How are Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan different from the Baltic states? How Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are different from the Baltic states Operating instructions omron m3 expert

The fact that the wheel of history turns backwards is not just a paradoxical, cracking phrase. It happens that it really spins, and not always with a negative effect. Quite long periods are still fresh in memory when former republics The USSR tried to erase “everything Soviet,” and for some reason the most harmful in this context was the Russian language. The struggle for the establishment of the national idea and independence began with the struggle against it: fortunately, some new “independent states” managed to avoid such a misfortune, or it “didn’t live” long. But still, many republics began to close secondary schools with training in Russian. Or here and there and somehow in the middle educational institutions with education in the state language, they left the so-called “Russian sector”, which has little prospects from the point of view of entering a university where they teach in the language of the titular nation.
But this very “wheel” started spinning back - not everywhere, of course, but where it became a realized urgent need. And also where learning the Russian language is not identified with the loss of sovereignty. But what is most interesting is that the attitude towards Russian in some of these countries did not remain calmly neutral - they began to study the “foreign language” intensively.
A kind of “renaissance” of Russian is now observed in some countries Central Asia. For example, in Uzbekistan the number of “sectors” with training in Russian is growing, and branches of Russian universities are opening. Russian schools are even being built in Tajikistan, textbooks from the national language are being translated into Russian, teachers are being invited from the Russian Federation. This practice is widespread not only in the capital, but also in the outback.
It is worth noting here that for the states of the region, including Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, despite the “valiant” periods with the assertion of independence and the promotion of ideas of nationalism by certain political groups, the Russian language still remained the language of the intelligentsia, interethnic communication, a measure of education, access to artistic and scientific , technical and other literature. However, this can only be stated at the level major cities— the periphery always trailed behind. But the current surge of interest in learning Russian is most likely associated with a large flow of labor migrants to Russia, where without state language“neither, no way,” including legalization: the Russian Federation requires “migrants by law” to have at least basic knowledge. Actually, this is in their own interests, facilitating, first of all, adaptation conditions and the chances of getting a more prestigious job than just breaking ice on the streets. This means earning more money.
According to statistics, Tajik and Uzbek migrants send home an average of $2.5 and $4 billion a year, respectively. By the way, Uzbek guest workers, among the Central Asian states, are traditionally the leaders in money transfers from Russia home. Tajikistan is in second place, followed by Kyrgyzstan. But Kazakhstan, if we talk about transfers from the Russian Federation to the CIS countries, ranks seventh, Turkmenistan - tenth.
The fact that remittances from Kazakhs to their homeland are relatively modest speaks in favor of better conditions there is enough labor in this republic high level employment. As for Turkmenistan, it is the most closed country in Central Asia, and its authorities are doing everything possible to ensure that its citizens do not travel abroad. Hence the relatively low level of labor migration and emigration - and, accordingly, the money sent. In addition, Turkmens prefer to send cash to their homeland through friends, so as not to have trouble with the authorities.
The surge of interest in the Russian language can be considered “fueled” by Russia in the context of the liberalization of its migration legislation. In particular, the incentive to study Russian was also provided by the fact that migrants who arrived in the Russian Federation with children and issued Russian passports for the whole family received the right to use maternity capital and other social benefits. And the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation initiated the provision of indefinite residence permits to foreign citizens - instead of the five-year “threshold” that is currently in force.
What about Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan? The first, we recall, began the process of transitioning writing from the Cyrillic alphabet to the Latin alphabet and at the official level declared the language triad “a pass into Big world" The emphasis is on Kazakh, Russian and English languages. It is planned to teach some disciplines in Kazakh, some in Russian, and another part in English. At the same time, more teaching hours will be allocated to study the language of the titular nation than now. According to the calculations of the initiators of trilingualism, by 2020 20% of the republic’s population will be able to speak English fluently. As for Russian, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said that it should be taught, since “our big neighbor speaks it.”
It must be said that Kazakhs traditionally speak Russian well, but this applies more to older people living in cities. By the way, it is difficult for them to switch to the Latin alphabet, and even more difficult to translate the entire huge layer of documentation, cultural and scientific heritage into the new alphabet. In general, Russian is still in use in Kazakhstan, but it is gradually being pushed out as “not prestigious,” although serious companies, when hiring a specialist, require him to know Russian.
Meanwhile, before Kazakhstan gained independence, there were 40% of ethnic Russians in the republic; now there are half that number left. So the Russian-speaking environment is greatly narrowing, and national-patriotic forces play a big role in this. Now they are being restrained by President Nazarbayev. But people are afraid: “What will happen after him?” So they leave, taking with them the Russian speech: so that it “does not dominate,” as nationalist circles fear.
But in Kyrgyzstan there is no such problem now, nor is there any “hysterical” study of Russian, which has official status in the republic. President Sooronbai Jeenbekov, elected last year, emphasizes that this status will remain. But they had to fight for him: five years ago, parliament tried to exclude the “great and mighty” from office work, but in vain.
Although after the collapse of the USSR, the number of schools with Russian as the language of instruction decreased tenfold. But even here the “wheel” began to turn back: now every fourth student receives an education in Russian schools. “Kyrgyzstan is one of the countries where citizens speak the language of Pushkin and Dostoevsky fluently. And we consider this the spiritual wealth of our society,” said President Jeenbekov, a former teacher of Russian language and literature.
As for Turkmenistan, in this sense it is in complete decline. There are almost no ethnic Russians left - about 3% of the total population of the republic. There are “Russian classes” in only a few schools with the Turkmen language of instruction, and there is only one Russian school - in Dushanbe. It is almost impossible to get into it due to its “elitism”. Almost no one speaks Russian—young people don’t understand this language at all. But there is a demand for education in Russian, albeit unsatisfied.
Meanwhile, the opinion that the tendency in Central Asia to study in Russian threatens the national interests of a particular country is still widespread, and not to a small extent. In nationalist circles, the Russian language is perceived not as an opportunity to expand knowledge, master new technologies, obtain quality education, development, etc., but as a means of “colonization by Russia.” Why, for example, not the USA or the UK - after all, in Kazakhstan they focus on learning English? And in Switzerland there are generally four official languages- German, French, Italian, and even Romansh. And no one here mentions the colonization of the Swiss cantons by the Germans, French or Italians. Apparently, this is still a matter of mentality and tolerance, which are “limping” in most former Soviet republics.
The appeal of Uzbeks and Tajiks to the Russian language and its revival is natural. Time took away “Pushkin’s language”, and time brought it back. Or rather, it returned expediency, and not to the detriment of the language of the titular nations, their socio-economic status, standard of living and national security. And that’s why the native language is native, so that it can be developed and not forgotten. Russian is not a hindrance to this. “The number of languages you know, the number of times you are human,” is a phrase attributed to various people, from Emperor Charles V to Goethe and Chekhov. The revision of this truth has not yet yielded good results.

Compact automatic blood pressure monitor Omron M3 Expert with Intellisense intelligent measurement technology, arrhythmia indicator, motion indicator, memory for 60 measurements. Supplied with a fan-shaped cuff 22-32 cm.
According to the results of a test of electronic tonometers conducted by SPROS magazine and RIPI (Russian Institute of Consumer Testing), the OMRON M2 Eco tonometer became the leader in terms of the set of useful functions. The new OMRON M3 Expert, which appeared in early February, being a model successor and technical analogue of the M2 Eco, is not functionally only repeats, but even surpasses it.The consumer properties of the M3 Expert have noticeably improved, thanks to the emergence of such innovative functions as a blood pressure level indicator and an indicator of correct cuff fixation.
The blood pressure (BP) level indicator in the Omron M3 Expert tonometer offers today the most advanced algorithm for informing the user about high blood pressure. It not only signals the fact that the recommended blood pressure limit has been exceeded for one of the parameters (systolic blood pressure or diastolic blood pressure), but also shows separately the level of each blood pressure value relative to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). Thus, the patient sees at what level the results of his systolic and diastolic blood pressure are relative to the WHO recommended values.
Omron M3 Expert is equipped with an indicator of correct cuff fixation in the form of a user-friendly graphic icon. This function allows you to evaluate the correct fixation of the cuff on the arm, which is the key to accurate measurements
Intellisense is a unique technology that pumps air into the cuff, which controls the measurement process and allows you to take into account the individual characteristics of each user's pressure and pulse. A tonometer with Intellisense measures pressure while the cuff is being inflated. The device seems to “feel” you, it “knows” what pressure is in the cuff at this moment necessary and creates only optimal pressure. This allows you to reduce measurement time and minimize pain from squeezing your hand.
The M3 Expert tonometer is equipped with a function for detecting irregular heartbeats. Irregular heartbeat may affect the accuracy of measurement results. The irregular heartbeat detection algorithm automatically determines the reliability of the measurement results obtained and the need to repeat it.
The device has a memory for 60 measurements with recording of the date and time of measurement. It is possible to calculate the average value of the last 3 measurements.

An irregular heartbeat is a rhythm that is 25% different from the average heart rate determined by measuring systolic and diastolic blood pressure. If the arrhythmia indicator is OFTEN displayed next to the measurement result, it is recommended to consult a doctor for advice.
— Motion indicator. The motion indicator is displayed if you moved during the measurement, the results may not be accurate. Remove the cuff and wait 2-3 minutes. Measure your blood pressure again, being careful not to move during the measurement.
— Indicator of correct fixation of the cuff. If the cuff is not applied tightly to your arm, the measurement results may be inaccurate. In this case, the indicator light for correct cuff fixation does not light up. When the cuff is properly fixed, the indicator lights up green. This function is used to determine the required tightness of the cuff to the arm.

Detailed description of the Omron M3 Expert HEM-7132-ALRU tonometer:
Automatic blood pressure meter Omron (Omron), model M3 Expert with adapter and universal cuff on the forearm from 22 to 42 cm, is a compact, fully automatic device for measuring blood pressure, operating on the basis of the oscillometric method. It measures blood pressure and heart rate quickly and easily.
The device uses advanced IntelliSense™ technology, which provides patient-friendly, controlled inflation of the cuff without pre-setting or re-inflating the air pressure. Intellisense™ technology ensures that the correct cuff pressure is automatically selected before measurement. The device does not create excessive pressure in the cuff and eliminates pain during measurement.
Features of the Omron M3 Expert HEM-7132-ALRU tonometer:
1. New fan-shaped cuff.
In 2016, Omron tonometers introduced a new universal fan-shaped cuff, Easy Cuff, for the forearm with a circumference from 22 to 42 cm, which is suitable for medium and large hands. The Omron company uses Fan-shaped cuffs. It ensures uniform pressure distribution throughout the entire section of the artery located under the cuff. This is the key to an accurate result and minimizes pain from squeezing the arm with a cuff.
2. Indicator of correct fixation of the cuff.
The M3 Expert tonometer evaluates the correct placement of the cuff during inflation. When the cuff is applied correctly, () appears on the display while taking measurements or using the memory function. If the cuff is not applied correctly, () appears on the display. Thus, the indicator of correct fixation of the cuff informs the user whether the cuff has been applied correctly, providing accurate measurement results.
3. Arrhythmia indicator.
The Omron M3 Expert tonometer is equipped with a function for detecting irregular heartbeats. Irregular heartbeat may affect the accuracy of measurement results. The irregular heartbeat detection algorithm automatically determines the reliability of the measurement results obtained and the need to repeat it. If an irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement, but the result is reliable, it is displayed on the screen along with the irregular heartbeat symbol (). If an irregular heartbeat results in an unreliable measurement, the results are not displayed on the screen. If after the measurement procedure the irregular heartbeat symbol () appears, repeat the measurement. If the irregular heartbeat symbol () appears frequently, tell your doctor.
4. Motion indicator.
If you start to move while taking a measurement, a motion indicator () will appear on the screen.
Stay still and repeat the measurement.
5. Using the memory function.
The Omron M3 Expert tonometer stores up to 100 measurement results in memory. It also calculates an average based on the last three readings taken within 10 minutes.
Warning!
Self-diagnosis based on measurement results and self-medication are dangerous. Follow your doctor's instructions.

- A cuff is placed and fixed on the shoulder of the left or right arm 2 fingers above the ulnar fossa.
- It is not recommended to talk, change position or laugh during the measurement.
Measurement procedure
- Turn on the Oron M3 Expert (HEM-7132-ALRU) device.
- If the cuff is applied correctly, an indicator will appear on the screen: the letters “OK” in a spiral.
- The device automatically pumps air into the cuff.
- A sound signal will notify you that the measurement is complete.
- After evaluating the results on the display, turn off the device and remove the cuff.
The innovative Intellisense system calculates adequate pressure in the cuff, reduces examination time, and reduces pain when the brachial artery is compressed by the cuff.
results
- Measuring blood pressure three times increases the accuracy of the data.
- In case of movement, a special motion sensor on the screen will warn you about the need to re-measure.
- A flashing heartbeat symbol will alert you to abnormal systolic or diastolic blood pressure levels.

Omron M3 Expert tonometer - reviews.
We have been using this tonometer for five years now. We chose it very carefully and compared different models, and the medical equipment store assured us that this is one of the best blood pressure monitors. So we decided to buy an Omron M3 Expert blood pressure monitor. A very important criterion for us was that the device detect arrhythmia and at the same time show the correct result. Our purchase turned out exactly like that! And its error is small, 2–3 units is nonsense.
Additional functions include a sound signal that beeps during measurement in time with the pulse, and it is immediately clear whether the pulse is fast or not. If this is annoying, you can simply turn off the sound. The blood pressure monitor comes with a cuff that is suitable for medium and large hand sizes. It's designed in such a way that it doesn't put too much pressure on your hand. Its Velcro is reliable, it still holds and does not crack. The air tube is of decent length, you can comfortably position yourself when taking measurements.
If you move your hand while measuring, an icon will appear on the display, and this must be taken into account, since in this case the results may be incorrect. Also, icons appear if there is an arrhythmia or the cuff is not put on correctly - all this affects the accuracy and it is better to re-measure.
Power source - 4 AA batteries or via a power adapter. We use batteries, and if I'm not mistaken, we change them about once every two years. This is for everyday use. A convenient compact bag for the device is also actively used.
Tonometer Omron M3 Expert - reviews.
A device for measuring blood pressure is necessary in every home. I bought an Omron M3 Expert blood pressure monitor. It seemed to me that this best brand and model. Brand - because Omron devices are the most common on the market, the model has a rich set of functions and ease of use.
Even appearance The models are cute, neat design. The visual advantages of the device are a large, clear display with large numbers and an indication of optimal pressure readings on the screen. The set includes a soft case, which is also a necessary thing - you can pack all the components of the tonometer. Also included: batteries, AC adapter. The power supply, of course, can be purchased separately, but it’s still nicer to have everything at once. The cuff is very comfortable, follows the shape of the hand, and this ensures the accuracy of the result. The correct fastening order is drawn on the cuff. You can connect any other cuff from Omron.
Regarding instructions and other documents - firstly, the instructions are on the box itself. Secondly, an instruction manual, a warranty card and an interesting thing - a diary for recording results. Here you can record data and create a graph to track pressure fluctuations.
There is an arrhythmia indicator, an indicator of the correct fixation of the cuff, an indicator of movement during measurement, a memory for 60 results indicating the time and date, and the average value can be calculated. Thus, for a modest price, the device combines all the necessary functions.
It is clear that progress does not stand still, and more sophisticated Omron models are already being sold. But, in my opinion, they are crammed with unnecessary features, and the price is much higher. I consider my device to be the best due to its affordable price and impressive configuration.
Tonometers Omron M3 expert - reviews.
I use the device to measure blood pressure quite often, because sometimes my vision gets dark, my head pounding, and my pulse jumps. Even though I’m only 30 years old, my blood pressure is already going crazy. I bought an Omron M3 Expert tonometer a year ago when I was pregnant. It is easy to use and provides results quickly and accurately.
There was a case - after the maternity hospital we were brought home, and I suddenly felt unwell, my heart was beating quickly, it was difficult to breathe. I suffered a little, drank valerian and validol, but it didn’t get any easier. I measured my blood pressure, it turned out to be high and my pulse was over 180... They called an ambulance. The doctor was surprised by such a pulse and decided that the tonometer was lying. I checked it manually (by placing my finger on my wrist) - the results were the same! I also double-checked the pressure with my mechanical tonometer - and then everything coincided. They gave me an injection and I felt better. The doctor wrote down the model name of my device and said that she would recommend it to all her patients.
