In the northern part of the Republic of Vietnam there are also good resorts located near Hanoi. You can have a great rest on them from May to October. Consider the top five resorts to choose the most suitable according to personal preferences.

As for the review of the beaches, it is as follows:
- Central beach of Phan Thiet located right in the city. Suitable for those who are too lazy to travel far.
- Tien Tan (Phan Thiet, Ke Ga lighthouse area) – quiet place. Water brings a lot of debris and turbidity due to large waves. If the first one is regularly cleaned, then it is difficult to get rid of the dregs. The entire infrastructure ends with the work of hotels. There is practically no entertainment.
- Puhai Beach (near Phan Thiet)- quiet, surrounded by respectable hotels that monitor the cleanliness and grooming of the coastal zone.
- Khon Rum (twelve kilometers from Mui Ne)- a secluded and beautiful place without entertainment and hotels. City bus number one goes here.
- Rang (Mui Ne central beach) has a developed infrastructure, many hotels, schools of active sports. It's always crowded here. The entrance to the water is gentle. Passages to many sections of the beaches are blocked by hotels.

The best beaches on the island are:

There is an opinion that Vietnam is the same Thailand, only more natural, not so "captured" by tourists. In fact, these are two different countries, each with its own features, and in Thailand there are very wild corners, and in Vietnam - resorts with the most advanced infrastructure. The real Vietnam is the ancient temple complexes of bygone civilizations and the natural beauties of national parks, healthy and delicious food, the cheapest diving in the world and resorts with a distinct European flair: after all, a former French colony. In addition, here you can nostalgia for the recent socialist past: the flag - well, almost like our former one, and there are pioneers in ties, and even the leader in the mausoleum.
If Vietnam magically suddenly found itself closer to Central Russia, the tourist flow to this country would certainly increase many times over. After all, among the tangible disadvantages of this direction is only a long and, therefore, expensive flight. Everything else is solid pluses: an unusual and exciting "excursion", beautiful beaches with ample opportunities for active rest, an extensive and high-quality hotel base, low prices in hotels, restaurants, and excursions.

Regions and resorts of Vietnam
For convenience, Vietnam can be divided into three major regions: North, South and Center. Northern Vietnam is the most ancient part of the country with many sights, tea and coffee plantations, nature reserves and Hanoi, the capital, where West and East are surprisingly mixed. Best time for rest - spring.
Central Vietnam is famous for its long beaches, pleasant climate almost all year round, beautiful views, Da Nang parties and ancient Hue temples.
The South is the heart of the economy. Here lies the largest city of Vietnam Ho Chi Minh, and in it - expensive hotels, the best restaurants, numerous shops and other benefits of civilization. The main resorts of the south are luxurious Phu Quoc, youthful Nha Trang and more peaceful Phan Thiet. More information about the tourist geography of the country is described on the page "Cities and resorts of Vietnam".

Climate
About a third of Vietnam is located at a level of 500 m above the sea, so the climate there is subtropical, and in areas above 2000 m it is even temperate. From April-May to October, the southeast monsoons bring warm and humid weather to the country - except for areas protected by mountains.
In the south of Vietnam (from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet), two seasons can be distinguished - wet and dry. The first traditionally lasts from May to November, the rainiest months are June-August. The second usually starts in December and ends in April. For European tourists, this is the most favorable time. "Velvet" months - January and February: soft sun, refreshing sea water. From late February to May there are hot days without rain.
The best time to visit Vietnam when rain is least likely is from April-May to October-November.
The climate of Central Vietnam (from the resort of Nha Trang to ancient capital Hue): from February to August - it is clear, rains are rare, the temperature is +30...+35 °C. Heavy rains in mid-December, typhoons are possible in October-November in the Da Nang and Hue region, the temperature is +20 ... +28 °C.
In the north of the country (from Hanoi to the seaside resort of Halong), the winter and summer seasons are more clearly marked than in the south. Winter, cool and wet, lasts from November to February, in February and March it constantly drizzles "fun". From May, the summer season begins abruptly: high humidity, temperatures up to +40 ° C.
Visa and customs
Russian citizens arriving in Vietnam for up to 15 days do not need a visa, provided that they do not leave the country during this time, and you can rest on Phu Quoc Island without a visa for up to 30 days. But in both cases, it is worthwhile to pre-arrange a health insurance policy for the entire duration of the trip.

How to get to Vietnam
From St. Petersburg you can get to Vietnam only with a transfer in Moscow, Europe or Asia, but from Vladivostok to Hanoi you can fly directly by Vladivostok Air (1 flight in 2 weeks).
Two low-cost airlines fly from China, Laos and Cambodia to Vietnam at once - Air Asia and VietJet Air.
Two daily trains run between China and Vietnam: Beijing - Hanoi (from 304 USD, travel time - 37 hours) and Nanning - Hanoi (from 37 USD in a double compartment, travel time - 11.5 hours). Both trains leave China in the evening and arrive in Hanoi in the morning. Prices on the page are for April 2019.

Transport
Domestic flights are excellent for moving between cities scattered around different parts of Vietnam. Prices are low, with tickets starting at VND900,000. You can travel by train, they are quite convenient. It takes about 30 hours to get from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, during which time the whole country will fly past the windows. Buses are the most budget option for traveling around Vietnam, but it is better to use them for short distances, otherwise it will take too much time.

Car and moped rental in Vietnam
Accustomed to renting a car in distant countries, you should think about it - road traffic in Vietnam it is poorly organized, the rules are rarely followed, getting confused in the signs and junctions is a couple of trifles. In addition, for independent driving, you will have to issue a local driver's license, and they are issued only if you have a visa for 3 or more months. The solution may be to rent a car with a local driver.
But to rent a bike or moped, you don’t need a license. But this option is suitable for small resorts with low traffic, it’s better not to stutter about moped rides in Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh City without decent driving skills in Southeast Asia.
- What documents are required to rent a car in Vietnam
Communication and Wi-Fi
Tourists rarely complain about mobile communications in Vietnam. It is inexpensive and covers almost the entire country, including small towns and villages. Local calls cost from 1700 VND per minute, a nice bonus - there is no roaming in Vietnam, you can use one SIM card in any city, a call to Russia will cost from 3000 VND per minute.
Everything is good in Vietnam and with the Internet, especially in major cities. Mobile Internet is often faster and more convenient than hotel Wi-Fi, but it needs to be connected separately, details are on the package of the SIM card. The speed and tariffs of the operators are approximately the same, which eliminates the pain of choice. Free Wi-Fi is available in almost all hotels and restaurants.
Vietnam Hotels
In the major cities of Vietnam, the choice of hotels is the most diverse - from mini-hotels to luxury establishments. Service in them, in general, is at the average European level. Type of food - breakfast (most) or half board, the all-inclusive system is practically not found here. The buffet is extremely varied. All rooms from 3 to 5 "stars" are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and telephone, more expensive options also include bathrobes, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, safes and minibars.
Accommodation prices are kept at approximately the same level throughout the year. A night in a luxury hotel in Hanoi will cost from 1,850,000 VND per day for a double room, in a four-star hotel - from 740,000 VND, in a good three-star hotel - from 200,000 VND, and staying overnight in a hostel will cost from 80,000 VND per day per person.
Mains voltage 220 V, frequency 50 Hz. Plugs generally have flat connectors. Rooms in many hotels are equipped with universal sockets, which will accept plugs of almost any configuration. If necessary, the hotel staff will find the right adapter.
Money
The monetary unit of the country is the Vietnamese dong (VND), in 1 dong 10 hao or 100 su. Current exchange rate: 1000 VND = 2.8 RUB (1 USD = 23208.64 VND, 1 EUR = 25507.34 VND).
It is better to go to Vietnam with dollars and euros, the dollar exchange rate is a little more profitable, but for small amounts the difference is insignificant. Rubles are rarely accepted and little is given for them. Currency can be exchanged at banks, exchange offices, jewelry stores, travel agency offices, markets and even at airports - the rate is approximately the same everywhere, there are practically no extortionate markups. But street money changers can cheat and give out 10,000 VND instead of 100,000 VND in the expectation that the tourist will not notice the difference.
Note to the paranoid: Vietnamese dong banknotes are made of thin plastic, it almost does not wrinkle and is not afraid of sea water. You can safely swim with a "patty" in a secret pocket of swimming trunks.
How to avoid problems
Vietnam is one of the safest places in Asia, but even here you should be wary of pickpockets and scammers. The latter are found in a variety of places - a scammer may be an officer at the border demanding money for a free visa, an unfortunate pedestrian who suddenly materialized under the wheels of a bike with a tourist behind the wheel, unscrupulous hoteliers and sellers.
As for everyday life, you should not drink tap water, it is better not to order drinks with ice in small cafes, do not lean on unusual food and fruits at the beginning of the trip, and keep yourself in hand in the presence of alcohol.
What other troubles can happen in Vietnam, how not to turn your body into a continuous crimson fire, where to change money and buy a SIM card, how not to lose the favor of local residents, and also where to run and call in case of trouble, is described in the article “How avoid trouble in Vietnam."

Vietnam beaches
Vietnam stretches from north to south along the shores of the South China Sea - there are incredibly many beautiful beaches in the country. Some have popular resorts and vibrant nightlife, while others are perfect for extreme recreation- surfing, kiting or diving, and still others are magnificent in their wildness and desertedness. Almost all the beaches of Vietnam are sandy, but in some places there is a pebble coating.
Within the boundaries of cities and resorts, most of the beaches are municipal, with free entry, changing cabins, showers and washbasins, sand is regularly cleaned and garbage is removed here, and umbrellas and sunbeds will cost a ridiculous 320,000-60,000 VND per day (you need to bargain). The pages “Beach holidays in Vietnam” and “Beaches of Vietnam” will help you choose your strip of soft sand and gentle sea.

Diving
Diving in Vietnam is one of the cheapest in the world. At the same time, it is really interesting and organized at a quite decent level. There are many interesting dive sites off the coast of the country. The best in this regard are Nha Trang, Hoi An, the islands of Con Dao and Phu Quoc. In addition to a wide variety of corals, you can see all kinds of mollusks, cuttlefish, octopus, squid, clown fish, moray eels, pufferfish, groupers, manta rays and barracudas.
The most suitable time for diving is from October to April. best season for diving in Nha Trang - February-October, and on the island of Phu Quoc - from November to May. Near Nha Trang there are famous diving sites: Moray Beach, Rainbow Coral Reef and many islands near the resort.
The Con Dao Archipelago National Reserve consists of 14 islands and is located 300 km from the coastline. There you can meet very rare mammals - dugongs (sea cows), large green turtles and many endemics - animals and plants that do not live anywhere else.

All photos of VietnamLegends and history of Vietnam
Here is a brief digression into the intricate history of the Vietnamese people. For more than three thousand years BC, the dragon king Lac Long Quan ruled the lands of present-day Vietnam. Once, puzzled by the continuation of the family, he decided to ask the hand and heart of the fairy bird Au Ko. The beauty was not slow to accept the offer and gave birth within the prescribed time ... a bag in which 100 eggs were found, and one heir-progenitor of 100 Vietnamese genera came out of each. Whether the lady hatched offspring or placed the offspring in an incubator - history is silent, but since then every self-respecting Vietnamese speaks of himself as "a child of a dragon, a grandson of the gods." The end of the story is very modern: after a while, the couple separated - Lak Long Quan chopped off half of the sons and went to sea with them, and Au Ko took the remaining fifty and went to live in the mountains. How true Lev Nikolaevich remarked about happy and unhappy families!
To understand the secret of Vietnam's charm, look at any house in a small Vietnamese town. Here it stands, with a narrow, literally 3-4 meters facade, stretched away from the road (the fact is that families here are allocated not an area for houses, but a footage along the street, and quite a bit), two- or three-story. The façade is very ornate, even, perhaps, somewhat variegated; the double-leaf doors across its entire width are hospitably wide open. Above the entrance, evoking vague memories of the "Twentieth Congress of the CPSU", a red flag with a gold star in the center flaunts. One floor above is a small altar with a dark bronze Buddha dormant surrounded by smoking incense. And at the very top, on a tiny balcony entwined with something with small pink flowers, the marble-white Virgin Mary humbly bows her head.

Entertainment and attractions
Vietnam is ready to please its guests with many diverse entertainments: from elephant riding, visits to snake restaurants with crocodile sanctuaries, national parks and fishing to casinos and nightclubs. The highlight of the country's excursion program is the Ku Chi partisan tunnels, but besides them, there are more than enough sights here.
Vietnam is one of the "rice civilizations" with ancient Buddhist temples lost in the jungle, underground guerrilla tunnels and the richest colonial heritage, perfectly preserved from French times. Vietnam is Thailand 20 years ago, not yet trampled by millions of tourists. “Fun, bright, inexpensive” – this is how the local resort life can be described in three words. Incendiary discos until the morning, forbidden pleasures, great shopping, incredible exotic dishes ... Or a relaxing holiday with children, romantic sunsets, mountain hikes and best photos for memory. You choose what you like.
How to get there?
It takes about 9 hours to fly from Moscow to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City by regular flights of Aeroflot or Vietnam Airlines. And this is the only moment that can confuse beach lovers in winter. Our fellow citizens do not need a visa to Vietnam. And if you want to see more in one trip, it is logical to combine a vacation in Vietnam with a visit to neighboring countries - China, Laos, Cambodia, Burma or Thailand. Where is the best place to relax - more on that later.
Which resort to choose?
If you fly now or in the coming months, then a vacation without rain is most likely in the south and in the center of the country. These are popular resorts: Phu Quoc Island, Vung Tau, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Danang. Focus on a flight to Ho Chi Minh City or Nha Trang, depending on the selected resort. January and February are “velvet” months, it is comfortable to rest, air and water are +25…+28 °С. In March and April it is hot and dry, the temperature is +30…+35 °С. In the summer months, it is better to choose the resorts of North Vietnam with a flight to Hanoi. And now we will briefly describe the most popular and rated resorts in the country, where you should go first.
Nha Trang
Nha Trang and its antipode Phan Thiet top the rating of preferences of Russian tourists. Nha Trang Bay takes an honorable 29th place in the world ranking of the most beautiful resort bays. Nha Trang (Russians from Far East say "nishtyang") is growing and developing rapidly, new hotels of international hotel chains appear every year. Many restaurants, shops, colorful markets, a beautiful resort promenade. You won't be bored. After or instead of the beach, you can take a boat ride to the neighboring islands - look at the monkeys or hang out for the whole day in an amusement park. Temple complexes, Buddha statues, pagodas - the cultural component of the resort. And you can improve your health in local mud baths and thermal baths. There are a lot of European youth in Nha Trang, decent clubs with trendy DJs, a good selection of inexpensive alcohol. A few minuses: most of the hotels on the second line; locals come to the city beach, which is used by most tourists, in the late afternoon; after work, they like to relax here with their children. And in the summer months there are a lot of jellyfish near the shore.
Phan Thiet
The complete opposite of Nha Trang. Relaxed, democratic, inexpensive. Most of the hotels are two- or three-story cottages on the shore, comfortably hidden in palm groves. Here everyone smiles at each other, there is no crowd on the beaches, only the sea, the sun and a light fresh breeze. If flip-flops (they are also “flip flops”), shorts and a white panama are your style of relaxation, and you want to forget about the dress code at least for a while, then you are definitely here. Tourists come with children because it's cheap, sandy beaches and the entrance to the water is gentle. Couples find romantic sunsets and time to be together in Phan Thiet. Here, lovers of large portions of seafood with ice-cold beer are expanse, and local masseuses will make you see the "sky in diamonds" with their little hands. There are no particularly interesting sights in Phan Thiet and its environs. Tourists tired of the sun prefer to dilute their idle lying on the sand with water sports. A minus, perhaps, the only one. From the nearest airport in Ho Chi Minh City, it takes 5-6 hours to get to the resort by bus or taxi.
Mui Ne
Neighbor of Phan Thiet, this resort is loved by outdoor enthusiasts. Thanks to the constant wind, there is an ideal wave for surfers and kiters and several dozens of specialized schools with professional instructors. Prices are reasonable: an hour of windsurfing costs about $50, kitesurfing - $70. Many people speak Russian, there are several establishments where you will be treated to borscht and dumplings. True, the prices in the resort are higher than in Phan Thiet, again thanks to the large number of our tourists. On the main street of Mui Ne, spa and massage parlors, cafes and souvenir shops are at your service.
Phu Quoc
A resort island in the very south of the country, in the Gulf of Thailand, just 15 km from the coast of Cambodia. Given the size of the island (the largest island in Vietnam the size of Singapore), there is where to turn around. Active tourists choose jungle trekking, kayaking and canoeing, walking through numerous gardens and parks, and excursions to pearl factories. And diving in coastal waters is considered the most interesting and inexpensive in the country. But the main natural wealth of the island is luxurious sandy beaches stretching for many kilometers. There are still very few tourists on the island, although the infrastructure is rapidly developing. Hotels, casinos, golf courses, shopping and entertainment complexes are being built, a new airport has appeared. But today it's still calm, clean and yet inexpensive resort. Best place for a quiet family or romantic holiday in Vietnam is not found.
Vung Tau
A popular family resort 130 km from Ho Chi Minh City. It is almost as large and famous as Nha Trang, but the vibrant nightlife is missing here. But in the evening you can pass the time in bars with live music, which is a rarity for Vietnam. The beaches are wide sandy, restaurants and guest houses are now open in the former villas of the French aristocracy. The choice of hotels is also decent, for every taste and budget. Buddhist temples, pagodas, parks, the former royal residence, caves and underground tunnels - there is where to walk and what to see. There are two drawbacks: petty theft on the beaches and the presence of oil drilling platforms in the water area.
Condao
“Let's catch up and overtake Thai Phuket!” - something like this you can voice the ambitions of the Vietnamese tourism authorities on the islands of this archipelago in the South China Sea. The first description of the islands belongs to Marco Polo, and Con Son (the old name of Con Dao) got its notoriety thanks to the most terrible prison for political prisoners in Vietnam. Today it is a young resort with beautiful beaches and the best Six Senses hotel complex. Most of the island is national park, many interesting dive sites and places for fishing.
Dalat
A popular international mountain resort in the south of the country, 300 km from Ho Chi Minh City. These places are reminiscent of the French Alps with their mild climate and natural beauty. And it was built during the French colonization of Indochina as a mountain refuge from the sweltering heat. It is cooler here than on the coast, and the daytime temperature, even in the hottest summer months, does not exceed 25 ° C, and at night it drops to a comfortable 15 ° C. From November to April is the dry season, it is better to come at this time. Dalat can be compared to Bali's Ubud. Here are the best spas and massage parlors in the country, as well as several options for treatment and recovery using traditional oriental methods. These are acupuncture, Vietnamese herbal massage, Indian massage, Tibetan practices of face and body massage with warm basalt stones. And in Dalat, the best themed restaurants of Vietnamese and French cuisine. As souvenirs, tourists buy the famous luwak coffee (the palm marten has already enjoyed its grains once), artichoke tea, ceramic dishes inlaid with mother of pearl, and premium quality silk products. It is logical to combine Dalat with a holiday on the beaches of Nha Trang and a few nights in Ho Chi Minh City.
Da Nang and Hoi An
Most Popular seaside resorts Central Vietnam. The best season for a beach holiday is March and April. Da Nang has a modern international Airport, the city is the fourth largest and industrial center of Vietnam. Nevertheless, it is very picturesque, there are several good beaches nearby, including the famous China Beach - a place of youth parties and surf stations. And 40 km away is the cozy town of Hoi An with a huge number of temples, pagodas, art salons, silk and souvenir shops. This is a city-museum, it has only officially registered 844 historical monument. Here you should try authentic Vietnamese cuisine and inexpensively replenish your summer wardrobe with handmade silk items sewn literally in front of you. The ancient imperial capital of the country - the city of Hue - a place of pilgrimage for tourists, lovers of history and adventure a la Indiana Jones, is located a few hours away by car from Da Nang.
halong and haiphong
Halong Bay is a very beautiful and unusual place in northern Vietnam. From Hanoi can be reached by bus or taxi in 3-4 hours (150 km). If you've watched James Cameron's movie Avatar, then the Halong rocks will remind you of the hovering blocks of the planet Pandora. Only in Halong do they bizarrely stick out of the turquoise waters of the bay. The best way to spend a few days in Ha Long is on board a wooden cruise ship. So you can swim to your heart's content in warm and clear water, visit the most beautiful and interesting places, buy authentic souvenirs in the floating village, go down to the mysterious caves on the shore and take the best selfies of your life. And don't forget to try the local delicacy - sweet and sour fish baked in sugar. Halong is also famous as the filming location for the films "Indochina" with Catherine Deneuve in the title role and "Tomorrow Never Dies" with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. Haiphong is a cozy resort town not far from Halong. It reminds of Hanoi twenty years ago with its clean flowering boulevards, colonial houses and unhurried pace of life. In addition to good shopping, the city has many temples, inexpensive restaurants, and a decent zoo. Due to the proximity to Hanoi, Halong and Hai Phong are convenient to visit in one trip, along with a few days stop in the capital.
Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh
The description of the resorts will be incomplete without mentioning the main metropolitan areas of Vietnam, which are usually visited by almost all tourists, because they are also the air gates of the country. These cities are definitely worth attention and at least a brief study visit.
Hanoi is the capital of the country. This city will not leave anyone indifferent: old French houses are immersed in greenery, and ancient temples are two steps around the corner. Stop the cycle rickshaw and ride along the city boulevards, and in the evening go to the performance of the Theater on the Water. Have dinner at a national restaurant, and in the morning go to take a photo at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, look into the Temple of Literature and marvel at the elegance of the Pagoda on one pillar and throw a coin into the Lake of the Returned Sword. And if you have time and energy left, go for a short trip to the mountains to the former French resort of Sapa. In one day in Sapa you can feel all four seasons, enjoy the natural beauties, see the unique Tafin Underwater Palace and the Thac Bak Silver Waterfall. And the most courageous and enduring will be able to climb the highest peak Indochina Mount Fansipan (3143 m).
Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon, as it is habitually called by locals and American tourists, is the main city of South Vietnam. Saigon is interesting during the day and does not sleep at night. Colonial buildings of the last century peacefully coexist with skyscrapers, shopping malls and office buildings. You will be impressed by the former Presidential Palace, and interesting finds of local designers can be bought on Dong Hoi Boutique Street. Military history buffs will be interested in going down into the guerilla tunnels of Cu Chi, and families with children will appreciate the Mekong river trip with lunch and a visit to the snake nursery. And in the evening, it's so good to admire the bright lights and the life below, sipping a cocktail or a cool beer in the hotel's rooftop bar. And with renewed vigor go in search of "adult" night adventures after an invigorating foot massage. In terms of the number and density of bars, discos, entertainment "on the verge" Saigon is not inferior to Bangkok.
In this article, we talk about the best resorts in Vietnam, where and when it is better to relax. We share information about holidays in Vietnam and where it is better to go this year, compare the pros and cons of the best and most popular resorts in Vietnam. An experienced tourist who has traveled half the world sooner or later leaves the beaten path of travel. In search of new experiences, he discovers Asia, far from being as comfortable as patriarchal Europe, and rich in dashing entertainment, as usual with, but no less attractive.
Vietnam, being on a par with Thailand the pearl of the Indochinese Peninsula, promises even a sophisticated traveler a lot of previously unknown experiences.
Vietnam or Thailand: which is cheaper?
When decision to visit asian resort accepted, it is worth asking yourself a question - why vietnam, and not , or, for example, their neighbors in Indochina Laos and Cambodia? As for the last two, one can definitely answer - the level of development of such a sector of the economy as tourism in these states cannot be compared with the Vietnamese one.
What about Thailand? After all, the Thais opened their doors to travelers from all over the world much earlier. Yes, Thailand's economy is focused on foreign visitors, but the tense political situation does not allow tourists to feel safe. In 2014, a military coup took place here, the echoes of which are still destabilizing the situation in the country. In addition, prices in Thai hotels and supermarkets is much higher than in Vietnamese.
By the way, about prices. In Vietnam, the most expensive vacation will cost on the northern coast. The central and southern regions of the country practice a softer pricing policy in relation to their guests. Another plus for vacation in Vietnam is that prices here do not change depending on the season and remain low all year round.
This is interesting! According to legend, the Vietnamese are the fruit of the union of a dragon and a fairy bird. That is why the dragon is the most revered mythical animal in Vietnam.
With children at sea: when to pack on the road?
Due to the length of Vietnam from north to south, The country's climate is very diverse. and not always soft. The north will please with moderate heat from May to October. The rest of the time, although the weather is less favorable to the guests of the country, it still does not stand out as anomalies. These are subtropics - there is a lot of sun, a lot of rainfall and high humidity.
How to save money on a flight to Vietnam - find out in the next one.
Another thing - capricious southern climate. The weather here is warm all year round, but in May the rainy season begins in this part of the country. Tropical showers turn into typhoons, and those into extensive floods. But since October, a lull sets in in the south - there is no particular heat, but winds with rains do not spoil the impressions of the rest.
And even such wayward weather plays into the hands of the tourist - You can visit Vietnam all year round: from May to October sunbathe and swim in the north, in the autumn-spring season - in the south. The average annual temperature here varies from 22 to 25º C.
Contrary to popular belief, the main religion in Vietnam is not Buddhism, but traditional beliefs: the locals worship spirits, mythical animals, and the mother goddess.

However, good hotels on the island are always full, so we recommend that you take care of accommodation in advance.

A traveler who decides to visit Vietnam for the first time should remember a few rules:
- All local vegetables and fruits it is necessary to wash with clean drinking water - the tropical climate promotes the growth of pathogenic bacteria, and the tap water here is not of the best quality;
- when visiting crowded places keep a close eye on your wallet because the indigenous population does not disdain petty theft;
- going to a buddhist temple, it is worth showing respect for religion and, no matter how hot it is, cover your arms and legs with clothes.
