What kind of breakfast is served at BM Beach Hotel? Smartline Bin Majid Beach Resort – Reviews Bin Majid Beach Resort
One and a half kilometers from the Ras Al Khaimah water park is the stunning four-star Bin Majid Beach Hotel.
The first thing that interests travelers who find themselves in this complex is the rooms themselves. It's amazing how easy it is to combine light style with homely, warm comfort. This effect was achieved through the use of a light, muted palette and natural materials for furniture. At the same time, unusual elements in the form of paintings, flowers and carpets were added to the interior. Non-standard shapes and simple execution are the main idea of the rooms in Bin Majid Beach.
Diversity concerns not only the design, but also the placement options. Here you can find standards and deluxes, which will differ in capacity and content. However, in general, the decor has common features that are characteristic of each room. This is a comfortable sleeping place, impressive in its size, a living area with upholstered furniture and a TV with satellite channels. There is also air conditioning, a minibar and a telephone. It's nice to have a private bathroom. It includes cosmetics, bathrobes and slippers, and a hairdryer.
There is an AlRahala restaurant on site. Looking through the menu, you can note a large number of local and continental dishes. Upon additional request, we can also provide items for children and dietary meals. There are also cafes and nightclubs here. The hotel also has a snack bar. It serves refreshing drinks and snacks. It’s great that you can order food directly to your room.
The favorite pastime for most tourists is relaxing on the beach. Here you can swim or sunbathe, thanks to the presence of sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a place for playing volleyball. Fans of active leisure can visit the gym in the complex. It contains several modern devices for cardio and strength training. There is also a spa center offering several beauty programs and massages. This is a great chance to relax after a busy day.
It is not necessary to spend your entire vacation within the walls of a hotel. For active travelers, car rental is available here. There is also a tour desk that can provide information on popular tours and nearby attractions. Some of the best leisure options include windsurfing and diving. It is also worth visiting the water park, which can be easily reached on foot.
Entire families often come to Bin Majid Beach. It is not surprising that leisure time for children is well thought out here. In addition to special meal deals, babysitting services can be arranged for parents. And there’s always animation going on here. This is a great chance to relax and not worry while on vacation.
This place is often chosen for holding official business events. This is due to the presence of a spacious conference room, fully equipped for a variety of events. Seminars, business meetings or celebrations are entirely acceptable. An additional advantage is the availability of fax and copying equipment in the complex.
From here you can walk to the coastline in just 15 minutes. In addition, guests can enjoy a huge outdoor swimming pool, free internet access and free parking spaces. This place is distinguished by high-quality service and numerous services that make it one of the most comfortable in the city. And being able to get to the airport in less than half an hour makes it even better.

A few words about the transfer. We flew with FlyDubai airlines. I would like to note that the flight from Ukraine takes 5 hours and do not count on any substantial food on the plane - everything is meager, paid for and quite expensive. I recommend eating either before departure, or be prepared to “pay” 5-10 AED (1AED = 3.6$) for tea/coffee, 20-25 AED for beer or 50 ml of alcohol and 20 AED for an absolutely tasteless sandwich or roll. We did not know this information in advance and boarded the plane without having lunch. And they were ready to buy something to chew when it turned out that of the entire “variety” of the menu, only egg and cheese sandwiches were available: cold, dry and tasteless. And considering that upon arrival you will have another hour or two of transfer to the hotel, you need to think twice about lunch, if this is important to you. Upon arrival, formal passport control, photograph of the iris (you just need to look into the camera for a couple of seconds) and a meeting with the host. By the way, the transfer to the hotel was very pleasing. There were no delays, no one was waiting. And considering that out of the entire plane only 4 people were heading to this hotel, everyone was transported en masse on one bus (Toyota, with air conditioning), and the four of us personally in two brand new Audis. Upon arrival at the hotel, they held dinner for us (and we arrived after midnight). As for organizing the departure transfer, there are some nuances. The return flight was at 9 am and, accordingly, the check-out time from the hotel was scheduled for 3.45 (UAE charter flights usually have to be at the airport for check-in 3 hours before departure). Firstly, naturally no one wants to have breakfast this early, so we asked the reception desk in advance to pack some “small things” with us, to which we received approving “nods” from the smiling administrator. In the end, it turned out a little differently: 10 minutes before the bus departure time, they opened the kitchen for us, where there was tea, and 5 minutes later they brought some more rolls. Making tea with one foot, chewing a bun with the other, and running out to the exit with the third, I had my last “breakfast to go.” By the way, this is not the first time that the receptionists did not fulfill requests (they had to remind us 3 times to bring an adapter for their plug from the socket). "By the way, they came to evict us not at 3.45 but at 3.30, but what is true is true, they honestly waited outside the door for 10 minutes while we finished washing. Here again, a small misunderstanding arose. The person responsible for checking the room upon check-out, during check-out refrigerator/minibar took out a bottle of gin (40 AED) and began to tell me that it was open and supposedly I drank half of it. I did use the minibar, but I specifically paid for everything I took (alcohol was not on this list) in advance at the reception the evening before departure. As a result, after several cold-blooded “no, I didn’t touch it,” the man walked away with the phrase “oh well, I didn’t see anything at all.” A small thing, but unpleasant. The driver of the arriving bus (who was an hour late) almost forgot 2 tourists, not noticing their names on his sheet. Be careful:) Two other passengers were almost dropped off at the wrong terminal upon arrival at Dubai airport. Actually, these are all objective disadvantages. Now about the hotel itself, excursions and other little tricks.
In general, the hotel is not bad (for those who go on vacation outside of the “high season”, and when prices are 30-40% lower than at the given time, there’s really nothing to complain about). The hotel is located at the exit of the city of Ras Al Khaimah. You can't get anywhere on foot except to the next cafe, club and liquor store. A taxi to the nearest supermarket (al hamra mall) costs 15/10 AED (round trip). A taxi to the largest mall in this emirate, RAK Mall, as well as to the bus stop (RAK bus station) will cost you about 50 AED. Taxi to Dubai - 150 AED, regular bus to Dubai - 20AED (on the way back, you can politely ask the bus driver to stop near the hotel, because the way to the city center ras al khaimah, to the bus station still lies through it (accordingly, you do not need to spend additional 50 AED for the journey from the center to the hotel). Finishing the topic about “how to get to Dubai”, I’ll add that buses run from RAK (Ras al Khaimah bus station) to Dubai and back every hour, from about 7 to 21 ( check with the driver/at the cash desk for the earliest and latest time).Continuing the topic about the hotel. There are two types of rooms - cabana and chalet (standard, superior). The first is a kind of house with a small terrace (mainly occupied by non-Russian-speaking vacationers). The second - ordinary rooms in two-story complexes. There is no horror, as some tourists write about, in the cabana. Inside, in fact, the same as in ordinary rooms. And when you come with a group, it’s generally cool to sit on the terrace. A standard room is different improved only by the absence of an electric kettle and tea and coffee bags replenished free of charge every morning. The rooms are clean and cleaned regularly. The bed was changed 2 times during the 7 days of stay. Every day they brought 2 bottles of water for free. The food is also quite decent - a buffet (sausages, jacket potatoes, spaghetti with mozzarella, yoghurts, fruits, sweets - there was everything). The menu did not change radically for 7 days, but nevertheless, the food was really pleasant and appetizing. We took HB meals (breakfast + dinner) and I strongly recommend not to give up this minimum, because there is essentially nowhere to go eat nearby, and it will be more expensive to go to the city center. On Friday and Saturday (these are weekends for Arabs) at dinner there was a small animation in the form of a karaoke singer with a fairly rich repertoire and a pleasant voice and a dancer in an oriental style. This event was held outdoors near a restaurant near the pool. Finishing the topic “about food”. If you go along the road from the hotel to the highway and walk 100 meters towards the city, at the first left turn there will be the only normal alcohol store in the area. Almost everything is available there and the prices, if higher than duty free, are not much higher. In general, resting while drunk and demonstratively “clanging” bottles, especially outside the hotel area, is very unwelcome by Arabs. In the Dubai Metro, a large fine will be issued for such an incident, but in Sharjah they will simply be taken to the police. So gentlemen, be careful. The national composition of vacationers was approximately this: 50% Russian speakers (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, etc.), the rest were Germans, Poles, Americans and Indians. The crowd is quite calm.
Well, the most important thing is the sea. The hotel has its own beach. And then I got to see both his “white” and “black” sides. There were always enough sun loungers. It’s really cozy on the shore, despite the construction going on nearby. But there is one thing. This area is subject to frequent storms (usually at night) and after high tides very often brings mud and shells to the shore, many of which are quite sharp. The way out of the situation is to swim in flip-flops (it’s a pity that we only found out about this after cutting our heels :). Again, during high tides, you need to go to the normal depth of 30 meters, if not more. Otherwise, no complaints. If you swim in flip-flops, any weather and situation under your feet will be a thrill. By the way, in the last 3 days, the sea was particularly clean, transparent and the depth was 15 meters, no more. By the way, about the sun. It's really hellishly evil here :) You can burn out in a few minutes, you won't even notice it. Therefore, the recommendation: at least from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., it is better not to show up on the beach at all, even in the shade. But this is only advice from a tourist to tourists, it’s up to you :)
Among the excursions, I recommend a safari and a tour of Dubai (we took it from our own, Natalie Tours, they didn’t regret it). The receptionists were not against changing dinner for lunch on these two excursion days (since departure for the excursion was late).
One more nuance: Internet at the hotel is paid (20 AED per hour). There are cafes in Al Hamra Mall where you can supposedly get a free option.
Verdict - the hotel earns its 4* rating with a solid 4+.
Meals for 4.
Location is 5-.
Beach for 4-.
Excursions for 5.
P.S. if not CANCER, then in terms of vacation you can still consider Fujairah and Dubai itself (according to reviews of tourists and guides there). Yes, and more. Muslims are a subtle people and they have a bit of a lack of humor. For thoughtlessly throwing out the phrase “bomb” or something similar, one of the tourists during a bus transfer from the airport to the plane, the plane was delayed for an hour in search of the subject of her dark humor. Some of these jokes end in deportation or worse. Draw conclusions. And enjoy your holiday everyone!
The UAE has long been a popular destination for beach holidays. There is probably not a single tourist who does not dream of spending a vacation in the Emirates. That is why we want to devote our article to reviewing one of the hotels in Ras Al Khaimah - Bin Majid Beach Hotel.
A little about the hotel
Bin Majid Beach Hotel is a four-star complex located at the extreme eastern point of the Arabian Peninsula, 73 kilometers from the international airport in Dubai and 29 kilometers from the city of Ras al-Khaimah. The hotel is located on the coast, or rather on a stunning sandy beach, which is about two kilometers long.
Bin Majid Beach Hotel is a whole complex, which includes everything that can turn your vacation into an amazing holiday. After all, this is exactly how every tourist sees their vacation, especially when they are going to the Emirates, which we associate with something amazing. A modern, stylish hotel can become not only a place for a wonderful vacation, but also a corner for a romantic honeymoon. Vast green areas and a beach with clear sea will turn your vacation into a fairy tale.
The hotel complex was opened to visitors back in 1998, and in 2012 the last reconstruction was carried out. The hotel has a stunning location on the shores of the Persian Gulf and covers a total area of 20,000 square meters.
Rooms
Bin Majid Beach Hotel offers its guests accommodation in one of 136 rooms. The hotel has apartments of the following categories:
- Standard. The apartments have a TV, safe, minibar, air conditioning, work desk, toiletries, iron, hairdryer, bathrobe, coffee or tea set. The area of this room is about 236 square meters.
- Deluxe - apartments with an area of 26 square meters. These rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floors; they have all been recently renovated.
All hotel apartments have stunning views of the Arabian Gulf or the city, and are equipped with king size and queen size beds for the most comfortable stay. Each room can accommodate three adults or two adults and two children.
Meals at the hotel
Bin Majid Beach Hotel 4* offers its guests a variety of food options, choosing the most appropriate option: continental breakfast, board or half board. However, most tourists prefer the beloved All Inclusive, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner in the form of a buffet, served at the local Al Rahala restaurant. Throughout the day, vacationers have the opportunity to refresh themselves in six hotel bars, which offer a wide variety of snacks, cakes, pastries, and desserts.
All Inclusive also allows guests to order soft and alcoholic drinks in unlimited quantities. Several times a week, the restaurant organizes interesting themed evenings for tourists.
Bin Majid Beach Hotel: hotel infrastructure
The hotel complex has a fairly developed infrastructure, which makes guests' stay as comfortable as possible. On the territory of the Bin Majid Beach Hotel 4*, guests can find everything they may need for a good rest. It is worth noting that the complex has its own business center, the services of which can be used by business people, but, however, for a fee. The hotel also offers currency exchange, dry cleaning and laundry services. The service at Bin Majid Beach Hotel is no less efficient. Tourists, for example, can use the services of a spa center, visit a network of bars on the territory of the complex, and rent a car. Taking care of the leisure of its guests, the administration organizes completely free trips to two shopping centers several times a week. The hotel has several shops, and if necessary, you can use the services of a local doctor. The reception of the complex is ready to resolve any issues around the clock, including organizing transfers.
Sports and entertainment
Bin Majid Beach Hotel 4* (UAE, Ras al-Khaimah) is the place where you can not only have a good rest, but also have fun. In general, the hotel is quite possible to combine a quiet vacation with active entertainment. It is worth noting that the hotel has three swimming pools with equipped recreation areas. During the day, interesting animation programs are held on the territory of the complex. Russian-speaking girls talentedly invite vacationers to play darts, volleyball, boccia, and tennis. In the evening, tourists will find a disco and an amazingly cheerful DJ who will not let anyone get bored.
The hotel has a tour desk, whose employees not only offer all kinds of trips, but also tell them what and where tourists can see. And on the coast, traditional sea entertainment awaits all guests.
Beach holiday
The Bin Majid Beach Hotel is located on the first line, or rather, on the coast itself. For a seaside resort, this is perhaps the biggest advantage. After all, there is nothing more beautiful than living next to the sea and admiring its beauty all day long. The complex has its own large beach, equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. The sandy beach with a smooth sandy entry into the sea is convenient not only for adults, but is also perfect for even the youngest guests. Thanks to its stunning location, the hotel is convenient for relaxation not only for married couples, but also for people of the older generation.
A little about the resort
Ras Al Khaimah is the capital of the northernmost emirate in the UAE. It is distinguished by its beauty; in the coastal region, the mountains approach the sea itself, creating stunningly picturesque places. The capital of the emirate is divided by the bay into two parts, which are connected by a bridge. The western part of the city contains many attractions, while the eastern part (newer) consists of new buildings, and the airport is located here.
Ras Al Khaimah is a less popular place than Dubai. The region is unfairly underestimated by tourists, although it has all the prerequisites for visiting by vacationers. Picturesque mountains and a mild climate are not all the advantages of the emirate. It is fraught with an incredible number of surprises. Just look at the pristine untouched beaches.
Local Attractions
In the southeast in Al Hamraniya is the famous tourist area of Haat. It is famous for its mineral healing waters. In the ancient district of Ras Al Khaimah, tourists can see a dilapidated fort, the ancient Jazirat Al Khaimah Mosque made of coral blocks, the Falaya Fort, the National Museum and the ancient watchtowers located on the outskirts of the city. All these interesting places are located within the capital of the emirate, but still the main attractions are located outside the city. Tourists should definitely visit the ancient town of the emirate of Digdaga, the Iron Age tombs in Wadi Qawr, and large reservoirs in palm groves in Wadi Azima.
The National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah is housed in an ancient eighteenth-century fort that was once built of stone and plaster. Here visitors can see exhibits related to the history, ethnography, archeology and nature of the entire Qawassim region. You should definitely pay attention to the ancient mosaics of the eighteenth century and exhibits of excavations of the ancient port of the Emirates.
In the fall of 2010, a water park called Ice Land opened in Ras al-Khaimah, located 80 kilometers from Dubai. It covers an area of about 0.5 square kilometers. The complex has a huge amusement park for adults and children. The most popular attraction of the water park is “Penguin Falls” - this is the largest artificial waterfall in the world, its width is 164 meters and its height is 36.5 meters.
Bin Majid Beach Hotel: reviews
When talking about a stunning hotel in the Emirates, I would like to turn to the reviews of vacationers who have already visited it. Is it really as good as travel agency representatives say it is? Let us immediately note that the complex is very popular among holiday lovers in the UAE. Almost all tourists are incredibly satisfied with their vacation spent at the hotel, and some even return here again. And rave reviews from vacationers are the best advertisement for the hotel. And now about everything in more detail.
The undeniable advantage of the Bin Majid Beach Hotel 4* (AOE) is its location. Not every hotel can boast of being located right on the coast. The complex fully justifies its status as a beach hotel.
The complex's own huge beach is equipped with free sun loungers and umbrellas. There is a bar on the coast where you can try delicious pizza and order any drinks during the day.
The hotel is located on the shore of the bay, separated from the open sea by a sandbank. This makes the water quite calm, there are practically no waves here. But, on the other hand, ebbs and flows are regularly observed. The rise in water level may not be noticed, but the low tide in the afternoon exposes the sandy bottom to a depth of fifty meters. The sea recedes quite far. In general, the shore is flat and comfortable. The beach is incredibly kid-friendly.
The sandy surface on the coast is not entirely clean; there is debris in it, but the hotel workers diligently clean up the beach every day.

In general, it’s not bad, since our travels are just beginning, and there’s not much to compare. The area is green, the pool is cool. The beach in general - you come out and you are already on the shore of the Persian Gulf! The food is a little monotonous, but everything is tasty, fresh, the baked goods in general – yum-yum! All the guys - the service staff - are very sociable. Getting to the huge shopping center is not a problem, a taxi is always nearby, and it’s not expensive! And you can also take a walk around the area. There are a lot of vacationers with children, even the smallest ones. And this probably says a lot too, since they come here with children! In short, everything is great. Excursions were taken at the hotel from its operator. It was great. Thanks to all.

It turns out you can ask him for everything and buy it, well, oh well, we’ll keep it in mind for the future!))), they met us at the airport, then there were no problems with leaving, they brought us to the hotel (by the way, it didn’t take long, I mean about the arrivals in hotels), quickly checked into the room and the HOLIDAY HAS STARTED IN FULL!!! We vacationed with my husband from January 16 to January 23 this year. After reading a bunch of reviews I decided - come what may. There were many concerns. But all the worries were in vain. We were checked in quickly. The location of the room was by far the best. On the first floor. Our room was spacious with a terrace overlooking the pool and beach. Also, many wrote about the weather, that it’s cold in January, don’t go swimming. Rave! It turned out that this is the season. The beach is large, clear water, sand. Beauty! The staff is friendly and smiling. Always ready to help. I really want to mention the hotel guide Muganda! Cool! Speaks Russian well. He doesn’t push anything, but on the contrary, advises. There was music by the pool and in the beach bar until the evening. There are several nightclubs on site, but everything starts there after 12 at night. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed our vacation! And the hotel! So enjoy your holiday and enjoy the wonderful United Arab Emirates.

Good day. We stayed at the hotel from November 25 to December 2, 2015 with a large group. We are completely satisfied with the hotel. There were seven of us. They put us in two rooms - one near the pool, the other in a bungalow near the sea. We were delighted! The rooms are great. Everything we needed worked, nothing was broken. They cleaned it regularly every day when it was convenient for us. The food was very good. There was so much variety of food, just like in Turkey. We even consider the quality of food here to be much higher. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Quality drinks and alcohol. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. The sea is cool. But it was necessary to adapt to the tides and bays. The hotel is remote from civilization, but this is only a plus for us. We weren't bored here. We had a blast as best we could. We had a very good rest. Thank you to the staff for your attitude and care! We will definitely visit you again.

Dear friends and colleagues!
BIG5 is a mandatory surcharge (increased rate) applied by the hotel during exhibitions in Dubai. However, this does not provide any benefits for guests, no entrance fees.
The system reflects mandatory surcharges that appear on the guest voucher, even if they do not provide any benefits, they are simply an additional charge for the room rate on certain special dates.
Best regards, Pegas Touristik.
Dear friends and colleagues!
Dear friends and colleagues!
