From 16 to 18 June, Krasnaya Presnya Park will host the Turkish Festival on an unprecedented scale for the first time. A large-scale cultural and entertainment program awaits visitors.
The festival will acquaint guests with the great history and national traditions of the country, art, crafts, and of course, with the richest cultural and tourism potential of both the whole of Turkey and its regions: Istanbul, Antalya, Alanya, Aydin, Adana Mersin, Bodrum, Kemer, Belek, Side, Marmaris, Nevsehir (Cappadocia), Manavgat and others.
Guests of the festival will get into the atmosphere of a real oriental fairy tale - the park will recreate three-dimensional scenery symbolizing the most famous sights of Turkey: the Bosphorus Bridge, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Cappadocia, Hadrian Gate and others.
The program of the festival is so intense that even three days will not seem enough. The festival starts on June 16 at noon. And at 18:00, the Official opening of the Festival will take place on the Main Stage, which will be attended by: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Nabi Avci, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Moscow Hüseyin Dirioz, governors and heads of participating regions, guests of honor from the Government of Moscow and other officials.
Next, the guests will enjoy a grandiose Gala Concert, where Turkish and Russian stars will perform. The concert will be hosted by Russian MusicBox VJ Anna Grachevskaya. Russian guest performers include singer MakSim, Mitya Fomin, Dominik Joker, Kravts and Katya Gordon.
For three days, the most colorful artists from Turkey will perform on the Main Stage: the Janissaries Military Orchestra, the Tepecik Turkish Philharmonic Orchestra, the Turkish State Folklore Dance Ensemble, Hamdi Akatay, a famous percussionist and master of playing the darbuk, performing with Tarkan and other world stars. Guests will also enjoy an unusual musical performance by DJ Tsvetkoff feat. Hamdi Akatay and a concert of Russian-Turkish opera music with the participation of the mezzo-soprano of the State Opera and Ballet Theater of Antalya, the famous Serap Çiftçi, and much more.
Special guests of the festival will also be: Sergey Zverev, the group "Time and Glass", Anastasia Karpova (group "Silver"), singer Loya, IVAN, Lena Knyazeva and others.
One of the key events of the Festival is the Mega-Quest, which will allow participants to get to know Turkey better in a playful way and visit the maximum number of festival venues.
