Party in Italian style. Italy is a country of wonders. project (6th grade) on the topic. Additional entertainment for an Italian party
It is said that the poor are cunning in their invention. On the one hand, the expression is not very pleasant - who wants to be called “poor”? You can also consider this phrase from the other side - this statement addressed to you may well turn out to be a compliment, glad to emphasize your extraordinary abilities, ingenuity and courage. However, we all know that circumstances sometimes develop in such a way that it is simply not possible to spend a lot of money on a holiday, you have to invent and come up with something.
Goal: to spend a festive evening at low cost and combine the traditional features of a celebration (dinner with family or friends, a warm homely atmosphere, good music, communication) and creative elements (decorations, table, entertainment), selected in a unique style.
So, we immediately refuse a chic costume party and a guest host - it is expensive and does not fit into the economical budget.
Next, we decide on the theme under which the holiday will be organized. It is these aspects that determine how successful the celebration, the decor of the room, the composition of the guests, dishes and games will be. A great idea to spend an evening in the style of the country of “Italy”.
Concept: Oh, beautiful Italy! An extraordinary, cheerful country, overflowing with sunshine and the subtle aroma of fine wines, good music of cheerful folk festivals and the silent charm of small villages. Italians are real gourmets not only in food, but also in entertainment and communication, so their parties can bring together either one small (sometimes a huge family) or the entire street mixed with tourists. Italians are friendly and welcoming. And this mood of joy and good nature needs to be created at a holiday in Italian style.
First, take and make a list of all associations related to Italy. It could be the blue sea, art, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Cosa Nostra, Leonardo da Vinci, fine wines, Sicily or the Colosseum - everyone has their own feelings and thoughts. Your task is that you must reflect each item on your list in some element of decor. In this case, all guests will understand the mood and will be “in the know.”
Guests: the company can be small or large, with guests of different ages. The selection of musical accompaniment and entertainment, the ratio of active and calm competitions, as well as the level of frankness of the games depend on age.
Menu: the choice is simply great! A very economical option is lasagna (only, I beg you! Try to cook it at least once). Pizza is also wonderful and very tasty, especially homemade! By the way, if you don’t like fiddling with dough, buy ready-made dough, but not a pizza dough, but ordinary ice cream dough, for example, puff pastry. For the filling, the composition will suit almost any taste: chicken, sausage, fried mushrooms, cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise. You can put canned corn, and fresh tomatoes, and bell peppers, and ham - in general, whoever likes what. There are a great many recipes, it all depends on your imagination.
All kinds of salads will fit perfectly on the “Italian” table - both light, vegetable, and quite rich and high-calorie. Try to use aromatic spices, herbs, and several types of cheese.
Italian desserts are not just sweets, but a whole culinary science! Tiramisu, cheesecake, creme brulee, Panna Cota, sponge cake, cappuccino... Even an ordinary chocolate cake can be presented as Italian if you soak it in Amaretto liqueur and decorate it with powdered sugar in three colors - red, white and green.
Italian alcohol is, of course, wine.
Decor: If the apartment or house is far from the Mediterranean style of the interior, then take the colors of the Italian flag as a basis for the decor. Curtains, chair covers, tablecloths, decorations on the Christmas tree, garlands, chandelier pendants - all these elements can be bought, or you can make them yourself, even together with your child, simultaneously telling him about the New Year holiday itself and about the country of Italy. Venetian masks, wine barrels, and paintings with picturesque Tuscan landscapes, and even old furniture, on which you can use a stencil to apply an image of a bunch of grapes or the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, will also come in handy.
Music: for background – classical or modern instrumental (for example, Claudio Guidetti). Everyone's favorite Adriano Celentano and soundtracks from the films where he starred would be perfect. Popular today is Zero Assoluto.
Entertainment: Family time is highly valued in Italy, and the main activity at such evenings is dancing and socializing. To prevent guests from getting bored, you can offer entertainment and competitions, the winners of which will be given grape leaves cut out of paper (Italian flags, pizzas, etc.).
1) Not active, but very exciting game “Mafia”.
2) Quiz on knowledge of Italian art.
3) Verbal translation competition: you say a word in Italian, and guests try to guess what it means. The competition is interesting and fun, since many Italian words are similar in pronunciation to Russian or Ukrainian ones. By the way, you can not only guess the word, but also show it.
4) Game “Crushing grapes”. Remember how Celentano did this beautifully in the movies? You need to put several balls filled with water, flour, jam, salt, just air, etc. in a basin. Hide the key to the room where the New Year's gifts are in one of the balls - and the one who collected the fewest grape leaves during the evening (or whatever you handed out there) will have to look for the key in this basin.

Italy is sun and sea, it is smiles and family meals, it is wine, cheese and olives. Such Italy, joyful and relaxed, settled in our apartment for one evening.
I’m sharing my design work and opening an Italian playlist. I show you what the appetizer table had and give you a full tour of the menu.
Italian party decoration
Whether you are 60 years old or 3 years old, balloons create an instant holiday mood. I ordered for the holiday 18 helium balloons in three colors: white, green and red (colors of the Italian flag). They “floated” freely on my ceiling. The main character of the evening is the table with food. Before you fill it up delicious food, let's apply a light touch of Italy.
Small flags for decorating snacks. Making these flags will take a little time and patience. Print out a template for flags on a color printer, cut out the required number of blanks, fold in half and secure with a toothpick using double-sided tape.
It’s good to think in advance about how guests will sit at the festive table. Help here name cards. You can, like me, play with the names of the guests and write them in Italian style.
So, my guest Yulia Lipina turned into Giulietta LIPPI for one evening, and the birthday boy - Sergei Maslov - was called Sergio Masleroni.
Cards with original names will immediately arouse the interest of guests, help them relax, and find common topics for jokes and conversations.
Italian music
Music works wonders! A good musical selection will instantly transport your guests to sunny Italy and set a great mood for the evening.Especially for the party, I compiled a list of songs by Italian performers, as well as tracks that are somehow associated with Italy.
The music program included such performers as Adriano Celentano, the band Ricchi E Poveri, as well as music from the popular films “Roman Holiday”, “The Godfather”, “Letters to Juliet”, “The Taming of the Shrew”, “La Dolce Vita” ).
My playlist is available on the Yandex.Music service at this link
Yandex. Music. allows you to create a playlist from the desired songs and then play them either one by one or in random order. Important: Internet access is required to listen.
It’s good to turn on the music before the guests arrive, so that you can feel the atmosphere yourself.
Menu for an Italian party
Italian cuisine is considered quite simple, but at the same time balanced, bright and interesting. And most importantly, everyone loves her: both adults and children. All the dishes presented below either have Italian roots or are in one way or another associated with Italian cuisine. Follow the links to find detailed recipes with step-by-step photos. Please note that the recipes are adapted to Russian reality. Choose the ones you like and combine the menu for your Italian party.
Snacks
Bruschetta. These are traditional Italian sandwiches with a variety of fillings. I prepared three different types.- Bruschetta with cream cheese and baked sweet peppers
- Bruschetta with cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and basil
- Bruschetta with eggplant and champignons
- Bruschtettes with red fish and avocado
Serve with honey, apricot jam, nuts, pear and figs. Important! The cheese should be at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator 1 hour before guests arrive.
Fish plate. Italy is all about fish and seafood. Therefore, it is logical to serve a “pickled” fish plate. It is good to dilute the traditional cut of red fish with other tasty fish. I recommend butterfish, hot smoked terpus, smoked mackerel with spices.
Olives and black olives. No comments.
Meat plate. It's good to move away from traditional smoked sausages and carbonates. If Italian Prosciutto isn't your thing, look for turkey carpaccio and sliced salami.
Salads
Caesar salad. The most famous and popular salad. Take the time to prepare homemade dressing and use classic ingredients (no Chinese cabbage, boiled chicken and “kirieshki” instead of croutons).Caprese salad. A great light salad that can also be prepared in 5 minutes. During the winter months, use cherry tomatoes (they are sweet and tasty all year round). I also highly recommend making your own homemade pesto - it's amazing.
Panzanella Salad. Classic Tuscan salad with aromatic tomatoes, sweet roasted peppers and dressing with anchovies and capers.
Second courses. Hot
Pizza. Thin crust pizza stuffed with selected ingredients is worthy of being on the holiday table. She wouldn’t dare call fast food an offensive word. Pizza is also fun - invite your guests to make pizza together.Prepare the pizza dough in advance and have plenty of different ingredients for the toppings. I had: champignons, pineapples, pepperoni sausage, ham, carb, bacon, cheese (mozzarella, feta, parmesan), pepper, chili, tomato sauce (Dolmio), pesto sauce (left over from Caprese salad), tomatoes, basil, olives , garlic, red onion, arugula, spinach.
Each ingredient was decorated with a nameplate.
Download the sign template
Depending on the number of guests, divide them into teams and give them a task - to prepare a pizza that the birthday person will like. The winner is announced accordingly by the hero of the occasion, and the Pizza Master is awarded a prize.
Do you want to organize an unforgettable children's party for your child? Then Italian style is exactly what you need! Here you will find not only catchy music, children's favorite food, but also incredible entertainment!
General idea of the holiday
Let's start with the fact that the Italian holiday for children will be organized around the idea of creating signature pizza :). Children love to play with flour in the kitchen, so why not give them unique opportunity do whatever they want!
Invitations to such a holiday should completely identify the general idea. That's why make them in the colors of Italy, draw a chef's hat and, of course, pizza there!
The table should be decorated with sayings and images of pizza and the chef. Use traditional Italian colors - red, green and white.
Paper chef's hats will also be an excellent decoration.
If you are planning an outdoor party, a great idea would be to decorate wooden tables and create a candy bar in a “country” style.
Don’t forget to decorate your room or garden with flags, paper and balloons in the Italian style.
Snacks
The tables can be set with a wide variety of food: sandwiches on baguettes, muffins, ice cream, pasta with vegetables or fish, sausages in dough, etc. The main thing is to show your imagination and decorate your dishes accordingly!
If you want traditional Italian dishes on the table, take a look at our ““ section.
Italians are mustachioed men :). Why not make all the kids too... mustachioed Italians :) (you can download mustache templates and other photo props).
By the way, pizza can be not only vegetable or meat, but also fruit!
For dessert you can serve lemonade and ice cream :).
By the way, if the ice cream is individually packaged, this will save you from unnecessary hassle.
Entertainment
At the entrance, each child must receive a cap and a children's apron. If the party is dedicated to a birthday, only the birthday person can wear a hat. But get ready for the fact that all the kids will want the constant attribute of the chef!
Also boys (and girls if they wish) can get a real MUSTACHE :).
If the children at the party are old enough, then you can hold a master class on making pizza. Prepare the ingredients in advance (but be sure to put flour and eggs on the table for ambiance), the filling, cut and placed on separate plates.
The main task of the children will be to spread the cake with paste and mayonnaise, and also to add the necessary filling.
While the pizza is cooking, you can start decorating the pizza boxes. This could be drawing, sculpting or creating appliqués.
For younger children, we offer pizza creation on... paper! Why not assemble the finished dish using drawn vegetables, or even draw them yourself!
You can also buy children's toy sets.
You can find original and fun music for a children's party in Italian style

Italian-style party for home or restaurant: decoration, menu and entertainment
Venice, Florence, Palermo, Milan and Rome... Summer, sea, juicy fruits, aromatic delicious wines, spicy home cooking... A dream! And even if an Italian party does not compare with a trip to this wonderful, hospitable country, friends will still certainly enjoy a little experiment with immersion in the cozy warm atmosphere of a sunny paradise!
Scenery
In Italy, home gatherings and small family restaurants are very popular. Therefore, the party can be held both at home and in a stylized rented room if there are many guests. One of the advantages of the theme is its simple, not too expensive design.
The color scheme is green and white plus a little red. These are the colors of the Italian flag, and it is quite possible to use them in equal proportions, but the decor will be overwhelmingly aggressive if you overdo it with a red tint. And Italy is a measured vacation, languid bliss, so it is better to focus on green and white, and let red be a few bright accents - napkins, pillows, wine in transparent glasses, flower buds, checkered tablecloths. Three-color paper garlands in the shape of triangles or rectangles (mini flags) are suitable for decorating the ceiling and walls. You can cover part of the walls and ceiling with balloons of these colors.
To make the theme party formal and clear, hang on the walls several photographs of views of Italy - mountain slopes, cozy wild beaches, endless vineyards, pastoral houses. If you don’t want to get too immersed in the village theme, use photographs of stars, historical figures, landmarks, and cities. It is advisable that paintings and photos be in lightweight wooden frames.
Plant elements (and there should be a lot of them) - grape bunches, vines and leaves, olive branches, bouquets of wildflowers mixed with ears of cereals. You can make interesting “bouquets” of pasta and herbs, compositions of vegetables in wicker baskets. Or place orange trees in tubs or clay pots around the hall.
Invitations in the shape of an Italian boot or the Leaning Tower of Pisa will leave no doubt about the theme of the script. A three-color flag postcard or pizza circle is no less informative. Start the invitation with the address “signora or signorina, donna or don, signor”, change the names (Eugene - Giovanni).
The furniture is wooden, good quality, but simple in a homely way. Place comfortable pillows on the chairs, throw on the floor several rugs woven from multi-colored fabric ribbons. Place a low table and rattan lounge chairs or chairs somewhere to the side. Textiles on furniture and windows are made only from natural fabrics - cotton, chintz, linen.
Within Italy, such design ideas as “Roman Holiday”, “Mafia”, “Venice Carnival”, “Fashion Show”, but still these are separate topics.
Suits
There are several options here. An Italian-style costume party is more suitable for narrow themes - Rome, mafia, carnival, etc. But you can make suits (or buy them) in three colors: white top, red or green bottom and a red or green scarf tied with a loose knot around the neck (green skirt or trousers - red scarf, and vice versa). Instead of a scarf, you can buy hats - Panama hats, summer hats or caps.
If you used a lot of rustic paraphernalia in the decoration of the hall (a la a family restaurant), the clothes should be simple, comfortable and light. Summer linen suits, colorful sundresses or dresses, shorts and skirts made of cotton, cotton.
If your Italian hall is a tricolor, photos of attractions and celebrities, then you can play with evening options. For example, girls in cocktail dresses and guys in classic suits. After all, Italy is a trendsetter, and you can show off in a stylish evening dress both at an anniversary and at a graduation celebration.
Menu
Large communal table, many dishes of beef, lamb, poultry and, of course, fish and seafood. Olives and olive oil, garlic, basil and other spices. Bread and grain buns with spices in wicker baskets. An indispensable cheese slice! Pasta with tomato sauce, lasagna, risotto and other Italian dishes. Everything is simple at home (both in terms of the cooking method and in terms of the availability of ingredients), but incredibly tasty!
The menu, traditional for an Italian restaurant, can be presented in the form of a buffet if there is no desire to have a feast. This is not entirely within the scope of the topic, but it is quite possible to play with this option. For example, use the same tricolor flag to decorate dishes (multi-colored baskets, skewers, tartlets), white-red and white-green checkered napkins, plates and cups.
Don’t forget to stock up on Italian wine and divinely delicious desserts - sabaion, tiramisu, savoiardi, panna cotta, etc. The recipes are incredibly simple, preparation will take a few hours, and the surprise and gastronomic joy of your sweet-toothed friends will know no bounds!
Pizza - meat, cheese, fish, vegetable, sweet fruit, open and closed and... There are so many recipes and types of pizza that you can generally limit yourself to pizza and only pizza! Especially if this is a meeting of close friends for a pleasant, but insignificant occasion, which does not oblige significant investments.
Entertainment
Colorful decoration, traditional dishes and costumes, an interesting script and all other efforts will be complemented by Italian music. A successful musical selection is half of your success as an organizer, without exaggeration! Celentano, Cutugno, Albano, Pavarotti, Ramazzotti, Bocelli - their voices and compositions are heard by everyone, regardless of the age and tastes of your friends. If possible, install karaoke equipment - guests will appreciate it, especially after a couple of glasses of Chianti.
Associations
Table games and competitions will finally convince your friends that the window offers a view of Italy! Invite guests to take turns naming any associations in the theme or guessing which of the images is related to Italy. For example: photos of Ferrari, Renault and Honda, Arc de Triomphe, Pisa and Eiffel Towers, Marcello Mastroianni, Johnny Depp and Khabensky. The preparation is simplest - print out photos of stars, football players, landscapes, monuments and anything from the Internet in three versions (Italy and two other countries), glue them to a landscape sheet.
Best taster
Three tours for everyone. You can divide guests into teams and award points for each correctly named ingredient. The first round is the simplest - we taste pizza. The second is pasta sauce. The third is wine.
Pasta tycoon
Again, two teams or every man for himself. According to the scenario, it is necessary to arrange the supply of pasta from Italy to any other country. At the start, place a model of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, at the finish - a model of the landmark of the country to which the delivery is being made. There are obstacles along the way (mountains, rivers, famous monuments architecture). Obstacles can be easily made from cardboard and a photo glued on top.
The task is to pave a path with pasta from start to finish. Of course, faster than your rivals! And avoiding obstacles. If the room is large, use spaghetti; if it is small, use small multi-colored pasta.
Football, football!
The kids will probably like this competition more. But sometimes girls don’t mind kicking the ball. Of course, we won’t go out into the field. All you have to do is bring a mini-football table into the hall and arrange a competition.
Or you can put a couple of goal-cups on a free table and compete by kicking a grape (or olive) ball with your middle and index fingers. Fun and 100% on topic, because Italian footballers are some of the best football players on the world stage!
Don't forget to prepare memorable gifts for your friends. This could be a photo album decorated in the style of Italy, wine or dessert sets, recipe books for Italian cuisine, a disc with songs by Italian performers or a film about Italy.

Italian Party: Scenario
“Italy is a land of dreams with golden fruits,” wrote the Frenchman Emile Zola. The German poet Goethe said that “whoever has seen Italy, and especially Rome, will never be unhappy.” Italy can charm anyone! This is a country of sun, sea, delicious food and love. Its color will make the holiday unforgettable. The Italian theme will be relevant both for a New Year's corporate event and for a narrow party in honor of the anniversary. This is an opportunity to eat a hearty meal, drink excellent Italian wine, feel nostalgic while listening to old Italian music, and leave this event in your memory for a long time.
If this topic is close and interesting to you and you want to organize a holiday in Italian style, our script may be useful to you. The program is built in the form of a virtual trip to Italy. Guests are invited to visit iconic places and have a lot of fun at the same time. The structure of the script allows you to easily rework it, removing some components and introducing others. With slight adjustments, the script can be used to prepare a teenage party.
Party in Italian style: decor
The room can be decorated in the colors of the Italian flag: green, white and red. Multi-colored ribbons and balls will make the venue not only “thematic”, but also bright. The colors of the Italian tricolor can also be repeated in table textiles (for example, a tablecloth of one color and napkins of two others).
A playful festive atmosphere will be created by garlands of triangular tricolor flags. Mini Italian flags placed in vases will decorate the table.
The best decoration for a feast would be... food. For many, Italy evokes pleasant gastronomic associations. So, you can put transparent vases with a variety of pasta on the tables, including colored ones. Tomatoes, pizza, oranges and olives will delight you with taste and create the right ambience.
You can hang enlarged images of Italian boots on the walls in different colors and sizes. Posters with views of Venice or reproductions of paintings by Leonardo da Vinci would also be appropriate.
Italian style party scenario: virtual journey
1. Obtaining a visa
The host asks the guests if they want to go to Italy and spend a holiday there, traveling to the most interesting places in this wonderful country. The guests, of course, agree.
To go on a virtual tour, you must obtain a visa. It will be issued only to those who pass the Italian knowledge test. The presenter suggests starting testing immediately.
The visa test is conducted in the form of a quiz. It would be better if it was a picture quiz - this format is simpler and more interesting. If it is possible to prepare sheets with picture assignments printed from the Internet, you should give preference to this. If this is not possible, an oral quiz is held.
Quiz test in pictures. The sheet (preferably large format) depicts three objects. Only one of them is related to Italy. The pictures are numbered. It is worth using at least 8 task sheets.
Guests can be divided into 2 teams. The leader shows the team a sheet and asks them to name the number of the picture with the correct answer. There is only one chance to answer correctly. For a correct answer - 1 point. If the team remembers the name of the person depicted or the name of the object, they are awarded an extra point.
Examples of tasks
1. Which one of them is Italian? The sheet shows Monica Bellucci, Penelope Cruz and Sophie Marceau. Correct answer: Monica Bellucci.
2. Which of these architectural monuments located in Italy? The sheet shows Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, Leaning Tower of Pisa and Acropolis of Athens. Correct answer: Leaning Tower of Pisa.
3. Which one is an Italian fashion designer? The sheet shows Calvin Klein, Domenico Dolce, Christian Lacroix. Correct answer: Dolce Domenico.
4. Which of these cars is the fruit of the Italian automobile industry? The sheet shows Ferrari, sports BMW, Nissan. The emblems are worn out. Correct answer: Ferrari.
5. Which of these emblems is the coat of arms of Italy? The sheet shows coats of arms of Italy and two other European states. The inscriptions, if any, have been erased.
6. Which of them are of Italian origin? The sheet shows footballer Francesco Totti, Pope Benedict XVI, actress Claudia Cardinale. Correct answer: Totti.
7. Which symbol is the emblem of the Italian football club? The sheet shows crests of the clubs Barcelona, Milan and Real Madrid. Correct answer: "Milan".
8. Which shot is from an Italian film? The sheet depicts stills from three films, only one of which is Italian. For example, "The Godfather", "Life is Beautiful", Oscar (1991). Correct answer: "Life is Beautiful".
When preparing assignments, you can use images of various monuments and local landscapes. Musicians, paintings and even words can all be included in a picture quiz.
The quiz is the first stage of a test of knowledge of Italy. Second phase - language test. The presenter reads Italian proverbs to the teams (first in the original language, then in translation) and offers to quickly choose a Russian (or familiar to us) analogue. The more analogues the participants remember, the more points they will receive (for each analogue - 1 point).
- "Chi ha la lingua va in Sardegna". He who has a tongue will reach Sardinia (the tongue will reach Kyiv).
- "Prendere due piccioni con una fava". Get two pigeons from one bean (kill two birds with one stone).
- "La gallina vecchia fa buon brood". An old chicken makes a good broth (an old horse does not spoil the furrow).
- "Meglio essere il primo in provincia che il secondo a Roma". It's better to be first in the province than second in Rome (it's better to be big fish in a pond than shallow in the ocean).
- “Cacio è sano; se vien di scarsa mano". Cheese is good if you take a little (everything is good in moderation).
- "Lupo non mangia lupo". Wolves don't eat wolves (a raven won't peck out a crow's eye).
- “È meglio un uovo oggi di una gallina domani”. Better an egg today than a chicken tomorrow (better a bird in the hand than a pie in the sky).
- "Chi dorme non piglia pesci". He who slept did not catch a fish (he who gets up early, God gives him; you can’t even pull a fish out of the pond without difficulty).
At the end of the test, the total number of points is calculated. The team members who give the most correct answers at the end of two stages can be awarded small prizes with the symbols of Italy.
The presenter reports that everyone passed the test without exception. Visas have been received, which means it’s time to prepare for a virtual trip to Italy. Naturally, the presenter will be the guide and translator. Italian music comes on.
2. Arrival in Italy
So, here it is - Italy. A sound signal is heard from the speakers, after which “Italian” speech is heard (the presenter’s assistant is with a microphone “behind the scenes”). If this is difficult to organize, the “Italian” may appear in the hall in person.
After each line “in Italian” the presenter gives a Russian translation.
- Rousseau is a tourist, he looks drunk!
— Dear guests from Russia!— Russo dengiano Italy expected!
— Welcome to sunny Italy!- Promised to be full and drunk.
- Is waiting for you an amusing trip.— Macarono obgiranto and puzanto rastanto.
— You will taste exquisite Italian dishes.- Milano magazino ay-ly-lyu.
— Visit architectural monuments.- Machos ballos popinaglia, millions of raking. Kanaglia!
— You will get acquainted with our football - the pride of the Italian people!— Sicilito gangsterito, everything sits in politics.
— You will visit the Sicilian paradise.— Sambuca, martini, Cinzano, limoncello, Campari, amaretto.
- You will definitely like it here!
"Italian" leaves.
3. Wine cellar
After an Italian greeting, the host suggests starting the journey from the wine cellar. At this point, Italian wines and appetizers can be brought to the table. The first toasts are made in accordance with the occasion for which the guests have gathered.
After a few minutes, you can offer guests some entertainment: try to remember at least 10 synonyms for the word “drink” (for example, roll, drink, wet your throat, etc.). If there are a lot of men in the company, ten synonyms are usually not enough.
4. Beach
To visit Italy and not go to the beach - is this possible? The host invites guests to the sea. At this stage, you can hold competitions for running in fins and making beach loungers.
For the first competition you will need two pairs of fins. Participants do races in twos. The winners from each pair compete with each other. As a result, the main winner is determined - “the best underwater runner”.
To make the sun loungers you will need staplers and newspapers. At the command of the leader, the participants begin to fasten newspapers into a single sheet to make a long lounger. Time - exactly a minute. Whoever has the longest deck chair at the end of time wins.
5. Carnival in Venice
The presenter says: “Right now a carnival is taking place in Venice. We simply must visit it!” The guests, of course, don't mind. The host gives them simple carnival masks and invites them to perform a slow dance.
After dancing and photo sessions, you can play with masks. A volunteer is called. The presenter puts a funny mask on his face, depicting, for example, an alarm clock, a frog princess, a spider-man, a pig, a rooster, etc. You can also take a Guy Fawkes mask or a scream mask.
Under no circumstances should the participant see which mask they are wearing. His task is to guess who she is portraying. He may ask questions that require only “yes” or “no” answers. The presenter counts the number of questions asked. When the mask is solved, another participant is invited. There are so many funny masks available - so many participants can try their hand at it. The winner is the one who guesses his mask with the fewest questions. He can be rewarded with... a mask.
6. Italian restaurant with the best pasta
It's time to refresh yourself. The host invites guests to the restaurant. First you need to make sure that your guests know how to eat spaghetti properly. A game test is being conducted to test the ability to wind spaghetti.
You will need two, three or four huge forks (decorative or made especially for the competition from thick cardboard). There are as many skeins of thin long rope as there are forks. The end of the rope is tied to the fork. The rope stretches across the floor. The participant, having received the “fork with pasta,” begins, at the leader’s command, to wind the rope around the fork, rotating it in his hands. Whoever winds up his pasta the fastest wins. The winner can be awarded a prize - a pack of Italian spaghetti.
After this, hot food can be served to the table - Italian pasta with sauce.
7. Football stadium
After the meal, the host invites the guests to visit the Italian football stadium. Men can try on football players' equipment. A couple of participants are invited.
To conduct the competition, 2-3 sets of ammunition are required. The set may include, for example, large-sized shorts, football socks, a knee pad, and a wristband. The kits must be almost identical in content. Each one is in a separate package. Participants receive packages and, when the presenter whistles, try to put on their contents as quickly as possible. Whoever is first is the winner. It's funny to watch how men cope with leg warmers without taking off their trousers and socks.
8. Sicily
The host offers to sunbathe, calling everyone to the dance floor. Held dance game "Tan".
This game can be classified as “for adults” if there are daredevils in the company. Guests stand in a circle and dance to rhythmic music. It's like sunbathing under the sun. Next, the leader voices the actions, and the dancers perform them. If a participant refuses to perform an action, he leaves the circle. In the end, only the bravest and most uninhibited remain. For example: when the presenter says “expose your elbows to the sun,” you need to raise your sleeves above your elbows. The presenter's commands should not follow quickly one after another: let the guests have time to dance and have fun.
Note: If the presenter says to bare your knees, women do not have to take off their tights. It is enough to lift the skirt a little.
Presenter's commands:
— We offer our palms to the sun!
— Let’s expose the sun’s neck!
- Let's give our elbows to the sun!
- Let's give the sun a little knees!
- We offer our shoulders to the sun!
- We expose our hips to the sun!
- Let's turn the sun's heels!
- Let's expose our tummies to the sun!
- We expose our back to the sun!
Those who survive until the end can be awarded prizes: for example, Italian tanning cosmetics.
After the game, the host reports that one of the guests (for example, the hero of the occasion at an anniversary or the boss at a corporate party) was kidnapped by Sicilian mafiosi (it turns out they still exist!). Gangsters are ready to return a person dear to everyone, if one of the guests wins at cards from a representative of the mafia.
It's no secret that gangsters are cheaters. This means that the guests will also have to cheat. Several people are invited. The presenter puts a hat on one of them - he portrays a sharpie from the mafia clan. Each person is given a deck of cards. You need to hide the cards on yourself as quickly as possible, but under no circumstances put the entire deck in one place. It is necessary to put the cards in different pockets, in socks, in the bosom, under cuffs, etc.
The one who does it first is not the winner at all. The winner will be the one who can find the right card faster than others - for example, the queen of spades. Participants will have to take out all the cards again in search of the only one. The first one to hand the required card to the presenter wins. If the cheater wins, the guests will have to collect a small ransom to get the kidnapped person back. If the guest wins, the victim is returned without ransom.
9. Pizzeria
It's time to try some pizza. But first, guests can take part in its preparation. This moment takes place in the form of a group competition in which couples (not necessarily m+f) participate. You will need circles made of very thick cardboard or plastic. You can take flat disposable plates of large diameter. These will be fake dough circles.
The presenter says: “When chefs prepare pizza, they roll out the dough into thin layers and skillfully toss them, and then just as skillfully catch them. Now you can do it too.”
Players stand in two lines facing each other at a distance of about a meter. Each participant from one line is given a “test” circle. On command, they throw the “dough” to their partners standing exactly opposite. The partners catch the “dough” and then take a step back. The distance increases accordingly. Now this line throws the “dough” to its partners. Those, having caught him, take a step back.
If someone misses the “dough”, the pair is eliminated. Each time the distance becomes greater, and the pairs become less and less. The game is played until the last couple, who can be awarded prizes - packs of Italian flour.
After the game, guests can be served real flavorful pizza.
The host announces that it is time to return to their homeland, but the Italian party does not end there.
10. What and who did you see in Italy?
A pantomime game is being played. The participant draws out a card on which is written a word denoting a person, place, object, etc. Through pantomime, you need to depict this so that the guests quickly understand what is being said. Cards may contain the following inscriptions:
- Monica Bellucci
- Leaning Tower of Pisa
- Silvio Berlusconi
- Adriano Celentano
- Sophia Loren
- Pope
- Coliseum
Additional entertainment for an Italian party
Guess the song
The presenter reads out lines of Russian songs, arranged in the Italian style. Guests must guess the song.
- Oh, the olive tree is ripening near the Bay of Naples (oh, the viburnum is blooming in the field by the stream)
- Oh Mama Mia, what a sir! (oh my god, what a man!)
- And I am sailing, moving around Venice (and I am walking, walking around Moscow)
- We baked a pizza - this diameter, this fluffy! (we baked a loaf this high, this wide)
- Signorina Giuseppina from the suburbs of Rome (Praskovya’s girl from the Moscow region)
- The gondola will set sail, the pier will remain (the carriage will move, the platform will remain)
- If we had a Cinzano river, I would become a beautiful carp (if there was a sea of beer, I would become a beautiful dolphin)
- Gondola, wait! Oar, don't knock! Gondolier, let's slow down! (wait, locomotive, don’t knock the wheels. Conductor, apply the brakes)
- Peppino, Peppino, let's go dig cipollino (Antoshka, Antoshka, let's go dig potatoes)
Impromptu sketch “Pizza”
This is a remake of the fairy tale “Turnip”, which has long become the basis for various impromptu scenes. The pizza option is perfect for an Italian party.
Heroes and lines:
- Pizza instead of Turnip:“I will avenge the blood of the killed tomatoes!” (in a revolutionary tone).
- Grandfather Carlito:"Damn it!" (plaintively, unhappy tone).
- Signora Giretta:“Yes, I have pasta on the stove!” (grumpily).
- Signorina Kaprizina:“I want shopping in Milan” (capriciously).
- Macho:"Yes, I'm macho!" (proudly)
- Chef:“Tsk-tsk-tsk, diletanto” (arrogantly, with an accent, clicking)
Actors are selected and lines are given to them. The presenter reads the text in accordance with which the heroes act. Whenever his name is mentioned, the hero pronounces a remark each time, accompanying it with a characteristic gesture. The text might be something like this:
Grandfather Carlito put Pizza in the oven. The pizza was baked very big. Grandfather Carlito began to pull Pizza out of the oven, but it got stuck. He pulls and pulls, he pulls and pulls, but he can’t pull it out.
Grandfather Carlito called his wife Signora Giretta. Signora Giretta hugged Grandfather Carlito tightly. No, I didn’t hug you from the front, but from behind! Grandfather Carlito grabbed the pizza. They pull and pull, but they can’t pull it out.
Signora Giretta called her granddaughter Signorina Kaprizina. She reluctantly entered and stood up like an idol. He stands there, picking his nose. Signora Giretta grabbed Grandfather Carlito, Grandfather Carlito grabbed Pizza. They pull and pull, but they can’t pull it out. But Signorina Caprisina doesn’t care at all - she doesn’t eat pizza because she’s watching her figure. Look at the figure of our Signorina Caprisina! Bravissimo!
I felt sorry for my grandparents and called Signorina Kaprizina Macho. The macho man gently hugged Signora Giretta, approaching her from behind. Signora Giretta grabbed Grandfather Carlito, Grandfather Carlito grabbed Pizza. They pulled and pulled... They didn’t pull, but Signora Girette liked it.
Called Macho Chef. The chef grabbed Macho, Macho grabbed Signora Giretta, Signora Giretta grabbed Grandfather Carlito, Grandfather Carlito grabbed Pizza. Signorina Kaprizina also decided to participate and grabbed the Chef’s pockets. They pull and pull, but they can’t pull it out.
The Chef walked up to the oven, smelled the Pizza, shook it slightly and stroked it gently. He took the tongs and carefully pulled it out.
They arranged a feast for the whole village, and nine months later, little Macho was born to Signorina Kaprizina. And what does the Chef have to do with it?

Party in Italian style
If Italy for you is not only the birthplace of the Sicilian mafia, but also a sunny, warm and hospitable country, then today’s article is for you!
With the help of an inexhaustible fountain of ideas from the creators of R&P, your Italian-style party will be the brightest, most impressive and hottest!
When you start inviting guests, remember that an Italian house party always starts with the invitation cards! You can develop a very simple design, thereby clearly setting the boundaries of the dress code or the format of the holiday as a whole.
By the way, the best clothes to choose are white or pastel trousers, light blouses and sundresses and, as an invariable attribute of Italy, hats!
When developing a party idea, it is worth remembering the main colors of this country - green, white and red. That is why use such shades, flags of this country, children's flags and paper balls in your decor.
A great idea would be to decorate the room with various Italian landmarks - photos of the Leaning Tower of Pisa or various lush Italian landscapes will create an authentic atmosphere.
You can also hang regular cards around the house :).
For your party venue, choose an open lawn overlooking the water. A garden plot, a cliff above a river or a beach is perfect.
When decorating tables, don’t forget to use a themed color scheme.
We also remember about olive branches - a tree that traditionally grows in Italian regions.
By the way, it is on the basis of the traditions of sunny Italy that you should develop a menu for your reception. There should be products that will be familiar to every Italian and create a unique atmosphere!
Having decorated the tables with flags, decorate them with bottles of olive oil, potatoes, vegetables and brightly colored fruits.
For snacks, give preference to:
- mini sandwiches with ham, rice, olive and almonds;
- sandwiches with tomatoes;
- seafood lasagna;
- skewers with basil, mozzarella cheese and cherry tomatoes.
For main courses, choose from a variety of pastas, as well as their signature Italian pizza!
You can find more Italian recipes here.
For dessert, you can prepare a cake or make cookies using a homemade recipe.
It's worth taking care of the drinks too. If an Italian house party is being organized in the summer, you need to think about refreshing drinks, such as lemonade.
But true connoisseurs of noble drinks will appreciate Italian wines!
If your Italian-style party is dedicated to an important event, you can prepare small gifts for guests :). Branded butter, pasta and, of course, garlic!
The main entertainment of the evening can be a pizza making master class.
As well as collective preparation of dishes from different types of Italian pasta.
Don't forget that it is advisable to decorate all dishes :).
Take care of the music too! Albums by R.POWER, CELENTANO, RICCHI&POVERI, Toto Cutugno, Eros Ramazzotti will create a unique atmosphere, and you can also find more recent compositions here.
By the way, for entertainment you can give preference to football and bicycle racing - national sports in Italy, as well as DANCE! If you are planning such a party with couples, prepare several romantic competitions, because Italy is a country of passionate love.
As a gift for guests, we offer you these magnets that will leave a memory of a fun and unforgettable evening!
Tips on how to throw a real Italian party for children can be found here.

Party in Italian style | Invitations, costumes, competitions, photos, menus, script
What association do people have when they hear the word "Italy"? Sunny country, warm transparent sea, snowy mountains, bright temperament in the character of people, spaghetti, pizza, wine, olive oil, dancing, songs, huge vineyards, very different cities, football, art, romance, Romeo and Juliet, Venice, Rome, Medici, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Antiquity, Renaissance, Renaissance, fountains, statues, paintings, Sicily, gangsters and so on, so on, so on. So why not use these highlights of Italy to create a themed evening.
How to prepare for a party
To create just such an evening, you need to carefully prepare and not leave everything until the last minute. We need to think about such important moments such as: room decoration, table decoration, dishes (both main and sweets), dress code, jewelry, accessories and hairstyles, entertainment, games and, of course, as is customary in Italy, small gifts. All this will lead to the correct course of events in the evening, giving comfort and an Italian atmosphere.
There are several options for hosting an Italian-style party. It is worth remembering the main styles and events of Italy. In Italy there is where to go for a walk. Choose one city or a whole trip: gondolas in Venice, a walk in Verona along the streets of the city of Romeo and Juliet, eternal Rome, gangster Sicily, Florence with the luxury of the Medici.
Great and eternal Rome... This city is one integral landmark of the country. The city was once considered the center of Christianity and the whole world. Moreover, the decline of antiquity began here, and it was in Rome that the Renaissance began. The echoes of all these changes remained in the buildings: the Coliseum, the Capitol, the Pantheon, the Forum, chapels, cathedrals, basilicas, museums and simply residential buildings on the city streets.
Venice is a separate island, but rather it resembles a separate country, brought to us from the Middle Ages. Carnival, songs, dances, palaces, cathedrals, bell towers, bridges, gondolas, masks... An eternal holiday! It’s as if the island is frozen in one time space.
The eternal city of love and romance is Verona. There you can visit the real home of Romeo and Juliet's families, see her balcony and rub the heroine's article for good luck. There is also Marble Street - it is difficult to move along it, especially in winter. Shops, markets - shopping also takes time. Of course, the stone bridge, amphitheater, arches, cathedrals, and fortresses have been preserved.
If you want to plunge into the atmosphere of the Medici times, then Florence is the best place. This is not the only thing the city is famous for: Maria Magdalena, Dante Alighieri, Michelangelo, Machiavelli. This city gave the world the Renaissance. You can see basilicas, galleries, art academies, chapels and more.
Not only major cities Italy is famous. You can go into the outback and be surprised by the small towns. The spirit of Italy really reigns there - holiday, freedom, relaxation. The city of Padua is well known. You can easily get lost there, and then come out to beautiful statues and alleys near the fountain.
Italy is famous wines, pasta, pizza. You should definitely try everything and take the wine home with you. Masks, glass and wooden items, and textiles are also suitable as souvenirs.
Italy is beautiful from any angle. A person of any taste will find a place for himself in it.
How to decorate a room?
So, let's start with decorating the interior and exterior. Use colors Italian flag– red, white and green. For example, hang small flags. A garland of miniature triangular flags looks good and fun. And the image of the flag can be laid out from various pebbles, caresses, pictures on a table or wall. Decorate the walls of the room not only with flags, but also with pictures of the most famous Italian landmarks - buildings and statues, fountains, squares, and so on.
Search the Internet and print out paintings by world-famous artists born in Italy. It would be nice to hang photographs of Italian landscapes. Small soccer balls laid out will look great, because we associate Italy with good soccer players. Natural ones fit well into the interior decorations. You can place pots of sprouted herbs. Place bouquets of wildflowers everywhere.
It would be nice to arrange bottles of wine and olive oil, hang grapevines, and arrange fruit. Such natural decor will bring comfort, freshness and harmony, because it is with home comfort that we associate Italy and its homes.
Menu
The second step is the menu and table decoration. It’s worth considering both the main courses and a sweet addition to the table, and, of course, purchasing good Italian wines. May be suitable as main dishes paste(after all, Italian cuisine is famous for pasta), Caesar salad, lasagna. Pizza- a well-known Italian dish. Delight your guests by preparing it yourself or ordering pizza with different toppings to suit your guests’ tastes. There should be focaccio on the table - fragrant bread with cheese.
And, of course, do not forget about tomatoes, olives and cheese! The sweet table should be covered with a mountain of tasty and juicy fruits, and it should be crowned with panna cotta. Find several recipes for Italian dishes and their variations. In any case, Italian cuisine is considered one of the most delicious, satisfying and refined. To decorate the table, you can use the same flags or flag-colored napkins, as well as decorated transparent bottles with olive oil.
Suits
The next step is to prepare a dress code. You can use a gangster theme. For men, felt caps, black suits (can be checked or thin line), shirts, ties and definitely cigars are suitable. For women, cocktail dresses, black evening short dresses, fur, fishnet tights, a cigarette holder, a small pouch or “kiss” handbag and abundant jewelry. And there is another option. It is possible to use a carnival theme. Who wouldn't want to feel like a mysterious stranger? Accordingly, you will have to choose lush and bright outfits. And a mandatory accessory will be a face mask.
Invitations
It is worth preparing invitations for the evening in advance. They can be made in the form of small flags. Or use images Venetian masks. You can also use colored paper and cut it out pizza triangles. And already write an invitation to them.
Small gifts for guests are also accepted in Italy. A symbolic gift will be small figures made of Venetian (Murano) glass. If you can’t find them, you can give miniature souvenir bottles of wine or olive oil.
How to entertain guests at an Italian party?
In the evening, you won’t just have to sit without entertainment. Can be picked up music Italian singers and dances. The competition for the best tango will add fun, passion and romance. And also think about Italian compositions for karaoke in advance.
It would also be nice to organize a “Guess the Melody” competition with a specialization in Italian songs.
You can watch Italian during breaks movie or films where Italian cities are involved (“The Godfather”, “The Honest Courtesan”, “Eat, Pray, Love” and others).
A fashion show as entertainment is also suitable, since Italy is also known as a trendsetter.
Guests will love showing off their looks. A game "Crocodile"(guessing a word by explanation using gestures) should be adapted for the evening and use only those words that are associated with Italy.
The game couldn't be better "Mafia".
You can arrange quizzes. Print out three images of attractions on the pictures, one of them must be from Italy, and guests must guess.
Arrange contest on knowledge of Italian celebrities and the peculiarities of the country. Make yourself a list of famous actors, singers, football players, artists, car brands, football teams. They should all be from different countries, but let the guests guess which of them is from a sunny country. Make language lessons fun. In addition to studying words, use Italian proverbs and sayings, and guests should remember Russian analogues.
It would be a great idea tasting competition wine and cheese with your eyes closed.
Everyone would like to visit Italy, but if the vacation is still far away, and the soul asks for a holiday, why not triple a real Italian holiday for yourself, your family, friends and colleagues - to give joy, fun, pleasant moments, bright emotions and happiness. Such a pleasant evening will forever remain in your memory and bring a lot of pleasure.

script, menu, design and competitions
Before filling it with delicious food, let's give it a light touch of Italy.
Small flags for decorating snacks. Making these flags will take a little time and patience. Print out a template for flags on a color printer, cut out the required number of blanks, fold in half and secure with a toothpick using double-sided tape.
Download template for mini flags
It’s good to think in advance about how guests will sit at the festive table. Help here name cards. You can, like me, play with the names of the guests and write them in Italian style.
So, my guest Yulia Lipina turned into Giulietta LIPPI for one evening, and the birthday boy - Sergei Maslov - was called Sergio Masleroni.
Cards with original names will immediately arouse the interest of guests, help them relax, and find common topics for jokes and conversations.

Italian music
Music works wonders! A good musical selection will instantly transport your guests to sunny Italy and set a great mood for the evening.
Especially for the party, I compiled a list of songs by Italian performers, as well as tracks that are somehow associated with Italy.
The music program included such performers as Adriano Celentano, the group Ricchi E Poveri, as well as music from the popular films “Roman Holiday”, “The Godfather”, “Letters to Juliet”, “The Taming of the Shrew”, “La Dolce Vita” ).
I prepared three different types.
- Bruschetta with cream cheese and baked sweet peppers
- Bruschetta with cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and basil
- Bruschetta with eggplant and champignons
- Bruschtettes with red fish and avocado
Cheese plate. The recipe is simple: choose the cheese that you like, cut it into pieces per clove, and arrange it beautifully on a flat plate or wooden board.
Take the time to prepare homemade dressing and use classic ingredients (no Chinese cabbage, boiled chicken and “kirieshki” instead of croutons).
Caprese salad.
Pizza is also fun - invite your guests to make pizza together.
Prepare the pizza dough in advance and have plenty of different ingredients for the toppings.
Dessert
Italian dessert Zuppa Inglese(English soup). Its presentation is a little similar to the much-hyped Tiramisu: it is just as tender and juicy. Made from biscuits, custard and raspberry liqueur.
Contest
No no no. No vulgar competitions with oranges and ditty jokes. I'm all for pseudo-intellectual entertainment.
In order to exercise their brains, I invited my guests to take a test on their knowledge of Italy. Everything is like an adult: the questions are presented in the form of pictures and displayed on a large TV screen.
The essence of the quiz is simple. The painting depicts three products, phenomena or events. Guests need to indicate which one is superfluous, that is, does not apply to Italy.
For example, guessing what invention is not the merit of Italian minds:
I came up with 10 questions in total. For the correct answer, the guest was given a flag. The guest who collected the most flags received a prize. The finished pictures and quiz questions are packed into a rar file and are ready for downloading. Use it.

Party in Italian style - menu, script, disco
Who doesn't love Italian cuisine, energetic Italo disco or original Italian films? It’s not for nothing that Italians claim that they live in the most beautiful country in the world. An Italian-style party is a great idea for a friendly meeting. Allow yourself to be transported to the Apennine Peninsula at least for one evening!
Menu
Almost everyone loves pizza, and a homemade version of this dish can be not only very tasty, but even healthy. You just need to prepare the necessary ingredients before your guests arrive. Each invitee will be able to independently assemble a pizza to their taste, and after 15 minutes of baking, eat it. This way, the party host will not have to spend the whole evening in the kitchen, and guests (even vegetarians) will remain full and satisfied.
Italian cuisine is distinguished by an abundance of vegetables and a variety of delicious cheeses.
More experienced cooks may be advised to prepare bruschetta as an appetizer, saltimbocca schnitzels as a main course, and tiramisu or panna cotta for dessert.
Bruschetta - croutons with ham, tomatoes and herbs
Bruschetta is croutons with tomatoes, basil and balsamic vinegar, and saltimbocca is veal cutlets with sage and prosciutto. As for delicious delicacies, tiramisu is a multi-layer dessert made from savoiardi cookies and mascarpone cheese, and panna cotta is a sweet, airy jelly made from cream.
To ensure your guests don’t go hungry, stock up on minestrone soup or ingredients for quick pasta preparation (for example, for “all’ algio, olio e peperonchino” you will need garlic, olive oil, chili pepper and Parmesan cheese).
Dessert panna cotta
Party scenario
To create the appropriate atmosphere, take care of accessories: small Italian flags and garlands.
Prepare tiny Italian-style appetizers: grissini (pizza dough sticks), cheeses and crostini (mini canapés). Invite your friends into the living room, pour them some good Italian wine (like Chianti) and put on an interesting Italian movie. Let them enjoy watching while you work your magic in the kitchen with Italian dishes.
Among the most famous works of Italian cinema are the following masterpieces: “New Cinema Paradiso” (directed by Giuseppe Tornatore), “Stealing Beauty” (directed by Bernardo Bertolucci and the incomparable Liv Tyler in the title role) and “Life is Beautiful” (directed by Roberto Benigni).
Italian disco
Since Italian cinema is not the lightest, cheer up those present with Italo disco tunes. La Bionda, Mauro Malavasi and the Peter Jacques Band will excite even the shyest guests.
“Dolce Vita” by Ryan Paris and “I like Chopin” by Gazebo are a must-play. Don’t forget about the king of this genre – Savage with his most popular hit “Don’t cry tonight”.
The disco beat and electronic sounds will relax guests (especially if you consider that they will have already drunk several glasses of Chianti). Slight fatigue from dancing and alcohol will awaken your appetite, so after midnight, serve another hot dish on the table. Minestrone or pasta will come in handy! Well, towards the end of the party, offer everyone aromatic Italian coffee.
