Amusement parks in the Czech Republic for children. Theme parks in the Czech Republic. Attractions in Prague
And amazing historical monuments. However, during a trip, you often want more wild fun than what standard ones can offer. Amusement parks in the Czech Republic are ideal for this.
What amusement parks are there in the Czech Republic?
Among such establishments, the following stand out for their popularity:
- AquaPalace water park- the largest in Central and Western Europe. Located near the village of Čestlice. The water park consists of three main zones - the Palace of Waves, the Palace of Adventures and the Palace of Relaxation (the names hint at what kind of slides and attractions the zones are filled with). In addition, the water park has a sauna, fitness center and spa center, as well as a 4* hotel.
- iQPARK– entertaining- science Center not far from . It is aimed primarily at children and teenagers, but adults will undoubtedly also find it interesting. The park contains a wide variety of scientific exhibits and attractions, you can take part in games that develop logic and intelligence, and there is also an amusement park, bowling and billiards nearby.
- - an amusement park that opens in Prague every spring. This is the dream of many children and their parents. On a fairly large territory there is a huge number of attractions for every taste, age and color. Interestingly, every year in this amusement park in the Czech Republic the range of entertainment changes, so every time you visit Matejska pout you will see something new.
- – an extreme amusement park on the territory. Here you can skydive, canoe down the river, ride a scooter along a special 5 km long trail, climb ropes... Offpark is an ideal place for lovers and connoisseurs of extreme sports.
- - one of the most famous complexes of this kind in all of Europe. It originates from the royal menagerie in the Troy Basin and has rich history. This zoo cannot be called very large - its area is 60 hectares, but it has created unique conditions for each of the animal species living here. There are about 600 of them in the zoo, more than 400 of which are listed in the Red Book. Each species has its own mini-world, replicating the conditions of its natural habitat. So rare animals not only live here, but also breed. For tourists, there are restaurants and cafes in the park, and there are children's playgrounds.
- – opened just a couple of years ago near the old town of Kozel and Camelmen Alcazar. Here you can either climb special climbing walls or go along the rope route. Instructors are always ready to help inexperienced visitors.
- – located nearby and covers an area of 35 hectares. This area contains many moving life-size dinosaur figures. There is also a 4D cinema where visitors can see underwater life millions of years ago.
- – is located in the second largest Czech Republic. Equipped with the most modern equipment. Here you can not only look through a telescope (for this, however, you need to come to certain time), but also to see what outer space and the surfaces of the planets of the solar system look like.
- is a miners' park in Ostrava, where the life of miners is presented in detail. There is a large exhibition of various equipment used in mining. Visitors will be able to go down into a real mine.
- – a natural amusement park in the Czech Republic near the Orlicka Dam. On its territory, medieval life is recreated, there are many different interesting quests, and you can get acquainted with some old types of crafts. There is also an interesting path, which is covered with natural materials: pine needles, sand, cones, pebbles, etc. You are invited to walk along it barefoot to experience how our ancestors often traveled in the past.
Hello, dear friends! Today, as promised, we will continue our virtual event. The theme of our excursion this time will be visiting places that will be of interest to children and, I hope, their parents. These are museums, of which there are a lot in this city, theaters for children, a zoo, and many other exciting things await us on this journey.
I think there is no need to convince anyone that Prague is one continuous attraction. Each palace or castle is unique and beautiful in its own way. So, the Prague water park is adding to the collection of palace architecture. No, no, not at all because it is located in one of the palace complexes of past centuries. It just has this name – AquaPalace or “water palace”. So that's where we're going.
The water park in Prague is considered the largest family water park in Europe.
And there is so much more to be found here: you can spend the whole day in its numerous palace premises (Adventure Palace, Wave Palace, Relaxation Palace) without noticing it.
What can you do at the water park?
“So why ask? And so it’s clear,” you say. Well, actually, yes. Perhaps this time I will agree with you.
Children, of course, first of all, swim and have fun. The water park has so many water attractions, slides and pools - a real water kingdom of Neptune. There is Pirates' ship, where you can fight merciless pirates or raft down the Wild River with the breeze.
There is also a lot of fun and completely safe entertainment for kids on a variety of slides and splash pools.
For tired mothers - relaxation and rest, massage, fitness and SPA in the “World of Saunas” (14 saunas for a wide variety of tastes). Well, active dads can take a steam bath or dive and explore water world in the diving tunnel (for deep-sea diving).
How to get to the Prague water park?
Getting there is not difficult, although the water park is located in Čestlica (a suburb of Prague - 5 km from the city). But buses go there regularly (every hour). Except regular buses There's even one free one.
Prague Zoo
Prague has a magnificent zoo. The large area has excellent conditions for animals. Feeling natural wildlife, no cells. Well-groomed and clean animals feel at ease in spacious enclosures. Everything here is organized with imagination and thought out to the smallest detail. Therefore, it is comfortable here for both animals and visitors.
The zoo is recommended for visiting with children. This is an opportunity to introduce children to the world of animals: here you can observe their habits, children are allowed to feed some of them and ride a pony. There are a lot of places to relax and play in the park, good cafes and restaurants, and delicious ice cream.
The zoo is open daily and all year round. It is better to go for the whole day. And you won’t have time to go around and see everything.
Not far from the zoo there is another interesting place.
Botanical Garden
A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday in nature: beautiful flowering plants, green garden sculptures, floral sundial, many playgrounds.
When planning an excursion, you can combine a visit to the zoo, botanical garden And palace ensemble. The ticket in this case will be cheaper.
Sea World Aquarium
Children usually enjoy visiting the aquarium. The exposition of this marine world includes more than 300 species of marine animals and fish, and there are interesting thematic exhibitions. But in general, the aquarium is not very large and you won’t spend a lot of time inspecting it.
Children's Island
Believe it or not, there is a real Children’s Island on the Vltava in Prague. The entire territory of the island is one playground. In summer it is a lot of fun: there are many playgrounds, water attractions, fountain, sports grounds.
And, in addition, from the island you can admire the Vltava and the pleasure boats sailing past. Or you can go on a boat trip on a boat, boat, motor ship or river bus.
Luna Park
There is a Luna Park in Prague. Yes, yes, the same one that the children of our country visited with delight many years ago during his visit to us.
We didn't have such luxury in those days. And today the best European attractions are collected in Prague Luna Park. So, if you have time, you can visit it and at the same time remember your childhood.
Dinosaur Park
A very exciting and educational pastime.
Children enjoy traveling millions of years ago and getting acquainted with the figures of prehistoric animals.
Film studio Barrandov
The oldest film studio in the world, was founded in the first half of the last century. Many films that later became famous were filmed here. And a large collection of props, scenery and costumes was formed. And you can see this with your own eyes by visiting a film studio. The bright and colorful world of cinema always attracts children.
Petrin Hill and its attractions
Located right in the center of Prague.
And there is something to see here, in addition to walking through the beautiful gardens and admiring the wonderful views of the city. You can climb to the top of the hill on foot, but children will probably find it more interesting to do it by cable car.
Don't be surprised to see Paris's Eiffel Tower here. Well, of course, not quite the real one, but an exact copy, reduced by 5 times.
Mirror Maze
And if you want to laugh and have fun, be sure to go to the Mirror Maze.
This is an old attraction, in addition, there is also a room with distorting mirrors.
Toy Museum
Prague has a huge number of museums that are worth visiting with children. But, unfortunately, it is not possible to tell about everyone. But if you find yourself in this city, be sure to visit the Toy Museum, which contains toys from different times. There is simply an amazing collection of dolls here, which makes not only children but adults admire, immersing them in the memories of their childhood.
Puppet Museum
This museum is located in the building of the National Puppet Theater. Here you can not only watch performances that are loved all over the world, but also see in the museum how a unique Czech puppet doll (these are large and small toys that are controlled with strings) “comes to life” in the hands of talented puppeteers.
The collection includes antique wooden dolls dating back to the 17th century.
Prague Black Theater
Only in Prague can you see this unusual and delightful show.
Performers against a black background create a fantastic and magical atmosphere on stage with the help of dance, pantomime, acrobatics and lighting effects.
It's worth seeing.
Children's Theater Minor
Another place where everyone is interested. The fun, colorful musical performances are easy to understand even if you don't know any English or Czech.
National Technical Museum
The best technical museum in Europe, a huge number of exhibits. Here you can learn everything about cars, bicycles, motorcycles, trains, planes and helicopters, astronomy, photography and printing, architecture.
In addition to the museums already listed, in Prague there is also the Museum of Ancient Weapons, the Prague Planetarium, the Museum of Alchemists and Magicians, the Kingdom railways, Museum of Urban Transport, Lego Museum, Prague Wax Museum, Museum of Legends and Ghosts. So you definitely won’t be bored.
Well, for dessert...
Chocolate Museum
It’s not for nothing that Prague has acquired the status of a “sweet” city. There are a lot of different cafes here, where you can sit after long walks around the city and try delicious Czech sweets.
The “Sweet” Museum is located in the center of Prague. An entertaining story about the emergence of cocoa and the transformation of its fruits into a delicious drink and chocolate will be accompanied by eating this very chocolate throughout the excursion.
Many adults remember how impatiently they waited for the arrival of the Czech amusement park during their Soviet childhood. It was a meeting with a miracle - wonderful attractions, winning interesting prizes, and much more that was not in our country at that time, brought with it by the amusement park from Czechoslovakia. Luna Park in Prague can still be visited by everyone today.

Prague Luna Park is part of the Výstaviště complex, located on the territory of a former royal reserve. It is a venue for various fairs, exhibitions, sports competitions and theatrical performances. Children adore the singing fountain - the streams of water shimmer with rainbow colors to the rhythm of playing music, classical and modern, and ballerinas dance with their partners. This spectacle is amazing.

Sex sells, and this is certainly true when it comes to the city of Prague. The city is famous for its sex clubs and they have something for every taste.
Most sex clubs are clean and well organized. If you visit one, the rules are explained by the manager or bouncer and safe sex is always practiced. There is usually an entry fee of 500 CZK just to sit in the bar and watch the show, however, the price immediately increases if you use other services. In many places, there are employees who stand outside trying to encourage you to come into the establishment.
In addition, you must be careful that the driver must take you to the establishment you want, and not the one with which he has an agreement and receives a commission.
Indeed, for many people, practically legal sex clubs, brothels, and massage parlors are the main reason for visiting the Czech capital. Therefore, the city over the years has earned itself a reputation for being the night capital of Europe, this is a fact.
You will be able to visit many of the "gentlemen's clubs" or "relax" in the city with impunity, at least from local law enforcement. This doesn't mean there aren't any dangers, and there are a few golden rules that should be followed.
Never approach working girls on the street and do not respond to anyone who might approach you. It is also not uncommon (especially late at night on Wenceslas Square) to be approached by men who will try to offer you girls, and/or try to force themselves into clubs. It seems like they know everything. Ignore them.
Several clubs are listed here. While it's impossible to be 100 percent sure of anything, all of these clubs have been around for a very long time and have a reputation for being legitimate businesses that offer all sorts of goodies within the confines of the law.
Follow these simple rules and you will have a great time in Prague.
Finally, wherever you go, use your common sense and be aware of how and what you spend your money on. Make sure you know the price of everything (check websites, contact management) - including (especially) drinks - before taking part in any adult activities, and try to only pay in cash.
