The best prices for flights to Bali. About us Description of dive sites in Bali, which are included in the diving program with the Russian dive center RuDIVE
On the shores of the Pacific Ocean (Bali Sea)
"Another dive center"? Well, yes! At the same time, we have a number of differences from our colleagues, which may be important for our diving guests.
Dive center well located- 120 steps from the entrance to the water. The farthest dive site in Amed is only 15 minutes by boat. This allows us to dive when it is convenient for us, given the conditions of diving in this moment, the tide schedule, the number of "visiting" divers from other parts of the island. Just 20 minutes drive from us is the most famous dive site in Bali, where we have the opportunity to do extraordinary things - for this you do not need to wake up at night and go somewhere.
Our dive center Balinese-Russian
This provides several benefits. Ours are at the price level of other local dive centers. Balinese underwater guides have many years of experience, they know dive sites and the habits of marine life well, they “see” underwater. Plus, there is a "Russian component" - Dmitry Peretyatko (PADI 281287) and Oleg Kravtsov (PADI 257510) - have been in Bali for several years, all this time they have been diving, they speak Russian confidently - they will help solve possible language difficulties, talk about the island, answer questions questions.
We know best places dives in Bali, including lesser known dive sites, and we are one of the few who dive with their guests throughout the island.
The dive center is equipped with everything necessary to ensure safe and comfortable diving: 4 compressors, 100 cylinders, Aqualung, Cressi, Mares rental equipment, desalination baths, transport…
Our Amed is a quiet authentic Balinese village turned small tourist resort. The place is very beautiful: on the one hand - a breathtaking view of the Agung volcano, on the other - the Pacific Ocean with a sandy beach. Nature, a lot of greenery, butterfly birds, and at night - the bright stars of the southern constellations and the moon path running towards the horizon. It is liked by those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, be in silence, sit by the sea, look at the bright sunsets and meet the sunrises. Even if you like the noise of the metropolis, you love the stone jungle, still come to us to take a break and “recharge your batteries”.
The flow of tourists coming for diving in Bali is increasing every year. There are several reasons for this: relatively low prices for accommodation and entertainment, favorable climate (water temperature + 26 + 28 ° C all year round), developed infrastructure of resorts, the presence of Russian-speaking guides, instructors and staff in hotels.
One of the important reasons to come to Bali is the opportunity to scuba dive in the coral reefs and underwater rocks, which are very numerous around the island. Scuba diving is offered in many Bali diving centers, and every year new clubs with Russian or Russian-speaking certified instructors appear.
In a short time, future scuba divers are taught how to use the equipment, explain the rules of behavior on the ship and in the water, consider possible emergency, non-standard situations, from which no one is safe underwater. Training is conducted in Russian. You can rent any equipment: from masks and scuba tanks to fins and wetsuits. Professional instructors not only deliver to dive sites, teach and insure beginners, but also conduct (or help to conduct) underwater shooting, the recording of which is transferred to divers upon arrival back to the ship. An underwater camera can also be rented.
Dive sites
Diving in Bali is concentrated on two sides of the island: a few dive sites in the northwest and many on the east side and southeast. Consider where they are located and where you can stay nearby, not forgetting that the island is not very big - from any point it can be driven in a few hours in search of a good place to dive. A place in the sea from the island is usually reached by Jukung. Jukung is a boat for 2-6 people with outriggers, a sail or a small engine. While diving in Bali in the underwater kingdom, you can see coral reefs, gardens of algae, eels, rays and turtles, sharks and seahorses, bright and rare species of fish.
Northwest diving sites
Menjangan near the islet of the same name, to which you will have to sail about 25 minutes on a jukung. Dive sites are located near the shore, diving is carried out down the rocky walls. Visibility in these places is good - up to 40 m, but sometimes the current becomes strong. It is recommended to stay in Bali in the vicinity of this dive site at The Menjangan, Mimpi Resort, Dynasty Resort.
Pemuteran near the fishing village of Pemuteran, which is being promoted as a diving resort. Beautiful hotels are opened near it, and a coral reef is artificially created not far from the coast. The beaches are covered with dark sand. There are several diving clubs in the area, including the Bali Diving Academy. Hotels in this resort: Matahari Beach, Santi Sari, Taruna Homestay.
Eastern diving sites
Amed near the village of the same name. You can enter the water directly from the shore. After a strip of stones and sand, at a depth of 5 m, a coral garden begins, going into the depths. There is practically no current, the water temperature reaches 30 °C. In addition to the flora and fauna in the coral thickets, you can see the skeleton of a sunken boat. Reviews of vacationers are advised to choose hotels Nalini, Palm Garden and Balila Beach.
Tulamben near the village of Tulamben. Diving is also carried out from the shore, going deep into the sand strewn with volcanic stones. At 30 m from the coast on the right side lies the long ship "Liberty", and its upper part can be seen even from the surface of the water. Therefore, snorkelers with masks and snorkels who do not plan to dive into the sea also like to come here. The history of this ship is told with pleasure locals or Russian-speaking diving instructors. Barracudas, eels, turtles feel great around the ship. The ship wreck has become a popular divers spot in eastern Bali. You can stay at the Tauch Terminal Hotel or at the Liberty Dive Resort.
Southeast diving sites
Cristal Bay- picturesque bay about, an island southeast of Bali, which is reached by boat in 30 minutes. The place is beautiful both from the shore and underwater. The site is very difficult due to downdrafts, so it is not recommended to dive here on your own. To get here, you need to use the services of experienced professionals. If you have the desire and opportunity to stay near Crystal Bay, pay attention to the Bintang complex or the Cool Breese villa.
Tepekong is a small rocky island off the coast of Bali, which is reached by jukung or boat from the port. The dive is carried out down along the sheer walls of the island. Reef sharks can be found at depths up to 60 m. Often there is a strong current here, so the site is also considered difficult. Nearby tourists choose hotels Padang Bai 3*, Celagi Inn 2*, Black Pearl 4*.
Dive clubs in Bali
IN last years on the island of Bali, the demand for the services of diving clubs is growing, so there are a lot of them. There are small companies that provide services for guests of one particular hotel. This is especially practiced in such popular resorts as Tulamben. There are also large diving centers with a network of branches in Bali and other Indonesian islands. In such centers there are guides and instructors who can talk with tourists from different countries in their own language. Since Russian vacationers make up a significant part of the tourist flow, each dive club has one or more Russian-speaking instructors on staff. Of the major diving clubs, one can single out: Sun diver, Black Shark, Bali-club.
Bali is part of the Coral Triangle, thanks to which it is famous for the rich underwater world off the coast and attracts divers from all over the world. You can dive from the shore on Tulamben without a certificate for $ 140, the same is worth getting to know the underwater world in the Blue Lagoon area. The cost of a dive package starts from $100, a one-day tour to the islands will cost at least $145.
Many people decide to make their first dive for a long time, but after trying once, they understand that it is difficult to imagine their rest without diving. The underwater world of Bali is really very rich, and many sites can surprise even experienced divers.
