I have not seen them anywhere else. In the center of the table is a glass circle, on which they put common dishes for the company. And you sit like that, spin the circle, and put different dishes on your plate.
Table for lazy people. :)
When comparing Thailand, Vietnam, China and India, you don't want your personal experience to influence your choice. If you want entertainment, low prices and the sea, but without much service, then welcome to Goa. If you want a more civilized holiday, then Thailand or Vietnam. In general, you will spend more money domestically in Thailand than in Vietnam. Because the prices are a little higher there.
If you want luxury, then you can go to Hainan. But leaving the hotel, you will still see real Asia, crowds of Chinese, you will smell durian and sewage. And take more money with you, you won’t be able to relax there cheaply.
Nice to have a place to stay! Preparing for a vacation allows you to forget about everyday life and immerse yourself in dreams of the sea, the sun, beautiful nature, walks in cities that are still unfamiliar. And in order to choose where it is better to spend your vacation, you need to calmly analyze the nuances of holidays in different countries.
Vietnam or China: where is it better to relax? Both of these countries are quite popular with Russians, although they are not included in the top list of vacation spots. Let's try to make out the subtleties of rest in both places.
Visa rules
Vietnam is possible visa-free entry for tourists from Russia, but only for 14 days. If your holiday in the country lasts up to two weeks, you will not need a visa.
A visa is required to enter China. And in this regard, China, of course, loses to Vietnam. Indeed, in addition to spending extra money, you will have to collect a package of documents, and then go to the consulate or visa center to hand them over, and again to get a passport with a visa stamp.
But there are exceptions to the rules. No visa required to visit:
- Hong Kong
- macau,
- islands of Hainan.
Russians can stay in Hong Kong for 14 days without a visa, in Macau - 30, on Hainan Island - 21. In addition, you must come to the island as part of a tourist group. It is impossible to travel outside the city (island) where you got without a visa.
Time relax
Weather in China for a year In Vietnam, there is a division into seasons: wet, when the rain spoils the rest, and dry, when it is sunny and warm. However, in different regions of the country, these seasons come at different times and you can almost always find a place where the weather will be fine.China is a large country, and the climatic zones there are also different. However, here the rest time still depends not on the rainy season, but on the air temperature. Too hot in summer, too cold in winter. The best seasons to visit China are spring and autumn. But you always need to consider the weather in a particular region.
Holiday cost
Holidays in Vietnam or China are cheaper? From the point of view of everyday expenses (food in cafes, excursions, taxis, souvenirs), prices in both states are low, the standard of living cannot be called high anywhere. The same situation with hotels of the same level: the cost of rooms is about the same.
Makao - a region in China And if you buy a ready-made tour, the difference can be significant. It's about the cost of the flight. The journey to Vietnam is longer and therefore more expensive. Look for special offers from travel agencies or "catch" discounts on air tickets.
Flight duration
From the capital of Russia to the capital of China (Beijing) it takes 7.5 hours to fly, and to the capital of Vietnam (Hanoi) - 9. Moreover, from many other regions of Russia, the flight to China is even shorter, because it borders on our country.
But it is worth considering the final destination. It is possible that it will be faster to get to your hotel in Vietnam than to the outlying islands of China.
nature, sea
Beach in Nha Trang (Vietnam) Which is better: China or Vietnam, if you want to get acquainted with exotic nature? The vast majority of travelers vote for Vietnam! There is a clean sea, many reserves, the Vietnamese are responsible for the protection of their nature. In Vietnam, there are places recognized as world heritage (for example, Halong Bay).
Sea beaches in Vietnam are also considered cleaner. No wonder the Chinese love Vietnamese resorts so much! But in the popular resorts of China (for example, the island of Hainan), they also monitor cleanliness. Tourism is one of the important components of this region.
Excursion program
Hainan Island in China China or Vietnam: what to choose for an educational holiday? There are many interesting places in both countries. Since the Chinese Empire was a significant power in the Middle Ages, there are more historical sights there. They should be focused on in China. But in Vietnam, an interesting excursion program will be in natural parks.
The language barrier
Despite the ties between China and Russia, the Chinese in general do not know the Russian language. Vietnamese too. But the Chinese don't speak English either! In Vietnam, a little better with knowledge of English. However, in hotels there will always be staff who understand English, in both countries.
Vacation with children
Vietnam or China: where is it better to relax with children? Exotic countries, in principle, are not suitable for families with kids. Climate, peculiar food, long flight - all this is not for children. But if you still want to relax in one of these countries, look for an all-inclusive hotel (and there are very few of them). And don't forget about insect repellents, which you won't find in Russia!
So, Vietnam outperforms China in many ways! But the best choice would be this: visit both countries. Each is unique in its own way and will be able to surprise you!
The countries of Southeast Asia are becoming more and more popular with Russian tourists. This is due to the relatively mild climate and numerous attractions. Among the countries of this region, Thailand and Vietnam stand out. They are located close to each other, have similar cultural traditions and the same climate. All this creates difficulties for tourists when choosing a place to stay. Thailand or Vietnam - which country to prefer? This is discussed in this article.
An important factor when choosing a place to visit as part of a tourist trip is the possibility and duration of stay without registration, this period is thirty days. There are only fifteen in Vietnam. Flight time to both countries is up to nine hours.
In Thailand there is more developed than in Vietnam. In terms of the number of attractions, Thailand and Vietnam are not inferior to each other.
As in any country, Vietnam and Thailand have their advantages and disadvantages. Let's consider some of them.
Climate
Climatic conditions in both countries are similar. The best time to visit is from June to September. Thailand or also successfully receives tourists. However, the region is warm all year round. The rainy season will create certain inconveniences for tourists. Both countries are attractive for beach holidays. Average temperatures at the peak of the tourist season reach +32°C. Hot weather in Thailand is more difficult to tolerate due to high humidity.
In Vietnam, during the winter season, the influence of the monsoons is felt. Therefore, the temperature during this period can reach +5°C. According to this indicator, it is difficult to determine where it is better to go, Vietnam or Thailand to choose. Since the countries are located almost at the same latitude and have a similar climate. There are other, more important selection criteria.
Beaches
Thailand is the most suitable place for connoisseurs of a comfortable beach holiday with its unforgettable beaches and numerous resorts equipped with everything you need. The beaches in this country are distinguished by a sandy bottom and the purity of the sea. The only downside is overcrowding with tourists during the peak season. The number of places for swimming in Thailand reaches more than a hundred. The cleanest are those that are on the islands. The beaches in Vietnam are somewhat smaller, however, they are in no way inferior to Thai ones. Sandy coasts in both countries have a gentle entrance. The beaches located on the islands are surrounded by rocks and located in bays. Thanks to this, they are protected from waves and wind and are calm and quiet corners for relaxation.
Vietnamese beaches are characterized by perfectly white sand and clear blue water. They are a great place to relax with children. Local beaches have fewer opportunities for water activities, but water sports enthusiasts can still find some worthy options for themselves.
Where is cheaper? Vietnam or Thailand
An important, and for some, the determining factor in choosing a country for recreation is the cost of staying at the resort. In Thailand and Vietnam, tourists have the opportunity to choose the most suitable holiday options for themselves, based on their financial capabilities. You can use the services of travel agencies and go on vacation on a package tour. It is also possible to make an independent trip. One of the options for staying at the resort can be staying in a rented bungalow. Let's consider various pricing options for Thailand.
The cost of any tourist trip consists of the price of air tickets, the cost of recreation, the purchase of souvenirs and excursion services.
The purchase of air tickets is a mandatory item of expenditure, since it is simply impossible to get to these countries in any other way. It is better to book tickets in advance. Their cost varies according to the class and level of comfort during the flight. The higher it is, the more expensive the airfare. Since the distance and flight time to Vietnam and Thailand are approximately the same, the airfare will be the same.
The second significant item of expenditure is the cost of living. Depending on financial capabilities, accommodation can be both very expensive and relatively budget. For example, staying in a deluxe hotel room or in a separate bungalow will cost significantly more than staying in an economy class hotel.
The cost of food, visiting entertainment in Vietnam is lower compared to Thailand. Sometimes they are much cheaper than in Thailand. Of great importance is the choice of places to eat and rest. Individual excursions to local attractions will cost more than similar group activities. In terms of cost savings, independent travel around the country is promising.
Roads and leisure
For such trips on a rented vehicle, Thailand is best suited. The quality of roads in this country is somewhat better than in Vietnam. Therefore, it is better not to book tours to Thailand in travel agencies. It will be much cheaper to travel around the country on your own. There is also a more developed network of shops, cafes and restaurants and all kinds of entertainment centers. Opportunities to have fun at night in Vietnam for tourists are more limited. After midnight, life stops here. Due to the habit of the population to go to bed early, it is very problematic to find a working grocery store.
Thailand in this regard is more preferable as a leisure destination. does not stop here until the morning. The list of entertainment for tourists is also more extensive. In Thailand, you can not only relax, but also improve your health.
The medicine
Where to go for health, which country to choose - Thailand or Vietnam? Medical care in these two countries has significant differences in terms of prices for treatment. In Thailand, the cost of visiting a doctor in a public or private clinic is up to $40. Similar services in Vietnam will cost a little less. However, it all depends on the severity of the disease or injury. A necessary condition for obtaining high-quality medical services is that the tourist has medical insurance. In Vietnam, there may be some difficulties in obtaining medical care due to the lack of knowledge of English by local doctors. However, despite some inconveniences, the quality of medical care in both countries is approximately the same.
Accommodation
The cost of living and its comfort in hotels in Thailand and Vietnam are about the same. Vietnam, however, has a slight advantage in terms of cheap hotel accommodation. Staying in one of the hotels in the capital of Vietnam - the city of Hanoi - will cost about five dollars cheaper than the cost of rest in a similar establishment in Thai cities popular among tourists. Therefore, travel agencies sometimes offer incomparably cheap tours to Vietnam. This is due to the fact that in this country you can save a lot on housing.
Undersea world
Leisure opportunities are of great importance to travelers. Staying in Vietnam and Thailand is the most promising for diving. Thailand wins somewhat in terms of the diversity of marine life and the number of places recommended for diving. The marine fauna of Vietnamese waters is less diverse, however, here divers can find a lot of interesting things for themselves.
Local population
For tourists, when choosing a vacation spot, the friendliness of the local population towards visitors is of no small importance. If we compare Vietnam / Thailand on this basis, then we can say that the inhabitants of both countries are equally friendly to guests. The hospitality of the locals is based on the profitability of the tourism industry for the economy. Thais are more restrained and do not reveal their feelings and emotions to tourists. The Vietnamese are more emotional. In addition, the common historical past of the countries affects the attitude towards Russians, namely, the assistance provided by the USSR to Vietnam in repelling American aggression is not forgotten.
Transport
In Thailand and Vietnam, transport links between cities are quite developed. You can get to any corner by bus or by plane. The most common vehicle in both countries is a bike available for rent by tourists.
But which country should gastronomic gourmets choose, Vietnam or Thailand? Where is the best food?
Nutrition
National cuisines in both countries are distinguished by their originality and abundance of exotic and incomprehensible dishes for a Russian-speaking tourist. Frogs and various insects are widely used as products. Local national dishes are usually nutritious and spicy. In this regard, the masterpieces of Thai cuisine are more famous. Food in Vietnam is sweet due to the use of a variety of sauces and seasonings. Therefore, for lovers of sweet tastes, the choice is obvious according to this criterion. Thailand or Vietnam? For them, this issue is irrelevant.
living creatures
Traveling to Vietnam or Thailand can be overshadowed by the local fauna. One specific feature of both countries is the abundance of tropical insects (eg lizards). In Vietnam, in addition, they do not particularly care about cleanliness. Thanks to street garbage dumps in cities, a tourist can meet with numerous rats and cockroaches.
