Now the company provides the opportunity to carry hand luggage up to 10 kg (the weight of hand luggage on the plane was previously 7 kg), get 25% more miles for members of the S7 Priority program (the number of miles has been increased by S7 Airlines from 25% to 50% at the minimum fare) , purchase any fare until the flight is fully loaded.
In the Economy Basic tariff plan, the airline included a flight (1 seat) + 1 piece for hand luggage, the weight of which is 10 kg, and the dimensions must correspond to the parameters 55-40-20 cm.
Baggage at this rate is paid and is calculated from the cost of 2500 rubles for one segment: 1 piece of luggage for 23 kg of luggage (the norm for the luggage compartment is 203 cm). For international flights - calculation and payment in euros, for flights with transfers (domestic / international) - calculation also in euros. When buying an air ticket and paying for baggage online, the passenger receives a discount (according to the payment rules), and the cost of 1 piece of baggage will be equal to 1,800 rubles. It is worth paying attention to the fact that according to the rules of the company, the price of baggage transportation in case of a transfer (on the company's domestic flights) is doubled.
If the allowance is exceeded, the baggage allowance is calculated based on the following parameters.

Important! If a passenger has to wait between connecting flights for more than 24 hours, then the transportation conditions are as follows: baggage is checked in to the first connecting point.
Free of charge (that is, if you already have a paid seat, in addition) you can carry baby strollers, cradles, car seats for children (as hand luggage or luggage), but only if a child is also registered on the flight. If there is no child, and the stroller is intended, for example, as a gift, then it is paid for like the rest of the luggage. The airline also allows one set of skiing or snowboarding equipment to be carried free of charge if the weight of the carried set does not exceed 32 kg. The conditions for transportation of a larger set are the same as in the case of "non-standard" cargo.
Important! Members of the S7 Priority program with Ruby status are entitled to 1 free piece of baggage (up to 23 kg) even at the Economy Basic fare.
Irregular baggage
Aircraft can also carry non-standard cargo, that is, luggage that does not meet the norm (more than 203 cm and heavier than 32 kg). Before the flight, you need to contact the company in order to clarify whether it is possible to transfer such cargo on the desired flight. If there is a possibility, then, most likely, the company will offer to buy 3 standard pieces of luggage, and the tariff plan will not be taken into account in this case. Maximum allowable weight for transportation - 50 kg. But the question of how much baggage costs on an airplane for the disabled, which naturally exceeds the weight of 50 kg, can be answered unequivocally - wheelchairs and other large-sized assistive devices can be transported at a standard rate or free of charge, if they can be placed in the cabin.
Transportation of animals
A container with an animal is considered excess cargo and must be paid for. Most often, the container is placed in the luggage compartment, taking into account its parameters (the total weight of the standing container must be more than 8 kg, the size must be more than 115 cm). If the container is smaller, it can be carried in the cabin.
Important! It is not possible to register the transportation of an animal online.
Service "Additional norm"
The company operates the service "Additional baggage allowance". In accordance with it, it is possible to carry cargo in an aircraft that exceeds the standard norm by 5-15 kg. The regulations and standards mentioned above are internal and only apply on flights operated by the company. Baggage on S7 aircraft: rules of carriage
The company has certain baggage rules that should be considered when planning a trip:
- There is a whole list of items prohibited for transportation (you can find out what is still forbidden to be transported at the information stands of the company at the airport and on the official website);
- There is a list of items that can be transported in limited quantities: alcohol, scissors, aerosols and sprays;
- It is not recommended to carry food in your luggage. Baby food is carried in hand luggage (if it is intended for consumption during the flight);
- It is not recommended to carry in baggage (preferably in hand luggage) items such as money, jewelry, electronics (laptops, smartphones, tablets), documents, keys;
Important! Baggage in the S7 aircraft is located in a special baggage area (compartment). Access to it during the flight is prohibited.
According to the AK rules, the following items are not subject to weighing if they are not packed:
- bags (ladies') and briefcases;
- folders with business papers;
- outerwear;
- books and magazines intended for reading on the plane;
- baby food;
- digital equipment (cell phone, smartphone, tablet, laptop, video camera, camera).

It must be borne in mind that one bag (suitcase) is one piece of luggage. Payment will be made according to the tariff even if the bag weighs less than 23 kg. Packing two bags or two suitcases at the same time is not allowed.
Basic Economy Basic fare options of S7 Airlines
Passengers are also entitled to:
- 50% of miles (according to the S7 Priority program for S7 economy class);
- choosing a seat when registering on the website (company website - s7.ru) and when buying a ticket at the airport; paid service: online registration choice of seat - from 300 rubles (depending on the direction), when buying a ticket at the airport - from 500 rubles;

- snack (hot meal) during the flight.
Important! Refund of the ticket under the tariff plan "Basic Economy" is not available. Open Date and Stopover options are not available with this option package.

- baby food for the child during the flight;

- laptop;
- suit in a suitcase;
- baby cradle when transporting a child;
- crutches, stretchers or a wheelchair when transporting a passenger with reduced mobility.
That is, there is, for example, no fundamental difference with Pobeda, which: the only difference is that in hand luggage you can take a bag of almost any type (even a bag, even a backpack) and even a small suitcase (there are special rather roomy suitcases of the format Cabin Bag / Cabin Trolley), but to check in anything other than a hard plastic suitcase is dangerous for its contents; but you can put more different items in your luggage, including, for example, liquids.
According to the airline, about a third of S7 Airlines passengers fly only with hand luggage, in some areas this figure exceeds 50%.
“We found out that, for example, on flights from Moscow to Kazan, 55% of passengers travel only with hand luggage. Business class passengers often fly on short business trips, and only 5.5% of them take two pieces of baggage with them, although business class allows free transportation of two bags of 32 kg. However, the cost of all these services is initially included in the ticket price. As a result, we decided to switch to a more flexible tariff system that takes into account the interests of different categories of passengers, and allows you to pay only for those services that the passenger actually uses,” notes the Deputy CEO- Director of the Commercial Directorate of S7 Group Natalia Popova.
The absence of a business lounge is explained by the fact that many business class passengers do not use their services, especially before short flights, preferring to check in online and arrive at the airport shortly before departure.
The most interesting thing is that the desired fare will always be available on the website, as long as there are empty seats in the selected class on the flight. That is, if there is at least one free seat in the economy class a couple of hours before departure, then it can be bought at the basic economy class fare.
True, it is important to understand here that this does not mean at all that now there is no difference when to buy tickets - in advance or before departure. The fact is that within each tariff group there are, as before, several booking classes (RBD, reservation booking designators), denoted by letters. In the case of S7 for the basic economy class, there are 14 of them at once: Y, B, H, K, M, L, V, T, R, S, N, Q, O and W, and for flexible economy 15 (class A appears ), and for "business" - 3 (J, C, D). And each of these tariffs has a certain price; all classes are available at the beginning of the opening of sales, and as the departure date approaches, more expensive ones remain. With the new tariff system for each “letter”, not one tariff will be available, but two: basic and flexible. The basic one will always be 2,000 rubles per segment cheaper than the flexible one due to irrevocable and no luggage. We will be able to compare for whom tickets have risen in price and for whom they have fallen in price a little later, when specific tariffs are published.
Under the new tariff system, the conditions for earning miles in the program are improved. Currently, the minimum amount of miles credited for a flight is 25% of the distance between cities in miles. At new system the minimum percentage for a basic economy class fare will be 50%, but not less than 500 miles. For a flight to flexible tariff economy class passengers will receive 100% miles, business class passengers will be able to earn 150% and 250% respectively.
Status members of the S7 Priority program and loyalty programs of other airlines of the alliance one world, regardless of the chosen tariff, all privileges corresponding to the level in the program are available, in particular, free. - flight canceled or rescheduled;
- flight route changed;

- the plane returned to the airport. For example, if for some reason he was denied landing in the country of destination;
- transportation was not carried out after docking;
- landing at an airport not included in the original itinerary;
- tickets filled out incorrectly;
- sick or dead passenger, or its close .
It should be noted that if the flight is partially made, then the cost of the ticket will be refunded minus the used part.
Dependence on the tariff plan
S7 Airlines has four tariff plans. From what fare the passenger chooses and what class he will fly, the conditions will be determined.
Tariffs Economy Flexible and Economy Basic
Economy Basic assumes that purchased on it is completely non-refundable. Nevertheless, if the passenger did not use travel document, it has the ability to change the date and route of the flight. This is possible subject to payment of the cash collection for the operation. However, if the passenger notified about the changes in advance, then the fee will be 3,000 rubles for flights within Russia and 60 euros for international flights. In cases where the passenger did not show up for the flight and did not inform about it, the fee is paid in the amount of 5,000 rubles or 80 euros, respectively.
In addition, in the purchased tickets, you can change the fare to Economy Flexible and Business Basic, but with the condition of additional payment.
The Economy Flexible fare provides the possibility of departure date, flight number, as well as return without additional fees. However, if the ticket price is higher, then you will need to pay the difference.
The situation does not apply to the circumstances when the passenger did not come to the flight, did not notify in advance and is going to change the date of departure. In this case, you must pay a fee of 5,000 rubles or 80 euros, respectively.
Tariffs Business Flexible and Business Basic
Travel documents of the Business Basic tariff plan are non-refundable. You can't return them and return them. You can change the flight number, departure date, but upon payment of the fee. It is charged in any case. However, if the passenger applied in advance, the fee will be 5,000 euros for a flight within Russia and 80 euros for an international one. In case of delay, it will be necessary to pay 7000 rubles or 110 euros, respectively.
Can I return a non-refundable boarding pass?
S7 Airlines has tickets of the lowest price category, which belong to the Economy Basic and Business Basic tariff plans. It is not possible to return them except in the following situations:
- serious, which is confirmed by a medical certificate;
- death, in which case relatives can apply for a refund.
How to return?
The passenger may refuse in advance, for which he needs to notify the airline. In this case, he can return the money in the amount depending on the time for which he made the refusal:
- 24 hours or more. The entire amount is to be refunded.
- Less than 24 hours. The amount of compensation will be 75% of the cost.
Where to apply?
To return, you must take the following steps:
- If the flight is canceled before check-in, then the official representative puts a mark and certifies it with a stamp.
- When a flight is canceled after check-in, you need to get ticket coupons from the staff at check-in. Without coupons, the ticket is considered to have been used despite the delay or cancellation of the flight.
- Write to the official S7 sales office. It contains the details of the passenger, as well as the reason why the flight was cancelled.
- In cases of illness or death, a medical certificate is provided or death certificate.
- Get cash. It is carried out on weekdays from 9:00-13:00 in the presence of a passport in the name of the passenger whose ticket is refundable.
